PWGP “CHARGE” is on the air and coming to you once again from the PWGP Exhibition Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our commentary team of Greg Stradford and “Big Bad” Paul Carlyle welcome us to the program and quickly go over the matches scheduled for this evening. There will be a four corner elimination tag team match featuring some of PWGP’s hottest rivalries, Faititli will challenge The Technician for PWGP Television Title, we’ll see highlights from BATTLE Japan featuring some members of PWGP’s roster, and in the main event Alan Hunter and the PWGP International Tag Team Champions, The East K Connection have challenged any three of the hooded figures, who beat them down two weeks ago, to a fight.
Stradford and Carlyle are debating whether that last match will even happen since no one has even heard from this group of hooded individuals. This leads to the broadcast being interupted and a hooded figure appears on the screen. He tells Hunter and EKC they should have walked away from this fight because it was between his people and Eli Buchanan. Despite this he accepts the challenge and warns Hunter and EKC they will suffer a fate similar to the one Buchanan faced two weeks ago.
The signal to the broadcast returns to noble with Stradford and Carlyle appearing confused and more than a little bit worried. They send it over to ring announcer Nick Christoulos for the introductions for the opening contest.
MATCH 1
“High Five” Jimmy Jive and James Daniels
vs
The Moondogs, Buster and Runt, (1 point, w/ The Guru)
Referee: Eddie Tims
There are still obvious tensions between Jive and his son, Daniels. This lack of communication between the two of them hampered them early on in the match, allowing the Moondogs to take advantage of the misques between the two of them. Runt and Buster singled out the rookie Daniels and kept him in their corner throughout the better part of the match, effectively cutting the ring in half. Several times during the contest Jive would get baited into the ring by his opponents, which only lead to the Moondogs taking advantage to the distracted referee to inflict further damage to Daniels.
Jive would eventually have enough and charge into the ring to save his son, despite the protests of Eddie Tims. He would fight off both Moondogs and drag his son to their corner so he could be legally tagged into the match. Jive would continue his one man onslaught on the Moondogs but when he went to make a tag to his son to help him put Runt away, James Daniels was nowhere to be seen, having walked up the ramp “to clear his head.” His would lead to a distracted Jive getting hit with a running headbutt to the gut by Runt and rolled up for the three count.
Winners: The Moondogs (2 points)
After the match, The Guru celebrated with his tag team in the ring. Meanwhile Jive and Daniels had words with each other on the floor, with Daniels clearly making excuses as why he wasn’t here to help out his father. Eventually Jive walked away in frustration and we go to break.

Back from break we find Alan Hunter and The East K Connection entering Robert Fredrick’s office. Fredrick thanks them for coming and attempts to talk them out of facing these mysterious assailants tonight. Hunter, Sweet Daddy D and Easy E insist that they need to make a stand here tonight and tell Fredrick to make sure that the whole roster is ready tonight, just in case their opponents decide to bring a few of their friends to the party. The three depart leaving Robert Fredrick looking concerned. The segment ends with him telling his assistant, Deedee Gagne to go round up the security team and have them come meet him in his office.

