From the River City! Grand Rapids, Michigan! Hello again and welcome to Lion's Road and Great Lakes Pro-Wrestling! Sam Hewitt here at ringside along with Brian Shelzi and we've got a phenomenal program ladies and gentlemen! In the main event of the evening, you're going to see Justin Seville challenge Bam Markham for the Heritage Heavyweight title! We're also going to see a grudge match between "The Crippler" Ben Chrenshaw and "Dynamite" David Troy. Plus there's a Triangle Survival - Pat Cross, Hammerstein and Joe Stanton each vying for a chance to meet the Heritage Champion two weeks from now in South Bend, Indiana.

BRIAN SHELZI

Hold on, Sammy! Let's talk about that grudge match! Ben Chrenshaw doesn't lose in singles competition very often and the list of men that hold multiple victories over him is a short one, but David Troy is one of those men. He pinned him in the Heritage Cup and he pinned him again back in April when the two were involved in the Four Corner Survival to determine a new Heritage Champion. And tonight Troy is determined to beat him again.

SAM HEWITT

Before we get to the matches this evening, let's take you back to this past Sunday in Tokyo, Japan...

JUNE 3rd - TOKYO, JAPAN

GRIM pulls himself back up and AJ grabs his wrist... HOLY OUCH!!! AJ pulls GRIM up to his feet, he gestures with a throat slash! He's looking for Knightfall!! GRIM shoves him backwards into the ropes!! Spinning heel kick! AJ is staggered- REAR NAKED CHOKE! AJ pries at the injured hand! Armbreaker! GRIM releases the hold! AJ whips around ROARING ELBOW! AJ nails a snap suplex, AJ swivels the hips to pull the two of them back up, and a second snap suplex! He swivels the hips again keeping GRIM on his feet. He lets go setting up for a superkick... GRIM ducks... Scoops him up... TOMBSTONE!!! The crowd goes silent as both men are down!!

TIM FLOSS:
This could be it! If he can cover here we may have a new champion!

ALBERT MORDECAI:
He spiked him! GRIM may strike a decisive blow of the Demon Brigade right here!

GRIM drapes the arm across the champion's chest!

WAIT!! NO!! AJ just barely gets the shoulder up!

GRIM can't believe it! He's questioning the ref's count! He holds firm! GRIM stares a hole through the referee before turning his attention back to the champion, GRIMMY Winner shouts from ringside "Try it the other way boss!" And GRIM gets a sickening grin as he delivers the throat slit gesture...

TIM FLOSS:
Oh no... This move nearly broke Masatake Kawamata's neck on night 1 if he hits this...

ALBERT MORDECAI:
If he hits this then we'll have a new World Champion Timmy!

GRIM drags AJ off of the mat and pulls him into position to hoist him up for a Powerbomb... He's got him up GANSO- NO AJ TWISTS OUT OF THE HOLD WRENCHING ON THE HAND AND LANDING ON HIS FEET! He pulls him in- HOLY OUCH!!! AJ drops to a knee to catch his breath, before pulling his challenger into position for Knightfall-GRIM shoves AJ backwards and tries for a lariat- AJ ducks- SUPERKICK!!

TIM FLOSS:
It's anyone's game right now, but AJ looks like he's got GRIM in trouble!

ALBERT MORDECAI:
You're not the only one who thinks so, look!

Jin Hirai jumps up on the apron, which AJ notices! GRIMMY Winner sneaks up from behind with a handful of something... AJ turns... HE DUCKS THE POWDER!! IT HIT GRIM!!! KNIGHTFALL ON GRIMMY WINNER!!! AJ runs across... and dropkicks Hirai off the apron! AJ turns his attention back to GRIM.. POISON MIST!! AJ DUCKS!! ROLL UP!! 1-2-3- NO GRIM KICKS OUT!!! AJ rolls him over... WRINKLE IN TIME!!!

GRIM TRIES TO CLAW HIS WAY TO THE ROPES! BUT HE CAN'T REACH WITH HIS INJURED HAND...

... AJ STARTS UNLOADING STOMPS ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD...

GRIM GOES LIMP!!! THE REFEREE PULLS AJ OFF AND CALLS FOR THE BELL!!! HE RETAINS THE TITLE!!!

TIM FLOSS:
The Demon Brigade's tactics blew up in their face here tonight as AJ retains in a hard fought match!

ALBERT MORDECAI:
Like I said: you live by the sword you die by the sword. I think that's the first time AJ's ever won by knockout though.

