-”Iron” Mack Brody defeated MANDINGO with a lariat clothesline to pick up the knockout victory and earn his fourth point.
-The Big O successfully defended the King of the Dark Match crown, pinning Jeremy Squire with a splash in a match that lasted less than a minute.
PWGP “CHARGE” opens with Surf ‘n Turf and Gertrude Quest barging into Robert Fredrick’s office just as he’s about to address the continued attacks by these hooded assailants who have plagued PWGP for the last month. Quest demands that her team get a rematch with the East K Connection for the International Tag Team Titles, siting that they would have won the match last week if Vlars hadn’t interfered midway through it. Robert Fredrick stands by senior referee, Andrew Roller’s decision and how he can’t call what he can’t see. He goes on to suggest that they were in fact responsible for Roller not seeing what happened due to their own underhanded tactics, but goes on to say they’ll have a chance to earn another shot at the tag team titles next week if they can defeat Vlars and a partner of his choosing. He then shoos them out of his office and lets out a long sigh as the screen fades.
We go down to ringside in the PWGP Exhibition Centre, where we are formally greeted by our commentary team, Greg Stradford and “Big Bad” Paul Carlyle. The duo bring up what happened last week, the East K Connection successfully defended their International Tag Team Titles against Surf ‘n Turf, only to be attacked by two mysterious hooded individuals who sprayed them in the face with the dreaded green mist. The good news is both Sweet Daddy D and Easy E recovered fully from the attack with no permanent damage done to their eyesight. The question is, who are these mystery assailants and is there any way to stop them from continuing their attacks.
Stradford and Carlyle send it over to our ring announcer, Nick Christoulos, to make the opening match introductions.
MATCH 1
Four Team Elimination Match
The Moondogs (Buster and Runt, w/ The Guru, 2 points)
vs
The Things (Uno and Dos, 2 points)
vs
O2 (Orville Newton and The Big O, 0 points)
vs
“High Five” Jimmy Jive and James Daniels (0 points)
Referee: Eddie Tims
Before the match it’s pointed out by our commentary team that Jive and Daniels don’t appear to be on the same page. Jive is trying to give his son some last-minute instructions but it’s clear that Daniels isn’t listening and is more interested in starting the match.
James Daniels and Orville Newton start off the match for their respective teams, while the Moondogs and the Things are clearly satisfied with letting the other two teams fight it out. Carlyle likes this strategy, siting that both the Moondogs and the Things hold two points each and only need to win the deciding fall to earn a furture International Tag Team Title shot, where as O2 and the father son tandem would have to beat all three other teams to earn their shot.
Daniels and Newton square off. At first Daniels appears to have things in his favour with his strength advantage. Newton shows why he is a true student of the game by countering out of an attempted wrist lock and turns it into a pinning combination for a near fall. Daniels gets up swinging and almost gets pinned a second time after Newton rolls him up after ducking a wild swing. What’s to follow was a series of counters between the two young men, with Newton in control for the most part and Daniels just managing to find ways to get out of pinning predicaments. It’s a knee to the guts that leads Daniels to finally get the advantage, leaving Newton to try counting out of a side headlock, but Daniels grabs a handful of hair and reapplies the headlock.
Jive is less than pleased by his son’s actions and admonishes him over the cheap tactics. He orders his son to tag him in, which Daniels reluctantly does. This also allows for Orville to tag in his own partner, the Big O. Big O quickly levels Jive with a huge clothesline. Daniels tries jumping on his back, but gets tossed off. Soon all three teams, including the Things and Moondogs, are trying their best to take the big man down, realizing he is the biggest threat in the match. All six men end up dog-piling on top of him but Newton breaks up the pin attempt as best as he can. A brawl between the four teams breaks down. Big O starts tossing bodies out of the ring, only to have Daniels send Orville crashing into him and rolling Newton up with a handful of tights to pick up to the pin.
