This special episode PWGP “CHARGE" opens with very special performance by “America’s Got Talent” finalist, Courtney Hadwin and the band The Struts.
As the crowd cheers we hear a cry from the back and cameramen quickly make their way to the back halls of the PWGP Exhibition Centre. There we find all the member of the Invading Army attacking Brutus Smith and we see Kraken and Daimon smash the masked giant’s right leg between a cinder block and a chair. Security and other member of the roster rush in to Smith’s rescue but Deedee Gagnon calls off the IA before a huge confrontation can occur. The IA runs off laughing, as paramedics and roster try to help Smith out as he screams in pain.

We go down to ringside with our announce team “That Masked Guy” El Hombre Loco Enmascarado and Saul Asper. Loco tries to confront Asper about what we’ve just seen but the manager for IA only laughs him off as Loco proclaims this puts tonight’s main event in question as Brutus Smith was supposed to challenge Daimon for the PWGP Global Title in the last match in the best of five series to determine whether the Invading Army would maintain full control of PWGP or if it would return to the Buck U Athletic Commission.
There is little time for further debate of the subject as we go to the ring and ring announcer Nick Christoulos makes the introductions for the opening contest.
MATCH 1
PWGP vs Invading Army Best of 5 Series (0-0)
PWGP Television Title Match
Goober the Gooker (champion)
vs
Bryant Adam Thompson (w/ Saul Asper)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
As the match begins, Christoulos joins Loco at the announce table. Both men still marvel over the fact that Goober is actually the Television Champion judging from his completely one sided win/loss record. It’s quickly reviewed that Thompson, who Goober defeated last week to become champion thanks in large part to Faititili, had originally impersonated the turkey man to become Television Champion at “War Games” a few months ago. This would lead to Thompson facing and quickly defeating Goober on two separate occasions before his ego got the better of him, allowing his former friend, the Samoan warrior Faititili, to take advantage of some technical difficulties with a onscreen timer to help Goober win the title.
Tims calls for the bell and the two wrestler start to circle one another. Asper jumps up on the apron to distract Goober, allowing Thompson to catch him from behind with a kick. Thompson appears to be on a mission to prove a point in this match as he is far more aggressive than normal and begins to choke the turkey man and stomp away at him as he falls to the mat. Tims tries to seperate the two but Thompson only ignores his orders and continues the assault. Thompson picks Goober up and whips him into the ropes and tries to hit a spin heel kick but Goober rolls underneath and Thompson crashes to the mat. To the shock of everyone Goober grabs Thompson from behind and locks on the Crossface Turkey Wing, the move is locked in but before Thompson quickly makes it to the ropes and Goober is forced to release it.
Thompson rubs his shoulder as Tims forces Goober to back away. He seems reluctant to lock up again with the champion and quickly uses the referee as a shield when Goober tries to press his advantage. As Tims fights to get free from Thompson’s grip this leaves him distracted and misses as Thompson kicks Goober in the gizzards. The former two time Television champion shoves Tims aside and hits a leaping knee that clearly knocks the injured turkey man out. He drags him into position and hits the springboard phoenix splash he likes to cal “Bat Outta Hell” and pins Goober to become the first ever three time PWGP Television Champion.
Winner: and NEW PWGP Television Champion, Bryant Adam Thompson
(The Invading Army now leads the Best of Five Series, 1-0)
Thompson and Asper celebrate the victory afterwards. The new champion and his manager quickly turn their attention back to Goober, who is still recovering on the mat. Thompson and Asper begin to kick him and try to rip of his mask.
A cry from the crowd signals the arrival of Faititli who slides into the ring. Thompson sees him coming and manages to get out of the ring but Asper isn’t so lucky. Faititili hits him with a super kick and dares him to get back into the ring. Thompson refuses and crawls up the entrance ramp with his newly reclaimed Television Championship. We see footage from backstage as the other members of the Invading Army are held at bay by the rest of the roster. Back in the ring Goober has somehow manages to get up and slams Asper to the mat. Faititli climbs to the top rope and points at Thompson, who is still sitting there hugging his title. The Samoan Warrior leaps off the top rope and drops all his weight on top of Asper with a flying splash as Thompson looks on with horror.
