- RIIIPPP! -The sound of tape being ripped from the roll was heard and as we entered the dressing room of Hank Simmons, the newest competitor here in Lion’s Road, we see him already dressed in his wrestling gear which you can tell is from the late 80s. Yellow wrestling trunks, boots and kneepads to match: definitely incredibly generic compared to what most people wear these days. Rolling the tape around his hands rather quickly, it was almost like he never really lost a touch doing all of this. Bringing his head up to look at the camera which is rolling live, he begins to speak as his incredibly deep voice echoes throughout the dressing room.[- Simmons]: We are just moments away from my return match Wolf and I know what you're thinking, am I feeling the pressure? Well hell, I would be lying to you if I said that I wasn't because I am but what separates me from the rest of the boys in the back is that I love it! When I head through those curtains for the first time in twenty-seven years? Yeah, it's going to be surreal and even filled with emotions but rest assured that I'm going to hold to my word and make you and everybody else see just who the new gatekeeper is around here. After finishing taping of his left hand, he immediately begins on the right while continuing to speak.[- Simmons]: The only difference being that I will actually reach a level that you have never seen yet Wolf. Yeah, I took a little bit of time out of my schedule to find out exactly who you are and needless to say; you have come very close to making it but in the end? You have always managed to fall short, haven't you? That's OK Wolf because success isn't for everybody in this sport, let me tell you because when I broke my back back in ‘89? I was told that I would never compete again, and I thought they were right because it took twenty-seven LONG YEARS to finally step back inside of a wrestling ring. Looking up briefly, no emotions whatsoever, just straight focus, determination and intensity.[- Simmons]: But now that I'm back? You best believe that I'm going to capitalize on the opportunity and I'm going to rectify the mistakes that were made. You see, when I received a phone call saying that I had a dark match tryout? I was honored but at the same time, I was also a little disappointed because I know that there's this big battle royal for the chance to walk out two hundred and fifty THOUSAND dollars richer and I'm not going to lie; I would have loved that opportunity but I also understand where the company is coming from. So needless to say, you got me instead Wolf and I know what you're thinking, this old man is looking to take what rightfully belongs to me? The answer to that question is yes, I am going to take it away from you in just a few minutes and there's not a damn thing that you can do about it! Having finished up both hands, he places the tape on the wooden bench next to him and slaps his hands together to make sure that it's stuck like it's supposed to be. Rising to his feet, yeah, he's not in the best of shape but he's also in pretty good shape for a forty-five year old man who is coming out of retirement. Walking out of the dressing room, it's almost time to see if he still has it and in his mind? You best believe that he does!
Wolf's "Wolf Star" theme ends and there's a murmur over the crowd before... IF YOU'RE HAVING GIRL PROBLEMS I FEEL BAD FOR YOU, SON I GOT NINETY NINE PROBLEMS AND A BITCH AIN'T ONE
Hugo's rendition of the Jay Z classic hits and the lion's mouth roars open and "Big" Hank Simmons saunters out with his arms raised. He's wearing a black t-shirt that reads, "WOLF HUNTING SEASON". Simmons points at Wolf and tells him he's going down as he reaches ringside. The fans are pretty welcoming to him until he pretends he's going to throw his shirt out into the crowd and instead throws in Wolf's face. Wolf catches it before it falls and rips it in half! The two men stand face to face almost evenly matched aside from the eight pound weight advantage that Simmons has over Wolf.
JAKE AARONS: This contest is to be fought over a ten minute time limit with a pinfall, submission or knockout to decide the winner! Introducing first from the Northwest Territories and weighing in at two hundred and fifty seven pounds... WOLF!Mixed reaction for Wolf. JAKE AARONS: His opponent from San Antonio, Texas! He weighs in tonight at two hundred and sixty five pounds... making his Lion's Road debut! "BIG" HANK SIMMONS!Simmons gets a largely negative reaction. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this contest is Burly Jones. The bell sounds as Wolf is still warming up on the ropes, Simmons tries to jump him but Wolf catches him with a back elbow that stumbles him! Wolf grabs him by the wrist and whips him off the ropes and hoists him high into the air with a military press on the return! He slams him down and Simmons lands hard, but rolls away and calls for a timeout. Wolf doesn't seem like the type willing to oblige him and he doesn't - unless you count a kick as doing so. Simmons takes the kick to the midsection and falls back into the corner allowing Wofl to call for something, he runs to the opposite corner and storms across the ring looking for a big crossbody splash but Simmons drops down and Wolf hits nothing but turnbuckle! Simmons quickly capitalizes by turning Wolf around in the corner and begins lighting him up with knife edge chops! Simmons looks to have tired himself out after the fifth or sixth one, so he instead pops Wolf in the mouth with a punch! Wolf staggers out and falls to the mat, but Simmons is right behind him. He pulls Wolf back to his feet only to hoist him up for a scoop slam and drop him right back down! He facewashes Wolf with his boot a couple times before rolling him onto his stomach and applying a Camel Clutch! MANDEVILLE NELSON: Someone is about to be humbled, Bastian Krull!BASTIAN KRULL: He's got the ropes!Indeed, Burly Jones is checking on Wolf and Simmons has his left arm around Wolf's face and his right arm draped on the top rope for leverage. Jones looks up, but Simmons has released the rope. Jones sees it shaking and asks Simmons, who of course denies the allegation but as soon as Jones looks back down at Wolf, Simmons grabs it again! Jones looks up again, but Simmons lets go of the rope again and stands up and drops his weight down on Wolf's back! Wolf yelps in pain and Simmons wraps his left arm around his face again and grabs the ropes with his right arm or he would've, but Wolf grabs it! He slowly powers up to his feet with Simmons on his back to the roar and the delight of the crowd. Simmons is shaking his head no, trying to get Wolf to put him down and finally shakes enough that he's able to slip out the back door. Simmons kicks Wolf in the back of the leg, but the big Canadian doesn't even budge. He instead turns around, looking very angry and Simmons responds with a knife edge chop. BASTIAN KRULL: I don't think that's a good idea...Each knife edge chop that Simmons delivers causes Wolf's smile to grow larger and larger before he eggs Simmons on to hit him again, Simmons punches him! Wolf absorbs the blow and pounds his chest! He blocks another punch and sends Simmons tumbling with one of his own. Simmons springs back up and gets hip tossed across the ring. The impact doesn't keep him down long and Wolf is happy because he has a big boot with his name on it... BUT IT MISSES! Simmons drops to the mat and crawls away thinking he got one over on him. Wolf stalks his prey patiently and when Simmons gets up to his feet thinking he's in the clear... WOLF HAMM-NO! Simmons thumbs him in the eye causing him to stagger away doubled over. Simmons climbs onto the second rope and leaps off with a double axe handle that takes Wolf down to the mat. Simmons sizes him up and nails him with the kitchen sink running knee! Wolf falls back and hits the mat with force, Simmons grabs him up and scoops him onto his shoulder... runs into the corner and storms back out with the Mack Truck! The Running Powerslam! He covers! 1... ... 2... ... 3! MANDEVILLE NELSON: He did it! It looks like he hasn't missed a beat!Simmons gets up and raises his arms to some cheers, but mostly jeers for his actions during the match. He looks down at Wolf trying to get back to his feet and piefaces him back down, telling him "I crashed the gate!".

