SAM HEWITT From the 416! Toronto, Ontario! Hello fans and welcome to the Second Anniversary Spectacular of Lion's Road! I'm Sam Hewitt alongside Brian Shelzi and Brian, there's a great card lined up here tonight. Two title matches, two first time ever showdowns, a Texas Death Match and a match to determine a future challenger for the King of Lions title. It's a great, action packed evening so let's no waste no time and head straight to the ring...BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, this opening singles bout is to be fought over a fifteen minute time limit with one fall, one submission or a knockout!"Tired" by Stone Sour hits and the crowd begins booing as Justin Seville walks out. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Raleigh, North Carolina! He weighs in at two hundred and twenty four pounds... "SERIOUS" JUSTIN SEVILLE! Seville smirks as the boos get louder. He asks the camera if it likes his shirt, panning down to show it - "The REAL ace of Lion's Road". Seville removes the shirt and sticks it under the turnbuckle before he climbs up, wipes his feet on the apron and climbs inside. The instrumental version of Nelly's "Heart of a Champion" hits and the crowd comes to life! BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Bloomington, Minnesota by way of Leksand, Sweden! He weighs in at one hundred and eighty five pounds... "THE MAT WRESTLING MACHINE" MATT PULVER!The Swede explodes out of the back, raising his arms to soak in the cheers. He has no such gimmick t-shirts, he's all business! He jogs down the aisle, taking the time to slap some hands and sign a few autographs before he climbs up onto the apron, ascending the turnbuckles and drops into the ring. BRADY ROSSEN Your referee for this bout is Xavier Price! The bell sounds to begin our opening bout and both Matt Pulver and Justin Seville are hesitant out of the gate. The two men circle around, Pulver mindful of the forty pound weight difference as he locks up. He tries to slip behind, but Seville drops to his knees and executes a standing switch to get behind Pulver. Seville grabs a double chickenwing on Pulver then straightens out both the arms and brings his knee up to Pulver's lower back, forcing the Swedish sensation down to his knees. Seville readjusts his grip before bringing the knee up higher, applying even more pressure on the arms, head and the neck. Pulver tries to get up, rocking Seville off balance and causes him to abandon the knee to the back. Pulver takes full advantage of that and despite having his arms restrained, he flips forward and lands on his back. He brings his feet up and kicks Seville in the face, sending him backwards and breaking himself free! Pulver rolls to his knees as Seville recovers and we find ourselves at a stand off as the crowd applauds the escape. SAM HEWITT A crafty escape by the Mat Wrestling Machine! Pulver holds his back as the two men circle again before engaging in the second collar and elbow tie-up of the match. Pulver manages to snag a side headlock, but Seville immediately tries to counter it into a top wrist lock. Pulver fights it as best he can, but in doing so leaves himself vulnerable and Seville yanks him down across his knee back first! Pulver yelps in pain, but Seville clamps on an overarm lock after his opponent falls to the mat. Seville pulls him up quickly, then brings him back down across the knee causing Pulver to say a few words not suitable for television in frustration and definite pain. Seville spends the next thirty seconds or so tightening his grip on the arm lock to apply pressure, but Pulver kips up! However, he finds himself in the same hold despite being back up on a vertical base. Seville grunts as he cranks up the pressure, Pulver drops to a knee wincing but pops back up and tries to hip toss Seville. He doesn't have the power to pull it off, but he does manage to force Seville to change his stance a bit and leave himself open for a front chancery! Pulver tries to use Seville's own hold against him to snap off a half-hatch suplex... but Seville pulls himself free and drags Pulver back down to the mat. BRIAN SHELZI No such crafty escapes there, Sammy. We always talk up how great of a technician Matt Pulver is, but Justin Seville is world class in his own right. Seville turns from the arm lock and hangs onto the wrist as he stands up, then proceeds to drop an elbow onto it. Pulver's face scrunches up in pain as the cameras zoom in on him, Seville gets up and drags Pulver to his feet with him before dropping back to the mat, bringing Pulver down with him in an arm drag. Seville clamps on the overarm lock again as Pulver tries to kip up, but cannot do so under the pressure of Seville's weight. Finally his manuevering allows him to get up after Seville's position changes, Pulver pushes Seville backwards into the ropes and tries to whip him out but Seville holds on and knees Pulver in the gut. With Pulver doubled over, the Serious One bounces off the ropes... DROPKICK TO THE KNEE FROM PULVER! Seville falls face first to the mat, Pulver grabs an arm... LA MAGISTRAL! 1... ... 2... ... 3-NO! SAM HEWITT So close! We mentioned Pulver's skill in the technical wrestling department, but he has a spectacular proficiency with flash pins.BRIAN SHELZI Pulver can trap the best of them, sure, but the important thing here is that Justin Seville kicked out. He's got one loss to Pulver in singles competition already, he's going to do his damndest to ensure he evens this up. Pulver grabs Seville up as he's attempting to get back on his feet, then leaps onto shoulders... VICTORY ROLL! 1... ... 2... ... 3-NO! Pulver is not wavered by the kick out and gets right back up, clamping a front chancery on his opponent. Seville begins pushing forward so Pulver switches to a butterfly lock and tries to drag him away from the ropes, Seville though wisely grabs onto the bottom rope with his feet to break up the suplex attempt. Pulver breaks clean and backs off, Seville takes his time getting back up to his feet before the two lock-up once more. Pulver manages a side headlock, but Seville tries to push him back into the ropes. Pulver prevents this with a knee to the gut, breaking his own hold but also breaking the push movement. With Seville doubled over, Pulver drives a 12-6 elbow into the back of his neck. Seville drops to a knee, Pulver pushes him back into the corner and nails a forearm smash, then another... then another! He snapmares Seville out of the corner and follows up with a double stomp! He covers! 1... ... 2... NO! Pulver tries to stay on the attack but eats a shot to the gut on his way back up to the vertical base, Seville follows up with a forearm smash that staggers the Swede into the ropes. AND HE ROARS BACK WITH A FOREARM OF HIS OWN! SAM HEWITT A lot of force behind that one! Seville falls back into the ropes, Pulver tries to charge in but gets a boot to the gut and drops to his knee. Two 12-6 elbows to the back sends him down to all fours, Seville yanks him up by the neck and knee lifts him! Pulver falls against the ropes chest first, arms draped over. Seville pulls him off and hooks him up... and slams down with a vertical suplex! He floats over, looking as though he's going to go for a pin but instead gets up to his feet and drops an elbow down! 1... ... 2... ... NO! Seville shakes his head and gets up, calling for the end. He pulls Pulver into position for the piledriver and goes to lift, but Pulver fights it! Seville sits him back down... PULVER BACK DROPS HIM! DROPS DOWN TO HIS KNEES! REACHES BACK AND GRABS SEVILLE'S LEGS! RANA PIN! 1... ... 2... ... 3-NO! SAM HEWITT Another kickout! We're seeing just how much a shot at the King of Lions means to these two men! BRIAN SHELZI Title shots don't come along all that often, especially a shot at the World's Heavyweight title so you best believe these two men brought their A games. I've been around the sport for a long time, Sammy and these men exemplify the kind of heart and attitude you NEED just to be able to challenge for that belt. Pulver is going through his repertoire of flash pins and Seville is finding ways to stay alive. He could've ended it with the piledriver, but Pulver knew if that hit it was night-night for him. Great awareness.Pulver gets up and charges Seville again, leaping over... SUNSET FLIP! Seville holds his arms out, trying to prevent himself from falling backwards. Seville steadies himself and goes straight down, trying to drop his weight on Pulver with a hip press but Pulver moves out of the way and Seville lands hard on his ass! Pulver grabs his arms and crosses them over, he sticks his leg through... ROLLS FORWARD! VICTORY ROLL! INTO A DELFIN CLUTCH! IT'S THE MATT TRAP! 1... ... 2... ... 3! The place roars as Pulver scores the three, he gets up and leaps onto the turnbuckles to raise his arms up! Seville sits up, arguing with Price about something. He gets up and grabs Pulver by his body suit, yanking him off the ropes and to the mat. Price intervenes as Pulver storms to his feet, pissed off about his thunder being stolen. Stage hands and other assorted geeks pile in to separate the two parties. SAM HEWITT Matt Pulver picks up the win and secures himself a future shot at the King of Lions Championship. As you can plainly see, Justin Seville is not too happy about it. BRIAN SHELZI He has great reason to be unhappy. He just lost a shot because of shenanigans! Bring up a replay, guys.

BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, this singles bout is to be fought over a fifteen minute with one fall, one submission or a knockout to decide the winner! Hammerstein's shot at the Seattle Pro Heavyweight title is up for grabs!A cheer from the crowd. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Knoxville, Tennessee! He weighs in at two hundred and thirty five pounds! He is the HEADLINER! ROBB DANIELS!Daniels raises his arms and adjusts his attire. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Los Angeles, California! He weighs in at two hundred and forty five pounds! The American Monster! HAMMERSTEIN!Hammerstein leans back against the turnbuckles. BRADY ROSSEN Your referee for this bout is Xavier Price! The bell sounds and Jacob Hammerstein and Robb Daniels meet in the center of the ring, exchanging fists. Hammerstein uses his weight advantage to bully Daniels into the ropes. The American Monster Irish whips Daniels across the ring. As Robb rebounds off the ropes, he ducks a clothesline attempt, hits the ropes, then ducks another clothesline. Daniels builds a big head of steam as he charges off the ropes, but Hammerstein picks him up and slams him, face first, to the mat. The former Lion's Road Tag Champion stands over Daniels then takes his back and pulls his head back by the chin. Hammerstein unleashes a flurry of brutal crossface forearm smashes to Robb’s face. When he’s satisfied with his handiwork, he slams Daniels’ face in the mat. Saliva flies from the mouth of Daniels when his head bounces off the mat. Angrily he rolls over onto his back and catches the foot of Hammerstein as he’s looking to stomp him while on the mat. Daniels pushes upward on the leg of Hammerstein tripping him into the mat. Daniels sits up and lunges on top of Hammerstein with side mounted punches with one right after the other. Daniels even reaches down to bite the forehead of Hammerstein. BRIAN SHELZI Look at this! Aren't you glad Mandeville Nelson isn't like that?! SAM HEWITT Very.
Xavier Price separates Daniels and warns him about the rules. Daniels walks back over and pulls Hammerstein up by the head and he head buts him for good measure. Hammerstein is reeling but Daniels picks him up and lands a quick atomic drop. Hammerstein falls over to his side as Daniels kicks Hammerstein in the back repeatedly. Daniels takes a knee behind Hammerstein and pulls back with a reverse chin lock. He moves his hands around to where he’s pulling Hammerstein’s mouth open with both hands from the top and bottom. Daniels stands and kicks Hammerstein in the back. He falls backwards and Daniels ignores the pinning opportunity to continue inflicting pain on his opponent. Daniels lifts Hammerstein up with his head tucked under his arm tightly. He pushes Hammerstein against the ropes and then whips him across the ring but Hammerstein reverses and instead whips Daniels across the ring and follows him in with a vicious corner clothesline. SAM HEWITT Ooof! A lot of momentum behind that shot! BRIAN SHELZI And here he goes again!He grabs Robb’s wrist and whips him across the ring. As he charges in, Daniels moves out of the way, partially collapsing against the ropes. Hammerstein catches himself before he hits the corner, runs the ropes, and clotheslines him over the top rope, with his momentum carrying himself over as well. The American Monster climbs onto the ring apron and, as Daniels gets to his feet, hits a running somersault senton, driving his boss into the ring barricade. Daniels rolls around in pain holding to his back and wincing in pain. Hammerstein looks to pick him up but Daniels wraps him up and drives him into the ring apron. Daniels grabs Hammerstein by the back of the neck and begins throws fists to the forehead of Hammerstein and follows with an eye rake. Price begins the count as Daniels tosses Hammer under the bottom rope and he follows him inside the ring. Daniels grabs Hammerstein by the leg and pulls him over into the center of the ring before bouncing off the ropes and nailing a running knee drop onto Hammerstein. Daniels favors the knee slightly before standing up, rolling down the knee pad and dropping another knee onto him. Daniels stands and pulls his knee pad back up and adjusts it. He is laser focused and lifts Hammerstein up and pulls him head first under his arm and looks for a suplex. He struggled picking Hammerstein up but then holds him to where Hammer knees him causing Daniels to let him back down. BRIAN SHELZI The best counter to a suplex besides not letting yourself get suplexed, is to knee 'em in the head. Hammerstein kicks Daniels in the stomach and picks him up for a vertical suplex, but drops him abdomen-first across the top rope, near the corner. Hammerstein hits the ropes then comes in with a running knee strike that flips Daniels over the rope into the corner. Hammerstein sees the opportunity, runs to the opposite corner then crushes Daniels with The Cannonball. Hammerstein grabs the foot and pulls him back into the center of the ring and hooks the leg for 1... 2... NO! Hammerstein slaps the mat and lifts Daniels head us then sidekicks his head back down to the mat. Hammerstein leaps on top of him hooking the leg for 1... 2... NO! Hammerstein pleads with Price that it surely was a three count, which earns him a "WOW DUDE!" and the Toronto crowd laughs. Meanwhile Daniels is reaching for and grabbing the second rope using it to pull himself up. He stalking Hammer from behind and as he turns Daniels levels him with a clothesline from hell nearly decapitating Hammerstein. Daniels begins mounted punches on him immediately after until the referee intervened after a four count. Daniels backs away with his hands up. Hammerstein slams a balled up fist against the mat before rolling over with the official separating him from Daniels momentarily. Daniels sidesteps the official and whips Hammerstein against the ropes, but before he can mount any offense, Hammerstein bowls him over with a running STO. The American Monster pulls Daniels to a kneeling position, then stands behind him, pulling his head back by the hair. Hammerstein starts punching Robb along the brow line and he begins to bleed after being busted open. BRIAN SHELZI Hammer is living every man's dream right now! He's beating his boss' ass! Hammerstein turns staring at the blood on his hands and then he wipes the right hand across his chest from left to right while Price has Daniels backed into his corner. He looks as if he’s about to call the match but Daniels grabs him by the shirt and begs him not to. He pushes Price away, saving him from being Stinger splashed! Daniels moves and Hammerstein stops his momentum grabbing the ropes as he’s coming in quickly on the empty corner turnbuckles. He turns and as Daniels is wiping his face he looks for a bicycle kick that is caught by Daniels! He drops his foot and kicks Hammerstein in the stomach turns and drops him! SAM HEWITT Picture Perfect Stunner! Both men are down! That's the move that won Daniels the King of Lions title back in June 2016. Can it get the win here tonight?Daniels is bleeding profusely while Hammerstein is out from Daniels signature maneuver. He begins to crawl over and lays back onto Hammerstein and hooks the leg... 1... ... 2... ... 3! NO! ONLY TWO! Daniels rolls over onto his stomach as Hammerstein just kicks out just in time. Price begins to count as both men are down. Nearing the count of seven Hammerstein and Daniels are both making it to there feet and at this point Hammerstein has as much of Daniels’ blood on him as Daniels does. The two men meet with dueling fists in the center of the ring. They begin beating each other in the head with opposite hands simultaneously until Hammerstein ducks a punch moving behind Daniels and wrapping him up, and takes him over with a German Hammerplex. Hammerstein rolls over, still holding Daniels around the waist, and takes him over with another German Hammerplex. The American Monster hits two more rolling Hammerplexes before pulling Daniels up, locking in the Full Nelson, and hitting a Sitout Full Nelson Powerbomb. Hammerstein transitions into a rear naked choke, then figure fours his legs around Daniels’ midsection, completing the Python Sleeper. Daniels fights to escape, but Hammerstein tightens the grip. Daniels begins to fade and soon goes slack. Price checks his arm once, then calls for the bell, ending the match. SAM HEWITT Wow! Hammerstein solidifies his claim to the Seattle Pro title shot in dominating fashi--hang on, now. Hammerstein releases the hold, only after Price threatens to reverse the decision. SAM HEWITT Almost spoke too soon. Hammerstein rolls over to his knees, then to his feet, still acting like he wants to attack Daniels further. BRIAN SHELZI Easy, Hammer. You proved your point, don't let it get in the way of future success!Price backs him up and Hammerstein laughs as he exits the ring, letting the medics attend to him as we go to break.

BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, this Heritage Heavyweight title bout is a four corner survival to be fought over a twenty minute time limit with three falls, three submissions or a knockout to determine a new champion! Introducing first..."CMND/CTRL" by the Deftones roars over the PA system and the man known as Bam Markham storms out from the back. He walks down the aisle, purpose in each step. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Boulder, Colorado! He weighs in at two hundred and eighty pounds! "THE BULL FROM BOULDER" BAM MARKHAM!Markham snatches his arm away from a fan who tries to grab him and chews him out for it, which of course draws the ire of the Toronto crowd. He then chuckles as he ditches his Markham gym t-shirt and jumps up into the ring. "Closer" by Asking Alexandria hits to signify the arrival of the next participant. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Juneau, Alaska! He weighs in at two hundred and eighty six pounds! "JUNEAU" PAT CROSS! Upon Rossen announcing his name, Cross emerges from the back and raises his first in the air before pounding his chest twice. He charges the ring, catching Markham off guard. The Bull from Boulder stands his ground though, eyeing Cross as he leaps onto the middle rope and raises his arms for the crowd. "Revolver Junkies" by Thee Michelle Gun Elephant and its reggae inspired guitar take over the PA system. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Blackwood, New Jersey! He weighs in at two hundred and two pounds! "DYNAMITE" DAVID TROY!Troy walks out and does his wai kru dance, paying his respect to the men who trained him. He jogs down the aisle to the ring, slapping hands with fans before getting into the ring. There's a brief silence and the lights go down. The fans get loud as the eighties sound of "Panic" by the Smiths begins. Ben Chrenshaw saunters out with his signature smirk across his face. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of London, England! He weighs in at two hundred and thirteen pounds! "THE CRIPPLER" BEN CHRENSHAW!Chrenshaw eyes the ring and the three formidable opponents that await him. BRADY ROSSEN Your referee for this bout is Buster Powell!Powell acknowledges the fans as Chrenshaw stands on the outside, looking in. The brute of a referee holds up the plum of regional prizes, the Heritage strap for all the fans to see and shows the four fighters what they're competing for. Each giving a longing nod as they gaze upon it. BRIAN SHELZI Say what you will about size and veteran experience, Sammy, but Ben Chrenshaw knows all about being the Heritage Heavyweight Champion. Granted, it was a week long reign, but you seldom luck into a championship win and Chrenshaw damn sure didn't. He fought a match similar to this - a Triangle Survival against Jon Davenport and La Cucaracha and came out champion, submitting both of them. SAM HEWITT And if any of these four men oozes confidence, it's Ben Chrenshaw - as he steps up onto the apron, right into the lion's den so to speak. Powell explains the rules as the music dies down, telling them to decide who will start and who will head to the apron. Chrenshaw grabs the tag rope, signifying his intentions. The veteran in this match, David Troy quickly exits to the apron and grabs the other as the crowd roars knowing what this means. SAM HEWITT Chrenshaw and Troy head to the apron leaving Bam Markham and Pat Cross inside the ring, meaning the two big boys are going to duke it out to begin this bout!Markham can't hide his snarling smile as he and Pat Cross get face to face, bumping chests. Markham shoves Cross and "Juneau" pushes him right back! Markham swings, but Cross blocks it and grabs him by the neck and throws him down! Markham lays on the mat, slowly becoming enraged. The grandson of Slam Markham gets back up and the two big men circle around. They lock-up, bulling each other back and forth like sumos trying to get the upper hand. Markham gets fed up and breaks free, lunging at Cross who dodges the attack. Markham hits the ropes and Cross turns back, blasting him with a couple rights. He grabs Markham's head and tries to leap into a flying knee, but Bam Markham shoves him down and retreats to the corner. Cross gets up slowly, holding his back as Markham readies himself for battle again. Markham tells Cross to bring it as they circle around again and lock-up, Markham blasts him with a knee to the gut and begins clubbing his back with forearms. Cross goes down to a knee, but powers back up and scoops Markham up on his shoulder! BRIAN SHELZI Oh jeez! SAM HEWITT Six foot four, two hundred and eighty pounds of Bam Markham and Pat Cross just lifted him with ease! Scary strength! Cross tries to bring him forward, but Markham slips out the back and chucks Cross sternum first into the turnbuckles. He staggers back and Markham grabs him around the waist... RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX! The Toronto crowd pops for the impressive throw as Markham gets up and dives on top of Cross for the cover! 1... ... 2... ... FOOT ON THE ROPE! Markham gets up and argues with Powell about the call, Ben Chrenshaw reaches in and slaps the Colorado native's back to tag himself in. The Bull from Boulder doesn't look too impressed by this and grabs Chrenshaw by the head and slings him inside, the Crippler lands hard inside the ring as Markham exits. Chrenshaw slowly rises to his feet, hurt by that but not enough to deter him from the task at hand. Pat Cross gets up on his hands and knees and Chrenshaw steps up on his back and drives a knee into it! Cross collapses onto his stomach, cussing from the shot. Chrenshaw keeps his knee there and jacks up Cross' chin with a Camel Clutch variation. However, Juneau is still way too close to the ropes and he grabs them to break the hold. Chrenshaw breaks at four and backs up towards Bam Markham's corner. The Bull from Boulder is about to reach in and tag himself, but the Crippler turns and pokes him in the eyes! Markham falls off the apron, yelling about his eyes as Chrenshaw watches with a smirk. Pat Cross gets up and Chrenshaw notices, turning and charging... RIGHT INTO A BACK BODY DROP! Chrenshaw nearly stands up after the landing and Cross falls to his knees, he gets up still holding his back and grabs the former Heritage Champion and stuffs him between his legs for a powerbomb. He grasps his hands around the waist and lifts, but Chrenshaw headbutts him and drops to safety. He bounces off the ropes and chop blocks the big man's leg from behind, knocking him down to the mat in a hurry. Chrenshaw leaps on top, applying a side headlock and really grinding it in. Cross fights his way back up to his feet and literally throws Chrenshaw off and into the ropes, Chrenshaw doesn't get much of a running start on account of being actually thrown and eats a big boot as a result! Cross goes down, feeling the effects of the chop block and Chrenshaw goes out of the ring, but only to the apron. Bam Markham jumps in and grabs Cross... hoisting him up... BAM BOMB! The folding powerbomb does exactly that - it folds Cross up like an accordion but Powell isn't counting! He tells Markham that Chrenshaw's feet didn't touch the floor and that he's still legal! Markham turns around to confront Chrenshaw, but David Troy uses the ropes to leap up and kicks him in the back of the head! Markham tumbles over the top rope to the floor - a little assist from Chrenshaw pulling the rope down. Chrenshaw chuckles then ascends the turnbuckles... DIVING LEG DROP ON CROSS! He rolls over onto him! 1... ... 2... ... 3! BRADY ROSSEN Pat Cross has been eliminated!Stage hands help Powell pull Cross out of the ring, leaving Chrenshaw in there as David Troy hops in. SAM HEWITT Four becomes three! Pat Cross, the biggest man in the bout is now eliminated leaving Ben Chrenshaw, David Troy as the legal men and Bam Markham, who's out on the floor recovering.BRIAN SHELZI Recovering from illegal interference! What right did Troy have to intervene? Markham is a newcomer and was confused about the rules, I think he turned around to help Chrenshaw back inside the ring and Troy blasted him! That's ridiculous!Troy and Chrenshaw circle around. They lock hands for a knuckle lock, but Troy decides to use his experience to his advantage and instead turns it into an arm wringer. Chrenshaw flips forward trying to escape it, but Troy rolls him back the way he came and cartwheels - grabbing Chrenshaw with the flying headscissors! He takes Chrenshaw down to the mat with them, lets go and gets back to his feet. Troy tries to level him with a kick to the body, but Chrenshaw blocks it and knees Troy in the gut! He turns him around and clamps on an abdominal stretch! Troy yells out in pain, but shows some massive fortitude by walking toward the ropes with Chrenshaw on his back. Halfway there, Chrenshaw readjusts and applies the hold again - Troy grabs Chrenshaw's left leg and pulls it forward - falling backwards to the mat with his weight on Chrenshaw! Troy rolls one way, the Crippler the other. Troy is up first and slowly staggers over to Chrenshaw, who's on one knee - he grabs him in a rear waist lock and bridges... GERMAN SUPLEX! He holds it! 1... ... 