Eliminated: O2
Jive saw how his son pinned Newton, but doesn’t get a chance to admonish Daniels over his actions before they’re both attacked by the Moondogs and tossed out of the ring. Things Uno and Dos immediately enter and the old rivalry between these two teams quickly reignited before our eyes, as the two teams start tearing into one another. The hated rivals fight back and forth, until Buster tumbles out of the ring after a double dropkick from the Things. Runt is whipped into the ropes and the Things miss Daniels getting the blind tag on Runt, before they back body drop the smaller Moondog. Thing Dos goes to the top rope for a flying sunset flip but Daniels chooses this moment to rush in and shove him off, to the floor below, and nails Uno with a kick to the knee and a ddt for the near fall.
Jive is still unhappy with his son’s antics so far but accepts the tag from Daniels anyway when offered. The father son team make frequent tags over the next few minutes, wearing Thing Uno down. Thing Dos managed to get to his feet and tried to get back on the apron, but was attacked by the Moondogs. This didn’t sit well with Jive, who tried pointing it out to Eddie Tims. Daniels tried to get his father to concentrate on beating Uno but Jive was more concerned about the lack of fair play. He ended up tagging Daniels back in and rushing out to go to the aid of Dos. An angry Daniels screamed at his dad out of frustration as Jive fought off both Moondogs on his own. Daniels was caught off guard by Uno and almost pinned with a roll up, but Eddie Tims was too busy trying to break up the fight between Jive, Dos and the Moondogs to see it. Uno tried to get Tims’s attention, but this only allowed Daniels time to grab Buster’s bone and club Uno across the back of the head with it. Once again Jive saw the whole thing, but could do nothing to stop Eddie Tims from turning around and counting the pin as Daniels covered Uno.
Eliminated: Things Uno and Dos
Jive finally managed to free himself from the fight with the Moondogs to get in the ring and got into his son’s face about his antics. Buster and Runt looked to be about to jump them, but the Guru held them back as the father and son started to argue. Jive was clearly angry about the cheating but Daniels was just as upset that his dad refused to do what was needed to win. Jive seemed reluctant to do so but eventually pointed out that Daniels had promised to listen to what he instructed. Daniels would reply, “not anymore” and kicked his father straight up the middle and stormed out of the ring while the crowd booed.
With Daniels gone and making no effort to look back, the Moondogs swept in to pick the bones. Buster scooped Jive up, and despite Eddie Tims asking him to simply pin the man, power slammed him in the middle of the ring. Runt followed up with a double stomp from the top rope and covered Jive for the pin. With little other choice, Eddie Tims made the three count and awarded the match to Buster and Runt.
Winners: The Moondogs (3 points)
Right after the match, the Guru got in the ring and hugged his team. Orville Newton and the Big O came back out to check on Jive, who was still down, and the Things. Big O ended up carrying Jive to the back, while Newton and Dos helped out a dazed Uno. The segment ends with the Moondogs and their manager still celebrating in the ring and the commentators wondering if they’ll cash in their title match next week.

As we return, we find ourselves in the locker room. Faititli is getting ready for his match tonight, when Bryant Adam Thompson arrives and confronts him about not being in his corner last week. Faititili apologizes but points out that he couldn’t stand back and allow Philly Cheese Snake to take a beating from Asper’s Army last week. Thompson points out he should have done just that, they beat Asper’s Army at their own game back at “Glory Road” and Thompson thinks it’s best to forget about them and allow Philly to fight his own battle, before the snake man pulls Faititili down with him. Faititili doesn’t agree though and tells Thompson, he’s already agreed to team with Philly later tonight, but promises to be there if Thompson needs backup during the main event against The Technician. Thompson doesn’t seem all that pleased to hear about Faititili’s match, but wishes him luck and leaves him to finish getting ready for his match.

MATCH 2
Axel Moros (1 point)
vs
BOB (w/ The Guru, 9 points)
Referee: Mark Lindsey
The commentators remind us there’s a lot of history between these two big men, including Axel being the only man to ever pin BOB when he defeated him for the Television Title, and that BOB played a big part in Axel losing the title to the Technician and the subsequent rematch a week later. There are huge implications tonight, as a win would give BOB the ten points needed to challenge for the Global Title, and it was still unclear whether Eli Buchanan would be cleared to compete next week should he be required to defend the title.