The event opens with a short montage chronicling the last three weeks of television programming with the emphasis of course on the six winners of the Qualifying Bout.
- Blake Mitchell leaps off the top rope and nails the Space Needle on Jimmy Winner. - Keith Skyfire delivers his Skyfire Special to best the Blasted Monk. - A bloody Kelsey Spencer Blue Thunder Bombs Lexxi D. Vine. - Flynn Buck misses his first attempt at Thunderstruck on David Lee Sellers, but nails his second. - Matt Pulver catches an unsuspecting Mark Storm in the Alligator Clutch. - Robb Daniels knees Jon Davenport low to escape the Iron Claw and nail Picture Perfect.
The video ends with pictures of the six participants with a shot of the KOL Championship before we cut to the live crowd in the Pollo Hall - they are loud!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: GAH-REETINGS!
The loud reaction that gets even seems to surprise Nelson.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Welcome to the Lion's Road! The Quest for the Crown ends tonight! Five men and one woman will compete in two separate Triangle Survival matches to determine who will advance to our main event to fight over the richest prize in Lion's Road - the KOL Crown.

MANDEVILLE NELSON: And the mystery briefcase!

JAKE AARONS: Ladies and gentlemen! This is a Triangle Survival match in the Quest for the Crown tournament! It is to be fought over a thirty minute time limit with elimination rules! Pinfalls, submissions or knockouts will determine the winner! Introducing first... Unique match with three babyfaces opposing each other and neither man nor the woman want to be the first one out of the match. Referee Xavier Price finally lets out a "WOW DUDE!" and closes his eyes, then dabs while using his other hand to point. This unorthodox process determines that Matt Pulver will be the first one to go out on the apron and wait to get into the match. The bell sounds and Blake Mitchell shoots in for a take down on Kelsey Spencer, who hops over the attempt. She turns around and tries to dropkick an unsuspecting Mitchell, but he stops short and she falls to the mat. Mitchell pulls her to her feet and applies an arm wringer and wrenches it in tightly, he makes as though he's going to tag in Pulver but instead wrenches the hold on tighter and then lets go and arm drags Spencer down the mat. Pulver slaps Mitchell to tag himself in and shrugs his shoulders as he's walking by him, Mitchell shakes his head and exits to the apron. Pulver grabs Spencer by the arm that Mitchell was just working on, then snapmares her over and applies a short-arm leg scissors. She writhes in pain until she drapes a leg over the bottom rope to break up the hold. Pulver pulls her to feet and shoots her off the ropes close to Mitchell almost asking him to tag in, but he doesn't - Spencer eats a dropkick to the shoulder and flails around on the mat holding her arm. MANDEVILLE NELSON: Oh, Bastian Krull! It's almost like team work! Matt Pulver is continuing what Blake Mitchell started in the early moments of this match - working away at Kelsey Spencer's arm and shoulder.BASTIAN KRULL: I'm not sure it's the wisest move though. I mean, yes, you want to eliminate the third wheel in the match as quick as possible but you're left in there with another rather fresh opponent. When you have to wrestle an additional singles match if you win this Triangle Survival, you'll want to preserve yourself as much as possible. You don't know how long the other matches will go, you may not get much of a rest.Pulver tries to apply the single leg crab on Spencer, but she kicks her leg free and pushes Pulver back into the ropes. A blind tag is made and Mitchell springboards into the ring and nails the Space Needle elbow drop! He covers! 1... ... 2... ... 3! JAKE AARONS: Kelsey Spencer has been eliminated!MANDEVILLE NELSON: Wow!BASTIAN KRULL: Well played move by Blake Mitchell, Kelsey Spencer had no idea that elbow was coming - she was trying to get up! MANDEVILLE NELSON: Thanks for coming!Blake Mitchell turns around as Spencer is rolled out of the ring by stage hands and motions to Matt Pulver to join him inside the ring. Pulver smiles and climbs back in and the fans let loose with some duelling chants for the two babyface wrestlers. SAINT! SAINT! SAINT! MA-TT WREST-LING! SAINT! SAINT! SAINT! MA-AT WREST-LING!
