Greetings folks,
As many of you may have heard by now Pro-Wrestling Grand Prix will make it’s return to the PWGP Exhibition Centre, on September 2, 2018, our first show in nearly two month since PWGP “Glory Days II: War Games” concluded with The Invaders beating Team PWGP on July 2, 2018 to gain control of the company for thirty days.
Beyond the obvious concerns over exactly what plan The Invaders have for PWGP, there are a few questions that remain unanswered. Not the least of which is who exactly is “Riel”, the mysterious leader of The Invaders. I have been unable to find out much about this young man and both the BUAC and Buck U Productions have been less than willing to share information with us at this time.
Is he simply using the name as a pseudonym? Louis Riel was one of the founding fathers of the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, but he was also one of Canada’s most controversial figures and the only individual to be executed for crime of treason in this country’s history. It’s possible the leader of The Invaders has adopted this name because he believes himself to be a man made from the same fabric as Louis Riel, and I have no doubt if you asked he would tell you as much, but there’s something about the look in Eli Buchanan’s eyes when he pulled off that tiger mask and looked him in the face.
It was as if he had seen a ghost.
I’m sure we’ll all learn the truth soon enough, though. This “Riel” gentlemen doesn’t come across as someone who’s going to refrain from bragging now that he’s gotten control of the situation. Expect for him to brag on September 2nd about how his master plan came together, and how he and Deedee Gagnon were able to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes for so long.
We should also expect that all the members of Team PWGP will be made to suffer as well come September 2nd, especially Eli Buchanan. That is, if Eli even makes it to PWGP “Charge” that day. As revealed on August 17, 2018, The Invasion has taken over Buck U Productions twitter account, @buckupro, and has contacted several companies, including our sister company based in the Great Lakes area, Lions Road Pro-Wrestling, and offered a $50,000 bounty to anyone who will injure Buchanan and insure that he never makes it to PWGP’s return. Can the PWGP Global Champion overcome the odds being thrown at him, or will be end up being put on the self? We can only wait and watch what occurs throughout the next few weeks.

While much is up in the area involving PWGP at this, I’m happy to announce that Maple Leaf Wrestling Alliance has continued strong in the absence of the BUAC run company. “Nightmare” Teddy Davis continues to reign as the company’s inaugural champion, despite tough opposition from the likes of Jimmy Winner and David Lee Sellers. MLWA will also be returning to the PWGP Exhibition Centre on September 2nd to film the next several episodes of their own television series, “MLWA Wrestling”, so those fans in the Winnipeg area should make sure to arrive to the Exhibition Centre early to catch all the action.

News from BATTLE Japan. We would like to congratulate the company’s Heavyweight Champion, Takeshi Morimoto, on his impending nuptials. It’s being reported his upcoming wedding will not interfere in with any of his title defences, as he is currently weight to find out who the winner of double elimination tournament currently going on.
It’s been also reported that the company is considering introducing a tag team title division. These plans, from what I have been told, are currently on hold until they know what the future of PWGP is. BATTLE and PWGP share several talent, including GRIM, Jin Hirai, Axel Moros and Kraken, and until it is clear when these talent will be available, not to mention several “gaijin” teams they are interested in having appear in the tournament, BATTLE is willing to wait until they learn more.

Of course this leads me back to the return of PWGP “CHARGE” on September 2nd. Once again, I encourage all of you wrestling fans in the Winnipeg arena to come out and watch the action live in the PWGP Exhibition Centre. You can’t make it out live? You can tune in to the show live on our YoutTube channel, as well as live on POLLOVISION!
We do understand that there will be several announcement by “Riel” and The Invasion that will impact the short term future of the company, as well as a huge announcement that the BUAC passed down before handing over the “keys to the kingdom”, so to speak, for the month of September.
What will those announcements be? There’s only one way to find out. Make sure tune in to PWGP “CHARGE” on September 2nd and witness history in the making.
Until then, in the meantime and in between time.. Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you.
Sincerely,
That Masked Guy
