Lion's Road 75 does not begin the cheers of the fans or the best commentary in combat sports; it starts with the howl of the wind and then the hooded face of Heritage Heavyweight Champion James Edwards. The Burning Heart, clad in black from head-to-toe, is eerily calm. The wind doesn't make him shiver or his water. It does not do anything; his gaze remains resolute and then breaks into a snarl. The camera pans back to reveal Alexander Irvine entering an alley. It quickly shifts to Edwards with his back against a brick wall before settling on an awkward corner angle that makes the distance between the two men seem like an ocean instead of fifteen or so feet. Neither man speaks. The wind howls again. Irvine sadistically smiles like fate is waving at him. Edwards trance-like state remains unbroken. Each man continues their stoic staring contest, silently daring the other to make the first move. Suddenly a side door creaks open. Bring light invades the alley like the precursors to the arrival of a SWAT team. However, it is not Barrie's Finest that break through the threshold of light, Lion's Road security quickly fill the tight space. Irvine walks off as the security crew usher Edwards into the light and out of the picture. The doors slam and whoever is manning the camera quickly pivots to capture a poster of a roaring lion tacked on the door.
The bell sounds and the World Tag Team Champion locks up with his opponent, Scott Matthews. Buchanan grabs him in a side headlock but Matthews quickly backs him up into the ropes and shoots him off, Buchanan rebounds off the opposing set of ropes. Matthews drops down and forces Buchanan to leap over him, the man formerly known as Tiger Mask Red stops and turns - only to be hip tossed to the mat! Buchanan springs up and eats a body slam! He arches his back in pain, but then gets right back up and delivers a body slam of his own to Matthews! Matthews gets up and looks like he wants to return to the well and try and body slam Eli again, but Saul Asper yells at him. Matthews is momentarily distracted and gets kneed in the gut as Buchanan backs him into the ropes.
SAM HEWITT If you missed it, Eli Buchanan has a new manager. This long-haired fellow on the outside in the suit is Saul Asper - yes, THAT Asper family from Manitoba. I guess they felt they needed to encroach on professional wrestling.
CHAD GOMEZ Is it wrong to explore multiple ventures?
SAM HEWITT Of course not, I can still question the motives though.
Buchanan drags him away from the ropes and knees him again! Matthews falls to the mat holding his abdominal region as Asper applauds his client, Buchanan looks to the crowd and gets a mixed response. Only a few hours from the man's hometown of Guelph, Ontario - he's got a few fans here. Matthews pulls himself up to his feet with the ropes, his back to Buchanan - Buchanan grabs him in a rear waist hold and tries to pull him away from the ropes. Matthews hangs on, so Eli drives a knee into Scott's thigh! Matthews lets go and gets taken for a ride! GERMAN SUPLEX!
He holds it!
1...
...
2...
KICK OUT!
Buchanan grabs Matthews in a front chancery and cranks it on, wrenching the hold in tighter every time that "Hollywood" tries to get up. The fans familiar with his time in Simcoe County Championship Wrestling begin to rally behind him, so that gives him a bit of energy to fight up... Buchanan hangs on as he does so and backs him up into the corner. He drives a knee into his gut again, pulls him out and scoops him up...
NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!
SAM HEWITT Dazed and Confused! Buchanan with the cover!
1...
...
2...
...
3!
SAM HEWITT And that'll do it!
Buchanan rolls off of Matthews and Saul Asper comes into the ring, helps his client to his feet and raises his arm in victory. He gives him a pat on the back then collects Eli's half of the World Tag Team Championship as Buchanan is offered a water bottle from a stage hand. Buchanan takes a swig and hands it to Asper, who takes a drink of it himself... then spits it on Matthews! The stage hands push Asper away, Buchanan grabs his manager unsure of what just happened and guides them out of the ring.