Pulver offers his hand and Blake Mitchell quickly shakes it and the two men back-up to adjust and size one another up. Mitchell shoots in for a single leg takedown and has Pulver hopping on one foot and gets him down, but Pulver quickly pulls rubber guard and turns it into an Omoplata! Mitchell grabs the bottom rope with his free hand before Pulver can grab it up. Price calls for a break and stands both men up, Pulver smiles at Mitchell who's swinging his arm around while holding his shoulder and gives him a nod. They lock-up again, Mitchell goes for an ankle pick, but Pulver clobbers him with forearm blows to the back. Mitchell falls on all fours and Pulver hops right into back mount! He sinks his hooks in and rolls onto his back, Mitchell fights to defend a choke which Pulver definitely makes him think he's going for, but instead quickly transitions into a cross armbreaker! He's unfortunately too close to the ropes for the hold to be on for long. Price calls for the break, and Pulver lets go and rolls up to his feet. Mitchell exits the ring holding his arm in pain, the ringside physician checks on him and Mitchell gently pushes him away and walks back up the stairs to the runway and climbs back in the ring. BASTIAN KRULL: The cross armbreaker is a dangerous move, Mandeville. It doesn't have to be in for long to be effective and it's not always the aggressor causing the damage, Mitchell may have turned the wrong way when he thought Pulver was going for a choke and popped his shoulder. Mitchell is still favouring his shoulder a bit when he locks up with Pulver again, and Pulver goes for an arm wringer but Mitchell slaps Pulver so hard the fans let out a gasp and he falls to the mat! Price backs Mitchell off as Pulver is down on all fours holding his face. Price tells him he's got a ten count to get back to his feet and Pulver nods, but seems to take his time climbing back to his feet. He gets to a vertical base at seven, and Mitchell grabs him in a front facelock and snap suplexes him down to the mat. Mitchell floats over for the cover. 1... ... 2-KICKOUT! Pulver sits up after kicking Mitchell off and Mitchell responds by pulling him up by the neck, dropping him across his knee for a backbreaker! Mitchell lets Pulver fall to the mat and walks to his feet and pulls both up, quickly turning Pulver over into a Boston crab! Pulver cries out in pain, holding his arms out for the ropes which are not within reach! Mitchell tries his best to maintain his balance as Pulver crawls toward the ropes. Mitchell tries to pull him back toward the middle of the ring, but the process of yanking Pulver there hurts his shoulder and he quickly drops the legs and goes rolling across the ring. Pulver retreats to the corner, but Mitchell comes back fired up, grabs his legs and yanks him out of the corner - Pulver goes up and then down! Hitting the mat with some good force. Mitchell tries to go back to the Boston crab, but Pulver pulls him by the head into his guard and begins clubbing him with forearms! Mitchell covers up, pulling himself out of the guard in the process and pushes Pulver's legs aside and drops an elbow down! He covers! 1... ... 2... KICKOUT! Mitchell grabs Pulver up and applies a front facelock, he tries for a suplex but Pulver blocks it and tries for one of his own, but Mitchell blocks that! Mitchell knees Pulver in the gut, but this causes Pulver to fall out of his facelock and down to his knees. Mitchell rubs his shoulder before grabbing Pulver again, who explodes to his feet to the delight of the crowd. He clubs Mitchell twice in the face and then a club to the shoulder! Mitchell doubles over in pain and Pulver uses this chance to nail his half-hatch suplex! Pulver points to the top rope and gets the fans' approval so he climbs up and balances himself... waiting for Mitchell, who is now on all fours. Pulver leaps off looking for a double stomp, but Mitchell rolls forward to avoid it. Pulver's momentum carries him into the opposite turnbuckle and he turns right around into a superkick! MANDEVILLE NELSON: OH! Did you hear that!?Mitchell climbs onto the second rope as Pulver falls back into the corner and begins unleashing big right hands as the fans chant along! After ten of them, Mitchell drops down and plays to the fans as Pulver stumbles across the mat. Mitchell climbs out onto the apron and ascends the turnbuckle, he almost gets his balance when Matt Pulver charges up there and Northern Light suplexes him from the top rope! Both men land hard, but Pulver quickly slaps on another cross armbreaker! BASTIAN KRULL: Holy shit!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: There you go, kid, you made a combat sports legend mark out!Mitchell kicks his feet around looking for the ropes, and then tries to stand up to get out of it, but Pulver releases the hold and double stomps the arm before Mitchell can even move! Mitchell cries out in pain as Pulver begins straight jacket'ing his arms and wraps his legs around his neck for the Pulverizer! He hooks the leg too! Mitchell is adamant that he will not submit to this, but the fans and Xavier Price alike can see the grimace on his face as his shoulder is being affected even more! Price reasons with him - telling him you've got to get out if you're not going to submit - and that is much easier said than done, Mitchell struggles but he is being contorted in all different directions! Unable to move, Price calls for the bell! MANDEVILLE NELSON: What's the call here?Price walks over to Aarons and talks to him, Aarons nods and bring the microphone to his lips. JAKE AARONS: Referee Xavier Price has called a stop to the match... declaring your winner by technical submission... MATT PULVER! Pulver celebrates his victory while Mitchell is arguing with Price, who throws both hands out and repeats what he told him in the submission. BASTIAN KRULL: Not a call that Blake Mitchell is going to like, but it helped save his arm and shoulder - he didn't want to tap, but he wasn't getting out of that hold either. Mitchell nods dejectedly and stands up, he grabs Pulver by the shoulder and swings him around. "Heart of the Champion" plays on as Mitchell extends his hand, and Pulver quickly accepts the gesture. Mitchell pulls him in close and hugs before raising his arm in victory. He taps the "Babyfaced Wrestling Machine" on the chest a few times before exiting the ring, leaving Pulver to soak in the adoration.

Our multiple minute ad interruption ends and we're back inside the ring with ring announcer Jake Aarons...
JAKE AARONS: Ladies and gentlemen! This is a Triangle Survival match in the Quest for the Crown tournament! It is to be fought over a thirty minute time limit with elimination rules! Pinfalls, submissions or knockouts will determine the winner! Introducing first...
