We are less than 48 hours away from BLACK Lion’s Road BOM-BA-YE III and you can feel the excitement throughout Tokyo. There are advertisements all over downtown. One of which is a ZENKI farewell message that has been displayed on a billboard entering the city ever since the finale of 12/23. ZENKI has stated that he is not sure if he will continue his career and may return to hibernation, prompting tears from the Demon Brigade zealots. However, the below advertisement indicates the sincerity and gratitude he has brought to many throughout Japan during his tenure in MAX-J.
As far as Tokyo Zombie is concerned, not much has been seen of him. According to sources, he has entered into a deep meditation at a Buddhist temple.
Apparently, after the conclusion of Pro-Wrestling Toukon Vol. 2, he entered solitude and has not emerged since that time. Tourists have commented that ever since he entered the temple, the sky has become dark. Thunderstorms have tormented the area while mere kilometers away the fields have remained dry. Surely this is coincidence, but perhaps it portends unusual omens…
With the co-main event billed as “World War VI” featuring Julian Cutlass vs. Alexander Irvine under MMA rules now set in stone, the two men held a brief press conference in the city to discuss their upcoming match, prompting the following advertisement to appear on the sides of several buildings downtown.
While both men have stated they intend to continue their careers, with Cutlass joining the roster of House of Strong Style and Alexander Irvine set to compete in Seattle Pro-Wrestling as well as also having agreed to terms on a multi-fight deal with the MMA promotion Union GP, they both stated this might be the last possible time they’ll be seen in the ring together given their current career trajectories as well as being in the twilight of their careers. At any rate, they both vowed to hold nothing back and promised their best match yet.