Becky Chande waits backstage near a door with a sign reading "Mandeville Nelson" tacked on it.
Becky Chande: Breaking news, Lion's Road fans, sources that wish to remain anonymous informed me that James Edwards and Pollobucket representative Mandeville Nelson are meeting behind this closed door. They told me that Mr. Nelson is not pleased with the Heritage Heavyweight Champion's attempted back alley brawl with Alexander Irvine earlier tonight.
The door suddenly opens, and a wide-eyed Edwards glances at the camera and then over at Becky. His look of surprise then morphs into one of disdain.
James Edwards: For God's sake, Becky, I thought you were better than this paparazzi bullshit.
Becky's eyes show a flash of irritation, but as always she keeps her composure.
Becky Chande: A woman has to do her job.
Edwards does not respond. He just starts walking. Becky starts after him, her heels clicking in the same manner as a trotting horse, but try as she may the intrepid reporter can't keep up with the Burning Heart. James turns, sees Becky trailing him, and sighs.
James Edwards: Alright, what do you want to know?
Becky takes a moment to catch up with Edwards.
Becky Chande: Were you meeting with Mandeville Nelson?
James Edwards: Yep.
Becky Chande: I take it he wasn't happy about your unscheduled brawl with Alexander Irvine on the night of a title defense?
James Edwards: That is correct.
Becky Chande: Are there going to be any negative repercussions for it?
James Edwards: Nope.
Becky Chande: Really?
James Edwards: I got a warning never to do it again. Mandy is a fair dude. He knows I ain't got much of a history of pulling stunts like that. He said don't do it again and I gave him my word that I won't.
Becky Chande: So why did you try to fight Alexander on the night of such a big match?
Edwards aura takes on a sharp tone.
James Edwards: Unfinished business.
Becky Chande: Do you mean the pull-apart brawl you two had in the catering line last week?
James Edwards: Yep, if the old bastard is so keen on running me down for asking him a question, then I'll give him what he wants, simple as that.
Becky Chande: Speaking of tag team partners, have you had any luck in finding one?
James shakes his head no.
James Edwards: I ain't got the time to worry about that this week with the title fight.
Becky Chande: Fair enough, any final thoughts before I let you go?
James Edwards: Yeah I do. I ain't gotta title fight or any kind of fight next week. The way I see it I'm free to take care of some business so Irvine if you're watching this, find me in the ring next week, and I'll show you what a salad eating fairy can do to an overgrown monkey who still wants to play army man. Have a good one, Becky.
Edwards scoots out of the picture before Chande can even return the favor.