MATCH 2
Fourway Tag Team Elimination Match
Surf ‘n Turf (Vod and Zaros, 1 point, w/ Getrude Quest)
vs
02 (Orville Newton and Big O, 0 points)
vs
The Wrecking Brew (“Iron” Mack Brody and True North Ant, 0 points, w/ Saul Asper)
vs
Philly Cheese Snake and Firefly
Referee: Mark Lindsey
Prior to the match we see clips of Vod and Zaros, along with Gertrude Quest, on a local morning news program this past Friday. During the interview Gertrude refers to herself as Surf ‘n Turf’s “queen”. It’s speculated by our commentary team that she might be behind Vod and Zaros’s sudden split from their former mentor, Vlars. A clip is then shown of the three of them attack Vlars as he entered the PWGP Exhibition Centre earlier today, laying him out with his own steel bucket, which is why Philly Cheese Snake was forced to find a different tag team partner for this evening.
Early on in the match Philly and Firefly worked with O2 against the two heel teams, hoping to eliminate on or both of those teams. The actions was wild for the first few minutes of the match and saw Big O tossing all members of both Surf ‘n Turf and Wrecking Brew out of the ring. Philly Cheese Snake and Firefly would hit stereo dives on the four men before Big O literally tossing his own partner, Orville Newton on top of all of them.
The first fall would occur just moments later and would see Firefly fall victim to a Deep Six Driver by Vod and pinned. Philly would try to break up the cover but was stopped by his former friend, True North Ant, who rammed him into the ring post.
Eliminated: Philly Cheese Snake and Firefly
The next fall would happen just a few minutes later as Philly Cheese Snake refused to leave ringside and ended up distracting True North Ant, leading to the former ManitobANT eating a powerslam and big splash from Big O, only for Zaros hit Big O with a running knee to the side of the face and stealing the pinfall on TNA.
Eliminated: The Wrecking Brew
Philly Cheese Snake took a few moments to mock his former partner before heading to the locker room with True North Ant, Mack Brody and Saul Asper all in pursuit. Meanwhile back in the ring the contest continued. Vod and Zaros were doing their best to keep Big O grounded, receiving shrieking encouragement from their “queen” at ringside. It didn’t seem to matter what they tried to do though, Big O refused to stay down. At one point her literally tossed Zaros clear off him and out to the arena floor when he went for a lateral press.
Big O would finally get the tag to his partner by showing just how strong he was. He picked Vod up while the sea monster had him in a front facelock and tossed him on to a charging Zaros before finally making it to his corner to tag in Orville Newton.
Newton showed the television audience just how much he’s improved from his days competing for Pollomania, showing off a lot of technical skills as he fended off both members of Surf ‘n Turf by himself. He would get a near fall on Zaros with a Small Package Driver but the pin was broken up by Vod. This lead to Big O getting back in the ring and all four men brawling. During the fight, Orville would climb to the top rope, looking to hit the Rocket Launcher Splash. Gertrude would take the opportunity to crotch him on the turnbuckle, while Mark Lindsey had his sight elsewhere. Surf ‘n Turf would hit a spiked version of Vod’s Deep Six Driver on Orville, with Zaros making the pinfall cover, while Vod kept Big O at bay.
Winners: Surf ‘n Turf (4 points)
Following the match the commentary team put over what a difference “Queen” Gertrude Quest had already made for her team. The three of them didn’t get the chance to celebrate, however, as Vlars came charging in with his bucket and mop and “cleaned house”, as Stradford called it, using both weapons to attack his former proteges before they managed to make good their escape, alongside their manager. The crowd cheered him on as he watched them take off through the crowd, swearing he would get them back for what they had done.

Back from the break we are treated to clips of matches that took place in PWGP’s sister organization, BATTLE Japan. Cielo Guerrera defeated the rookie Red Tiger Kid with a 630 Splash; Kraken and Axel Moros fought in a stiff brawl that looked more like a seen out of a scene out of a kaiju movie as opposed to a wrestling match, with the French Canadian Colossus picking up the victory following breathtaking moonsault; and finally, BATTLE Japan’s Heavyweight Champion successfully defend his championship against Sora Watanabe, winning that match with a stiff lariat clothesline followed up by his Double Arm DDT.
Following his match against Kraken, Axel Moros filmed a video for PWGP. He told the fans despite the hard loss he was grateful for the opportunity to represent them in Japan and would be returning soon. Also, he sent a message to The Technician, BOB and their manager, The Guru, warning them that he hadn’t forgotten about how they stole his Television Championship. He warned them to watch their backs, because once he returned there would be hell to pay!
***
The Guru and Tech are shown watching the video on a monitor in their locker room. The pair mock Moros for his recent loses and appear completely unconcerned about his threats. BOB enters, yelling out his own name. The Guru instructs the Moondogs to keep an eye on him and keep him in the locker room. The Technician jokes that tonight’s match against Faititli will be easy and tells the Moondogs to grab something for them and BOB to eat because he won’t need them tonight. The Moondogs mutely nod their heads in agreement and watch their mananger and the Television Champion take their leave.