2... ... NO! SAM HEWITT A beautiful executed German suplex hold by David Troy but it's only good for two! BRIAN SHELZI It's only good for one - Bam Markham. These two are beating each other while the big man lays in wait. Troy sits up, Chrenshaw slowly moving behind him. Dynamite looks at Markham, who's like a powder keg on the apron - waiting to get back into this thing after being ticked off by both men. Bam tells Troy he's going down and whether he saw Chrenshaw creeping or meant it for himself, Troy gets trapped in a Dragon sleeper! However, the veteran fights up to his feet and backs Chrenshaw into the corner to break free! Troy doesn't get a chance to enjoy his freedom though as Chrenshaw slaps on a rear naked choke! Troy tries to slam him back into the corner again to break free, but is unable to get lucky again. So instead, he charges forward across the ring toward Bam Markham. Markham is nearly licking his lips as he winds up his right hand, Troy drops down and delivers a jawbreaker to Chrenshaw - causing them to both duck Bam's punch! Chrenshaw staggers backwards, Troy gets up and gets smacked by Markham, drawing the attention of Powell. Powell admonishes Markham for doing it, Chrenshaw grabs Troy and small packages him! THERE'S NO REFEREE TO COUNT! Chrenshaw lets go and gets up, spinning Powell around and bitching at him. Troy gets up and Chrenshaw turns around... SPINNING BACK KICK - THE FLASH BANG! Troy covers! 1... ... 2... ... 3! BRADY ROSSEN Ben Chrenshaw has been eliminated!SAM HEWITT That's not going to sit well with Chrenshaw - he has a fair claim there, he small packaged Troy and looked like it could've been a three - it's hard to say without an official count. But Markham's involvement distracted Powell. Chrenshaw got hot about it and paid the price for turning his back on a guy like Troy. BRIAN SHELZI Absolutely - that Flash Bang kick is serious business. That's twice now that Troy's scored a pinfall over Chrenshaw. SAM HEWITT But now we're down to the final two - Troy, Markham. We'll have ourselves a brand new Heritage Heavyweight Champion!Bam Markham gets in and charges Troy, blasting him with... well, himself more or less. Troy staggers back against the ropes and Markham tries to tee off, but Dynamite wisely circles out to avoid being blocked in by the 6'4" / 280lbs Bull from Boulder. Markham taunts Troy as he assumes a fighting stance, then dips in for a low kick. Troy misses, but also misses the incoming right hand from Bam. Troy backs off and keeps circling, trying to gauge the distance of the reach disadvantage. Markham lunges suddenly, Troy connects with a kick but gets walloped by a forearm in the process. He stumbles but stays on his feet, circling around. Troy waits for Markham to try and strike again and when he does, he goes for a kick to the thigh - Bam catches it and slaps Troy down! Dynamite scrambles back to his feet, ducking and dodging as he can. Troy tries to throw Bam off, going one way and then swinging his leg back around looking for the Flash Bang... but Markham grabs him from behind and the crowd roars in anticipation having seen what he did to Cross. Markham throws Dynamite David Troy backwards with a release German suplex! BRIAN SHELZI Oh my God!Powell steps in and cautions Markham to stay back, Troy says he's OK but Powell starts the ten count. 1... 2... 3... 4... Troy fights up to his feet - the Toronto crowd can't believe it! SAM HEWITT And that's what a title means to a fighter in Lion's Road! Unbelievable drive from Troy!Markham nearly bows over Powell and Troy as he drives him down with a shoulder block! Markham tries to follow up, but Troy is in the ropes! Powell gets up and backs Markham away, Troy comes up and gets hammered by lefts and rights but ducks low! He does a go behind and clamps on an Octopus hold! He pulls Markham down to the mat! The crowd is going nuts! Markham uses his free hand to strike Troy and break free, but Dynamite peppers him with kicks as he tries to get up. Markham shoves him away, Troy kicks off the turnbuckles and charges in... MARKHAM CATCHES HIM! ONE PUNCH! Troy does down in a hurry! Markham covers! 1... ... 2... ... 3! Markham gets up and blows his snot out at Troy, then raises his arm as his theme song kicks in. BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, your new Heritage Heavyweight Champion... BAM MARKHAM!Rossen hops on the apron to relay the belt to Markham, but nearly gets pie faced for his efforts. Markham raises the belt high as he yells out at the fans. SAM HEWITT You know, this is the only time I can think of that someone's won a title belt in their debut. BRIAN SHELZI A guy with the size of Bam Markham and that don't give a damn attitude - it's a scary combination. Props to David Troy though, dude's a warrior. Fought through a barrage to get behind Markham, caught him in an Octopus hold - I think he messed up though. If he tried a cutback cradle out of it, he might very well have been the winner but he tried the submission and kids, he's the loser here tonight. SAM HEWITT Well, don't go away, fans. We've got plenty more action coming up!

BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, this singles bout is to be fought over a fifteen minute time limit with one fall, one submission or a knockout to decide the winner! "Lionheart" by Blind Guardian hits and the Toronto crowd erupts with "WELCOME BACK" chants as the music plays on. As the vocal kick in, the curtain is pushed aside and Teddy Davis walks out to a loud pop. The one time King of Lions stares out at the crowd, a bit teary eyed. Dressed in dark purple tights and black boots, Davis makes his way down to the ring. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Lake of the Woods, Ontario! He weighs in at two hundred and thirty four pounds! Making his return for one night only... "LIONHEART" TEDDY DAVIS!Davis throws his arms in the air and then slaps hands with both sides of the crowd as he continues down the aisle. He climbs the stairs at ringside and steps through the ropes as Oasis' "Columbia" interrupts. The crowd maintains its pop as the stone grooved rhythm carries on. BRADY ROSSEN Fighting out of Japan! He weighs in at two hundred and nineteen pounds! He is the longest reigning King of Lions Champion in HISTORY! HE IS THE "BLAZIN' KING" JULIAN CUTLASS! Julian Cutlass emerges from the backstage clad in a blue, hooded robe and the crowd warps into a frenzy as he steadily makes his way down the aisle with a relaxed, assured confidence. BRIAN SHELZI The atmosphere in here is insane...He throws the robe to one of the handlers outside of the ring before climbing the steps and ducking underneath the top rope to enter the ring. He stretches his legs and throws a few punches before standing in his corner in wait. BRADY ROSSEN Your referee for this bout is Robbie Morris! Cutlass and Davis walk into the centre of the ring and shake hands, the crowd eats it up! The two men say a few words to each other before heading back to their respective corners where Robbie Morris calls for the bell. The two men circle around, sizing one another before a collar and elbow tie-up. The tie-up doesn't last long though as Davis arm drags Cutlass! Davis stands back, watching Cutlass get back to his feet with a smile on his face. The two men lock-up again and jockey for position, Cutlass backs Davis into the ropes then drops back - arm dragging him! Davis gets up to his knees and wipes some sweat from his forehead. They lock-up again, but Davis pulls an arm wringer this time - Cutlass grimaces as the hold is tightened up but comes up with a knee to the midsection to break free and then grabs Davis' head in a side headlock. He tries to take him over to the mat but Davis blocks it and runs Cutlass to the ropes. The two men bounce off and Davis throws Cutlass into the opposite set! The Blazin' King comes back with a running palm strike that sends Davis into the air and down to the mat! Cutlass turns around and watches as Davis rolls onto all fours, then sits up on his knees holding his face. Cutlass backs up, allowing Davis some space to recuperate. SAM HEWITT So the obvious point in this match is that Teddy Davis hasn't wrestled in seven years. He's done some MMA bou-- BRIAN SHELZI Whoop de doo, Sam. MMA is not pro-wrestling, the two share some similarities for sure but it's a whole different training process. In MMA, you train your cardiovascular system to carry you through a round and recuperate in the minute rest period. If Davis is coming in here like that, this one will be over quickly. SAM HEWITT With eight years experience in THIS sport, I don't think Davis suddenly forgot how to train for a wrestling match. Everything single report that we've heard from Bastian Krull is that Davis has been training like mad for this match. He had various offers to come out of retirement over the years but this match with Cutlass is the one that he wanted. The very first King of Lions Champion from the original Lion's Road against the longest reigning King of Lions champion - all time. Cutlass and Davis lock-up with the Blazin' King going behind with a rear waist lock. Davis manages to grab the left arm of Cutlass and get himself free, isolating the arm into another arm wringer. Before he can wrench it, Cutlass has turned it around on him and put him in one of his own! Davis rolls forward in an attempt to escape but Mr. 448 puts his foot on Davis' chest to prevent him from being able to do so while keeping the hold intact. Davis uses his free arm to shove Cutlass' foot and then kips up, Cutlass grabs him... AND DUMPS HIM ON HIS HEAD WITH A BACKDROP SUPLEX! The crowd explodes as Davis rolls away in pain, dropping out of the ring. Cutlass gets up, expressing a bit of concern to Robbie Morris who heads outside to check on him. Davis tells Morris he's fine, but that he didn't miss that part of this! The front row fans chuckle as Morris climbs back inside the ring and begins his ten count. Davis grabs the middle rope and hauls himself back up and inside the ring at the count of four. He dusts himself off and works out the kinks in his neck before circling around with Cutlass again. They tie-up and Davis backs Cutlass up into the ropes, rather than breaking - Davis shoots him across the ring to the opposite ropes. On the return, he nails the Jumbo knee! Cutlass wobbles and falls against the ropes! Davis gets up as Cutlass staggers out, the Lionheart ducks behind Cutlass and scoops him up... running forward, then slamming him down with a backdrop suplex of his own! Davis yells "shit!" as he rolls away from Cutlass, clearly in a bit of pain from the move but finds enough wherewithal to cover Cutlass! 