We open with clips from last week’s main event, Eli Buchanan hits the Chaos Driver on Agent B and is about to pin him, when “Iron” Mack Brody attacks him and hits the Iron Cross.
We go to our announcing team, Greg Stradford and “Big Bad” Paul Carlyle wish all of us a Happy New Year and welcome us to “PWGP: Charge”, now on it’s new Sunday time slot, as we go live from the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota. The announcers point out the steel cage hanging above the ring and we’re reminded that Eli Buchanan will face Kraken in a cage match in tonight’s main event. We go straight to the ring for our opening contest as ring announcer, Nick Christoulos introduces the combatants
MATCH 1
“Iron” Mack Brody (w/ Saul Asper) (0 points)
vs
“High Five” Jimmy Jive (0 points)
The crowd immediately gets on Asper’s case by chanting “Ass-per”. The manager does his best to ignore them as he gives his latest client instructions. As soon as the bell rings, Brody tries to attack Jive, but the wily vet sidesteps the assault and answers with a series of punches. Jive winds up, playing to the crowd, and goes for a huge haymaker, but Brody recovers and lariat clothesline’s Jive nearly out of his boots. From here on out the rest of the match is almost completely Brody, as he pounds his opponent into the ground with his rough house tactics. He delivers the Iron Cross and is about to hit a second, when a towel is thrown into the ring. Outside the ring we spot James Daniels, Jive’s estranged son, looking frustrated. The announcers state it was him who threw in the towel. Referee Andrew Roller calls for the bell and awards the match to Brody.
Winner: (via corner stoppage) “Iron” Mack Brody (1 point)
After the match, Saul Asper gets in the ring and cuts a promo, formally welcoming Brody to Asper’s Army. He brags how he’s been one step a head of Buck U Athletic Commission’s representative, Robert Fredrick, since day one and last week was no exception. He goes on to state that later in tonight’s main event, Kraken will put Eli Buchanan out of his misery once and for all, and will go on to next Sunday’s Lethal Lottery at “Battle Bowl” to become the first ever PWGP Global Champion.
Robert Fredrick appears on the big screen and congratulates Brody on his victory. He reminds everyone of the implications tonight’s cage match main event; if Eli Buchanan wins, he will be one of the twenty participants next week’s Lethal Lottery and all members of Asper’s Army will be out of the event. He then announces that the match between Buchanan and Kraken, all other members of the active roster will be banned from ringside and the members of Asper’s Army, Saul included, are to be removed from the building immediately.
As the crowd cheers, a large group of security arrives and requests that Brody and Asper come with them. Brody looks ready for a fight, but Fredrick warns that if he, or any other member of Asper’s Army, lies a hand on security, they will be suspended indefinitely. Asper begs Brody to do nothing rash and they’re escorted out of the arena. as we follow them to the back, we see the Agents of Pain and True North Ant have already been rounded up and the whole group and removed from the building, much to the delight of the Fargo crowd.
The last image we see before we go to break is Asper yelling encouragement in French to Kraken, who looks thoroughly confused by what’s happened.
***
We return from break to find “High Five” Jimmy Jive confronting James Daniels and questioning why he’s been interfering in his matches for weeks. Daniels responds by calling his father a disgrace and calls his entire career a joke. He’s tired of his father embarrassing the family name and announces that he just signed a PWGP contract and states next week at “Battle Bowl” he’ll do something his worthless father never could do, become a singles champion.
Daniels walks away, leaving Jive looking upset, as we return to ringside. Stradford states he feels bad for Jive, but Carlyle calls Jive a terrible father and states you would never hear one of his daughters speak to him like that.
MATCH 2
3 Way Dance Tag Team Match
Things Uno & Dos
vs
Moondogs Buster & Runt
vs
Surf ‘n Turf (Vod & Zaros)
Right at the bell the Things and Moondogs all gang up on Surf ‘N Turf. The sea monster and the goblin tried to fight off the four on two assault, but were quickly over. Vod was tossed out of the ring and all four men dog-plied, no pun intended, on top of Zaros for the pin fall, eliminating Surf ‘n Turf from the match.
With the rookie team, who has been a pain in their side for the last few weeks gone, the temporary alliance between to two remaining teams is over. The Moondogs attack Things Uno and Dos from behind as they’re waving to Surf ‘n Turf. Thing Dos is thrown out of the ring and Uno is isolated in the Moondogs’ corner, where the two residents of Parts Unknown work him over. The Moondogs use their combination of Buster’s power moves and Runt’s unorthodox tactics to wear Thing Uno down.