AS I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH
JAKE AARONS: From Knoxville, Tennessee by way of Lexington, Kentucky. He weighs in tonight at two hundred and thirty five pounds... ROBB DANIELS!
"Gangster's Paradise" by Coolio begins to play and the lights abruptly shut off while the music continues to play. Plenty of camera flashes begin lighting up the lion head on stage before the mouth roars open and Robb Daniels emerges. Daniels' confident strut down the runway says it all, he reaches the ring and wipes his feet before stepping through the ropes. Daniels circles around the ring before climbing onto the middle rope and looking out to the crowd before hopping down and waits for his opponent. "Mississippi Queen" by Mountain begins to blast out over the arena speakers as smoke fills around the lion's head. A spotlight shines on the entrance as the lion's mouth opens up and Keith Skyfire walks out.
JAKE AARONS: From Knoxville, Tennessee! He weighs in tonight at two hundred and fifty five pounds... KEITH SKYFIRE!
Keith slowly moves toward the ring, he moves through the ropes and then into the center of the ring. Keith opens his ring jacket throwing both arms out. Keith quickly jerks the ring jacket back together, slowly turning moving back across the ring to his corner waiting for the match to begin. "Thunderstruck" by ACDC hits and Flynn Buck runs out of the lion's mouth.
JAKE AARONS: From Montreal, Quebec! He weighs in tonight at two hundred and twenty five pounds... FLYNN BUCK!
He runs to one side of the stage and points to the crowd, before running to the other end and doing the same. He hops off the runway and jogs down to the ring, exchanging fist bumps with the fans. He rolls into the ring and poses for the crowd before going to his corner and waiting for the match to begin.
JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Brian Shelzi.
Shelzi calls for the bell even though all three men are still in the ring, Daniels and Skyfire both decide to team up and go after Buck. A double clothesline attempt is ducked and Buck hits the ropes and pops out with a springboard double clothesline! Both men go down and roll out of opposite sides of the ring but greet on the outside with a couple shoves blaming each other for that plan going awry. Buck flies out of the ring with a tope con hilo that takes all three men down!
BASTIAN KRULL: Fast and furious action here in the early moments.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Does Shelzi know that it's two in and one out?
BASTIAN KRULL: He may not care, I wouldn't put it past him.
Buck gets up and slaps the hands of the fans at ringside and pulls Daniels up and rolls him into the ring. Skyfire grabs Buck before he can climb back inside and drills him off the ring post! Flynn goes down like a sack of potatoes and medical staff rush to him as Skyfire shrugs his shoulders and rolls in the ring. Daniels gets the jump on him, stomping away before he can get to his knees. Daniels applies a front facelock and yanks Skyfire to his feet, but Skyfire scoops him up into a fireman's carry and spins him around with the airplane spin! Skyfire drops him onto his feet after fifteen rotations or so and lariats the absolute crap out of him! Skyfire covers!

2...
FOOT ON THE ROPE!
Back on the outside, Flynn Buck is busted open but trying to get to his feet despite the ringside physician trying to close up his gash a bit. He shoves the doctor aside and slides into the ring to the roar of the crowd, Skyfire gets up and boots Buck in the gut and goes for the Skyfire Special... but Buck pounds away when he's up high... Daniels musters some strength and chop blocks Skyfire from behind and Buck lands on top!
1...

2...
...
KICKOUT!
BASTIAN KRULL: Referee Brian Shelzi not doing anything to enforce the two in, one out rule.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Eh, it's fun, let it be.
Buck continues pounding away on Skyfire until Daniels grabs him and unleashes a European uppercut! Buck falls back and then comes screaming with the ferocity of a tiger (teehee) and nails Daniels with a European uppercut of his own. Daniels falls out of the ring and Skyfire stands up, grabbing Buck in a rear waist lock. The two men jockey for position with several standing switches, Skyfire finally wins out and German suplexes Buck but he lands on his feet! He wipes the blood away from his eyes and begins lighting up his much larger foe with knife edge chops! He backs Skyfire into the ropes and shoots him off, Skyfire comes back and catches a leaping Flynn Buck in the air, plants him on his own two feet for a second or two and then belly to belly suplexes him! Skyfire gets up full of energy and pumps his chest before Daniels yanks him out of the ring by his feet and rushes in to cover Buck!
BASTIAN KRULL: Daniels treating this like a traditional triple threat, but it works - the less effort you have to exert to get the third participant out of the match the better off you'll be!
1...
...
Skyfire stomps Daniels on the back to break up the pin. He grabs Daniels up and whips him into the corner and grabs him for an Exploder when he staggers out, but Daniels elbows his way out of it. With Skyfire staggered, Daniels arm drags him to the mat. Skyfire springs up again and eats a drop toe hold across the middle rope! Skyfire comes up choking and heaving and Daniels kicks him in the gut and goes for Picture Perfect but Skyfire grabs him and twists him around to clamp on the Lights Out Guillotine Choke. Daniels is doing his damndest to make sure Skyfire doesn't drop to the mat and apply the grapevine otherwise that will be certain doom for him. Buck pulls himself to his feet in the corner and watches the two men jostle with Daniels dropping to his knees as he grows weaker from the choke. Buck takes advantage and rushes up Daniels' back... THUNDERSTRUCK! The running knee connects with Skyfire and he drops back, releasing his grip on Daniels who rolls out of the way and Buck promptly covers!

3!
JAKE AARONS: Keith Skyfire has been eliminated!
Buck wipes his blood and throws it at Skyfire while talking all kinds of shit to him in French, Buck turns around in time to catch Daniels' kick. Daniels tries to reason with Buck, but Mr. Flynn throws the leg down, grabs Daniels and plants him with an STO! He rolls backwards... KOJI CLUTCH!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Centre of the ring!