JAKE AARONS Ladies and gentlemen... this Heritage Heavyweight title bout is to be fought over a thirty minute time limit with one fall, one submission or a knockout.
SAM HEWITT Yup, that's right - the LAC passed an amendment that all title bouts in Lion's Road will operate with a thirty minute time limit in place. Great news, if you ask me.
JAKE AARONS Introducing the challenger from Fort Worth, Texas. He weighs in at two hundred and thirty four pounds... "ICONIC" ALAN ENVY!
"Swear it to the Sun" by Voodoo Johnson hits and the former Heritage Heavyweight Champion saunters out from the back. He hops up onto the ring apron and looks around before climbing in, then extending his arms out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.
JAKE AARONS His opponent from Lexington, Kentucky! He weighs in at two hundred and four pounds... the current, reigning and defending Heritage Heavyweight Champion! JAMES "BURNING HEART" EDWARDS!
"Okay."
Strobe lights move with the easy beat of "My Name is Human" by Highly Suspect. James Edwards walks out in his hooded ring jacket, title belt wrapped around his waist. He looks out at the crowd, then moves his hood down with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own.
JAKE AARONS Your referee for this bout is Buster Powell!
As Buster Powell goes over the rules with both men, they stare each other down. The bell sounds and the two are still staring eye to eye, Alan Envy gives Edwards a shove and Burning Heart replies with an open hand slap that would make David Schultz proud. He follows it up with a knee to the midsection and then arm whips Envy, but the former Heritage Champion reverses it on the current Heritage Champ and sends him instead. Edwards rebounds off the ropes, Envy springs off the ropes himself and goes for a lariat - but Edwards ducks and keeps running. He comes off the ropes... DROPKICK BY ALAN ENVY! The Champion crashes to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Envy gets a bit braggadocios inside the ring, which Edwards sees and certainly doesn't appreciate. He grabs Envy's foot and drags him out of the ring! He chucks him into the guardrail then delivers a knee! He goes to whip Envy back toward the ring, but he blocks it - then blasts James Edwards with a forearm shot! He follows it up with an elbow to the back of Edwards' head, doubling him over. Envy grabs him and throws him back inside the ring, he pulls the champion to his feet and clamps on a front chancery... Envy looks around with a smile then hoists him up...
HOLDS IT!
HOLDS IT!
HOLDS IT!
STALLING GORDBUSTER!
Edwards lands hard on his stomach and Envy acts quickly, rolling him over.
1...
...
2...
NO!
Envy calls Powell's count slow before he gets up, yanking Edwards up to his feet with him. He hoists the Heritage Champ up, then pivots... SPINEBUSTER! Edwards arches his back in pain, Envy dusts his hands off and gets to his feet - making a belt motion around his waist. Edwards starts toward the ropes, but Envy cuts him off with a forearm club to the back. He turns Edwards around in the corner and grabs him by the wrist, sending him across into the opposite corner. Envy charges in, but Edwards cracks him with a Yakuza kick on his way! The kick knocks Envy down to a knee, Edwards kicks the left arm of the former Heritage Champion several times. He then grabs it, twists it around and then drives his elbow onto it. Envy falls to the mat and Edwards follows him down, applying a Fujiwara armbar!
CENTRE OF THE RING!
Edwards tries to keep his weight on top of Envy, preventing him from getting to the ropes.
But Envy works in small movements.
And drapes his foot across the bottom rope.
SAM HEWITT Great work by Alan Envy to get to the ropes. The Fujiwara armbar is a dangerous submission hold, able to pop a shoulder out of place in seconds and Envy did just enough to relieve the pressure and work his way toward the ropes little by little.
CHAD GOMEZ Veteran experience, Sambo. Envy's been to the dance a few times, Edwards is good... but he's not even in his prime yet. Still vulnerable to rookie mistakes, native youthful exuberance. Win a few and think you're invincible. You saw how those back to back losses to Cruelty and Cutlass made him feel. Envy's gotta dig in and make those demons rear their ugly head on Edwards.
Edwards pulls Envy up, but the Iconic one drives Edwards into the corner with a shoulder thrust then backs away, Edwards comes staggering out and Envy blasts him with an elbow to the skull. Edwards drops to a knee, but smiles as he comes back up and blocks Envy's second shot and cracks him with one of his own! Envy staggers a bit, Edwards swings for the fences on his second... but Envy ducks!
ROLLING ELBOW!
Both men go crashing to the mat after Envy connects! The fans go wild, Edwards rolls to his side just as Envy does. Iconic gets to his feet before the Burning Heart, but Edwards pushes himself to get up upon seeing Envy standing tall. Edwards gets booted in the gut, backed into the ropes... then whipped out, but he counters it mid-whip and blasts Envy with a superkick! The champion falls to his knees, grabbing the ropes to keep him from falling down to the mat. Envy meanwhile has fallen back into the ropes, keeping him on his feet at least in spirit. He propels himself forward, trying to steady himself.
SAM HEWITT Clear as day that Edwards did that superkick out of desperation because look at Envy, he's still standing - a bit wobbly but if that thing connected as intended, up underneath the chin - he'd be on the mat and Powell would be making a ten count.
CHAD GOMEZ And he'd have his shoes off to do so.
Edwards gets up, Envy stumbles and falls back against the ropes but uses it to spring forward and attack with a lariat...
BUT EDWARDS GRABS THE FUJIWARA ARMBAR AGAIN!
The Burning Heart can't keep his body on top of the right area on Envy, as the challenger keeps himself moving despite having his arm restrained. Edwards then grabs his hand, prying it open and intertwining his fingers with Envy's.... yanking the hand in a direction it was definitely not intended! Envy grunts, then swings his foot.
ROPE BREAK!
Edwards gets up, drags Envy to his feet and clubs him with a couple knees to the chest. Envy tries to fight back with a forearm shot, but Edwards side steps it and locks in the rear naked choke! Envy first attempts to grab a hand and pull it down, but then stretches out his arm and reaches for the ropes. He gets close...
BUT EDWARDS YANKS HIM BACK!
HE LETS GO!
Envy isn't prepared for this and begins falling, but Edwards grabs him and turns him around... FOXFIRE?!
Indeed, he's going for the Fisherman's Brainbuster! Envy grabs Edwards' tights, blocking it from happening. Powell tells him to let go, Envy does but so too does Edwards. He goes for a kick, but Envy catches the kick! Drops it! SPINNING BACK FIST! Edwards falls down onto all fours, Envy grabs him in a rear waist hold... he takes a deep breath, then lifts...
DEAD LIFT
GERMAN
SUPLEX!
HE BRIDGES!
1...
...
2...
...
3!
NO!
ONLY TWO!
Envy shoves Edwards away and gets at Powell, saying it was three.
SAM HEWITT Envy thinks it was three, so did many fans here but as we saw, Powell's hand hit the mat for the three but Edwards' shoulder came up just before it happened. The match continues!
CHAD GOMEZ That's got to be the biggest mind warp, you hear the three get counted... I would imagine your whole mood changes, you think you've won - you're ready to celebrate but then you get up and it's only a two. Man...
Envy turns back and grabs Edwards in a front chancery, he makes a cutthroat motion which can only mean one thing... HOWEVER, Edwards has other ideas! He snaps off a quick Northern Lights suplex, tries to hold it for the bridge but cannot. He rolls away and then climbs on top, making a traditional lateral press.
1...
...
2...
Envy shoves Edwards off and rolls to his side, his back to Edwards. He climbs up onto all fours and grabs the ropes, pulling himself to his feet. He does so successfully and turns to see Edwards on one knee, Envy chuckles and makes his way over...
ROLLING WHEEL KICK - THE POLE SHIFT!
Envy falls back against the ropes again, Edwards rolls onto his side and tries to fight through the pain to get up to his feet. Envy shakes out the cobwebs, advances forward... grabs the Champion in a front chancery again...
EDWARDS YANKS HIS FEET OUT!
Envy hits the mat with a thud.
DOUBLE STOMP!
Edwards hops backwards after connecting, Envy sits up in pa-VIOLENT GOSPEL! THE PENALTY KICK!
1...
...
2...
...
3!
Envy is out, Edwards out on top of him.
SAM HEWITT Look at this scene - two men, a winner and a loser here tonight, both completely exhausted from the battle that just raged on for thirteen minutes or so.
Stage hands and medical people enter the ring, gently separating the two fighters and treating them. Edwards sits up, accepts his title and gets to his feet. Despite all the commotion around him, he notices a particular person standing on the apron applauding sarcastically.
Alexander Irvine.
Edwards lays his title across the mat and invites Irvine in, but the security interjects. Irvine is escorted to the back, while Edwards is asked to pose for a few photos. Edwards appeases a couple photographers then exits the ring, keeping a knee eye on Irvine ahead. Alan Envy sits up and the Barrie fans applaud his effort, but he simply rolls out of the ring and heads to the back. Not acknowledging the reaction at all.