The tide turns when Runt goes for a running battering ram headbutt and Uno manages to get out of the way, causing the smaller Moondog to hit his partner instead. Uno manages to make the tag to Dos, who is a house of fire, taking a dazed Runt down with a spin heel kick. Dos rocks both the Moondogs with a series of hip tosses followed by dropkicks. He tags Uno back in and the pair hit Buster with a double suplex, right on Runt. They go to set up Runt for a top rope Sunset Flip, but Buster breaks it up, knocking Dos off the top rope, to the arena floor. Runt finally hits his running headbutt on Uno, which allows Buster to hit a running power slam. Runt goes to the top rope and hits a double stomp on Uno and get the three count.
Winners: The Moondogs
We go to a replay of the action as the Moondogs celebrate. On stage The Guru appears, applauding his two clients. They quickly go join him while Thing Dos comes into the ring to check on his partner. The Guru holds up the Moondogs hands as we go to break.
***
Back from break we find Surf ‘n Turf licking their wounds and complaining how unfair that match was. The bald-headed man with the mop and bucket shows up and warns them that if “you live by the sword, you die by the sword”. The tell him they only got involved with The Things and Moondogs because he told them to make themselves an opportunity. The man shrugged and asked them why they were taking advise from a dude carrying around a mop. He then excused himself because he heard someone puking, leaving Zaros and Vod grumbling.
Somewhere else in the back, The Guru congratulating the Moondogs on their victory and telling someone off camera that their strategy worked. The camera pans around to a masked man in a three piece suit. He tells his “boss” of course the plan worked, he’s The Technician, the greatest professional wrestler in the world, and next week he’s going to bring home the PWGP Global Title home to The Guru and G3.
Back at ringside, the commentators discuss how The Guru has found himself an incredible talent, putting over how much they’ve heard about his wrestling prowess.
MATCH 3
Takeshi Morimoto (0 points)
vs
The Unknown 1
The announcers point out that Takeshi is another talent brought over from PWGP’s sister organisation, BATTLE Japan to compete in next week’s Lethal Lottery at “Battle Bowl”. The match doesn’t take long as the nephew of the legendary Keiji Morimoto, catches The Unknown 1 with a judo throw right off the bell. He drags the masked man into the corner and hits a series of knife edge chops and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. A mafia kick and Double Arm DDT later and the match is over. The announcers put over this dominate performance and question whether we’re looking at the first ever PWGP Global Champion.
Winner: Takeshi Morimoto (1 point)
The announcers tell us that after the break we’ll see Faititili defend his Television Title after Mexican sensation, Cielo Guerrera.
***
Back from break we catch Eli Buchanan being checked out by a trainer and having his shoulder wrapped. The trainer advises him not to compete tonight, stating he’s still not one hundred percent after the beating he took from The Agents of Pain and Mack Brody last week. Eli shakes his head and reminds the trainer he needs to win this match so he can get back into the Lethal Lottery.
Takeshi Morimoto enters the room. He and Eli share a intense stare down for a moment before smiling and offering each other a hug. The two have a quick conversation in Japanese before Takeshi wishes him good luck in English. He leaves the room, allowing the trainer to finish wrapping Eli’s shoulder.
Back at ringside, Stardford tells us that Eli and Takeshi have known each other for years and considers themselves brothers and wonders what would happen if these two compete against each other next week. Paul Carlyle states it won’t happen because there’s no way Eli will beat Kraken with a bad shoulder tonight.
MATCH 4
PWGP Television Match
Faititili (c) (6 points)
vs
Cielo Guerrera (2 points)
The two men shake hands before the match. It gets off to a quick start with Guerrera trying to keep the pace quick, with a series of arm drags and head scissor take overs. Faititili tried to go move for move with his luchadore opponent, but soon found himself sliding out of the ring. Guerrera would try to go for a tope suicida, but Faititili managed to get out of the way, only for the luchadore to stop at the last minute and hit a springboard plancha instead.
Getting back into the ring Guerrera used some of his submission skills to attempt to put Faititili away. Faititili was able to battle back and using a series headbutts took the advantage back. He went for a pin after a super kick but only got a two count. This would lead to series of back and forth pin fall attempts from both men.
As the time limit drew to a close, both men picked the pace back up. Guerrera would miss a plancha, only for Faititili to hit one of his own. Both men would roll back onto the ring and continue going back in forth. the time limit expires with a stalemate between the two of them and referee Jose Doe declares the match a draw.
TIME LIMIT DRAW
Both men shake hands following the match and Guerrera raises Faititili’s arm. The announcers wonder how things will go for these two men next week at “Battle Bowl” and who will be the next person to challenge for the Televison Title, before sending us to break.