Daniels is reaching out for the ropes, desperately trying to crawl toward them but doesn't have much energy left after being choked earlier. Daniels is almost about to tap when Skyfire slides back in the ring and Buck releases the hold, Skyfire grabs Buck and throws him shoulder first into the ring post! Referee Brian Shelzi gets between the two men as it's Skyfire's turn to trash talk! Shelzi pulls Skyfire away and orders him out. Daniels looks up to see what's going on and sees Buck down and out. Brian Shelzi turns around.
BASTIAN KRULL: What!? NO! That shouldn't... NO! COME ON!
Daniels drapes an arm over Buck.
1...
...
2...
...
3!
Daniels rolls onto his back, smiling and gasping for air as Skyfire walks around the ring past Buck still shouting obscenities at the Canadian superstar.
JAKE AARONS: Here is your winner... ROBB DANIELS!
BASTIAN KRULL: How is that...!? Bah!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: It's the referee's call, Bastian. I agree - it should've been a DQ but Brian Shelzi is the man in charge inside the ring and if he doesn't call a DQ then there's nothing anyone can do about it. A man like Flynn Buck isn't going to take this lying down though, I'll tell you that.
Buck rolls onto his stomach watching Skyfire down the ramp through bloody vision, Daniels gets up and gets his arm raised by Shelzi before stomping Buck's head back into the mat! Shelzi backs Daniels into the corner and orders him to exit the ring as stage hands climb in with towels to clean up Flynn Buck.

As our ad ends for some delicious Pollo Bucket, Jake Aarons is standing on the ramp with everyone already inside the ring.
JAKE AARONS: Ladies and gentlemen... it is now time for the two hundred and fifty thousand dollar battle royal! It is also being contested for this mystery briefcase!
A stage hand holds it up as the men and women in the ring begin pushing each other.
JAKE AARONS: Your participants are... Ben Chrenshaw, Blasted Monk, El Hijo de Pollo, Eyesnsane, George Gray, Giovanna Mancini, Hammerstein, Holly Holbrook, Lexxi D. Vine and Jon Davenport! May the best win!
EL HIJO DE POLLO: I will try!
The bell sounds and its a cluster! Davenport stands licking his lips at Lexxi D. Vine who has the biggest look of disgust on her face in response, Lexxi tries to send Holly Holbrook to deal with him but the Jersey Princess Giovanna Mancini blindsides Holly while she's being yelled at by Lexxi. The fact that Holly is being attacked doesn't stop Lexxi from continuing to berate her as she asks why she isn't listening to her! Lexxi is forced to take off as Davenport comes lumbering over to see her with his hotel key in hand. Blasted Monk attacks Eyesnsane and the two men begin brawling and spilling everywhere around the ring. Hammerstein is joking with El Hijo de Pollo, telling him that he really loves Pollo Bucket and Pollo seems genuinely flattered! George Gray walks over and gets in their face while Ben Chrenshaw slinks back in the corner and watches everything going on. Holbrook is Irish whipped into the corner as Chrenshaw moves out of the way just in time, Mancini runs up and catches Holbrook with the #gardenstateboot spinning heel kick!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: I'm not even sure how to call this, Bastian Krull. Where do I start!?
BASTIAN KRULL: Well, I... over... I don't know!
George Gray goozles Hammerstein, but Pollo kicks him low! Hammerstein begins nailing Gray with some left and right hand punches, staggering him back across the ring. Hammerstein gets him in the corner and Pollo levels Gray with a European uppercut and watches him as he staggers out... ACE CRUSHER to complete the 99 Cent Special! Hammerstein and Pollo high five. Blasted Monk is sent into the ropes by Eyesnsane, but kicks off and nails a back kick! Eyesnsane doubles over in pain and eats a couple kicks to the leg! Monk winds up for a high kick, but a Flashback reverse elbow strike catches him and staggers him across the ring. Eyesnsane watches as Chrenshaw grabs Monk and throws him over the top rope, Chrenshaw backs off when he sees Eyesnsane and raises his arms as if to say "he's all yours". Eyesnsane nods and nails another Flashback reverse elbow strike to send Monk down to the floor!
JAKE AARONS: Blasted Monk has been eliminated!
Hammerstein nails the Kamala Splash on George Gray and covers! El Hijo de Pollo tells him you've got to throw him over the top rope and this leads to an argument between the two men. Hammerstein shoves Pollo, who shoves him back. The shoving match continues as Holly Holbrook finally mounts some offense against Mancini, she ducks a slap attempt and hits the ropes... a headscissors take down brings Mancini down to the mat and topples over Hammerstein from behind! Lexxi slides back into the ring and demands Holly stop Jon Davenport, but George Gray is up and cuts Davenport off! Lexxi gets out of dodge again while Holbrook apologizes to Hammerstein. Gray grabs Davenport by the wrist and fires multiple shoulder blocks into him. Davenport is reeled up against the ropes and Gray charges him... Davenport ducks and Gray goes over the top rope. Lexxi has somehow convinced Hammerstein to attack Davenport, so Hammerstein leaps onto his back with a choke hold. Chrenshaw slowly creeps to his feet... SPINNING ELBOW STRIKE! Gray gets hit and goes down to the arena floor!
JAKE AARONS: George Gray has been eliminated!
BASTIAN KRULL: Two down, eight to go!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: At this rate, it won't take long!
Davenport grabs the top rope and looks like he's going to sling Hammerstein right off his back over the top rope, but Pollo yanks him down by his foot and clobbers Hammerstein! Lexxi begins attacking Pollo for foiling her plan, while Mancini gets up screaming something about casper bitches and clobbers an unsuspecting Holbrook! Eyesnsane and Chrenshaw exchange glances and nod once more, sitting back in the corners and watching the action unfold. Lexxi begins chopping Pollo in the corner and he seems to be pretty into it, Davenport taps Lexxi on the shoulder and PLANTS A KISS ON HER! Lexxi FREAKS! She storms out of the ring, grabbing a water bottle from her purse and rinsing her mouth out several times with that and Listerine. Pollo shoves Davenport, telling him she was into him. Davenport chuckles as Eyesnsane clobbers him from behind and asks Pollo to help him jump him over. Pollo shrugs his shoulders and the two gang up on Davenport, but Hammerstein is back in the action and attacks Pollo from behind! Davenport nails Eyesnsane with an elbow and follows up with a wind up punch!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: I have a question.