We return from break with Nick Christoulos making the announcements for the next match.
MATCH 3
PWGP Television Title Match
The Technician (champion, 7 points, w/ The Guru)
vs
Faititili (2 points)
Referee: Eddie Tims
Before the match starts we see a clip taken back in January where The Technician hurt his foot during a match against then Television Champion, Faititili, which lead to him losing the match by countout and missing several weeks due to the injury. We’re reminded that he now wears an orthopedic boot , which Stradford insists is loaded with some sort of foreign object. Carlyle insists he’s delusional and demands to know where the proof is.
In the early goings of the match The Technician showed why he had earned that name, putting on a wrestling clinic at the expense of the former Television Champion. This led to him growing arrogant and he started slapping Faititili around and trying to embarrass him. The crowd popped when Faititili caught the masked grappler with a hip toss, followed up with a drop kick that sent him flying out of the ring. Faititili would hit a perfectly executed dive, knocking the current Television Champion into the barricade.
It appeared that the Samoan warrior had the match firmly in control, but The Guru would get involved, jumping up on the apron and getting a slap for his troubles. This distraction gave Tech all the opening he needed and he clipped Faititili’s leg from behind, For the next few minutes he methodically worked over Faititli’s knee and tried to get him to submit to a leg grapevine. The first ever Television Champion, however, refused to give it up and managed to force a rope break.
It was while working over Faititili’s knee that The Technician would lose the momentum. He would grab the Samoan’s leg while he was trying to get to his feet and would eat an enziguri for his troubles. Faititili would slowly begin to gain momentum, hitting a series of chops and hip tosses. He would go for a superkick, only to have it blocked by Tech, but would manage to turn it into a spin heel kick and a near fall. Faititli would try for a second superkick but nearly hit referee Eddie Tims instead, nearly missing his head by mere inches.
The Technician would take this opportunity to load up his boot, kicking the mat to do so. When Faititli turned around he nearly got a boot to the face himself but managed to grab the foot and reverse it into an atomic drop. He would then Irish whip Tech into the ropes, looking for a back body drop. This mistake gave Tech all the opening he needed and he used the loaded boot to kick the Samoan warrior right between the eyes, knocking him out. From there the three count was academic.
Winner: and still PWGP Television Champion, The Technician (9 points)
Following the match, The Guru celebrated at ringside. He pointed out how Tech now has nine points and BOB has seven, warning that Eli Buchanan better be ready to defend the Global Title soon because he had two challengers ready to take that title away from him in the near future. He went congratulate this client while Stratford and Carlyle once again wondered if we were looking at the next Global Champion.

We return to find Alan Hunter and East K Connection making their entrances to the ring. All three of them are dressed in street clothes, telling us all we need to know. This isn’t going to be a wrestling match, it’s going to be a fight. Sweet Daddy D tells the referee, Andrew Roller, to leave and on behalf of his trio, calls out the hooded goons that assaulted the three of them and Eli Buchanan two weeks ago.
It doesn’t take long for them to get an answer. Three men in masks, come out through the crowd and jump the barricade. They tease getting into the ring, but everytime Alan Hunter or one of the members of EKC step forward to confront them, they back away.
Eventually the three men in the ring have enough of these games, leading to Alan Hunter and Easy E hitting stereo dives on the three men on the arena floor. Sweet Daddy D quickly jumps out of the ring to join his friends and the three of them begin brawling with the masked men around the ring. Sweet Daddy D and one of the intruders fight their way up the entrance ramp, while Easy E clotheslines another over the barricade and the two begin brawling amongst the fans. Meanwhile Alan Hunter tosses the third into the ring and Andrew Roller, who has stuck around and perhaps has more guts than brains, calls for the bell, making this match officially on its way.

The masked men make Hunter and Sweet Daddy D watch as Easy E is set up for a super bomb that will see him crash all the way from the top. rope through the table on the arena floor.