1... ... 2-NO! BRIAN SHELZI A key thing to watch for is Davis' neck. It's why he retired from wrestling and just because it feels better doesn't mean it is better, let me tell you. I've been in the ring, I've had injuries. The fact that he's been off for seven years not taking damage to the neck doesn't reverse the fact that he injured it in the first place and you're seeing it come into play here. Cutlass dumped him on his head, he rolled out. He executed his own backdrop suplex and couldn't immediately follow up. Cutlass gets up to his feet while Davis is down on one knee, Robbie Morris asking him if he's OK. He nods and stands up, the Lionheart and the Blazin' King lock-up and Cutlass pulls a side headlock. Again, he tries to take Davis up and over and down to the mat but Davis blocks it. Davis tries to run Cutlass into the ropes like before, but Cutlass drops to a knee to prevent it. Davis roars as he grabs Cutlass around the waist and lifts him up off the mat. He sits Cutlass back down on his feet just as they reach the ropes and the Blazin' King is thrown off into the ropes. Davis tries to drop down and trip him up, but Cutlass jumps over and stops. Davis pops up - MONGOLIAN CHOP FROM CUTLASS! With Davis stunned, Cutlass grabs him in a side headlock and takes him down to the mat! Cutlass tries to grab the arm, but Davis quickly and wisely drapes his foot over the bottom rope to break that up. Cutlass gets back up on his feet and keeps his eye on Davis who's trying to do the same. As he gets to his knee, Cutlass grabs him and drags him up to his feet. He shoves him backwards and pops him with a jab, then a leg kick. Davis responds with a frustrated lunging forearm and it misses by a mile, Cutlass grabs him... EXPLODER SUPLEX! The Blazin' King rolls onto his stomach and gets up to his feet, but the crowd begins going nuts. DAVIS CHARGES! JUMBO KNEE! A replay shows what happened - Davis lands from the suplex, turns and slams his hand into the mat and staggers to his feet, catching Cutlass off guard with the jumping knee. He falls to the mat, unable to follow up. Referee Robbie Morris begins counting both men. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... Cutlass is stirring first, getting onto his knee. 6... Cutlass stands up as Davis crawls toward the turnbuckles and grabs the middle rope. 7... Now the top rope and pulls himself up. He glances back to see where Cutlass is and if he's charging in, but Cutlass puts his hands up and tells Davis to turn around. The Lionheart turns around, ready to battle again as the crowd applauds the respectful sportsmanship. A lock-up occurs, Cutlass does a go behind and tries to lift but Davis blocks it and lunges for the ropes. He gets close, but can't grab them as Cutlass pulls him back. Davis elbows his way out instead, then hits the ropes and crashes into Cutlass with a forearm! Davis yells at Cutlass, telling him "GET UP, KING!" as he stalks his prey... Cutlass rises to his feet but meets Davis' face with an elbow shot! Davis staggers away but turns back, charging in... CUTLASS NAILS A TILT-A-WHIRL BACKBREAKER! SAM HEWITT The Flying Cyprus! And look at the arch in Davis' back - that one hurt! BRIAN SHELZI A traditional backbreaker hurts enough, but when you add the unpredictability of speed into the equation with the tilt-a-whirl, you're gonna have a bad time. Cutlass covers! 1... ... 2... NO! Cutlass gets up and plays to the crowd a bit, hinting at a lariat. They respond positively, but when he points to his foot - they come unglued! Cutlass turns around and waits for Davis to get up... BLAZIN' KI-NO! Davis grabs the leg and trips up the base, knocking Cutlass down to the mat. Davis leaps into side control, then to north south and clamps on a front chancery as he pulls Cutlass up off the mat. Davis signals for something of his own. He tries for a suplex, no doubt looking for his signature Dynamite Buster but Cutlass blocks it! Davis clubs his back a few times, knocking him down to his knees. Davis clasps his hands around Cutlass' waist and hauls him over with a gutwrench suplex and points up top. The fans roar with approval as Davis exits the ring and begins ascending the ropes. SAM HEWITT I'm having flashbacks now, Brian. I was there in 2006 when Teddy Davis went up top and flew off with the Lion Press on Vincent Verillion to win the King of Lions. The crowd was as electric that night as they are tonight. BRIAN SHELZI But how often does lightning strike twice?Davis steadies himself and leaps off looking for the body splash... AND HE MAKES A SPLASH BUT NO ONE IS HOME! Cutlass rolls out of the way, Davis crashes hard and tries to get up to his feet while holding his midsection. Cutlass bounces off the ropes... BLAZIN' KICK! Davis goes down, Cutlass drops on top and hooks the leg! 1... ... 2... ... 3! Cutlass rolls off and gets to his feet, Morris raises his arm in victory before Cutlass rests on the corner turnbuckle for a minute. He watches as the stage hands attend to Davis, who eventually sits up. A replay is shown... BRIAN SHELZI Here it is, Sam - you were there, the Lion Press off the top. Davis trying to summon the spirit of 2006, but he finds no opponent - only mat. Cutlass gets up and seizes the opportunity, driving his foot into the Lionheart's head and puts this one away with the Blazin' Kick like he's done so many times before. The Blazin' King walks over and extends his hand, Davis looks at him for a few tense moments then accepts it! Cutlass pulls him to his feet and the two lions share a hug. Davis pulls away and raises Cutlass' arm in victory before bowing to him and rolling out of the ring. Cutlass follows him out and the two take opposite directions as they go around the ring, slapping hands with every fan they can. SAM HEWITT Two legends of the Great Lakes area in what could very well be their last match here - a fitting sendoff, if that's indeed the case. The two men meet in the aisle and raise each other's hands once again as we go to commercial.

Becky Chande is standing by with some special guests - a number of familiar faces, including Holly Hammerstein, Dave Flynn and an extremely nervous looking Charlotte Buchanan. Charlotte and Becky share a hug before the interview begins. BECKY CHANDE Ladies and gentlemen, with me at this time are several members of Eli Buchanan’s family, in particular, his wife Charlotte Buchanan. Charlotte, I can only speculate at how nerve racking this feel right now. In mere moments your husband faces his former friend and Hardliners tag team partner, Carl Whitaker. I know this can’t be easy, but I was hoping to get a few comments from you before the match begins.A chant of “Charlie” echos through the arena, which brings a slight smile to Charlotte’s face before she starts speaking. CHARLOTTE BUCHANAN Becky, you’re absolutely right. Few people realize this but I’ve known Eli since we were little kids and I’ve been there to see him go through many of his ups and downs mentally, and I can honestly say that I’ve never seen him like this before. For those of us who really know him, there’s always been a sense that even at his worst there was a sense of, for the lack of a better term, controlled chaos about him. No matter what he did, no matter how crazy he seemed, there was a method to his madness. I stared him in the eyes earlier today before we came to the arena and I have got to tell you that I see no control left there. BECKY CHANDE Charlotte, I hate to bring this up, but Carl Whitaker has said some pretty derogatory things about Eli as a husband and as a father…CHARLOTTE BUCHANAN Carl Whitaker has turned into a cold blooded asshole. (massive pop from the crowd) Maybe that has always been there. From the conversations that he Eli and I have had about our respective children, I really thought I knew who he was as a man, but I guess I was wrong about him. Carl can say anything he likes about Buck U Productions, the opinion on one man isn’t going to hurt us very much, but when he attacks Eli as a father and a husband, that goes too far. Perhaps he should be more worried about this monster that he’s created for himself instead of taking cheap shots. He might think he’s going to gain some sort of advantage over my husband by making him even more angry, but I have a feeling he’s going to realize he’s woken the beast and he’s about to find out why he’s been given the nickname “The Last Dragon”.BECKY CHANDE Can you give us any idea what your husband’s strategy will be here tonight. CHARLOTTE BUCHANAN I think he’s put it best himself, he’s going to put Carl Whitaker down, no matter what it takes, or he’ll die trying. And that Becky is what I’m worried about. "Cry for the Bad Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd hits and the boos are deafening! Carl Whitaker walks out from the back with his hands on his hips. Sporting blue jeans for this fight, Whitaker has also got his hands heavily taped up - more so than usual. His Riberia steakhouse jacket has not been left behind though and neither has the towel he wears around his neck. BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, this is a Texas Death Match! It is to be fought with no time limit and falls count anywhere! A winner will be declared when a fighter scores a pinfall on his opponent and they are then unable to answer the referee's ten count. Introducing first fighting out of Beaumont, Texas! He weighs in at two hundred and twenty eight pounds... THE ONE MAN STAMPEDE - CARL WHITAKER! He walks down the aisle, smirking at the remarks being thrown his way. He stops in front of Charlotte Buchanan