As Faititili and Goober leave the ring, medics arrive to attend to the injured Asper. Loco and Christoulos remind us that the Invading Army are current ahead in this best of five series but with Asper apparently injured at the hands of Faititili, the IA have lost one of their of their generals and this could lead to them losing a great deal of their technical advantage leading on throughout the evening.

From her office we see Deedee Gagnon viewing on her monitor as her boyfriend, Asper is placed in a neck brace and loaded up on a stretcher. She turns around to see BUAC Spokesman, Robert Fredrick looking quite smug at her and asking if everything is ok. She doesn’t appear to let him load her and reminds him the Invading Army is ahead in the series. Fredrick reminds her the night has just begun but Gagnon states that they’ve practically won already since there’s no way Brutus Smith will be in any shape to challenge for the Global Title later tonight. This seems to amuse Robert Fredrick who says she clearly doesn’t know Brute will if she thinks that. He takes this opportunity to walk away, leaving Gagnon with a concerned looked on her face. She turns back to the monitor and watches as Asper is taken away on at stretcher.

PWGP’s new backstage correspondent, Laurie Heeley is standing by with the East K Connection, Easy E and Sweet Daddy D. She asks them about their match against Kraken and “Iron” Mack Brody in a rematch for the PWGP International Tag Team Titles. The former champions put over how tough Krak ‘n Mack are a formidable combination but remind us that when they were defeated for the titles it took three other teams to take the belts from their wastes. This time it will only them and the champions and with Asper out of the picture they guarantee that the titles are coming back with them. They excuse themselves and take their leave, as Heeley wishes them luck and sends it back to Loco and Christoulos.

MATCH 2
PWGP vs Invading Army Best of 5 Series (0-1)
PWGP International Tag Team Title Match
Krak ‘n Mack Connection (champion)
vs
The East K Connection
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Kraken and Brody clearly look a bit uncomfortable at first with no Saul Asper at their side. They make their way down to the ring but are caught off guard by the challengers as Easy E soars through the ropes and takes out Brody with a suicide dive and Sweet Daddy D soars off the top rope and lands hits Kraken with a flying crossbody, sending the French Canadian Colossus into the barricade. The member of EKC throw Brody into the ring. Sweet Daddy D hits “Mad Mack” with a super kick and Easy rolls him up with a school boy for two. Easy E sees Kraken getting up on the arena floor and goes for another suicide dive. Kraken catches him by the mask and slams him into the barricade; he quickly follows up with a chokeslam on the ring apron to leave the resident of “The 7th Moon of Thunder” lying on the arena floor.
Back in the ring Brody has bounced back from nearly being pinned just mere moments ago. He and Sweet Daddy D exchange fists and it’s clear, try as he might, “The Sweetner” is no match in a brawl against the much bigger Brody. Sweet Daddy D resorts to a thumb to the eye, much to the delight of the crowd. As Brody rubs his eye, Sweet Daddy D goes for another super kick but gets blindsided by Kraken with a stiff clothesline to the back of the head. The French Canadian Colossus checks on his partner and the two turn their attention back to SDD. They both grab him and hit a double team military press, slamming him hard to the mat. Brody goes for the cover but only gets two.
Easy E manages to get to his feet and climb up on the apron, but he’s sent flying into the barricade once again by a charging Kraken and lies motionless on the floor. With his partner once again out of the picture, Sweet Daddy D suffers a beating at the hands of both his opponents, who utilize quick tags and keeping him stuck in their corner. The tag team champions use their strength and power to their advantage, weaking SSD with body blows in the corner and repeatedly slamming him to the mat.
The tide seems to turn when Easy E once again crawls back up on the ring apron. Once again Kraken charges at him, but Double E pulls the top rope down and Kraken goes tumbling to the floor. Sweet Daddy D crawls to the corner for a tag, but Kraken pulls Easy E to the floor just in time to prevent it. Kraken tries to power bomb Easy E into the ring steps but... HURRICANRANA! Kraken goes crashing into the steps!.