Hirai and Winner help to collect the beaten GRIM as out from the back comes Tokyo Zombie staring a hole through AJ as he celebrates the victory. AJ notices him and holds his title high over head standing on the ropes.

TIM FLOSS:
Zombie making his intentions perfectly clear.

Backstage AJ Knight and Becky Chande stand ready for another interview.

BECKY CHANDE
I am here with World Champion AJ Knight, who is making a triumphant return after making 2 successful title defenses in the span of less than two weeks. First a defense against David Troy in the Laurentide Cup Finals, and then a highly impressive defense against GRIM in Japan. There's been a lot of talk about your busy schedule as Champion, and in three weeks in Chicago, you will defend the belt against former World Champion Alexander Irvine. As tough as your schedule has been so far though, still many more challengers waiting in the wings for you. How are you holding up?

AJ KNIGHT

Well, frankly things have been going great for me so far. I've been champion for a little over a month now, and I've already matched two out of the other 4 King of the Lion's Champions defense records and surpassed the other, and there's a lot more where that came from! See they love me out there in Max Japan, and I'm already in talks for another defense out there in Japan in early July, we're looking at Tokyo Zombie as a potential challenger. Additionally, we've begun negotiations for the title fight between myself and Billy Danielson. That's the match so many people want to see right now. Frankly, I think that match is the biggest potential draw in the sport right now: The best fighting the best. Now we're still in the early stages of the negotiation process, we're working out the purse for the fight, but I feel confident this match will be coming along very soon. Not to mention a summer blockbuster against Matt Pulver, and frankly you can see why I'm riding high. With all these title fight coming up I'm going to have 6 defenses by the end of the summer. But all of that comes to rest on Chicago, June 28th at the Chi-Town Rumble.

AJ KNIGHT

It's beautiful isn't it, Beck to the Future? See I consider this the highest honor of my career. I am proud as all hell to be the World Champion of Lion's Road, and I have made every effort to represent this title to the best of my ability. 42 days as champion and I've already surpassed my challenger this month who held the title for over twice as long as I have so far. He had two defenses, but he had a draw in one of those defenses, and only avoided a draw in the other by a second. It's like I told him the night he lost that title: Irvine was never a true king. He was just keeping the title warm for a real king. Edwards certainly wasn't that king either. He was a fine wrestler, no question but mentally he just didn't have it in him to be the World Champion. I have big plans for this title, and I have shown that I'm the only one who can do it. My goal until April was to become the champion, but now that I've conquered that mountain I've got a new one.

Dramatic pause...

AJ KNIGHT

By Midnight on December 31st, 2018, Julian Cutlass' 9 defense record will be no more. And in its place will be my history making title reign, with 10 defenses in 8 months. Honestly David Troy had the right idea. He wanted to take on the world, proving the supremacy of the King of The Lions not just throughout Lion's Road, but to the world of wrestling at large. In the end, Alexander Irvine and his "WALL" can't stop me from achieving my destiny. He tried at Roaring Rumble last winter, but in the end he could only delay the inevitable by a few months. He can't delay it this time. This time I'll leave him laying in the ring, and go on my merry way as the one true KING of Lion's Road!

Becky Chande backs away as she spots someone off camera. AJ smirks as the figure steps into frame.

AJ KNIGHT

Alexander Irvine. Speak of the Devil.

Irvine launches forward to shove the champion and sends AJ flying into the wall behind him.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

When did I ever give you the permission to speak to me you little fuck.

AJ starts to move towards Irvine in retaliation, but Knights good ol' buddy Hammerstein walks into view followed by Carl Whitaker and Justin Seville, both wearing smirks on their faces. The three men wear W.A.L.L. t-shirts on their chest that match the one on Irvine, that reads "General" on the back.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

You know AJ, you claim to be different, the new Ace, the true King of Lion's Road, but your just more of the same old garbage. Young trash trying to get in the door by piggy backing on those better then you. I almost drew in both my defenses...

Irvine smirks as he points to Whitaker.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

Look at the calibre of talent I fought versus Troy and some MAX-J piece of garbage you fought. I fought Stonehands while you beat a man who stabs opponents with forks. I give shots to real men, and real men unite under a real cause.

Irvine moves closer to AJ and drives his finger into the title, trying to shove it into AJ's chest.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

You're still nothing more than a little boy AJ, mouthing off like a drunken frat boy. You want to jump between two federations, so you can get more easy title defenses like Becky bouncing from cock to cock at a college party looking for love, be my guest.

