MANAGER INFORMATION -
Cameron "Slam" Markham
REAL NAME - Cameron Markham
STAGE NAME - Cam "Slam" Markham
NICKNAME(S) - Slam, The Mean Old Bastard, Pops (by Bam only)
DATE OF BIRTH - 2/12/1955
PLACE OF BIRTH - Memphis, TN
HEIGHT & WEIGHT - Six-foot three and two-hundred sixty pounds.
DEBUT YEAR - 1975. Retired in 2005.
ALIGNMENT - Heel
CLIENTS - Bam Markham (grandson)
ALLIES - His grandson he helped train in wrestling. As the 90's once said... Doy.
RIVALS - Pretty much anybody not his flesh and blood... And even then, hates his son (Bam's dad).
PAST INJURIES - History of neck injuries, rib injuries.
BIOGRAPHY - Cam "Slam" Markham is a veteran of thirty years in the squared circle. Making his career as one of Memphis' premier bad guys, often times Cam incited near riots everywhere he went. As a career heel, Cam was the reverse Ricky Steamboat... A hated, miserable son of a bitch for the entirety of his career. Not even getting a retirement ceremony, he lost a Loser Leaves Town match in 2005 to his career rival Amos Tockwell's young son, Jake Tockwell.
He took to training Bam Markham on his 18th birthday after his grandson left home and was eventually Cam's clout that got Bam the tryout in Lion's Road. After keeping tabs on his grandson's progress and not liking results, Cam has stepped in the sport to continue his evil bastard grand-spawn's development into one day becoming top dog of Lion's Road.
EQUIPMENT - None. He flaunts a Hall of Fame ring, but too valuable to use as a weapon.
WALKOUT ATTIRE - All black get-ups. Usually a black t-shirt, jeans and a brown leather jacket (think a REALLY big version of current day Paul Ellering dressing while managing Authors of Pain)
CASUAL ATTIRE - See above.
WEAPONS - None.
MANAGING STYLE - All that trash talk and things Bam does? Cam taught him all that. But thirty years in the biz allowed him to become a brilliant strategist. Cam is a big guy himself, but he's of the Paul Heyman type if Paul was an abrasive, loud Southerner. He'll yell words of advice and game plans to Bam to keep him focused - he wants Bam to be the force to be reckoned with and doesn't cheat on his behalf. Rather, he's there to put over his grandson as the force he knows he can be.
MOVES - None, doesn't get physical due to previous career injuries.