BASTIAN KRULL: Shoot.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Does a wind up really increase the power of the punch?
BASTIAN KRULL: You could argue that, but I'd say it's more you're standing there dazed and you have no idea when it's coming... then BAM!
Lexxi slides back in the ring, inadvertently tripping Mancini when Holbrook pushes her over! Holbrook excitedly shouts at Lexxi to help her as Mancini staggers to her feet, Holbrook gives her no choice as she grabs her arm and performs a (sort of) double clothesline that takes Mancini over the top rope and to the floor!
JAKE AARONS: Giovanna Man--
A big boot sends Eyesnsane tumbling over the top rope.
JAKE AARONS: Giovanna Mancini AND Eyes... nsane... have been eliminated.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Is Jake Aarons paid by the word?
We are down to six - four men, two women. Hammerstein and Pollo are still eyeing each other while Holbrook is getting chewed out by Lexxi for getting her involved in eliminating Mancini. Davenport and Chrenshaw stare off from across the ring. Davenport is about to advance on Chrenshaw when Lexxi shoves Holbrook in his way, and he seems kind of charmed by her politeness! Davenport gets dropkicked in the back of the leg by Chrenshaw as Lexxi tackles Holly to the ground. Chrenshaw grabs Davenport up and whips him into the corner. He runs in and nails him with several knees to the midsection, runs back and then runs in - KNEE TO THE HEAD! Davenport stumbles out and Chrenshaw directs him toward the ropes. Chrenshaw looks toward Lexxi and Holly to see if they'll help, or to see if they're going to jump him, but Lexxi lets out an "EW! NO!" and storms off. Holly smiles politely and excuses herself as Chrenshaw shrugs and manages to get Davenport over the top, but he lands on the apron. Hammerstein is up on the second rope dropping right handed bombs on El Hijo de Pollo, but Pollo shoves him off after six or so and nails a rolling koppu kick on Hammerstein! The ladies grab Pollo up and he's confused as anything, they chuck him over the top rope and he too lands on the apron. Pollo shoves Holly backwards and blocks Lexxi's attack AND BITCH SLAPS HER!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: OOOHHHH MY GOD!
Pollo tries to get back into the ring by a Tomahawk Chop from Hammerstein to the back of the neck sends him out and down to the floor!
JAKE AARONS: El Hijo de Pollo has been eliminated!
Hammerstein turns and smiles at Holly and Lexxi, Lexxi is livid about being slapped and orders Holly to attack Hammerstein so she does. Holbrook goes for a clothesline, but Hammerstein side steps it. She rebounds with a forearm and knocks Hammerstein back into Lexxi! After being run into by a large sweaty man who looks like he's straight out of the 90s, Lexxi's world is clearly falling apart and she lets out a loud "HMMPH!" and runs up, pushing Hammerstein toward Holly. Hammerstein drops down at the last second and Lexxi collides directly with Holbrook, sending her out of the ring and to the floor!
JAKE AARONS: Holly Holbrook has been eliminated!
Holly raises her arms and looks up to ask Lexxi why, but she's able to have a good direct face to face with her as Jon Davenport dumps her out while she's bitching out Holbrook. Lexxi screams some more and pushes Holly down and storms off.
JAKE AARONS: Lexxi D. Vine has been eliminated!
Chrenshaw tries to sneak up on Davenport who's smiling and watching Lexxi's tantrum unfold, Hammerstein stops Chrenshaw though with a simple kick to the shin. Davenport turns around and watches as Hammerstein hip tosses Chrenshaw into the corner! Chrenshaw is upside down... and Hammerstein backs up to the opposite corner. Davenport runs in between and asks if he may do the honours and extends his hand, Hammerstein gleefully accepts and Davenport Irish whips him into the opposite corner where he cannonballs Chrenshaw with much more speed than he usually does! Davenport asks if he wants to do it one more time, and Hammerstein gives him a thumbs up. Davenport goes to Irish whip him, but Hammerstein hangs on and tries to send Davenport over the top rope with a reverse whip! JD lands on the apron and Hammerstein backs off insisting it was an accident. Davenport climbs back in the ring and corners Hammerstein while Chrenshaw slowly gets up. Chrenshaw staggers and falls between the top and middle ropes, but catches himself and springs out with a jawbreaker lariat as Davenport whips Hammerstein into him! Hammerstein gets turned inside out! Chrenshaw keeps his eyes on Davenport as he peels Hammerstein off the mat and throws him out.
JAKE AARONS: Hammerstein has been eliminated!
Chrenshaw and Davenport circle each other several times with Chrenshaw now unable to pick his spots in the match. Chrenshaw is slighter small at 5"10 / 213lbs to Davenport's 6"2 / 240lbs, but he shows no signs of letting that bother him. He lets Davenport lumber forward for a lock-up and dodges it, dropkicking him in the leg! Davenport buckles at Chrenshaw chop blocks him to take him down completely. With JD down, Chrenshaw picks up the foot and drives the knee straight down into the mat! Davenport rolls around in pain before Chrenshaw puts his foot on JD's ankle to stop him and then drives his opposite foot down on the knee! He does it again! Davenport writhes in pain as Chrenshaw turns to the fans and smirks.
BASTIAN KRULL: Crafty guy, he picked his spots the whole and got himself into the final two and now he's doing some textbook work on the leg.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: I think it's going to be awfully hard to throw someone out who can barely stand though.
BASTIAN KRULL: He'll have a hell of a time trying to eliminate Chrenshaw though.