Becky's jaw drops as she moves to hit Irvine, but Seville grabs her arm. AJ moves to push past Irvine, but the last three members of The W.A.L.L. reach out with their massive hands and push him back against the wall. Irvine holds him by the throat as the other two rest on his shoulders.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

GRIM got his shot because you wanted a second notch on your belt you knew you could win, well I guarantee you that trash Zombie will never get his moment in the sun here because you're not going to make it past me. There's a change happening, and you can hear it every time I walk on screen, the boos are starting to ring with cheers. People need a real leader, not another child king who learned to fight from his sister.

The three men pull their hands-off AJ and turn their backs to him, walking off like three bullies after shaking a kid down for money.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

Time to drain the swamp AJ, and it starts with you.

AJ's eyes burn a hole in their backs as his cell phone begins to ring, he hits ignore.

Joe Stanton is standing-by backstage, he adjusts his sunglasses and clears his throat.

"Why, you ask Hammerstein? Why not do something about what you did sooner?"

The Scarlet Speedster puts his hands on his hips and he looks down, perhaps giving that question some genuine thought. He looks back up and he takes a sharp inhale.

"In this sport we are professional wrestlers by trade. Now I know some don't take that title very seriously but I do. I do. I try my best to conduct myself like a professional for the companies I fight for, for every facet of who I am in this industry. Being a professional means not hunting down the next show you're on and dragging you out of it by the throat like you're some disobedient animal on the farm that needs to be taken out back behind the shed. Because believe me, Jacob, the thought had crossed my mind when my mind was clear enough to even have thoughts cross it."

There's a hand motion to all around him when he talks of professional wrestlers, as if taking note of the entire locker room. He maintains a composed, quiet tone when he explains why that title is important. Intensity enters his voice when he describes a what-if scenario of what he could've done to Hammerstein but even then his voice never raises.

"But that's what you'd do, because you're not a professional, Hammerstein. No matter what manager you get, how many championships you win, how many match of the night candidates you put on, no matter where you wrestle, who you surround yourself with, whatever latest Jenny Craig diet you are on now, you're not a professional. You're a thug. You're no different than the thug that would rob any one of these fine people here tonight if the opportunity presented itself. You have no respect or honor. You're not a man of principles."

Shaking his head, through gritted teeth Joe explains the difference between Hammerstein and him. He points at the camera when he describes what Jacob is.

"You're a mad dog. One that's been biting strangers, chasing after cars and barking at the moon without any consequences for far too long if you were to ask me. The type of mongrel that they call in something to deal with it..."

Pausing, a knowing smile rests on Joe's face and with some satisfaction he says the closing line.

"A professional."

Cut away.

GREAT LAKES PRO-WRESTLING WILL RETURN

Kalamazoo, Michigan - June 14th

We join the Triangle Survival in progress. Hammerstein is on the apron, Carl Whitaker - his second, is buying his WALL stablemate some time by trash talking Pat Cross. Cross kicks the ropes, backing Whitaker up before Hammer tries to leap up and strike him but Cross absorbs the shot and returns fire with a thunderous club to the back. With Hammer knelt down, Cross reaches over the top and hooks 'em up for a suplex. He stands tall, holding him up there as he shows off his strength while Robbie Morris looks up in awe. Hammer swats at the referee, trying to grab him and clearly this serves to distract him from Whitaker reaching in and tripping Cross. Hammer's two hundred and forty five pounds lands on top!

BRADY ROSSEN

Pat Cross has been eliminated!

Hammer rolls off and tries to laugh, but Joe Stanton is on him like a bee on honey! The Scarlet Speedster batters him with shots before bringing him up to his feet, he tries an arm wringer but Hammer lights him up with a couple forearm shots and backs him into the ropes. Hammer shoots him out, Stanton rebounds off the opposite set and gets grabbed by Whitaker but the Guy in Shades avoids the trip and turns around - yelling at Ol' Stonehands. Hammerstein lariats Stanton from behind, dropping him to his knees and then push kicks him out of the ring to earn him a yellow card. Morris raises it high for the fans to see, then tries to hold Hammerstein back as he exits the ring. He grabs Stanton and rams him shoulder first into the ring post while Whitaker looks on.

SAM HEWITT

Whitaker holding his arms up as though he's innocent in this whole thing.

BRIAN SHELZI

He is! Morris has the right to eject him if he believes there's outside interference afoot, but has he? No, so Whitaker is obviously innocent.