Easy E jumps up to his corner and finally gets tagged into the match by his partner. He climbs to the top rope and hits Brody with a flying side body block for a two count. Brody gets to his feet and swings a wild right hand but Easy E ducks and rolls Brody up for another two count. Brody kicks Easy E in the gut and tries to power bomb his opponent out of the ring but clearly didn’t learn from his partner, as he is sent flipping over the top rope with a hurricanrana right on top of Kraken. Easy E gets back in the ring and waits for Brody to rise. He hits the ropes and blasts Brody with another suicide dive, this one sends Brody on top of the announce table. Easy E sees a chance to put Brody away and points to Sweet Daddy D. SDD climbs to the top rope. The crowd begins to cheer loudly as they know what’s about to happen. Sweet Daddy D dives off the top rope, looking to put Brody out of their misery with a elbow drop, but Kraken clotheslines Easy E and pulls Brody out of harm's way just as Sweet Daddy D crashes through the table.
A chant of “holy sh*t” echoes through the crowd as Sweet Daddy D lies motionless on what’s left of the announce table. Kraken and Brody toss Easy E into the ring. Brody hits Double E with a big boot that nearly takes the masked man’s head off. He tags in Kraken who grabs Easy E by the throat and delivers a leg-trap chokeslam and covers him for an academic three count.
Winners: and STILL PWGP International Tag Team Champions, The Krak ‘n Mack Connection.
(The Invading Army leads the Best of Five Series, 2-0)
The champions celebrate in the ring while officials check on both members of the East K Connection. Loco and Christoulos put over how deep a hole Team PWGP is in now, with the Invading Army now only one win away from winning the series and Brute’s condition in question.
***
In her office, Deedee Gagnon is looking a bit more confident. She turns to Robert Fredrick and smugly tells him that the IA has all but won and hopes his resume is polished up because he’s going to need it. Fredrick remind her the night is far from over and the World Travelling Council Destiny Crown Title Match is coming up next. Gagnon says that Máscara de Tigre del Negro is more than up to the task of becoming the new champion, and even if he doesn’t, Team PWGP has to win three matches in a row to be victorious and she highly doubts they can do that now with Brutus Smith injured.
A crew member barges in and apologizes to both of them. He informs Gagnon that Brute has disappeared from the physician’s office and they have been unable to locate him anywhere. Gagnon looks very concerned as the crew member leaves. Robert Fredrick laughs and tells her to call up Riel and make sure Daimon is ready to defend the championship because he has a feeling a very angry giant will be looking for him in the near future. He steps away as Gagnon continues to look concerned.
***
We go to Laurie Heeley standing by with Máscara de Tigre del Negro. She asks him how he’s feeling about his match tonight for the WTC Destiny Crown Championship against his former mentor, Eli Buchanan. Negro tells her he’s looking forward to redeeming himself after the last time he faced Buchanan, a contest that lasted less than thirty seconds, and guarantees that he will walk away as champion tonight. Heeley asked him about the mysterious hooded figure who appeared to help him defeat the Technician last week, but Negro tells her to mind her own business. He looks at the camera and says something in Spanish, ending by telling his “Hermano” to stay out of his business. He walks away without saying another word, leaving Heeley to send it back to Loco and Christoulos.
***
Máscara de Tigre del Negro makes his way down to the ring. Meanwhile Loco and Christoulos continue to speculate over who the hooded figure was, siting the fact that no member of the Invading Army has taken credit for the incident.
Their speculation is cut short as “Welcome to the Jungle” starts to play and the crowd begins to cheer. Máscara de Tigre del Negro is clearly taken aback by the music and appears panicked as Eli Buchanan, wearing the WTC Destiny Crown Championship, appears wearing a familiar red tiger mask. A chant of “Tiger, Tiger Mask. TIGER MASK RED!” echoes through the the PWGP Exhibition Centre as he makes his way down to the ring. Buchanan enters the ring and hands the championship to referee Andrew Roller who calls for the bell.
