The show opens in an empty PWGP Exhibition Centre with the BUAC Spokesman Robert Fredrick standing in the middle of the ring. He apologies to everyone watch at home but there will be no live episode of PWGP Charge this evening. He goes on to explain that following last week’s episode the hooded assailants who attacked Alan Hunter, Sweet Daddy D and Easy E managed to escape from the full force of the PWGP roster, but not before causing a great deal of damage to the Exhibition Centre, resulting in its closer for repairs. Rather than try to find another location to put on the program, the BUAC ordered Robert Fredrick to give the roster the week off while repairs are completed and security measures to insure something like this never happens again.
Therefore, instead of live matches, tonight on the twentieth episode of “Charge” we will so highlights of some of PWGP most important matches so far, including the crowning of the company’s first ever Global Champion, as well as the PWGP International Tag Team Champions. Robert Fredrick hands the reins over to Greg Stradford who will act as the show’s host for the remainder of the evening.
Greg Stradford thanks Robert Fredrick and immediately takes us to clips from the first episode’s main event on “Charge” where we see Eli Buchanan get betrayed by his former ally, Kraken in the fatal four way match.

We return from break to find Greg Stradford introduce us to the next part of this story.
With this loss, Eli Buchanan found himself on the outside looking in, as the only member of the PWGP roster not allowed to participate in the upcoming Lethal Lottery where twelve lucky individuals would get the opportunity to advance to Battle Bowl, with the winner of that match becoming the first ever PWGP Global Champion. The BUAC would allow Eli Buchanan the opportunity to get back into the Lottery, and get some payback in the process. If he could beat Kraken in a cage match not only would he be entered back into the Lethal Lottery, Kraken and all the other members of Asper’s Army would be removed from the Lottery as well. However, Eli was walking into this match with a rib injury, in such condition was he up to the task of defeating the much bigger and stronger French Canadian Colossus.

Back from break Greg Stradford tells us that we’ll find out later in the show the Lethal Lottery shaped out and who would go on to become the winner of Battle Bowl, becoming the first ever PWGP Global Champion. First though, we are going to see how the PWGP International Tag Team Team Champions were crowned. The tournament began with sixteen teams, with four other companies sending duos to represent them. The final four saw The Wrecking Brew versus The Brute Squad and East K Connection versus The Demon Brigade:
With the final two decided, we would see The Wrecking Brew face off with The East K Connection in the finals of the tournament to crown the first ever of PWGP International Tag Team Champions. After the break we will see that match in full. Stay tuned.

We go to the finals of the PWGP International Tag Team Title tournament from PWGP Glory Road:
We hear from voice over from Greg Stradford after the match explaining the fall out of the match was that the following week on “Charge” where The Wrecking Brew would fail to win the titles from The East K Connection. We see True North Ant attack referee, Jose Doe after the match and the reveal that Doe was Philly Cheese Snake all along. Philly Cheese Snake had been forced to retire due to injuries he suffered at the hands of TNA two years ago and was forced to take on a job as a referee to make ends meet. He has since been cleared to compete and it’s clear the war between the former members of Strange Brew is far from over.
Since that point, no team has yet to attain the five point to challenge for the International Tag Team Title, although Surf ‘n Turf, with their “queen”, Gertrude Quest, have accumulated four points so far. Will they get the fifth point they need to challenge for the titles or will someone else do it fist? Only time will tell.
Stay tuned because after the break we will see highlights of the Lethal Lottery and Battle Bowl in full to come at the end of the show..

We’re back and shown quick clips of teams of Kraken and Mack Brody, The Technician and Alan Hunter, Cielo Guerrero and Sweet Daddy D, The Agents of Pain and Zaros and Vlars winning their respective matches. We go on to see Easy E attacked before he can team with Japanese star, Takeshi Morimoto to face GRIM and True North Ant. A replacement was required, but who would it be?
Eli Buchanan would walk out, much to the delight of the crowd and the anger of Saul Asper. Let’s go to the closing moments of that match:
Following that match, we now knew who the twelve men would be to face off in Battle Bowl to crown the first ever PWGP Global Champion. After our last commercial break we will show Battle Bowl in its entirety.

Without further ado, Battle Bowl 2018!