Hammerstein throws Stanton back inside the ring and stomps on his chest before rolling him over onto his stomach, then dropping an elbow on the lower back. He then climbs up, placing his knee on the lower back and clutching his hands around Stanton's chin to crank up the pressure. Hammer begins fish hooking the mouth and Morris orders him to break it, giving him a five count - Hammer breaks at four and drives another knee into the back. The Grand Rapids fans begin rallying behind Stanton, even Hammerstein gets in on it chanting along with them as he brings Stanton to his feet. Stanton swings, but misses - Hammer knees him in the gut and the fan favourite falls against the ropes. Morris tells Hammer to hold off and let Stanton off the ropes, but he pushes him aside and goes after it...

STANTON MISSES ON HIS SWING!

SPINEBUSTER!

Hammer drives him down into the middle of the ring, Whitaker tells the camera that it makes him proud! Hammer covers!

NO!

Hammer looks at Whitaker, "what do you say?" and gets a nod from the Bull. Hammerstein gets up, drags Stanton to his feet and hooks him up for a suplex.

BRIAN SHELZI

Here comes the Hammersteiner, I hope we've got the postage to mail his carcass back to Chicago.

Stanton is picked up, but no sir. Hammerstein tries again, but still can't do it. Hammer lets go, but grabs Stanton and leads him over to the turnbuckles where he tries to smash his head into the buckles, but the Guy in Shades blocks it! Stanton slams Hammer's head instead! The Michigan fans love it!

10!

Hammerstein slumps in the corner, Stanton grabs him and pulls him out...

BUTTERFLY SUPLEX!

Stanton goes to make the cover, but Whitaker jumps on the apron. The Scarlet Speedster backs up...

SPINNING BACK FIST! THE BLACK DOG TO WHITAKER!

SAM HEWITT

Great ring awareness by Stanton! He seen him jumping on the apron, but didn't give away that he knew!

Stanton pushes Whitaker off the apron, Hammerstein starts to his feet. Stanton turns around, Hammer swings...

STANTON CATCHES THE ARM!

STO!

SAM HEWITT

And Joe Stanton is going to South Bend, Indiana as the number one contender!

Stanton raises his arms high, then sees Whitaker recovering and fuming on the floor. Ol' Stonehands is about to rush the ring when he gets grabbed from behind by Pat Cross, the big man from Juneau throws him backwards into the rail! Security mobs the scene, trying to separate Cross from Whitaker.

BRIAN SHELZI

What a sore loser! You can't teach being big, but you can teach good sportsmanship and I guess they don't do much of it up in Alaska.

Cross is yelling at Whitaker, who is now being attended to by medical staff and a groggy Hammerstein. Stanton runs up to Cross, trying to calm the situation himself but the big man is livid!

Welcome back to Great Lakes Pro-Wrestling. We mentioned at the top of this program that we would take a look back to two weeks ago at the Buffalo Stampede to see what transpired in the World's title main event to fuel this upcoming bout between Ben Chrenshaw and David Troy.

MAY 24th - BUFFALO, NEW YORK

BUFFALO STAMPEDE

KOL World's Heavyweight Championship Match

Fury fills the champion's eyes as he swings, Troy ducks... DROPKICK! The champion sails backwards, Troy hits the mat with a thud and tries to quickly follow up but his body won't allow him to. AJ darts back to his feet and then falls into a three point stance, he watches out of the corner of his eye as Troy fights to hi--

SUPERK-NO!

Troy ducks, AJ stops himself in time to see Troy's leg coming at him! AJ puts up his arms, blocks the kick! The champion knees Troy in the stomach, clasps around his neck...

KNIGHTF-NO!

Troy drives him into the corner turnbuckles! AJ stiffens up, Troy takes a step back and turns AJ around. He hooks AJ's arms, then backslides him! Garner counts!

TROY PUTS HIS FEET ON THE ROPES

2...

CHRENSHAW SWATS THEM AWAY JUST AS GARNER NOTICES! Garner ejects Chrenshaw, but Troy is livid - he gets up and yells at the Crippler, asking if he wants to lose to him again. Garner issues a yellow card to Troy, who shoves past and grabs AJ...

SMALL PACKAGE!

3-NO!

TROY KICKS OUT!

"SON OF A BITCH!"

Troy mutters as he gets up, AJ stays on his knees as Dynamite comes to get him...

LEAPING ENZUIGIRI!

Troy staggers, AJ gets to his feet... pulls Troy in!

KNIGHTFALL DDT!

The Buffalo crowd erupts! AJ falls to the mat, Ben Chrenshaw comes running back down the aisle and slides in. His signature smirk is on his face as he gets to his feet, he extends his hand to AJ and pulls him up and hugs him!

We see David Troy inside the ring watching the screen, shaking his head.