MATCH 3
PWGP vs Invading Army Best of 5 Series (0-2)
WTC Destiny Crown Championship Match
Eli Buchanan (champion)
vs
Máscara de Tigre del Negro
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
Buchanan removes the mask at the start of the contest and places it on the ring post, but the impact he was going for is clear on Negro’s face. The young luchadore is clearly rattled as his former mentor circles around him. Negro quickly bails to the floor and takes a breather, trying to regain his composure. He finally works up the nerve to return to the ring as Roller grow close to administering the ten count. He hops back out of the ring again though seeing that Buchanan has put the mask back on and is taunting him.
The crowd begins to chant, Tiger, Tiger Mask. TIGER MASK RED!” again as Negro paces back and forth on the arena floor. He stops to shout at Loco and Christoulos that Buchanan is not in his head head but neither man is convinced.
Back in the ring, Roller has ordered Buchanan back to his corner and Eli once again removes the mask and hangs it on the ring post. Negro sees an opportunity to rush in and attack his former mentor, but Buchanan sees him coming out of the corner of his eye and side steps him, sending Nego into the turnbuckle. Buchanan quickly grabs him from behind and drops him with a German suplex. He rolls through, maintaining the waist lock and hits a second German, and then rolls through one more time and hits a third German, this time with a bridge and gets a two count. Buchanan goes for a fourth suplex but Negro wisely grabs the ropes. Buchanan tries to pull him away and ends up arguing with Roller, who orders him to release the waist lock. The momentary distraction allows Negro to lift his leg and hit a low blow while Roller isn’t looking and Buchanan crumbles to the mat.
Seeing his opportunity finally arising, Negro pounces on his former mentor and starts choking him while screaming in Spanish. He stands up and kicks Buchanan to the gut before hitting a standing moonsault. He goes for the the cover but only gets two. Frustrated, he picks Buchanan up and shows how strong he is by lifting the far bigger man up and slamming him to the mat. He goes to the ring apron and hits a springboard leg drop for another two count. Negro begins arguing with the referee but this leaves him open for a release Northern Light Suplex by Buchanan. When the champion tries to follow up, he gets a thumb to the eye for his trouble and Negro uses a headscisssors takeover to send him spilling to the arena floor.
The crowd starts chanting, “Tiger, Tiger Mask. TIGER MASK RED!” once more but Negro yells at them he’s better than Buchanan. To prove this point he grabs his former mentor’s mask and wipes his backside with it before dropping it on the mat and stomping on it. The crowd boos but he only laughs.
He waits for Buchanan to rise from the floor and charges across the ring, looking for a tope suicida. Buchanan sees him coming and cuts him off with a leaping knee strike that catches Negro right under the chin. Buchanan tosses Negor back in the ring and deadlifts him into a release German suplex. He picks him up and sends him into the corner and follows him in with a step up knee strike. Negro nearly crumbles back to the ground but Buchanan holds him up and hits three knife-edge chops across his chest. Buchanan snap mares Negro into the centre of the ring and rebounding off the ropes hits Thunderstruck (boyame knee strike).
The crowd cheers, realizing the match is all but done. Instead of going for the cover though, Buchanan sees his mask lying on the mat and retrieves it. As the crowd starts chanting “Yes”, Buchanan puts it back on. He lifts Negro to his feet and hits one of TMR’s signature moves, the brain buster. Buchanan follows up by going to the top rope and as the crowd reaction explodes, hits the frog splash and picks up the three count.
Winner: and STILL WTC Destiny Crown Champion, “Tiger Mask Red” Eli Buchanan
(The Invading Army leads the Best of 5 Series 2-1)
***
Following the match, Buchanan climbs to the middle rope and poses for the crowd. He sees Nego climb to his feet and goes over to check on him. Negro pushes him away and curses at him in Spanish before rolling out of the ring and walking away. Buchanan merely shakes his head and hold the WTC Destiny Crown high above his head.