and says something the cameras don't pick up. Whitaker manages to swat away some trash and dodge other bits being thrown at him. However, he isn't able to dodge the attack of Eli Buchanan who blindsides him from behind! The bell sounds with the crowd at a fever pitch! Referee Buster Powell exits the ring and watches from the apron as Buchanan pulls Whitaker's Riberia steakhouse jacket over his head, hockey style and begins feeding him uppercut punches! Whitaker manages to wrangle himself out of the jacket as Buchanan throws him to the ground. The former Tiger Mask Red walks away, slapping himself in the head as the Toronto crowd roars in support of him! Buchanan turns back toward Whitaker, who's crawling on the ground and finds the towel that Ol' Stonehands brought with him to the ring. Eli grabs it and ravels it up, then uses it to choke Whitaker! The Texas Bull extends his arms, trying to grab anything he can to break himself free but can't find anything not bolted down. Whitaker grabs the ropes and pulls himself and Eli forward! Eli's throat hits the middle rope and he falls to the ground coughing, Whitaker drags himself inside the ring to try and catch his breath. SAM HEWITT Well, grabbing the ropes doesn't do much good in this match - it won't break up a submission, but grabbing it like Whitaker just did certainly proved to be effective. BRIAN SHELZI And that's all it needs to be. Eli Buchanan's out here like a madman hellbent on revenge, Whitaker's just trying to survive. Buchanan's always had a screw loose and Whitaker dumping him as a partner wasn't malicious at all. It's the cost of doing business - Whitaker is a business man and a family man. He has mouths to feed and Eli's performance lately hindered that. I think that's justifiable cause! Now Eli's gone crazy... well, crazier but he's going to have a whole slew of new problems after Whitaker gets done with him.Eli staggers to his feet and uses the timekeeper's chair to help himself up. He keeps it as a crutch as he regains his breath, Whitaker is on his knees recuperating inside the ring. Buchanan slides the chair under the bottom rope and pulls himself in. The former Tiger Mask Red gets up and goes to grab the chair, but Whitaker lunges at him and clamps on an iron claw hold! Yes, the move made famous by another Texas native - Fritz Von Erich. Whitaker holds the claw on while he uses it foot to sweep the chair away from Buchanan, who swings at Ol' Stonehands as best he can. Some shots connect but certainly not as well as they should, Whitaker grabs his wrist for extra leverage as Buchanan falls to his knees. With Buchanan very weary, the Bull lets go and punches him in the face! Buchanan falls to the mat and Whitaker covers! 1... ... 2-NO! Whitaker shakes his head and snatches Eli up by the hair! Buchanan grabs Whitaker's head and lunges his own head into it! Whitaker staggers away in pain while Buchanan simply laughs as the blood trickles down his face. SAM HEWITT It didn't take long for the first cut of the match - Eli Buchanan is busted open and I presume it's from the headbutt he just gave Whitaker, but between the claw and the punch - it's hard to say. Whitaker shakes it off and comes back at Buchanan, winding up his right arm for a shot... but Buchanan grabs it and the fans pop huge as the former Tiger Mask Red grasps the wrist of Whitaker, preventing him from delivering his knockout shot. Whitaker shakes his arm, trying to get loose of Buchanan's grip... then opens his own hand as he grabs his right wrist with his left hand. He pushes down, trying to apply the claw for a second time. Buchanan falls down on his back, still trying to fight the hold. The Toronto crowd is loud, but you can hear Charlotte's worried yells for Eli as Carl manages to apply the claw with Eli flat on the mat! 1... ... 2... ... 3! Despite the fall, Whitaker keeps the hold on longer preventing Powell from starting the ten count as he's too busy trying to get Whitaker off of Eli! Finally Whitaker lets go and Powell backs him up into the corner and admonishes him. Whitaker laughs in his face, telling the former footballer that he can't be disqualified for such any action in this match! Powell turns his attention back to Eli, unable to argue with that point. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... Eli rolls onto his stomach, Whitaker doesn't bother waiting for the count to finish - he knows he still has some work to do. He grabs Eli up and goes to whip him into the ropes, but it gets countered! Buchanan runs up and blasts Whitaker with a lariat! Whitaker goes down, but quickly gets back up despite not having his legs quite underneath him. Buchanan stumbles around himself, trying to catch up with his old partner. Buchanan blasts Whitaker with a knife edge chop to the throat! Carl Whitaker falls to the mat! Eli the Red drops down to a knee, wiping his blood away before getting up and walking over to Whitaker who kicks his legs up and blasts Buchanan! The Last Dragon hits the mat and Ol' Stonehands sits up, he crawls over to where Eli is and places his left hand on his head and cocks back the right.... KNOCKOUT PUNCH MISSES! He hits the mat as Eli rolls out of the way in time, Whitaker holds his hand in pain! BRIAN SHELZI At least it wasn't a ring post! The mat is a helluva lot more forgiving! Eli grabs Whitaker's arm at the wrist and holds it to the mat before stomping it! Whitaker rolls away, cussing as he goes, Buchanan gets up and looks to the Toronto crowd who tell him to finish the job! Buchanan smiles through the bloodied face and uppercuts Ol' Stonehands in the gut as he gets back up to a vertical base. He doubles over and Eli pushes him into the corner where he grabs the dominant hand of Carl Whitaker and bashes it over the ring post. Whitaker falls down to his knees and rolls out of the ring, stumbling away holding his hand. Buchanan ducks out of the other side of the ring and retrieves a steel chair from a fan who's more than happy to give it up. Buchanan slowly stalks around ringside, calling out Carl's name as he bashes the chair against the ground. He reaches Whitaker and swings, but the former tag team champion ducks and the chair careens off of the ring post. Whitaker grabs Buchanan's face with his hand, applying the claw again! BRIAN SHELZI It's interesting - the claw isn't something that you see Whitaker normally use, but the fact that his hands are taped up heavily really enhances it. A loosely taped, or non taped hand would be able to cover more area when applying the hold. Heavily taped confines itself to a strict area and I'm sure Whitaker is really digging in with his fingernails since there's nothing stopping him from doing so. Buchanan's bloody face is in agony as he falls to his knees, feeling the pressure of the claw hold. Whitaker's grimacing as he tries to cinch it in tighter, but opts instead to bash Eli's head off the apron instead. Buchanan crumples to the floor and the Texas native shakes his hand out, unravelling some of the tape to try and get the feeling going. He drops down and covers Eli. 1... ... 2... ... 3! Powell tells him to get up and stay away while he counts, Whitaker does exactly that - heading to the adjacent side of the ring to continue unravelling his hand tape as Powell counts. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... Buchanan begins stirring, Whitaker charges at him and boots him in the head before putting his boot on Eli's head and literally standing on him - using the middle rope to steady himself as he puts his weight on Buchanan. He steps off and grabs Eli by his hair and drags him up, walking around ringside right to where Charlotte is sitting and slams Eli into the guardrail. Blood splatters around and Whitaker tells her she'd better tell him to quit before her kids don't have a father! Whitaker grabs the back of Eli's neck and presses his throat down into the guardrail, choking him. Charlotte gets up and shoves Whitaker off. As Eli goes down, the Roaring Rumble winner starts laughing and grabs her! She tries to slap her way free! Even Holly Hammerstein tries to help but Carl simply threatens her as Powell tries to intervene. The crowd roars as Buchanan slams a chair into Whitaker's back, knocking him down to the ground. Buchanan grabs the chair and wild and erratically swings at his former partner down on the ground, not fully connecting on many of the shots. Whitaker slowly slinks under the guardrail to avoid further damage. Buchanan yells as he throws the chair and falls down. SAM HEWITT Well, I don't know how many of those shots actually delivered damage. Buchanan's lost a fair bit of blood and he was being choked on the guardrail, I guess he heard the cries of his wife and kicked himself into a gear he didn't know he had to get up that quickly but he's paying for it now. Whitaker starts getting up on the opposite side of the guardrail. Security doing their best to ensure fans don't get at him while he's over there, the One Man Stampede grabs the guardrail and steadies himself as he watches Buchanan struggling to breathe. Whitaker holds up his right arm, tape dangling and grabs it... AND STARTS CHOKING ELI AGAIN! He pulls Eli backwards, using the guardrail to increase the effectiveness of the choke as he leans backwards! SAM HEWITT Oh come on! This isn't worth ending a career over! Come on, stop! Unfortunately, no one can help but fate itself and as luck would have it, it does. Whitaker's tape breaks and he falls back into the empty chairs behind him, Buchanan falls forward coughing and choking. He crawls forward, trying to get up. An excellent camera shot shows the lines from the hand tape on his neck. Buchanan grabs the steel chair from earlier and uses it as a crutch to get up, Whitaker groggily gets to his feet on the other side of the guardrail - having hit the back of his head on a chair. He's cut open good! Whitaker grabs the back of his head and looks at his hand covered in blood, he turns around... BUCHANAN SOARS INTO THE CROWD LIKE A TORPEDO - CHAIR FIRST INTO WHITAKER"S SKULL! The crowd erupts in cheers as Buchanan lands on top and Powell calls it a pin. 1... ... 