BRIAN SHELZI

That's outside interference, Sam! David Troy should be the World's Champion! Feet on the ropes or not, Chrenshaw had no right to insert himself into the contest like he did.

SAM HEWITT

Perhaps not, but senior referee Cordell Garner made a judgment call. He ejected Chrenshaw following that, but kept the match going because he knows as well as you and I do that people want to see clean, definitive World's Championship bouts here in the Great Lakes. Brady, we'll send it to you.

Rossen is standing inside the ring.

BRADY ROSSEN

Ladies and gentlemen, this match is to be fought over a fifteen minute time limit with one fall, one submission or a knockout to decide the winner! Fighting out of London, England! He weighs in this evening at two hundred and thirteen pounds - BEN CHRENSHAW!

Chrenshaw smiles.

BRADY ROSSEN

His opponent fighting out of Blackwood, New Jersey! He weighs in this evening at two hundred and two pounds - DAVID TROY!

Troy doesn't do a damn thing, he stays leaned against the turnbuckles.

BRADY ROSSEN

Your referee for this bout is Cordell Garner!

Garner motions for the bell. Dynamite and the Crippler circle around before engaging in a collar and elbow tie-up, Troy pulls a side headlock and tries to do the Tiger Leg Sweep sequence but Chrenshaw blocks it and backs him up into the ropes, whipping him out into the opposite set. On the return, Troy tries a roundhouse kick but Chrenshaw catches it, trips him up and tries for the Wrinkle in Time! Troy wisely grabs the ropes as quick as he can to break up the hold. Both men get back to a vertical base and circle around, Chrenshaw eyeing that leg - he fakes a shot, Troy bites and responds with a shot of his own, Chrenshaw absorbs it as he's pushing in and grabs Troy in a rear waist hold. He drops a level, takes his leg out from underneath him and bends the knee backwards, using his shoulder to apply pressure. Chrenshaw slips his own knee onto the back of Troy's leg, continuing to crank on the foot and ankle.

SAM HEWITT

David Troy's face says it all - he's in a world of hurt, sweat pouring! He's got to get to the ropes.

As if he heard Sambo's words, Troy manages to roll closer and clutches the bottom rope to get a break. He doesn't get much of a break as Chrenshaw crowds him, pushing him back into the ropes where he quickly wraps Troy's affected leg around the middle rope. Garner begins his five count, but Chrenshaw cranks on it before releasing at four. He backs up and tries to go at it again, but Dynamite grabs his head and brings it down quickly into his knee! Chrenshaw crumples to the mat and rolls out as Troy tries to walk off the effects of the leg work, but winds up collapsing in the middle of the ring. Garner checks Chrenshaw out, then hops back in and checks Troy and begins the ten count on both men.

BRIAN SHELZI

There's the heart of a warrior, Sammy - David Troy has his leg worked over by Ben Chrenshaw and still finds it in him to waffle him with a knee strike. Yes, it was the opposite leg but you still need to balance on the bad leg to do it. Major kudos.

Garner's count reaches five, Troy is back up on his feet in the ring but limping quite a bit. Chrenshaw climbs in at eight and Troy immediately goes after him, several knees to the chest and abdomen follow as Dynamite backs the Crippler up into the corner and continues the onslaught. Garner tries to step in and separate them and does so, but not before Chrenshaw eats a big kick to the chest from the Laurentide Cup runner up. Troy backs up, but starts right back in...

CHRENSHAW POPS HIM WITH A HEADBUTT!

Troy falls to the mat, Chrenshaw stumbles out and tries to follow up but ends up tumbling to the mat again himself. After reaching four on his ten count, Chrenshaw slowly gets back up and shakes his head out, trying to regain his composure as he walks around. From the ground, Troy swings his hips and wallops the former Heritage Champion with a leg kick that brings him down to the mat! Both men lay on opposite sides, trying to muster up the energy to get back to a vertical base. Troy rolls onto all fours, Chrenshaw sits up and scoots over - kicking Troy's leg out from underneath him! Dynamite rolls on the mat, holding the leg in pain as Chrenshaw slowly gets to his knees, then up on his feet. He pulls Troy up and nails a forearm shiver that puts the kickboxer up against the ropes, he grabs his wrist and tries to whip him out but Troy holds on tightly. Chrenshaw tries again, but to the same tune. Finally, he decides to kick his leg! Chrenshaw grabs him and whips him again, this time he comes off the ropes but Troy reverses it and nails the Crippler with a leg lariat!