On his way up the ramp, Máscara de Tigre del Negro spots the hooded figure watching him. He goes to confront him but the figure disappears into the crowd, leaving Negro looking upset and frustrated.

In her office, Deedee Gagnon is looking at her monitor in disgust. She turns to the five men representing the Invading Army in the ten man tag team match and reads them the riot act, telling them that if they don’t win there will be hell to pay. The Agents of Pain reassure their boss they have everything in control. The Guru agrees, saying that nothing will stop this group, pointing at his Moondogs and the PWGP 24/7 Champion, BOB. With a team like this, there’s no way they’re going to lose to two second rate tag teams and a half-sized Samoan.
Gagnon tells them to go out there and win. The team exits and starts making their way to the ring. They’re attacked by the members of the opposing team, Faititili, True North Ant, Philly Cheese Snake, Axel Moros and Vlars. A brawl ensues and in the midst of the chaos figure suddenly leaps off a pile of crates and smashes BOB over the head with a chair. IT’S ALAN HUNTER! Hunter rolls BOB up and referee Mark Lindsey is there to make the three count.
New PWGP 24/7 Champion: Alan Hunter
Hunter starts laughing as he’s handed the 24/7 Championship. BOB gets to his feet, a bit dazed but extremely angry. He charges after Hunter, who wastes no time making best his escape and the two disappear while the Guru can be heard pleading with BOB to come back.
The members of PWGP ten man tag team quickly disperse as Gagnon steps out of her office and starts screaming in frustration. She demands to know who allowed Alan Hunter into the building since he was fired several weeks ago. Robert Fredrick can be seeing laughing and replies, “Who indeed?”
Gagnon ignores him and turns around to address the Technician, sitting calmly in a cushioned seat. She tells him that he has to take BOB’s place in the match, since BOB has disappeared. Tech declines. Gagnon is furious and demands to know why. He replies that he feels like he’s been disrespected by Gagnon and her administration, going as far as accusing her of being responsible for the hooded figure who distracted him last week, costing him the WTC Destiny Crown Title match. Gagnon is desperate for him to compete and starts pleading with him. The Technician agrees on one condition, he receives a title match of his choosing anytime he wishes. Gagnon reluctantly agrees and Tech says he’ll go get his gear on.
Outside of the office the Guru asks Tech what he was thinking pushing Gagnon like that. The Technician replies that he’s going to make them both a lot of money. He rushes off to get his gear, leaving his confused manager to quickly follow him to their locker room.

Team PWGP is already in the ring and ready for the team man tag team match. The Agents of Pain are first to come out for the Invading Army. They look around a bit worried until the Moondogs and the Technician come out with the Guru. A man in a suit rushes out with a contract that Tech and Guru look over thoroughly before Tech signs it and hands it back to the man. Loco and Christoulos speculate this must be the contract Tech insisted on having written up allowing him to book himself into a title match whenever he likes. Both joke the contract must not be that well written since there’s no way Gagnon’s legal team could have had the proper time to properly put it together.
The Technician and the Moondogs join the Agents of Pain on their way down to the ring and the group enters together. Referee Eddie Tims orders everyone out of the ring except the two legal men, which are Agent D and True North Ant, and calls for the bell.
MATCH 4
PWGP vs The Invading Army Best of 5 Series (2-1)
Ten Man Tag Team Match
Team PWGP (Faititili, True North Ant, Philly Cheese Snake, Axel Moros & Vlars)
vs
The Invading Army (Agents B & D, Moondogs Buster & Runt, & The Technician w/ The Guru)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
The bell rings and the two legal competitors circle each other in the middle of the ring. Suddenly the Technician drops off the apron. Everyone looks at him in confusion and the Agents start yelling at him, wanting to know what he’s doing. Tech whistles and calls the Moondogs who quickly follow suit and join the Technician and Guru on the entrance ramp. Buster and Runt are as confused as everyone else but fall into line as Tech points to the back and the four men take their leave.