2... ... 3! Dave Flynn rushes up and pulls Eli off, despite admonishment from Powell for doing it. Nonetheless, Powell starts his count. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... Whitaker somehow, someway staggers up to his feet and immediately falls back down. Buchanan lays on the ground, looking at the scene unfold with an expressionless look upon his face. After Whitaker goes down, Buchanan rolls onto his side and grabs a chair and starts back up to his feet. He stumbles forward, falling into the guardrail and starts to climb over but falls backwards. The two time manager of the year and former Pollomania champion grabs the railing and hoists himself up, shaking the rail loose. He uses it to bulldoze a row of seats out of the way and then drops it, grabbing a chair and setting it up on one side. He takes another chair and unfolds it, setting it up opposite the first. He picks up the guardrail and places it across the two chairs, then grabs Whitaker and punches him several times before laying him across the guardrail. The camera closes in on Buchanan's bloody face as he screams, "I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" to massive cheers. BRIAN SHELZI Well, I guess the Leafs are out - you gotta cheer for something. Why not murder?The fans go into a hush as Buchanan wanders back to ringside, slides in and grabs the top rope. He slowly pulls himself up the ropes, making it to the top. He steadies himself, then places both feet on the top rope. He tries to stand up, but nearly slips - he catches himself though and stands up straight. Photography flashes go off as the camera shows the distance between he and Whitaker - Buchanan takes a deep gulp and leaps off. The crowd is dead silent as soars through the air... AND CRASHES ON TOP OF WHITAKER! BREAKING THE CHAIRS HOLDING UP THE GUARDRAIL! THE CROWD COMES ALIVE AND CHANTS ALONG AS POWELL DROPS DOWN! 1... ... 2... ... 3! There's a big cheer, but Buchanan doesn't move off of Whitaker - neither man is moving. Powell says fuck the rules and starts counting anyway, the fans right along with him. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10! The bell sounds but there's no celebration for the favourite's victory, Eli Buchanan is still on top of Whitaker - both a bloody mess. Dave Flynn is first over, helping stage hands and medics clean up the area to lay these two men out properly. Holly and Charlotte are holding each other, in tears as they watch despite Eli's win. BRIAN SHELZI Wow... I've been around the sport for years and I've seen a lot, a lot of crazy action... but this is something else. I've seen men dive at each other, I've seen men throws chairs at one another but I can't say I've ever seen someone leap over the guardrail and torpedo themselves into another man with a chair. How they got up from that, I'll never know - the chair hit both of them with the same force! And yet, Whitaker beat the count on that... but stayed down for the rest of the match. Got up, fell back down. Never seen anything like it. Eli Buchanan comes out on top... but is he really a winner?SAM HEWITT We've got many different doctors out here, lots of Laurentide Athletic Commission personnel checking out the scene. The hoops that Mandeville Nelson went through to get this match sanctioned... I don't think we're going to see another one. If it's anything like this, that's a good thing - we don't need our fighters doing stuff like this. I hope both men are alright, but we're going to take a break and get all this cleaned up. Back in a few moments...

James Edwards is shown sitting in a staircase, the King of Lions World's Heavyweight title set down beside him. Edwards is staring past the camera, appearing to be meditating. We cut over to another backstage area where AJ Knight is shadow boxing. BECKY CHANDE You wanted some time?AJ nods as he stops, Chande turns to the camera. BECKY CHANDE AJ, there's mere moments before the main event and it's one of the biggest in Lion's Road's history. How are you feeling?AJ lets his breathing slow down before answering. AJ KNIGHT Lady MacBeck, I am ready! Completely focused! For the last two months I have made my intentions clear: I wanted to be the ace. I've exorcised all of my demons, I expelled Hammerstein, I finally put the Red Army saga behind me and I finally put down the old ace. There's just one thing I haven't done...AJ smiles. AJ KNIGHT Well, two. One, I want to become a champion and two, I've never beat James Edwards one on one. Tonight, that changes. Tonight, everything changes. I will be ace, I will be king. And no one will deny me. Not tonight. I've gone from a nobody, to a prospect, from a prospect to a contender, from a contender to the ace, and the ace to the king! I've faced everything one could face in Lion's Road. Beaten down, bloodied, injured, betrayed, fired. I've come through all of it stronger than ever. And it's all led to this moment, to tonight! I will finally topple the Burning Heart, and I will claim my throne.AJ looks down at the floor and looks back up smirking. AJ KNIGHT I have been through hellfire and brimstone the likes of which Edwards fears to face. I've become something more, while Edwards s the same man he's always been. The title's coming home with me tonight, and nothing will stop me!STAGE HAND Time to go.AJ takes a deep breath before walking out of the shot. We transition to a shot of the ring where Brady Rossen is standing. BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of the evening and it is for the King of Lions World's Heavyweight Championship!HUGE POP! BRADY ROSSEN It is to be fought over a thirty minute time limit with one fall, one submission or a knockout! "Until the End" by Breaking Benjamin hits and the crowd erupts in a mixed reaction. AJ Knight walks out, sporting his "Ace of Lion's Road" t-shirt. He stops at the broadcast booth and says something before continuing on down the aisle, slapping hands with a couple fans as he does. BRIAN SHELZI Would you look at that - what a guy. AJ just told me where the after party is being held, did you get an invite Sammy?SAM HEWITT I appreciate the young man's confidence, but it could be a sombre party if James Edwards has anything to say about it.
AJ leaps onto the apron and climbs through the ropes, dashing over to a corner turnbuckle as "My Name is Human" by Highly Suspect hits. The venue goes dark and the fans' cell phones lights begin popping on. A lone figure stands in front of the curtain, his championship belt shining in the dark. The lights come up with the "Okay..." in the song and James Edwards walks down the aisle, a confident but steady stride. He grabs the middle rope and heaves himself up and inside the ring in one motion. AJ comes to meet him in the centre of the ring, but the fans ooh as Edwards blows him off and heads to his corner as Brady Rossen takes the centre stage. BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen - here to make the special prematch proclamation for this sixteenth King of Lions Championship bout is Lion's Road matchmaker, Mandeville Nelson. A polite pop, he waves to the crowd as he steps forward. MANDEVILLE NELSON It is here tonight in Toronto, Ontario at Lion's Road's second anniversary spectacular that James Edwards looks to make his first defense of the King of Lions World's Heavyweight Championship against a man who is no stranger to him - AJ Knight. These two men are vying for the highest honour in all of Lion's Road. May the best fighter emerge victorious this evening and lay claim to the title of King of Lion's Road!The fans get loud again as Rossen steps back into the middle of the ring. BRADY ROSSEN Introducing the challenger! He is fighting out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and weighed in this morning at two hundred and twenty pounds! He is the self-proclaimed ace of Lion's Road! Ladies and gentlemen... A! J! KNIGHT! Knight steps forward, raising his arms and points to his t-shirt before removing it. BRADY ROSSEN Introducing the champion! He is fighting out of Lexington, Kentucky and weighed in this morning at two hundred and four pounds! He is the current, reigning and defending King of Lions World's Heavyweight Champion! Ladies and gentlemen... THE BURNING HEART - JAMES EDWARDS!Edwards bows and removes the belt, handing it to Cordell Garner who holds it up high. BRADY ROSSEN Your referee for this bout is Cordell Garner!Rossen gets out of dodge quick as the duelling chants begin. Edwards does some last minute stretching on the ropes while AJ adjusts his singlet. Garner hands the belt to Rossen, who takes it up the aisle with him as he joins Shelzi and Hewitt at the broadcast booth. Garner calls for the bell! AJ and Edwards lock up, the battle for the upper hand is not easily won but AJ manages to go behind and grab a rear waist lock. Edwards reverses it into his favour, but the Millennial Crusader grabs his arm as he drops down to his knees, flinging the King of Lions forward. AJ gets up off his knees and backs up, dusting his hands off like it was no big deal. Edwards glares. SAM HEWITT And here the mind games begin. AJ already doing his best to get under Edwards' skin. BRIAN SHELZI I don't think AJ has to do much to get under anyone's skin. He's just one of those irritating people, insanely talented but irritating as hell. Guy probably calls the hotel front desk a minute before his wake up call to ask why they didn't call and wake him up. Edwards dives in at AJ in lieu of a lock-up, tackling him to the mat. AJ tries to kick him off, but Edwards hangs on not once, not twice but three times. AJ finally boots him in the head to send him flying, but the Burning Heart gets right back and charges. AJ grabs him in a side headlock and hip throws him to the mat, Edwards reaches up with his legs and breaks the hold with some headscissors. The two men spin up to their feet and standoff to some applause. Both champion and challenger circle around and lock-up again, AJ grabs a front chancery and tries to force Edwards down onto his knees but Edwards keeps a wide base to prevent it and as he senses AJ getting tired, he grabs him up and dumps him overhead with a Northern Lights suplex! He lets go and floats over into a pin! 1... ... 