Our bootleg footage of the match opens up with Hammerstein walking down the aisle. There is no music, the video screen isn't even on.
Hammer makes it to the ring, but doesn't get in. He takes a moment to look around, but the sudden pop from the crowd catches Hammerstein's attention and he turns around in the aisle, but AJ Knight is already in the air! Knight knocks Hammer to the ground with a forearm and continues pummelling away on him! Hammer manages to get his palm on AJ's face and then digs his fingers into the eye! AJ reacts and Hammer shoves him off then rolls right on top of his former friend. Hammer uses his left hand to keep AJ in place and measures each right hand shot - connecting against the bridge of AJ's nose! Hammer gets up and drags AJ to his feet. He begins walking backwards, checking back to see if the way is clear, all the while dragging AJ Knight toward the ring. AJ breaks free and attempts to strike, but Hammer knees him in the gut! AJ doubles over and Hammerstein clubs him in the back several times. AJ staggers away, Hammerstein grabs a chair and hoists it high above his head... AJ catches what he's doing out of the corner of his eye and lunges - driving an elbow into the midsection! Hammer bends over in pain, AJ grabs him... JAWBREAKER! Hammerstein drops the chair and falls back against the apron.
Knight picks him up and rolls him inside, Hammerstein crawls to the opposing corner as Knight lays the chair on the apron and slides in. He's tempted to grab the chair, but sees Hammer in a vulnerable position already and decides to make the most of it. Knight charges Hammer just as he situates himself in the corner... but Hammerstein moves, AJ connects with nothing but turnbuckles! He holds steady for a moment, feeling the effects of his sternum going into the 'buckles and tries to calm his breathing. Hammerstein has other ideas though and drives forward... AVALANCHE SPLASH! AJ's sternum is compressed again, this time between the turnbuckles and Hammer's frame. Hammer backs away and AJ collapses to the mat, Hammer raises his arms. Price asks him if he's going to make a cover, but Hammer shakes his head and springs off the ropes...
BIG SP-
NO ONE HOME!
AJ rolls out of the way, Hammer hits the mat hard but is back to his knees quickly. He quickly gets up and grabs AJ, who's using the ropes to pull himself up. Hammer grabs him and chucks him into the same corner he just splashed him, then holds AJ's face in place with his left hand and punches with his right! AJ crumples to the mat and rolls underneath the bottom rope. Hammerstein laughs as he reaches over and pulls the Crusader back up as best he can. Knight is clearly on dream street from that previous shot, but Hammerstein doesn't care one bit - he grabs AJ and hooks him for a suplex. He tries to lift...
AJ's foot has hooked the bottom rope!
Hammerstein looks down and sees the problem, pushes the bottom rope forward with his foot to unhook the leg and goes to try again. Hammerstein gets him halfway up, but AJ's kicks his own legs out wildly and gets sat back down. Hammer tries to drill his midsection with shots, but Knight hits him with a knee to the stomach! He grabs Hammerstein...
AND SUPLEXES HIM OVER THE TOP AND TO THE FLOOR!
Hammer's calves catch the the rail and both men have a rough landing due to the lack of space for such a move to happen! That's not even mentioning the fact that there aren't any mats out there to protect the falls, because you see - the action is supposed to stay in the ring. Price sees that Hammer's shoulders are down under AJ and he counts!