The match itself was anything but pretty. As the commentators pointed out, these two men were almost completely equal matches for one another. The two of them started off hot, throwing fists at one another and trading headbutts, the latter resulting of duelling chants of “BOB” and “AXEL” from the live crowd. Axel eventually got the better of the exchange, with a series of headbutts that actually appeared to stun BOB. He would display his amazing strength by scoop BOB up and slamming him to the mat. Axel tried to follow-up by stepping out of the ring apron and heading towards the top rope, but the Guru got between him and the corner. This allowed BOB to get up and knocking Axel off the apron, right on to the ringside barricade.
With his opponent down on the arena floor, BOB quickly stepped out of the ring and went back on the attack. He too showed his might strength, picking Axel up and slamming him down on the concrete floor. Following orders from his manager, Bob would start whipping Axel into the barricade and into the ring posts several times before finally tossing him into the ring and going for the pin, but Axel managed to kick out at two. The Guru would order BOB to the second rope and yelled at him to hit a diving headbutt. BOB would comply but Axel would roll out of the way, leaving BOB to smash his face into the mat.
Both men were slow to get up as Mark Lindsey started making the count. Both men slowly made it to their feet and ended up trading blows once more. Shouts of “BOB” and “AXEL” rang out in the PWGP Exhibition Centre, as the two big men started trading headbutts again. The finish would see Axel once again getting the better of the exchange and he would try to pick BOB up for the Cartwheel DVD. The Guru would grab his foot under the bottom rope and tripping him up, leading to BOB landing on top of him. The Guru held Axel’s foot down, out of Mark Lindsey’s vision and the referee would count three.
Winner: BOB (10 points)
A shocked Axel Moros would sit up, a shocked look on his face, as the Guru and BOB quickly made their exit from ringside. Paul Carlyle was quick to point out that this now meant that the Guru controlled the contracts of the number one contenders for both the Global Title and the International Tag Team Titles. The Moondogs and the Technician came out to celebrate on the stage with the Guru and BOB, while a frustrated Axel simply sat there dejected that the Guru and his men got another one over him. We go to break with all the members of Guru’s stable still celebrating on stage.
***
Back from break, the Guru and his men have taken their celebration to the back hall. Robert Fredrick appears and the Guru immediately announces that he wants the Moondogs’s International Tag Team Title shot and BOB’s Global Title shot to take place next week. The BUAC spokesman agrees immediately, but then announces that he’s done with the shenanigans here tonight. He understands that the Guru and his men are necessarily responsible for all of it tonight, but even so, he is banning the Guru and the Moondogs from the arena and has security immediately escort the three from the building.
Robert Fredrick leaves a stunned Guru and Tech standing there as he walks off and comes out in front of the live crowd. He apologizes to the crowd, stating he feels like he’s let all of them and the BUAC down by not being able to put an end to these attacks by the hooded assailants. Fredrick promises though that these attacks will stop one way or another. He goes on to invite the group’s leader to meet with him here next week, with a proposition for them, but announces that if they attack anyone at all the deal is off the table. He wishes us a great evening and prays that we’ll enjoy the remaining matches on the show tonight. As he leaves, the commentators speculate over what this all means. What’s this proposition of his and how will it affect PWGP going forward as far as these attacks are concerned.

MATCH 3
Philly Cheese Snake and Faititili (0 points)
vs
The Agents of Pain (Agents B & D w/ Saul Asper, Mack Brody and True North Ant, 0 points)
Referee: Eddie Tims
Philly and Faititli seem to have some great chemistry going before the match and this immediately translates into the opening few minutes of the match. Despite their size disadvantage, the makeshift team catches the Agents off guard with their speed and high-flying attacks. The Agents finally manage to get a hold of their opponents and it looks like Faititli and Philly are in for a world of hurting, when out of nowhere, Philly catches Agent B in a small package and gets the three count.
Winners: Philly Cheese Snake and Faititil (1 point)
Faititli and Philly quickly scramble out of the ring and into the crowd to escape from the Agents, TNA and Asper. All the members of Asper’s Army are livid but there’s little they can do about it and we go to break seeing Eddie Tims enter the crowd to raise the victors hands, before they make their way to the back.