Nelson grunts out an agreement as Chrenshaw slaps on a single leg lock, Davenport instinctively grabs the ropes but that doesn't matter in this match whatsoever! He realizes this and begins kicking at Chrenshaw with his free leg - who is doing his best to avoid it. Finally when he's unable to, Chrenshaw releases the hold and backs up, daring Davenport to stand up. Davenport doesn't even get to a knee before a bulldog takes him back down. Chrenshaw grabs the leg and rolls out of the ring... he pulls Davenport's leg halfway over the apron and slams it down! Davenport yelps in pain briefly before Chrenshaw does it again! Davenport angrily kicks him into the guardrail with his free leg and buys himself some time as Chrenshaw hits hard!
BASTIAN KRULL: Attacking the leg also renders the big boot useless.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: He's still got the Iron Claw!
Davenport crawls across the length of the ring and pulls himself to his feet on the ropes furthest away from Ben Chrenshaw, so to create as much distance as possible. Chrenshaw staggers to his feet holding his midsections and rolls inside. Davenport doesn't budge though and is buying as much time as he can... Chrenshaw charges! Davenport lifts his leg for the big boot while still holding the ropes for leverage! Chrenshaw grabs it and Davenport pulls it in!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Just like I said! IRON CLAW!
BASTIAN KRULL: He suckered him in!
Chrenshaw is in agony as his head is being clawed by Davenport's hand, JD brings him over to the ropes and leans him over the top rope trying to force him out. Chrenshaw's doing his best to hook his legs onto the bottom rope though. Chrenshaw reaches up and tries to gouge Davenport's eyes, but settles on grabbing him by the neck and trying to force him forward. He succeeds and the two go tumbling over the top rope! Chrenshaw hits the floor and Davenport... has his bad leg tied up in the ropes! The bell sounds and stage hands rush to free up Davenport, who rolls back inside the ring as Aarons climbs in.
JAKE AARONS: Ladies and gentlemen... the winner of the two hundred and fifty thousand dollar battle royal and the mystery briefcase... JON DAVENPORT!
Aarons hands Davenport the briefcase and then some stage hands deliver a giant novelty check, Davenport and Aarons pose for pictures as Chrenshaw looks on displeased.

JAKE AARONS: It is now time for your main event of the evening...The lights go down as the championship music begins to play. JAKE AARONS: It is for the vacant KOL, King of the Lions Championship and is to be fought over no time limit as there must be a winner! Pinfall, submission or knockout will decide the winner! The instrumental of Nelly’s “Heart of a Champion” begins playing as the mouth of the giant lion head opens up. As the beat kicks in, Matt Pulver steps out onto the runway for the second time tonight, checking his wrists and warming up a bit. He focuses on the ring and calmly saunters down the runway with determined steps. Once he reaches the ring, he quickly steps through the ropes and raises an arm. He removes his official PULVERIZER t-shirt and falls back into his assigned corner, rolling his wrists and checking his ropes before stretching his legs as...
AS I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH "Gangster's Paradise" by Coolio begins to play and the lights abruptly shut off while the music continues to play. Plenty of camera flashes begin lighting up the lion head on stage before the mouth roars open and Robb Daniels emerges. Daniels' confident strut down the runway says it all, he reaches the ring and wipes his feet before stepping through the ropes. Daniels circles around the ring before climbing onto the middle rope and looking out to the crowd before looking at Matt Pulver in the adjacant corner. He hops down and waits for the official introductions. JAKE AARONS: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final match in the Quest for the Crown. Introducing first from Knoxville, Tenneesee by way of Lexington, Kentucky. He weighs in tonight at two hundred thirty five pounds and earned his way into the match by defeating Keith Skyfire and Flynn Buck in the earlier Triangle Survival. He is... ROBB DANIELS!Daniels steps forward to a large chorus of boos. JAKE AARONS: His opponent from Leksand, Sweden by way of Tokyo, Japan. He weighs in tonight at one hundred and seventy five pounds and earned his way into the match by defeating Blake Mitchell and Kelsey Spencer in the earlier Triangle Survival. He is... MATT PULVER!Pulver raises his arms and smiles as the fans come alive with cheers and chants for him. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Cordell Garner!Garner acknowledges the fan response to his name and asks both men if they're ready to go as Aarons exits the ring. The bell sounds to start our first ever championship contest in Lion's Road and Robb Daniels wastes no time chasing Matt Pulver down and backing him into the corner turnbuckles. Referee Cordell Garner calls for a clean break, and Daniels backs off at three like he's going to but instead knife edge chops Pulver's chest! He then grabs the young man from Sweden and sets out to Irish whip him across the ring, but Pulver reverses it mid way and sends Daniels in! Daniels comes staggering out after hitting the corner and walks right into an arm drag! His momentum carries him up to his feet and Pulver follows up with a dropkick that sends Daniels reeling back into the ropes! Daniels springs out again and Pulver nails a leaping enzuigiri! Daniels teeters for a few moments then falls to the mat and rolls to the floor as the fans come alive for Matt Pulver. Robb Daniels tells them to quiet down which only makes the crowd grow louder! Daniels climbs back into the ring, but only after taking his sweet time to do so. MANDEVILLE NELSON: Love him or hate him, Robb Daniels has been in the business long enough to know when you've got to disrupt the momentum of your opponent. BASTIAN KRULL: Absolutely, this would have been a very short match if he stayed in there like that.Daniels and Pulver lock-up again with Daniels pull a quick side headlock. Pulver shoots him off the ropes and leaps over him as he springs back, Daniels hits the opposite set of ropes and Pulver arm drags him to the mat! Pulver follows through with a top wrist lock, he puts Daniels arm flat on the mat and drops a knee! Daniels rolls away in pain, but Pulver greets him with a knee to the gut as soon as he gets to a vertical base. Pulver grabs