2-NO! Edwards grabs AJ up and pushes him up against the ropes, pounding him with repeated forearm shots! He grabs AJ's wrist and pulls him into a fireman's carry, AJ sits up and Edwards charges into the ropes and rebounds off... BUT AJ DUCKS THE VIOLENT GOSPEL! Edwards stops and waits - AJ sits up and gets kicked in the back of the head! AJ teeters over and rolls out of the ring, Edwards tries to give chase but Garner holds him back. AJ pops his head up from the outside and Edwards shoves Garner aside and goes out after him. Edwards grabs AJ and throws him head first into the apron then pushes him up onto the apron and back inside, AJ tries to crawl away to create some distance as Edwards climbs onto the apron, then ascends the turnbuckles. AJ looks back to see where Edwards is, but doesn't notice him perched up top. AJ turns around... DIVING LARIAT! SAM HEWITT It's anything but graceful, but a diving lariat from Edwards finds it mark!Edwards covers! 1... ... 2... NO! BRIAN SHELZI OK, I love this. Edwards doesn't go up top often and he tricks AJ here because he throws him in, AJ's looking back to see where he went. AJ thinks he's on the floor, but he's up top - the challenger gets up and turns around - BOOM. Not enough for a three just yet, but it's an effective tactic and move. Edwards rolls AJ onto his stomach and pulls him up a bit, AJ rests on all fours and eats a kick to the side that sends him rolling across the ring. The King of Lions grabs AJ's leg and drags him back into the centre where he clamps on a single leg crab. SAM HEWITT Listen to this crowd! They're used to seeing AJ Knight work the submissions, especially this one - Ben Chrenshaw's Wrinkle in Time. It's what AJ had on Edwards the last time they fought, but the time expired before a definitive outcome could occur. AJ claws his way over to the ropes and grabs the bottom one to break up the submission attempt. Edwards gets up and kicks AJ in the head a couple of times as he's trying to climb back to his feet, then proceeds to pull him in for a front chancery, then hooks a leg as he hoists AJ up into the air... FOXFIRE! The fisherman's brainbuster spikes AJ into the mat, the hooked leg providing more leverage to do so. He makes a cover! 1... ... 2... ... 3-NO! AJ kicks out with barely any room to spare, the champion sits on his knees for a moment as AJ rolls over and struggles back up to a vertical base. Edwards stands up and blisters AJ's chest with a knife edge chop, propping him back up against the ropes as a result. Edwards slams an elbow into AJ's face and he goes down, holding onto the top rope. Edwards pulls him up and delivers a second. AJ drops down onto all fours, Edwards drags him back to his feet and throws him into the ropes. On the rebound, Edwards goes for the spinning knee he calls the Concrete Chameleon but AJ spin dodges it! He turns and clocks Edwards with a rolling elbow smash! Edwards staggers, falls to a knee as AJ fights to maintain his balance on his feet. Edwards gets back up... DROPKICK BY AJ! Edwards goes down and out of the ring as a result of the momentum. AJ pops back up and goes to give chase, but Garner prevents him from doing so. Edwards recovers on the floor and climbs back up, AJ tries to grab him but Edwards delivers an elbow that sends AJ down to the mat and himself back to the floor! SAM HEWITT No nice landing for the champion on the floor, who put a lot behind that elbow in an attempt to prevent AJ from forcibly bringing him back into the ring. BRIAN SHELZI Maybe a bad idea though, he might've knocked AJ loopy enough for a three count but you can't make that when you're out on the flo--Shelzi is interrupted by the loud pop of the crowd as AJ storms back to his feet and leaps clear over the top rope, taking out Edwards on the floor! The crowd erupts in a HOLY SHIT chant as Garner jumps out of the ring to check both men out. He gets positive responses from both men so he heads back inside to begin the ten count. AJ begins to stir first at four as the count of Garner begins to register in his head. He hurries himself to his feet at six and grabs Edwards, trying to lift his dead weight up off the ground. AJ becomes a bit more frantic as the count reaches eight, but he successfully hauls Edwards up and throws him inside and beats the count of ten. He covers! 1... ... 2... ... FOOT ON THE ROPE! The crowd gasps! AJ rises up, holding his head as he looks at Garner who points to Edwards' foot. BRIAN SHELZI So much pride here that AJ completely dropped the ball. If that were me in that situation, I'd have left Edwards out on the floor and took the countout victory. You win the belt either way, but AJ's so concerned with avenging his losses that he wanted the pinfall... and he didn't get it!AJ hauls the King of Lions up to his feet and backs him up into the corner to keep him upright. He slaps Edwards a couple of times to help wake him up, then shoots him across the ring with a ton of force! Edwards turns to avoid going into the buckles chest first, but still hits hard on his back and stumbles out... INTO A SUPERKICK! Edwards falls backwards into the corner, AJ grabs him in a front chancery and drags him into the centre of the ring. He tries for a swinging neckbreaker but Edwards rolls through with it and clocks Edwards with the flying knee! AJ timbers to the mat as Edwards drops, unable to follow up. Garner's count reaches six before either man starts really moving, but AJ rolls onto his knee and starts to get up. Edwards grabs onto him, forcing the count to stop. Edwards readjusts his grip and tries for a backdrop suplex, but AJ clamps onto his head with a side headlock. Edwards tries to lift him, but AJ crosses his legs to centre his weight and Edwards sits him back down. AJ doesn't even have much time to get his legs out of his Indian style sitting position because Edwards clocks him with a kick to the head/chest. Knight falls backwards, Edwards falls down but stumbles right back up. He grabs AJ by the wrists and forces him up into a seated position again, Edwards takes a moment to regather himself then sprints toward the ropes. He bounces off... VIOLENT GOS-NO! AJ grabs it and rolls it into the single leg crab! Edwards grabs at the ropes, but AJ yanks him away just as he closes in on them! Edwards claws at the mat, trying to pull himself forward and manages to do so little by little. AJ can't hold on much longer and lets go just as Edwards is about to grab the ropes. He pulls Edwards up in a rear waist lock and grabs his wrist... and transitions him around with a short arm... SLAP!? YES! THE HOLY OUCH! The sweat flies off of Edwards as he falls to his knees, AJ breathes heavily as Edwards is kneeling before him - seemingly loopy from the shot. AJ grabs him up... KNIGHTFALL DDT! Edwards hits the mat with a thud, AJ lays motionless on his back for what feels like an eternity. He turns onto his side, slowly. DRAPES AN ARM ACROSS EDWARDS' CHEST! 1... ... 2... ... 3! The place pops huge! Ben Chrenshaw can be seen walking out from the back. He grabs the King of Lions belt off the broadcast booth and heads down the aisle to the ring with it in hand, looking at it longingly. He climbs inside and waits as medical staff check both men out. Knight slowly gets up to his knees and shakes his head out, he looks up and sees Chrenshaw. There's a tense moment, Chrenshaw looks at the belt and looks at his protege... THEN HUGS HIM! AJ falls to his knees again after the hug, Chrenshaw gives him the belt and AJ falls to the mat clutching it in his possession. SAM HEWITT Forget all the talk about choking! AJ Knight has done it! He is the King of Lions! BRIAN SHELZI I don't believe it - Sam, wake me up. SAM HEWITT You ARE awake, Brian. This is as real life as it gets! AJ stands up, Chrenshaw wraps the title around his protege's waist and the audience roars as Brady Rossen stands up to announce the result. BRADY ROSSEN Ladies and gentlemen, your NEW King of Lions Champion... A! J! KNIGHT!Rossen goes to sit back down, but AJ asks for the microphone. Rossen hands it up. AJ KNIGHT Once more...AJ falls to a knee, out of breath. AJ KNIGHT AND NEW KING OF LIONS CHAMPION! AJ KNIGHT!AJ falls onto his back, half laughing and half crying. He stays there as he continues talking. AJ KNIGHT Almost... almost two years. This is MY CORONATION! Tonight, a new chapter begins... this was... this WAS a world title but tonight... this becomes THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Cutlass, you put this belt on the map... but I will elevate this belt to a whole new level! AJ gets up to his feet. AJ KNIGHT Welcome to MY era - the AJ Knight era!He spikes the mic to the mat and rolls out, approaching the front row where his sister and nephew are sitting. He hoists Davey up over the guard rail and onto his shoulder, and helping his sister over the rail. AJ, Chrenshaw, Davey and Susan all head up the aisle. On the image of AJ tears of joy in his eyes, with his nephew on his shoulder, his longtime friend, and his older sister standing by his side, and his long sought after crown around his waist, surveying his new kingdom, we fade to black.