We go back to Greg Stradford to finish up the show. He points out that Eli Buchanan has successfully defended the PWGP Global Title four times since winning Battle Bowl and has proven himself a dominant champion. Recently though, things have taken a turn for the worse for him. We see clips of Eli Buchanan receiving a fireball to the face by a hooded figure following his
successful title defense against Kraken at “Glory Road” and then being attacked three weeks later by a large number of hooded individuals following his defense against Alan Hunter, where he was put through a burning announce table. Robert Fredrick and the BUAC have promised us that something like that sort of thing will never happen again.
Greg Stradford tries to finish off the program by telling us the matches we’ll see next week but the signal suddenly scrambles and a hooded figure appears on screen. He mocks the BUAC’s attempts at increasing their security and tells us he finds it laughable that they think there’s anyway to keep him and his followers out of the PWGP Exhibition Centre. The hooded figure warns that this is not the last we’ve seen of them and tells us this will not be over until Eli Buchanan is crushed and PWGP is destroyed. With that ominous warning the screen goes blank and the show comes to an unceremonious end.
Therefore, instead of live matches, tonight on the twentieth episode of “Charge” we will so highlights of some of PWGP most important matches so far, including the crowning of the company’s first ever Global Champion, as well as the PWGP International Tag Team Champions. Greg Stradford thanks Robert Fredrick and immediately takes us to clips from the first episode’s main event on “Charge” where we see Eli Buchanan get betrayed by his former ally, Kraken in the fatal four way match.
Eli’s back on his feet and tries to catch Hunter unawares with a running lariat clothesline. Hunter sees it coming and ducks it. He catches Eli with a stiff looking leg lariat and knocks Eli back to the mat. Seeing his opening, Hunter climbs to the top rope and goes for the Swanton Bomb, but Eli gets his knees up and Hunter catches them right between the shoulder blades and rolls out of the ring in pain. Eli is till down though and suddenly Bryant Adam Thompson leaps up on the top rope and goes for “The Bat Outta Hell” Phoenix Splash, but Eli manages rolls out of the way and Thompson crashes to the mat.
Alan Hunter tries to get into the ring, but the Agents of Pain and True North Ant suddenly arrive and they swarm him, which is met with an angry response from the crowd, while Saul Asper crows over his own genius. Back in the ring, Eli is getting to his feet and looks confused at what’s happening on the arena floor. He turns around to see Thompson getting to his feet, only for a bloodied Kraken to sideswipe him with a running shoulder. The French Canadian Colossus pulls Thompson to his feet and grabbing his right leg, hits a devastating leg trap chokeslam.
Greg Stradford is screaming his contempt for what we’re seeing here, clearly noting that this five star match was being ruined by Asper and his thugs. Paul Carlyle tells him to shut up and calls this plan brilliant because there’s no disqualifications in a fatal four way.
Kraken calls Eli over to make the pin. Still confused, Eli walks over. Kraken asks for a high five, but when Eli reciprocate, Kraken grabs him by the throat. Grabbing Eli’s legs, he lifts him up and drives him into the mat with a leg drop choke slam and to the shock of the announcers and the crowd goes for the three count.

Kraken decides to put Eli away with a leg trap choke slam and out of sheer desperation, Eli rakes his eyes. With the big man temporarily blinded, Eli hits a Boyame knee strike to Kraken’s chest, which brings Kraken to one knee. Eli hits a second Boyame and goes for the pin, but Kraken only gets a two count.
Eli looks shocked at what’s just happened. He begs with Roller that was three but the referee assures him it was only two. Eli charges in for another Boyamen, but Kraken catches him coming in, grabbing him by the throat. Eli counters, going for a triangle choke. It appears he’s got it locked in but Kraken’s just two big and he lifts Eli straight up and hits a colossal choke slam.
Shaking his head to clear the cobwebs, Kraken places his foot on Eli’s chest for the pinfall, but Eli manages to kick out at two. Shaking his head, Kraken picks Eli up and sets up for another choke slam, but Eli suddenly grabs him around the waist and hits a a over head belly-to-belly suplex. The crowd pops for the move, but it’s obvious it took too much out of him, as he lies on the mat grasping his shoulder in pain. He looks over and sees that Kraken isn’t moving and he starts crawling towards the door to escape the cage. He’s almost at the door, when Kraken gets up and grabs him by the foot and pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Eli manages to kick away from Kraken’s grip and getting up, rushing in with a lariat clothesline, rocking the big man. He goes for a second lariat, but Kraken catches him by the throat and hits a leg trap choke slam. Not satisfied, Kraken picks him back up and hits a second one
The crowd boos loudly as Kraken stands over Eli Buchanan. The big man puts a foot on Eli’s chest, but quickly changes his mind. taking his foot off Eli’s chest, Kraken makes his way to the door. Despite all the pain he’s in, Eli rolls to his chest and starts crawling after Kraken. The big man reaches the door just as Eli grabs him by the ankle. Looking down at him, with a smug look on his face, Kraken kicks Eli in the face, causing him to release his hold, and walks out of the cage.

