WRESTLING INFORMATION
WEAPONS – None
TEAM FIGHTING STYLE –
Edwards, a shootfighter, has the MMA skills to stand toe to toe and strike, or to take an opponent down and submit them, while Hammerstein has a straightforward, although somewhat clumsy, hard charging power attack. Hammerstein is equally adept at throwing his opponent, or himself, around the ring. The two are still trying to figure out how their styles mesh in the ring, and the result is often an awkward, unpolished version of the power/techincal attack that made the Hart Foundation great.
SPECIAL MOVES –
1) Violent Gospel, Book Two: Hammerstein holds the opponent in a bear hug. Edwards will run past the two, rebound twice of the ropes to build momentum, and then hits a springboard variation of the Violent Gospel just as Hammerstein slams the opponent down to the matt with modified bear hug spinebuster.
2) The Good Old Boys Special: Edwards rolls through and locks an opponent in his Burning Clutch kneebar. Hammerstein joins in on the fun by sitting directly on the opponent's back and breaking out a Camel Clutch
SIGNATURE MOVES –
1) Helluva’ Rush: Hammerstein runs and hits his cannonball on an opponent lying prone in the opposite corner. Edwards will come flying in afterwards with a precision, high angle dropkick to complete the sequence.
2) Superstacked Superplex: Edwards picks his opponent up into a seated position on the top rope. Hammerstein picks Edwards up on his shoulders, and walks over to the corner. While still on Hammerstein’s shoulders, Edwards grabs his opponent and suplexes off the top rope, with Hammerstein falling backwards to heighten the impact.
3) Poetry? in Motion (Question mark intended): Edwards beats his Cornered opponent down to a seated position. He tags in Hammerstein, the runs over to the downed opponent. Edwards drops to all fours, Hammerstein runs, and using his partner as a springboard, hits a flying cannonball on said opponent.
4) Sorry Bro: Edwards and Hammerstein perform a double flapjack on an opponent who will land chest first on the rings ropes. They then use the momentum to perform a high angle, double belly-to-back suplex.