The cage is slowly being lowered down on the ring as we return from break. The announcers once again put over the importance of this match. Kraken is walking into this match with the right to pick his own tag team partner in next week’s Lethal Lottery at “Battle Bowl” and was responsible for Eli Buchanan currently not being apart of that tournament because of a win back on the debut episode of “Charge”. If Eli wins this match though, not only will he be back in the Lethal Lottery but Kraken and all the members of Asper’s Army will be removed from the Lethal Lottery. Carlyle points out that Eli is walking into this match with an injured shoulder and if he didn’t think Eli stood a chance already, there was no way he was going to beat the French Colossus with an injury.
Both men make their way down to the ring and the commentators point out how odd it feels to see Kraken coming out by himself, pointing out how Asper and all the other members of his Army were kicked out of the arena at the beginning of the night.
The announcers tell us we have to go to one last commercial break before the main event begins.

MATCH 5
Cage Match
Eli Buchanan (2 points)
vs
Kraken (1 point)
Before the match begins Nick Christoulos informs the crowd that the only ways to win this match are by pinfall, submission or escaping the ring. Right off the bell Kraken attacks Eli, flattening him on the corner with a avalanche splash and starts firing a series of body blows. Eli tries to fight back with a few knife edge chops and tries to hit a belly-to-belly suplex, but his shoulder gives out and he isn’t able to lift the big man. Stradford points out if Buchanan isn’t able to hit suplexes, it takes away a large portion of his offence.
Realising this as well, Eli goes back to the striking game with a series of forearm shots. He goes for a running lariat clothesline but is flattened by a shoulder tackle by Kraken that sends Eli flying into the cage. The French Colossus hits a running knee shot and pushing Eli into the ropes, hits several more body blows before grabbing his opponent and launching him across the ring into the far side of the cage. Stradford wonders how much of this Eli will be able to take, while Carlyle blames this all on Robert Fredrick, who seems more concerned with outsmarting Asper’s Army than the welfare of his wrestlers.
Eli attempts to get back into the match, ducking a clothesline. He grabs Kraken with a reverse waist lock and tries for a German suplex but his shoulder once again gives out on him, allowing Kraken to hit a stiff elbow shot and a standing clothesline. From this point on it’s all Kraken for the next several minutes, throwing him around the ring and ramming his shoulder into the cage and ring posts. It gets to the point where the commentators question whether Andrew Roller should step in and end the match for Eli’s own good.
Kraken decides to put Eli away with a leg trap choke slam and out of sheer desperation, Eli rakes his eyes. With the big man temporarily blinded, Eli hits a Boyame knee strike to Kraken’s chest, which brings Kraken to one knee. Eli hits a second Boyame and goes for the pin, but Kraken only gets a two count.
Eli looks shocked at what’s just happened. He begs with Roller that was three but the referee assures him it was only two. Eli charges in for another Boyamen, but Kraken catches him coming in, grabbing him by the throat. Eli counters, going for a triangle choke. It appears he’s got it locked in but Kraken’s just two big and he lifts Eli straight up and hits a colossal choke slam.
Shaking his head to clear the cobwebs, Kraken places his foot on Eli’s chest for the pinfall, but Eli manages to kick out at two. Shaking his head, Kraken picks Eli up and sets up for another choke slam, but Eli suddenly grabs him around the waist and hits a a over head belly-to-belly suplex. The crowd pops for the move, but it’s obvious it took too much out of him, as he lies on the mat grasping his shoulder in pain. He looks over and sees that Kraken isn’t moving and he starts crawling towards the door to escape the cage. He’s almost at the door, when Kraken gets up and grabs him by the foot and pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Eli manages to kick away from Kraken’s grip and getting up, rushing in with a lariat clothesline, rocking the big man. He goes for a second lariat, but Kraken catches him by the throat and hits a leg trap choke slam. Not satisfied, Kraken picks him back up and hits a second one
The crowd boos loudly as Kraken stands over Eli Buchanan. The big man puts a foot on Eli’s chest, but quickly changes his mind. taking his foot off Eli’s chest, Kraken makes his way to the door. Despite all the pain he’s in, Eli rolls to his chest and starts crawling after Kraken. The big man reaches the door just as Eli grabs him by the ankle. Looking down at him, with a smug look on his face, Kraken kicks Eli in the face, causing him to release his hold, and walks out of the cage.
Winner: Kraken (2 points)
The crowd looks on in shock as Kraken’s feet touch the arena floor and has his hand raised in victory. Without saying a single word, the French Colossus walks out of the arena, stopping only to laugh at a frustrated Robert Fredrick and goes out the back door, where he’s greeted by the rest of Asper’s Army.
“Charge” goes off the air with one last image of Eli sitting in the middle of the ring, while the cage is slowly raised up, a disheartened look upon his face, while trainer check him over.