SAM HEWITT

There's that fortitude you talked about, Brian. His leg can't be feeling too hot after all the work Chrenshaw did in the early going, but he's still fighting away.

He covers!

NO!

Troy pulls Chrenshaw up and backs him into the corner, he backs up and fires off a kick to the chest then hobbles across the ring to the opposite corner. From there, he charges out as best he can looking for his running corner big boot. However, Chrenshaw steps forward and delivers a calf kick! Once again, both men are down! Chrenshaw gets up to his hands and knees and crawls over to Troy, who's up on all fours also - he grabs him in a front chancery then pulls him up to his feet. He executes a beautiful snap suplex and floats over for the cover.

3-NO!

Chrenshaw gets up and immediately tries to grab the leg for the single leg crab, but Troy upkicks him! Chrenshaw falls backwards into the corner, Troy rolls onto his hands and knees and tries to get up. Chrenshaw hoists himself onto the second rope, Troy gets to a knee but his leg won't hold him...

CHRENSHAW OFF THE SECOND ROPE - DIVING LEG DROP!

The leg comes down across Troy's neck, driving him head first into the mat. Chrenshaw lands and turns, quickly rolling Troy onto his back.

Chrenshaw rolls out of the ring to the floor where Garner raises his arm in victory. The replay begins.

BRIAN SHELZI

Here we've got Chrenshaw going for the single leg crab, Troy plays it smart and upkicks him - and gets him good. Chrenshaw falls back into the corner and sees an opportunity present itself while Troy's trying to get back up, his legs aren't working as they would. Chrenshaw comes off the second rope, guillotine leg drop to the BACK of Troy's head, driving him head first into the mat and the Crippler can rest a bit easier tonight knowing he avenged one of his losses to Dynamite David Troy.

Troy's being checked on by medics, but appears to be good - just not too happy about the loss.

Welcome back to Great Lakes Pro-Wrestling, fans. At this time I am joined by the matchmaker here in Lion's Road, the one and only Mandeville Nelson. Mandy, thanks for joining us here. What's on your mind?

MANDEVILLE NELSON

Sam, I just got off the phone with a fellow that these fans are pretty familiar with in Matt Pulver.

Big pop.

MANDEVILLE NELSON

He's watching from Minnesota tonight and he's been ringing up my phone since the Laurentide Cup ended, asking for one man.

The fans know who.

MANDEVILLE NELSON

He wants David Troy, badly for what he did to him after their tournament match. I cannot say I blame him for that, can you?

SAM HEWITT

No, sir.

MANDEVILLE NELSON

It just so happens though that I need a main event for next week and I wanted to get AJ Knight and Alexander Irvine inside the same ring ahead of their title match in a few weeks. So Matt Pulver told me to put him and AJ Knight togeth--

The fans start going nuts, Nelson smiles.

MANDEVILLE NELSON

TOGETHER against Alexander Irvine and David Troy, next week here on this program!

The fans cheering doesn't stop, Nelson waves and walks off.

SAM HEWITT

Thank you, Mandy! There you have it, World's Champion AJ Knight teaming up with old friend and partner Matt Pulver to battle the tandem of Alexander Irvine and David Troy.

BRIAN SHELZI

Neither side is going to get along, I love it - this is going to be chaos.

Loud crashing can be heard as security and members of the press try to get into the locker room of AJ Knight, but the titan frames of Hammerstein and Whitaker block their path. Eventually everyone hears a loud crash and Irvine's booming voice.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

Hold'em up!

The two men move out of the way and allow everyone to start pouring in as the camera moves in first we get the first shot of the carnage. Trash is everywhere, Irvine's shirt has been ripped off and blood overs his mouth as it drips upon his chest. Seville moves out from the showers behind him, pulling a bloody pipe out of the back of Irvine's jeans as he walks past everyone as they pour in. Security moves quickly to control Irvine who puts up no resistance, the sound of cuffs closing echoes.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

Behold the king as he sits on his throne.

Medical staff swarms AJ is slumped in the corner between pieces of a broken bench. Blood covers his face, his hair stained as if the blood hand been pushed into it like styling gel. Upon his waist is the King of Lion's title, strapped carefully around his waist. "Traitor" is written in his own blood upon the belt it also runs down his chest. Above him, "Drain the swamp" is written. The rustling of feet is heard and the cameras pan to show Irvine as he is being pulled out of the locker room.

ALEXANDER IRVINE

See you at the press conference AJ. We are going to make Lion's Road Great Again.

BRADY ROSSEN

Ladies and gentlemen, this Heritage Heavyweight title bout is your main event of the evening and is to be fought to curfew with one fall, one submission or a knockout to decide the winner!