an arm and twists it around in an arm wringer and really wrenches it in, then leaps a couple times to add even more pressure. Pulver drops an elbow across the shoulder to drop Daniels down to a knee. Daniels tries punching his way out of it and gets back up to his feet, deciding he's going to arm drag Pulver and he does, but Pulver rolls through and keeps the hold applied! Pulver lays his arm flat down on the mat again and leaps up and drives a knee down onto it! The pain from the impact causes Daniels to cuss loudly and quickly make his way back to his feet. Daniels grabs Pulver and shoots him off the ropes, he drop toe holds him and then tries to leap over and apply a grounded side headlock but Pulver slips out and grabs the arm! He forces Daniels down to the mat with a grounded hammerlock... holding the arm against his back as he leaps into the air and drives his knee into him! Daniels springs up in pain again and grabs the ropes before Pulver can get a hold of his arm. BASTIAN KRULL: Pulver is just picking apart that arm! MANDEVILLE NELSON: He came in with a plan, Bastian Krull!Daniels not only gets to the ropes, but exits to the apron. Referee Cordell Garner tells him he's got to get back into the ring, but he takes his time doing so. Pulver eggs him on by calling him a chicken and mimicking one, then holds his finger up to say "whoops, I forgot" and does a one arm chicken instead! Daniels is livid as the fans roar their approval! Daniels orders Garner to back him up and when he does, Daniels climbs back inside the ring. Pulver steps toward him and Daniels exits again and the crowd erupts in boos! Daniels drops to the floor as the crowd begins chanting in unison. YOU'RE A PUSSY! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAP CLAP CLAP* YOU'RE A PUSSY! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAP CLAP CLAP* YOU'RE A PUSSY! *CLAP* *CLAP* *CLAP CLAP CLAP*Daniels ignores them as he takes a lap around ringside with each and every front row fan letting him have it. Daniels threatens one before climbing the stairs to the runway, Daniels reaches the apron and tells Garner to back Pulver up. Pulver holds his hands up and backs off, Daniels climbs inside and backs into the corner. Pulver is getting noticeably frustrated by Daniels' stalling tactics and shoves Garner aside and attacks Daniels! Garner gets in between them to separate them and Daniels rakes Pulver's eyes! Daniels follows it up with a big right hand and Pulver is on the ropes! Daniels begins laying into him with several rights as Garner tries to get in there to pull him off. Daniels backs off momentarily, but goes right back to the attack with a kick to the gut and more punches! Garner pulls out a yellow card and shoves it in Daniels' face. JAKE AARONS: Referee Cordell Garner has issued Robb Daniels his first public warning!Daniels dismisses it completely and whips Pulver into the turnbuckles where he hits sternum first and falls back to the mat! Daniels immediately follows up with a running knee drop! Daniels flips Pulver over onto his stomach and applies a Camel Clutch! The fans get behind Pulver with chants for him, as he gets up to his knees and then up to a vertical base. Daniels releases the chin lock and shoves Pulver into the ropes, he bounces out and Daniels German suplexes him! Pulver lands hard on his stomach and rolls out of the ring as Daniels tries to catch him before he does. Pulver crawls across the arena floor trying to regain his composure. He grabs the ring skirt and pulls himself up, then uses the ropes to pull himself to a standing position on the apron. Daniels levels him with a knife edge chop! Pulver falls down to the apron, Daniels reaches through the ropes to pull him up but Pulver kicks him in the head! Pulver springs into the ring and double stomps Daniels' back. Pulver somersaults through and bounces off the ropes, but runs right into a Robb Daniels clothesline! MANDEVILLE NELSON: OOF! And just like that... Robb Daniels halts the brief bit of momentum that Matt Pulver had going for him. 1... ... 2-KICKOUT! Daniels applies a rear chinlock in the centre of the ring and really wrenches it in. The fans start a gradual PULVER chant until the Babyfaced Wrestling Machine starts showing signs of life and then they explode! Pulver gets to his feet and elbows his way out of the hold and hits the ropes. Daniels shuts him right back down with a European uppercut! He grabs the staggered Pulver and slams him into the top turnbuckle not once, but twice! Pulver staggers away and Robb Daniels plays to the crowd to a chorus of boos and turns around right into a single leg dropkick! The fans come unglued once again as Pulver crawls over for the cover! 1... ... 2... KICKOUT! Pulver is shoved off by Daniels, Daniels pulls himself up with the ropes while Pulver lifts himself to his feet in the corner. Daniels walks over and slaps the taste out of his mouth! He falls to the mat and Daniels covers! 1... ... 2... KICKOUT! Daniels argues with Garner about the count briefly and then yanks Pulver to his feet by the hair, whipping him into the corner again. Daniels charges in... BOOT TO THE FACE! Daniels stumbles away along the ropes... Pulver leaps forward and kicks the arm he's been working on. Daniels grabs his bad arm and staggers away, Pulver charges forth with a dropkick! Daniels backs himself into the corner and begs for a timeout, but that is met with a kick to the gut! Pulver grabs Daniels and marches him across the ring to the opposite corner and begins bashing his head off the top turnbuckle! Pulver snapmares Daniels to the mat and applies a headscissors armbar combo. BASTIAN KRULL: That's the Yamashita Special! Daniels refuses to give up when Cordell Garner asks him, and Pulver wrenches the hold in tighter forcing Daniels to kick his feet around to put them over the bottom rope. Daniels gets there and forces Pulver to break the hold, Pulver reluctantly does it - only after the count of four. Daniels rolls out to the apron, Pulver gets to his feet visibly frustrated. He reaches over the ropes and pulls Daniels up, clubbing him with several forearms and then nailing a leaping enzuigiri! Daniels teeters in place and then falls, draped over the top rope. Pulver crawls out, over the bottom rope and onto the apron. He drags himself up the turnbuckles... one at a time until he reaches the top. He stands straight up and soaks in the fan respon--DANIELS YANKS HIM OFF BY THE FOOT! Pulver's feet come right out from underneath him and he smacks the back of his head on the top turnbuckle!