The fans pop, but then the real count begins... Price holds both hands up so everyone can see.

Hammerstein rolls onto his knees and quickly stands up, AJ is resting against the ring apron. Price waves it off and says Hammer got up at eight, so the fight continues. AJ blindsides Hammer with a lariat, knocking him to the ground again. AJ climbs up onto the apron and heaves himself into the ring, he ascends the turnbuckle...
"WHOA DUDE! AJ NEVER GOES UP THERE!" A fan proclaims, but he along with everyone else knows that this isn't an ordinary bout. This is a Texas Death Match and Knight is determined to pull out all the stops in order to defeat Hammerstein. Hammerstein starts to get up, AJ takes a deep breath...
HE LEAPS OFF!
HAMMERSTEIN SEES...

POUNCE!
AJ hits the ground with a sickening thud, Hammerstein laughs as he hooks AJ's leg and covers.

AJ lunges against the guardrail, Hammerstein shoves Price out of the way and returns to the attack, nailing AJ with a double axe handle to his back. He grabs AJ and chucks him inside the ring, Hammerstein rolls in behind him and gets in front of AJ, who attempts to pull himself up Hammer's person. Hammerstein yanks him up and locks on a bear hug, AJ grimaces in pain as Hammer pours on the pressure, tightening his grip around AJ's waist. AJ finally grabs a hand full of hair and then rakes Hammer's eyes, Hammerstein staggers away as AJ falls to a knee trying to recuperate. Hammerstein comes back, tries for a kick but AJ blocks it! AJ kicks Hammer! Hammerstein doubles over, AJ grabs the wrist and the fans pop as he plants him in the mat with the Knightfall DDT! He rolls Hammer onto his back and covers!