"Tired" by Stone Sour begins blaring over the stereo system. Security opens the hall doors and Justin Seville emerges, clad in a denim jacket and his regular attire of black trunks, knee pads and boots. Behind him stands the Unnatural, Alexander Irvine.

BRADY ROSSEN

Fighting out of Raleigh, North Carolina! He weighs in this evening and two hundred and twenty four pounds! Introducing the challenger - JUSTIN SEVILLE!

"You got this, Snake."

Seville doesn't acknowledge Irvine's comment, opting instead to march forward. He gets to ringside, walks up the stairs and steps between the ropes before raising his arms in the air. "CMND/CTRL" by The Deftones signals the arrival of the champion. Bam Markham pushes the hall doors open, bursting through with the Heritage Heavyweight title dangling from his left hand. His grandfather, Cam "Slam" Markham follows behind but isn't in nearly the hurry that his grandson is.

BRADY ROSSEN

Fighting out of Boulder, Colorado! He weighs in this evening at two hundred and eighty pounds! Introducing the current, reigning and defending Heritage Heavyweight Champion - BAM MARKHAM!

Bam jumps onto the apron and into the ring, undeterred by the presence of Alexander Irvine and Justin Seville and to their credit, they don't back down either. Markham raises his left hand with the title as Xavier Price steps in between the champ and the two men. Irvine pats Seville on the back and exits the ring as Cam Markham is given a chair at ringside to sit in.

BRADY ROSSEN

Your referee for this bout is Xavier Price!

The sound of the bell signifies the start of the bout and we begin things with a lock-up, Bam Markham is backed into the corner by the smaller Justin Seville, using leverage to steer the larger champion backwards. Once there, Seville blisters Markham with a knife edge chop! The eyes and chest of the Bull from Boulder both go red as Seville delivers a second! Markham storms out, grabbing Seville around the waist as he does - chucking him up and over with a back body drop! Markham turns around, Seville's staggering to his feet feeling the effects of the wild back body drop. Markham grabs Seville by the head and lines him up...

*THUMP*

A headbutt connects! Seville falls back against the ropes, Markham shakes out the cobwebs from the shot as Cam Markham tells him to keep on the attack. The Heritage Heavyweight Champion advances but eats a kick to the midsection, Seville pulls himself up and executes a third knife edge chop. Markham responds by decking him with a right! Seville stumbles backwards into the corner and the Bull from Boulder closes the distance between he and the challenger. He grabs Seville by the wrist and whips him across the ring where he hits sternum first in the corner!

SAM HEWITT

Oh, brother! A high speed crash in the corner and Seville is down!

Cam Markham yells in approval as Bam goes to grab Seville and yank him back up to a vertical base. The Snake rakes the eyes of Markham, earning a yellow card from referee Xavier Price, but Seville cares not and knees the big man in the bread basket to double him over. Once there, Seville grabs him in a side headlock and hauls him over to the mat. He wrenches on tightly for a few moments, but then jumps to his feet, bounces off the ropes and leaps up!

DOWN HARD WITH A KNEE DROP!

Markham sits up in pain, Alexander Irvine cackles from his corner and encourages Seville to do it again. The Snake agrees, grabbing Markham by his hair and throwing him back down flat onto the mat where he comes off the ropes and rattles nothing but his knee and the canvas! Markham roars to his feet and runs Seville over with a shoulderblock like a screaming locomotive! Markham runs forth and springs off the ropes, trying to catch Seville with a second shoulder tackle but the Snake drops down in an attempt to trip the Bull from Boulder but is unable - as Markham jumps over and continues running. On the rebound... LOU THESZ PRESS!

2-NO!

Seville is able to get a shoulder up, Markham grabs him and slowly brings him to his feet while trying to catch his breath. The challenger notices this and falls back to a knee, Markham tries to yank him up again but eats a punch to the bread basket. Bam Markham sounds like Kirby sucking wind as he doubles over and the Serious One stays on his knees and drives his shoulder repeatedly into the midsection of the Heritage Champion. He backs out of the corner and grabs him by the wrist, Irish whipping him across the ring - Markham hits the turnbuckles and stays put so Seville comes running in and eats a big boot for his efforts!

BRIAN SHELZI

I don't know what size that boot is, but it covered Seville's face pretty good! Might even leave an imprint.