The final four saw The Wrecking Brew versus The Brute Squad and East K Connection versus The Demon Brigade:
Jimmy Jive would come back in and hold his own against both members of EKC until his son jumped back into the ring and the match broke down. During the chaos Jive would hit the Hang Ten on Easy E and went for the pin. Easy E would get his foot on the ropes and much like he had done two weeks ago, Daniels ran over and knocked his foot off the rope. Jive saw what happened this time and broke the pin. The father and son would start arguing with each other and the East K Connection would take advantage hitting Jive with a double super, that knocked him out of the ring. Easy E would hit a the Seventh Move of Thunder on Daniels and picked up the pin.
Winners: and advancing to the tournament finals, The East K Connection
Winners: and advancing to the tournament finals, The East K Connection
The finish would see the Brute Squad go for their assisted cannonball senton but Brody pulled TNA to safety at the last moment. In the confusion Asper jumped up on the apron and spun Son’s mask around, leading to Brody lariating him over the top rope and Wrecking Brew put Mini away with the Doomsday Device.

We go to the finals of the PWGP International Tag Team Title tournament from PWGP Glory Road:
Prior to the match there is a photo taken with Robert Fredrick and both teams with the tag team belts. Both members of East K Connection have athletic tape on their shoulders, a sign of the attack they suffered at the hands of the Wrecking Brew earlier in the evening. It was obvious that Saul and his men were unhappy to see Jose Doe officiating the match but Fredrick refused to budge about making a change.
In the earlier going of the match of the match both members of the East K Connection fought off pure passion, blocking out the pain in an effort to get back at the Wrecking Brew for their earlier attack. Brody and TNA absorbed all their punishment and when an opening showed itself, used it to take control. Sweet Daddy D’s head was smashed into the ring post outside the ring and the Wrecking Brew began to work over Easy E in the middle of the ring.
Despite doing nothing during the contest to antagonise him, True North Ant would constantly get into Jose Doe’s face whenever he was in the ring. He and Brody made frequent tags, working over Easy E’s injured left shoulder to weaken him further for one of their finishing moves. Meanwhile Sweet Daddy D had made his way back onto the apron and was trying to get the fans unto the match, stomping on the apron to get them to clap along. This seemed to energize his masked partner and he tried to make a come back, but Easy E was leveled by a lariat by True North Ant that nearly took his head off and led to a two count.
It would be the continuous issues True North Ant had with Jose Doe that led to the tide changing. He went for a pinfall on Easy E following a running slam, but Easy E got his foot on the ropes. When Doe pointed this out to him, True North Ant got up and shoved him, leading to the referee shoving him back. This would give Easy E the opening to hit a desperation jawbreaker roll to his corner to tag in Sweet Daddy D, who came in and started clearing house. He hit several slams on both True North Ant, and more impressively, on Mack Brody, before climbing to the top rope and hitting a flying elbow smash on Brody. He would go for the pin but TNA would break it up.
Easy E would come back into the ring and the action would break down. All four men would begin fighting in the ring. In the middle of the chaos True North Ant picked Easy E up and hit the Red River Plunge but Doe refused to make the count since Sweet Daddy D was the legal man. True North Ant would try to deck the referee, but Jose Doe ducked and hit an atomic drop, which caused TNA to walk right into a superkick from Sweet Daddy D. Brody would try to interfere, but Sweet Daddy D sidestepped him and tossed him over the top rope. He tagged Easy E back into the match and Easy E would come off the top rope with a leg drop to get the pinfall victory.

The crowd erupts as The Last Dragon comes in and wastes little time taking the fight to his opponents. TNA takes a swing at him and Eli ducks, dropping him with a German suplex. GRIM suffers a similar fate as he tries to catch Eli with a Yakuza kick which Eli counters into an Exploder suplex. A second German suplex later and Eli signals for the end. He scoops GRIM up, looking for the Chaos Driver, but drops him as Saul Asper jumps up on the apron to distract him. True North Ant grabs Eli from behind and yells something at GRIM. GRIM clutches his throat and spits out the black mist but Eli manages to duck his head and True North Ant takes the brunt of it instead.
A stunned GRIM is speared by Takeshi Morimoto and rolls out of the ring. Morimoto and Eli looked at one another and smile. Eli picks a blinded True North Ant up into a vertical suplex, dropping the weight down onto Morimoto’s shoulders and the team hit their old finisher, a combination power bomb and neck breaker, which Stradford tells us they used to call “The Fire Driver”. Eli rolls on top of TNA for the cover and gets the three count.