Hammer sits up, falls over...
9...
Pushes off the mat, staggers to his feet and catches himself on the ropes. AJ runs over and pulls Hammer away from the ropes, slapping on an abdominal stretch. The fans pop and boo, not quite expecting to see such a move in this match but they soon see why. AJ grabs the top rope and uses the legal leverage to inflict more pain that he could do with the standard hold, but Hammerstein begins inching his way over... closer and closer... AJ's hand is yanked off the top rope as Hammer grabs the adjacent rope. There's no rope breaks to save him though and AJ chuckles as he cranks on the pressure, but Hammerstein... reaches over and grabs the middle rope from the outside, then uses the leverage...
HIP TOSS OVER THE TOP ROPE!
AJ goes flying out to the floor, Hammerstein lands on the apron. Hammer sees the chair that AJ put there earlier and picks it up, he blasts AJ over the back with it several times before slamming to the ground. He grabs AJ and pushes him against the apron, Hammer grabs the chair and hangs it on AJ's head, then traps the arms... Hammerstein smiles sadistically as he begins ramming his own head against the steel chair to bash it into AJ's skull! Chair assisted trapping headbutts! Hammerstein's face is a bloody mess when he stops, and dizzily falls to the ground. AJ lays back against the apron, Price removes the chair from his head and Knight also falls down, bloodied up.
Price can do nothing but sit and wait.
Hammer gets up, cackling and laughing. He roars at Jake Aarons, the only person left at the ringside table and tells him to take off - not in those words, but y'know. Aarons doesn't ask questions, Hammer goes to move the chairs out from the table but Knight cracks him with the steel chair that less than two minutes ago adorned his head. Knight props Hammer on the table and grabs the middle rope, hoisting himself up onto the apron. He begins climbing the turnbuckles, but Hammerstein gets up and chases after AJ. Knight contemplates getting down, but Hammer grabs him by the hair and between punches, climbs further up. Blood is dripping all over the place, Hammer hooks AJ for a suplex and try as he might, Knight fights back. Hammer puts a foot on the top rope, trying to get the higher ground to execute the move...
BUT HE SLIPS!
AJ AND HAMMER GO CRASHING THROUGH THE TABLE!
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Hammer and AJ's landing is cushioned only by a wooden table and judging by the pieces that it's in, it wasn't comfortable by any means.
AJ, the one on top of the hard landing, begins stirring first and goes to sit up.
Falls back down.
He tries again.
Same thing.
AJ sits up once more...
HAMMERSTEIN CLAMPS ON THE PYTHON SLEEPER!
However, in his weakened state, he doesn't have it applied quite right... and AJ grabs the arm wrapped around his neck and pulls it out in front of him, grabbing the injured finger from weeks before... AND SNAPS IT! Hammerstein falls back, roaring in pain. AJ gets up and though dizzy from the blood loss, grabs a steel chair and uses it to prop himself up. He lines up Hammerstein and swings for the fences... BUT GUARDRAIL IS ALL HE GETS! AJ turns around and Hammerstein throws a steel chair at his face! AJ drops to a knee and staggers to the apron, trying to climb up. Hammerstein gets up there and pulls him up...
He hooks him.
HOISTS HIM.
HAMMERSTEINER ON THE APRON!
Vertical suplex piledriver on the hardest part of the ring! AJ is out! Hammerstein has to climb through the ropes into the ring to properly line himself up to pin AJ and the three count is academic. Hammerstein backs up at Price's command and the referee begins counting.

AJ rolls off the apron and lands on his feet, long enough for Price to wave the count off. AJ falls down, Hammerstein begins yelling at Price, pointing to AJ being down and out on the floor. Price maintains he beat the count though. Hammerstein shoves Price and sticks his head out to gra--
CHAIR SHOT!
Hammerstein seen it coming, but clearly did not get his head all the way in as he falls to the mat in a daze, but most the shot was absorbed by the ropes. AJ throws the chair in the ring and pulls himself inside, Hammerstein tries to get up and grab the chair but AJ drops his body on top of it so he can't. Hammerstein laughs and says something to AJ, then pulls him to his feet. He lines up with the chair on the mat and hoists AJ up...
AJ SLIPS OUT!
He shoves Hammerstein into the corner, causing him to hit sternum first. Hammerstein slumps against it, bleeding all over the turnbuckle. AJ grabs the chair and begins unloading shot after shot across Hammerstein's back, Knight begins slowing down... having winded himself and stops, propping the chair up as he doubles over to regain his breath.
BUT HE CONTINUES ONCE MORE!
Hammerstein's back is turning all sorts of colours as the chair's shape makes it very clear it'll never be used for sitting again. AJ drops the chair finally and grabs Hammerstein, letting him fall backwards to the mat. AJ looks down at his former friend, maybe having some sympathy... Hammerstein weakly raises his hand, Knight is a bit emotional at this point. Hammerstein turns his hand around...

AJ grabs the arm, yanks Hammerstein up...

AJ WINS! AJ WINS! AJ WINS!
His enjoyment lasts a few seconds before he falls backwards. Medical staff flood the ring immediately and attend to both men, the fans still in a roar over the intense brawl. AJ is taken out of the ring and helped to the back. More medics and a stretcher pass them in the aisle and they prop it up next to the ring, the medical staff work at securing Hammerstein and then move him onto the stretcher. Hammerstein begins putting up a fight, demanding to be set free. The medical staff try and restrain him, but are interrupted by Eli Buchanan. Hammerstein stops upon seeing his brother in law and the two have a long stare down. Buchanan grabs Hammerstein, yanking him off the stretcher and holds him up. He looks to the crowd, a crooked smile on his face... the medical staff urging him to stop. The fans are mixed about the idea...
Buchanan looks at Hammerstein's bloody face.
HE HUGS HIM!
Again, there is a mixed reaction to this. Hammerstein tries to return the hug but is too weak to do so, Buchanan helps the medics put him back on the stretcher as the show closes.