Once again, Markham tries to advance but Seville headbutts him in the midsection! Bam's grandfather yells at him to tough it out as the champion doubles over in pain once more, Seville grabs Markham's greasy mane and yanks him down between his legs as the fans get loud, knowing what's coming. Seville lifts him, but Markham's legs flail wildly and he's forced to sit him back down and that's when the Heritage Heavyweight Champion back drops his challenger for the second time in this contest. Markham slowly recovers, then grabs Seville and stuffs him between the legs - no doubt looking for the powerbomb here but Seville knows that and grabs onto Markham's thighs and pushes him backwards toward the ropes to get Price to call a break. Price steps in and begins counting, Seville backs up... SHOULDER THRUST! Markham grunts in pain, then Seville quickly changes up the tactic and blasts him with a knife edge chop! The champion eats the shot and Seville quickly yanks him down to all fours with a front chancery applied.

SAM HEWITT

Now for the first time in this bout, Justin Seville has grounded the big man from Boulder, Colorado.

BRIAN SHELZI

It's necessity, Sammy. Seville's taken a beating and very well should've done this earlier, but of course that's easier said than done for a lot of us. Bam Markham is no easy task, you kind of have to let him run out of steam and hope he doesn't somehow pile on some more coal before you can.

The camera shows Seville using his forearm bone to choke Markham, pressing his chest down onto the back of Markham's head to increase the effects of it. Seville eyes Price closely, then slips his feet up onto the second rope for added leverage. Cam Markham's squawking gets Price's attention and he catches Seville in the act, awarding his effort with a second yellow card. Seville gets up and leans over the ropes, threatening the "old man" to keep his mouth shut. Irvine glares at the elder Markham from the opposite side of the ring. Seville turns around and ducks the Meat Hook left, then kicks the champ in the gut and tries to hoist him up for the rope assisted brainbuster but Markham doesn't budge! Seville tries again to no avail! Markham powers up, lifting Seville onto his shoulder...

SEVILLE SLIPS OUT!

He pushes Markham from behind, the big man then turns around...

SUPERKICK!

He staggers, stumbles... but remains standing.

SEVILLE SUPERKICKS HIM AGAIN!

He teeters over and the Snake jumps on top!

2...

...

3-NO! FOOT ON THE ROPE!

Seville yanks the foot off and tries again.

2-SEVILLE IS THROWN TO THE OUTSIDE!

Irvine gets on Price about a yellow card, but Price says it was inadvertent. Seville is checked on by Irvine, Markham rolls out. Irvine backs up as the champion grabs Seville and rolls him back inside, Irvine sneaks up behind him but Markham turns back - Price ejects Irvine! The crowd erupts as Irvine yells about not having done anything, Markham backs him down against the guardrail. Seville exits the ring, Markham goes to turn around but Irvine grabs onto him. Seville rushes up and drives his knee into the back of the champion, sending him forward into the guardrails and nearly takes out Irvine in the process. Price gets out of the ring and waves his arms, calling for the bell. Seville turns around so quick that he nearly trips himself and Price, but gets up and presses the referee for answers. Price turns away, walking up to Brady Rossen who nods.

BRADY ROSSEN

Ladies and gentlemen, referee Xavier Price has called a stop to this match due to disqualification for outside interference! Your winner and still Heritage Heavyweight Champion, Bam Markham!

"AW, YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

Seville turns around and puts the boots to Bam, Irvine joins in and the other troops, Hammerstein and Whitaker come down for the party. It's a 4 on 1 beatdown on Markham! The fans look to the entrance aisle, hoping someone will come out to fight the WALL but the aisle remains vacant. Cam Markham gets up from his chair and folds it up, Irvine walks over to him...

"I suggest you sit your ass back down, old man."

The Unnatural snatches the chair away from Bam's grandfather, knocking him over in the process. Stage hands attend to him quickly, the WALL pulls Markham up and throws him to Seville, who stuffs him between his legs and piledrives him on the floor! Security steps in and the WALL finally backs away, happy with their handy work this evening. Seville though, looks a little unimpressed - clearly wanting the championship gold. Irvine grabs him, whispers something in his ear and Seville's expression turns to a smile.

SAM HEWITT

Well, Markham retains but doesn't look like much of a winner after a 4 on 1 beating. A little ridiculous if you ask me.

BRIAN SHELZI

Are you going to stop them?

SAM HEWITT

What am I going to do about it?

BRIAN SHELZI

Exactly. No one came else to help him, Sam, Bam Markham hasn't made any friends since coming here in April and tonight showed us the dangers of being a loner in pro-wrestling. Or the dangers of bringing your grandfather to ringside as even he couldn't do a damn thing to help.

SAM HEWITT