MAIN EVENT
MATCH 4
PWGP Television Title Match (10 Minute Time Limit)
The Technician (champion, w/ The Guru, 7 points)
vs
Bryant Adam Thompson (w/ Faititili, 2 points)
Referee: Andrew Roller
Before the match even starts, Tech, the Guru and even Paul Carlyle are all complaining that Faititili is being allowed at ringside. Stradford informs us that Faititli is being allowed to second Thompson due to their previous alliance and to counteract the presence of the Guru, but Carlyle keeps insisting he should be banned from ringside because he isn’t a licensed manager like the Guru is.
Faititli’s presence throws Tech off his game in the early moments of the match. He continues to look over at the Samoan warrior and seems hesitant to go anywhere near his corner. Thompson has no problem taking advantage of the situation, doing his best to keep the action as close to Faititili as possible. At one point Thompson hits a headscissors takeover that sends Tech flying out of the ring, right at Faititili’s feet. A shocked Technician would quickly scramble into the ring and eat a dropkick from Thompson for a near fall.
The Technician would roll back out of the ring and go to his manager’s corner to gain some advise. When he rolled back into the ring, he appeared much more confident. He and Thompson would lock up in a collar and elbow tie up and he hit a surprise hip toss. Thompson would hold on though and roll through into a wrist lock on the mat. Tech would counter out of the move and the two of them would chain wrestler much to the delight of the crowd. The cheers though turned to boos as Tech finally resorted to raking the eyes and sending Thompson into the ring post to finally gain full advantage of the match.
Tech would go to work on Thompson’s shoulder and neck area, making an effort to go for as many pinfall attempts as well in an effort to make Thompson waste as much energy as possible. Meanwhile outside the ring, the Guru keeping an eye on his wrist watch, shouting out how much time was left before the time limit exceeded. This led to Tech doubling his efforts to pin Thompson quickly so he could regain the two points he lost last week, which would leave him one away from getting a Global Title shot.
The Technician hooked Thompson by the leg and hit a fisherman’s suplex, looking for the pin. Thompson managed to kick out, but Tech was undeterred. He pulled Thompson up and signalled he was going to go for another fisherman but Thompson blocked it by freeing his leg and hooking his foot around Tech’s leg. The Technician would manage to muscle Thompson up in a vertical suplex, but the Notorious B.A.T. suddenly turned it into an Stunner. Both men were down but Thompson managed to drape an arm over Tech after a few seconds and got a near fall.
While both men struggled to get to their feet, Faititili was banging on the mat trying to get his friend back in the match. A cry from the crowd caught his attention and he looked up at the stage to find Asper’s Army dragging a beaten Philly Cheese Snake out on stage. Faititli would grab a chair and go to the snake man’s aid. Thompson saw him go, but didn’t seem to care. With Faititili keeping the attention of Asper’s Army off him and the rest of the Guru’s men banned from the PWGP Exhibition Centre, Thompson began to build momentum for himself, hitting Tech with a series of headscissors and arm drags.
Up on stage, Faititili had chased off Asper and his goons with the chair. He bent down to check on Philly Cheese Snake, and was blindsided by Brody, who hadn’t appeared on stage a few minutes earlier to taunt the Samoan warrior. This led to all the members of Asper’s Army returning and they continued the pounding on both men, with them tossing Faititli and Philly Cheese Snake down the ramp towards the ring.
Back in the ring, Thompson leveled the Technician with a spin heel kick. He turned to see his friend in trouble and quickly acted, hitting a springboard somersault plancha on all of them. He rolled back into the ring and started yelling insults at the members of Asper’s Army, missing out on the Technician kicking the mat with his orthopedic boot. As he turned around and went to pick Tech up, he took a kick to the side of the face and crumpled to the mat. Tech rolled him over and draped his arm overtop of Thompson, picking up the three count.
Winner: and still PWGP Television Champion, The Technician (9 points)
The Guru quickly pulled his client out of the ring as Asper’s Army entered and surrounded Thompson. The four members of Saul Asper’s stable proceeded to stomp away on Thompson, before dragging Philly and Faititi into the ring and laying them out beside Thompson. The show went off the air with Asper’s Army standing triumphant and the commentators wondering what Robert Fredrick and the BUAC thinks about this and can anything be done to stop this gang mentality that seems to be growing here in PWGP. You’ll have to tune in next week to find out and witness two huge title matches as well!
So, in the meantime and in between time… Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you.
