We first scan the harbor of Yokohama during the evening. The shot then pans to the Ramen Museum and followed by the Nippon Maru Memorial Park. We then got a shot at the Mirai Dome just before going inside. Solomon Bentley and Kai Harrison sit at a table, both men wear dark blue suits.
SOLOMON BENTLEY:
Good evening, everyone and welcome to Day 3 of the World Pro-Wrestling Tournament! In the semifinals we had a barnburner. Makoto Ueno and Masayoshi Arimoto fought to a near 30 minute classic. This was a back-and-forth affair but ultimately Ueno caught Mr. Meiji with his signature Pan Kratos to get the win and move onto the finals!
KAI HARRISON:
These two always put on a great show. They fought during the BATTLE VARIETY Series and Ueno got the best of Arimoto then and showed it tonight as well.
SOLOMON BENTLEY:
In the other semifinal, Takeshi Morimoto and Falcon Hamada fought in an incredible match that went 19 minutes. The MMA legend fought with a merciless streak but eventually the high-powered offense enabled him to storm ack. Morimoto hit Hamada with the Volcanic Buster three times and it wasn’t enough. Let’s show you the end of the match.
SOLOMON BENTLEY:
Oh, we saw it all, Timmy. A classic finish in this venerable tournament. In the finals on Sunday, we’ll have Makoto Ueno versus Takeshi Morimoto. This match will be fought under MMA rules. What's on the line? Victory in the World Pro-Wrestling Tournament as well as becoming the first All-Japan Imperial Champion!
KAI HARRISON:
This tournament is grueling, but the guys will have a few days to rest up. Ueno will have an advantage in MMA, but the youth and high energy of Morimoto cannot be underestimated. If he can keep the fight standing up, he has just a good a chance as anyone to win this thing.
SOLOMON BENTLEY:
We also had A.J. Knight, Matt Pulver, Teddy Davis, and Alexander Irvine in the building. All four Lion's Road fighters were successful in their singles matches!
KAI HARRISON:
Pollobucket is sparing no expense. The World Pro-Wrestling Tournament attracts the best talent and the owners ensure that we have the top fighters in all the land. Shining Road is ichiban, Solomon!
SOLOMON BENTLEY:
Ichiban, indeed my friend. Looking forward to Sunday, it has been announced that we will see both GPWS titles defended. Thunder Mask will make his V3 defense of the Jr. Heavyweight title against “Starboy” Shigeru Toyama and the Krak-n-Mack team will defend against KOSUKE and Sheik Spectre!
KAI HARRISON:
Thunder Mask will have his hands full against Starboy Toyama. He already came off a tough defense against Kaito “Masakari” Matsushita. This will be a challenge! And while the Krak-n-Mack duo have an advantage in sheer mass, KOSUKE and Spectre are tricky veterans in this sport. That’s gonna be a fun match, I can't wait.
SOLOMON BENTLEY:
As a reminder, we will be live from the Mirai Dome on Sunday, August 13, and through POLLOVISION we will be broadcasting the entirety of the Ueno/Morimoto World Pro-Wrestling Tournament finals around the globe! We'll see you on Sunday folks!

Morimoto wears the long white-and-red tights while Hamada wears navy blue and gold MMA half-tights. Morimoto has Hamada on his shoulders in a fireman’s carry and hits the ¾ Neckbreaker!! THE VOLCANIC BUSTER!!! Morimoto has the leg hooked for a pin!

NO!!! KICKOUT BY HAMADA!!
Morimoto looks on in shock as he sits on the canvas. The fans smack the backs of their seats rhythmically as they root on the two competitors.
TIM FLOSS:
My gawd! Hamada just survived a third Volcanic Buster!
ALBERT MORDECAI:
Hamada won’t go down! He’s got a fighter’s heart!
Morimoto picks up Hamada and puts him back on his shoulders.
TIM FLOSS:
He’s going for it a fourth time?!
Instead of completing the move, Morimoto walks to the corner. Slowly he climbs up to the first rung… and then the second rung…
TIM FLOSS:
No… no, he can’t…
ALBERT MORDECAI:
Yes, he will! He’s going for it, Timmy!
Morimoto is wobbly, but steadies himself as he puts one foot on the top turnbuckle. Then he gets the second foot on top and jumps! In the air he spins and hits the TOP ROPE VOLCANIC BUSTER!!!!! Both men are down! Morimoto crawls over for the cover, draping a single lonely arm over top of Hamada.

3!!!!!!!
The bell rings!
TIM FLOSS:
My gawd! My gawd! Morimoto has ended the match with a fourth Volcanic Buster! And this one was from the top rope! He moves onto the finals!
ALBERT MORDECAI:
The fans are going nuts! Solomon and Kai, are you seeing this upstairs?!?!