Back in the ring the Agents of Pain are screaming at Guru and his Family to come back. They suddenly realize they’re both alone and turn around, seeing the full force of Team PWGP staring right back at them. They try to bail but the ring is quickly surrounded Philly, Moros, Vlars and Faititili. The Agents look around, trying to figure out what their best escape route is and end up both getting clotheslined by TNA.
The crowd cheers as the rest of Team PWGP piles into the ring and start laying the boots into both of the Agents of Pain. Philly grabs Agent B and hits a cobra clutch suplex. Axel scoops up Agent D and hits the rolling Death Valley Driver. True North Ant looks at Philly and gives him a thumbs up. He picks Agent B up and transitions into a crucifix, holding B above his head. He brings B down with the Red River Plunge (aka Splash Mountain/Black Tiger Driver) and Philly catches B with a neck breaker on the way down, completing what was once known as the Red River Dip. Axel scoops Agent D back up. Vlars grabs him in a cravat and hits a modified Puke Bucket Stunner. The four of them pile Agent B on top of D and point to Faititili, who quickly scales the top rope and flies off with a splash, leaving Eddie Tims to make the three count and ending an extremely confusing match.
Winners: Team PWGP
(The Best of 5 now tied 2-2)

Cameras cut to the back while Team PWGP celebrates their victory in the ring. Laurie Heeley rushed to catch up with the Guru and his clients as they grab their bags and are heading for the exit. She asks them what happened out there, but before anyone can answer, Deedee Gagnon arrives with Krak ‘n Mack in tow and wants to know the same thing.
The Technician speaks up for the group, saying that he has felt disrespected ever since Gagnon took over and finds it insulting the way the Family has been treated, especially him and the Guru. He hold up the contract that Gagnon’s legal team quickly wrote up for him, guaranteeing him a title shot whenever he wishes. He states that he had a quick word with Robert Fredrick and was reassured that the BUAC are more than willing to honour the contract. Therefore regardless of whoever comes out on top the Family wins, so there was little point in any of them wasting their sweat on that match out there.
The Family tries to make their exit, but Kraken and Brody block their path. Tech asks them if they really want to do this. He reminds them they’re currently the International Tag Team Champions, which means regardless of who wins tonight, they still will have their jobs next week. Tech turns to Brody and reminds him they’ve been best friends for twenty years. He then turns to Kraken asks him who was it who helped him improve in the ring, and Kraken points to him. Tech nods to them both and invites them to come celebrate their separate successes tonight, saying “beers on me”. This seems to be enough for Krak ‘n Mack, who grab Tech and Guru’s bags and walk with them out of the building.
Gagnon watches them leave, fuming. She grabs a backstage worker and demands to know if Brute has been found yet. He informs her they have yet to find him and she screams at him to go find Riel and tell him to get Daimon in the ring RIGHT NOW! She then grabs senior referee Andrew Roller and tells him to get to the ring and he is to start counting to ten the moment Daimon gets there. If Brute doesn’t arrive in the ring by the count of ten, he loses by count out. Roller reluctantly nods his head and hurries off as well while Gagnon continues to fume.
***
Loco quickly discusses what we’ve seen tonight while Nick Christoulos is in the ring to make the announcements for the main event. He admits to being amazed Team PWGP has managed to bounce back after being behind 2-0 but even he wonders if there’s any way the company can be saved from the Invading Army, especially when Daimon is the individual standing in your way.
Riel makes his way down to the ring, appearing to be not worried in the least. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone. Riel tells everyone in attendance and watching around the world that they’re about to witness the final nail being hammered into PWGP’s casket and next week this program will be officially rebranded to become IAW, Invading Alliance Wrestling. He points to the lights above him and everything goes dark, and as they lights come back up, Daimon is standing in the ring with the PWGP Global Title.
MAIN EVENT
MATCH 5
PWGP vs The Invading Army Best of 5 Series (2-2)
PWGP Global Title Match
Daimon (champion)
vs
Brutus Smith
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
Daimon points at Roller and hands him the title. Reluctantly, Roller hands the title to Christoulos, calls for the bell and begins to make the ten count. Loco can be heard on commentary, begging for PWGP’s hopes and dreams of being free from the IA not to end this way.