Without further ado, Battle Bowl 2018!
It’s clear right off the start that battle lines have been drawn. On one side is Asper’s Army and The Technician, on the other is Buchanan, Morimoto, Sweet Daddy D, Alan Hunter and Cielo Guerrera, with Vlars and Zaros standing in between.
Right off the opening bell, Zaros tries to hide behind the bald man he teamed with earlier tonight as the remaining contestant go right at each other. Vlars is having none of it however, as he grabs the surprised goblin and tosses him clear over the top rope before jumping in to the meelee.
Eliminated: Zaros
With Vlars’s inclusion, the heel side gets numbers advantage and they slowly start to wear the “good guys” down. The announcers remind us that all four members of Asper’s Army walked into Battle Bowl tonight with very little fatigue and it becomes clear that this is adding to their advantage. As valiant as those standing against them try, in the early goings it’s all “Team Asper”. A mistake by Vlars leads to his elimination as Sweet Daddy D side steps an attack and tosses him over the top rope, but he too is quickly eliminated as Kraken and Brody grab a hold of him and throw him to the arena floor.
Eliminated: Vlars, Sweet Daddy D
Buchanan and his allies try to fight back and it looks like they might get the adavantage back, as Kraken accidently splashes Agent B in the corner and then ist double DDT’ed by Hunter and Morimoto. It’s short lived however as Guerrera goes for a rana on The Technician, who manages to block it. He and Agent D pick Guerrera up over their heads and toss him to the arena floor, thus putting the advantage well with Team Asper’s grasp.
Eliminated: Cielo Guerrera
Greg Stradford states the obvious, that it looks like Asper is going to get his wish, and wonders what will happen once all the Army’s enemies are gone. Carlyle acts like this is a stupid question and that everyone else will eliminate themselves so Kraken can become Global Champion.
The heels overconfidence seems to be getting the better of them, as instead of trying to eliminate the remaining few men who oppose them, they continue to beat down on them instead. This choice comes back to haunt them as Brody misses a kick, catching Agent D in the side of the head. Takeshi Morimoto seizes the opportunity to clotheline D over the top rope. Moments later, Eli Buchanan does the same thing, clothesling Agent B out of the ring.
Eliminated: The Agents of Pain
The action seems to break down as Morimoto faces off with The Technician, Eli Buchanan with Kraken and Alan Hunter with Brody. Try as he might, Buchanan cannot move the much bigger Kraken, who swats him away levels him with a running body attack. Meanwhile The Technican is working over Morimoto. He sees an opportunity off to his right, as Hunter has Brody in the corner and is raining down blows from the middle row. He charges over and knocks Hunter over the top ope, dumping him to the arena floor.
Eliminated: Alan Hunter
Tech and Brody, who once teamed together as the Texas Wrecking Crew, turn their attention back to Morimoto, who does his best to fight them both off at once. Kraken tosses Eli Buchanan over the top rope and goes over to help the two of them in their attack. None of them notice Eli Buchanan has landed on the apron and slips back in the ring. He charges across the ring. Kraken manages to sidestep him, but Eli’s own momentum causes Brody and Morimoto to tumble over the top rope and to the floor. Stradford points out that it looks like The Technician saw him coming and pulled down the top rope so that those two could be eliminated, but Carlyle argues that it looked like he was just trying to get out of the way.
Elimanted: “Iron” Mack Brody and Takeshi Morimoto
With this there are only three men left. Much like Stradford, Kraken is suspisious that Tech’s actions were intentional, but masked matman denies it and points a blaming finger at Eli Buchanan. The two of them turn to face Eli, who realizes he accidently eliminated his last ally and is all alone. He tries to prepare himself for the coming onslaught, but has no time as Kraken and Tech attack, driving him into the corner and start lying the boots to him. Kraken whips Eli across the ring into the opposite corner, then whips Tech into him. The Technician whips Eli back out of the cornern and right into a big boot from Kraken. They pick him up and toss him over the top rope but Eli lands on the apron. Kraken and Tech charge, but Eli surprises them both with a desperation springboard cross body block, taking them both down in the process.
All three men are slow to get up. The Technician is the first to his feet. He grabs Eli by the hair but the redhaired warrior grabs him around the waist and hits a belly to belly suplex. Kraken comes at him but Eli sees him coming and catches him in the gut with a stiff knee strike, bringing the French Colossus to his knees. Eli goes for the Boyame but gets sideswiped by a forearm blow from The Technican, who grabs him from behind and calls to Kraken to hit him. Kraken charges in with a running clothesline, but Eli ducks and Tech gets knocked over the top rope and to the floor.
Eliminated: The Technician
Kraken stands there, momentarily stunned at what’s just transpired. He turns to Eli and takes a wild swing at him, but ducks and grabs Kraken around the waist. To the shock of Kraken, Asper and everyone else in the Target Centre, Eli lifts him up and hits a thunderous German suplex. Dazed, Kraken gets up and stumbles back into the ropes. Still trying to knock the cobwebs out of his head he doesn’t have time to block Eli Buchanan as he roars in with a lariat clothesline, that flips him over the top rope. The French Colossus bounces off the apron and land hard on the arena floor as the roof of the Target Centre comes unglued. Eli Buchanan has done it!
Winner: and the first ever PWGP Global Champion, “The Last Dragon” Eli Buchanan

***