Roller makes the count as slow as he can at first but speeds up as Daimon starts to threaten him. He reaches nine, only for Eli Buchanan to come through the crowd and stops Roller from counting ten. He tells Roller not to do it but Roller says he can’t afford to lose his job. Buchanan says, “Sorry about this then,” and drops Roller with a clothesline and kicking him out of the ring.
The crowd pops and Loco reminds us that all Daimon’s matches are no disqualification so what we’ve seen here is perfectly legal, even if Gagnon is probably having a fit in the back. Daimon swings at Buchanan, but Buchanan ducks and rolls out of the ring. Daimon roars and points at Buchanan, but the current WTC Destiny Crown Champion just smiles at him.
Bryant Adam Thompson, Máscara de Tigre del Negro and the Agents of Pain come out from the back and slowly make their way to the ring. They approach Buchanan on both sides and it looks like Buchanan is about to get beaten down once again. The entire locker room rushes down to the ring and swarms the last remaining members of the the Invading Army. They grab Thompson, Negro and the Agents and drag them to the back while Buchanan gets back in the ring to confront Daimon.
Daimon looks around, appearing to be confused by all the chaos. He turns his attention to Buchanan, who laughs again and points to the lights. Once again, everything goes dark, and when the lights go back up, Brutus Smith is standing in the ring. He grabs Daimon by the throat and chokeslams him. Brute lifts Daimon by the throat and chokeslams him a second time. He points to Buchanan and shouts “I AM BRUTE!” Buchanan salutes and rolls out of the ring. Eli reaches under the ring and drags out a table, which he slides in the ring.
Meanwhile, Daimon sits up. He stands to his feet and hits Smith from behind with a forearm smash. Brute staggers, showing signs he’s still feeling the effects from the beating he took prior to this broadcast. Daimon grabs him by the throat and tries to chokeslam him but cannot move the big man. He tries again, but Brute will not budge. Brute suddenly reaches out and grabs Daimon by the throat and effortlessly chokeslams him for a third time. Even this doesn’t appear to be enough to keep the masked demon down, as he slowly gets back to his feet.
While this is all happening, Buchanan sets up the table. Realizing even a table might not be enough, he slides back out of the ring and grabs a bag and a bottle from beneath. He pours the contents of the bag on the table and the crowd pops realizing it’s thumb tacks. Buchanan quickly pours the contents of the bottle, lighter fluid, on top of the table and lights it on fire with a lighter from his pocket.
Daimon sees the fire rising from the table and for the first time since he arrived, the demon appears scared. He has little time to react though as Brute grabs him by the throat again and delivers a sickening chokeslam to Daimon through the burning table and thumb tacks, and Brute covers him. Buchanan tosses a still dazed Andrew Roller into the ring and the referee makes the three count.
Winner: and NEW PWGP Global Champion, Brutus Smith
(PWGP wins the Best of 5 Series, 3-2)
Eli Buchanan grabs the Global Title and hands it to Smith, who holds it high above his head. The locker room empties to join the celebration in the ring, while Loco is heard “PWGP lives! PWGP forever!”
An injured Daimon limps his way to the back, stopping at the top of the ramp to look back at everyone in the ring. PWGP has won the day but this battle seems far from over.
***
In the back we see Deedee Gagnon looking at the monitor in her office with disgust. Laurie Heeley enters and asks her for comments but Gagnon doesn’t even get a chance to say anything because Robert Fredrick enters with security and orders them, on behalf of the BUAC, to remove Gagnon from the premises. Gagnon tries to protest but ends up getting dragged away, kicking and screaming.
***
Back in the arena, the celebration continues. Alan Hunter enters through the crowd, still holding the 24/7 Championship, and hugs everyone. Hunter and Buchanan raise Brutus Smith’s hands in victory as we go off the air.
All appears to once again be right with the world, but is it really? You’ll have to tune in next week and find out for yourselves! But in the meantime, and in between time… Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you.
