PWGP “CHARGE” opens with a video package from last week’s best of five series between Team PWGP and the Invading Army including highlights of Brutus Smith being attacked at the beginning of last week’s broadcast. Bryant Adam Thompson regained the Television Title from Goober the Gooker, only for Faititili to chase Thompson off and injure Saul Asper. The East K Connection attempted to regain the the International Tag Team Titles from Kraken and Mack Brody, only for Sweet Daddy D going through the announce table after a missed flying elbow and Easy E being pinned following a trap-legged choke slam from Kraken. WTC Destiny Crown Champion, Eli Buchanan had a surprise for his former protege, Negro, coming out wearing as Tiger Mask Red and defeating the young luchadore with a frog splash. 24/7 Champion, BOB, is shown being attacked by Alan Hunter, who lost his job after losing to BOB on September 2nd, with a chair. Hunter would pin BOB to become the new 24/7 Champion and after luring the green-faced goliath off, the Technician would agree to take his place in the ten man tag team match after some shrewd negotiations. Tech would chose to walk away at the beginning of the match, along with the Guru and the Moondogs, leaving the Agents of Pain to a five on two assault and both being pinned by Faititili with a flying splash. Lastly Daimon is shown forcing referee Andrew Roller to begin a ten count on the missing Brutus Smith. Eli Buchanan would return to the ring to knock Roller out and buy Smith time to make his famous entrance and the masked giant would choke slam Daimon four times, the last of which through a burning table to put the demon down and in the process both becoming the new PWGP Global Champion and winning the best of five series for Team PWGP, insuring that PWGP would continue to exist.

We go inside the PWGP Exhibition Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We’re greeted by tonight’s commentary team of El Hombre Loco Enmascarado (better known as That Masked Guy, or “Loco”) and his special guest commentator for the evening, the Technician. Loco wishes all the Canadian viewers a happy Thanksgiving and Tech tells Loco that he should be thanking him for saving his job because if he hadn’t chosen to walk out last week there was no way Team PWGP would have won out the night. Loco doesn’t bother dignifying that with a response but does say it’s a new day in PWGP. He sends it over to ring announcer, Nick Christoulos, for the introductions for a special Thanksgiving battle royal.
MATCH 1
Thanksgiving Battle Royal
Easy E vs Sweet Daddy D vs Moondog Buster vs Moondog Buster vs BOB vs Faititili vs Vlars vs Axel Moros vs Zaros vs Vod vs James Daniels vs Goober the Gooker vs Jeremy Squire vs Thing Uno vs Thing Dos vs Unknown 1 vs Unknown 2 vs The Technician vs Alan Hunter
Tech rolled into the ring at the last moment, much to Christoulos’s confusion. The crowd absolutely went wild when Alan Hunter’s name was called he and he was announced as “newly resigned”. The moment BOB heard Hunter’s name he went right after him and the battle royal began.
Loco was not fazed at all by Tech’s departure from the announce table as he began calling the action. He informs us that the winner of the battle royal would receive some sort of award later in the evening but Loco had no information on what the “award” would be.
In the ring eliminations where happening right, left and centre. BOB was madly trying to get his hands on Alan Hunter and ended up tossing both of the Unknowns and his own ally, Moondog Runt who made the mistakes of getting between him and his intended target. Meanwhile Vlars and Axel Moros reignited their issues with Surf ‘n Turf and would eventually eliminate both Vod and Zaros within seconds of one another. To the shock of everyone in the arena, this was followed up by the elimination of both Vlars and Moros by none other than James Daniels.
The remaining wrestlers in the ring, minus Tech and Moondog Buster, decided to team together to try and eliminate BOB, who had just tossed poor Jeremy Squire into the second row of the crowd. The small army of men would work together to try to flip the green-faced goliath over the top rope but his remaining stable mates would come to his rescue, and in the process eliminated Easy E and Thing Dos. This allowed BOB to finally get his hands on Alan Hunter and the big man was able to land a few devastating blows before going for the kill shot, a running boot. Hunter would manage to pull down the top rope at the last second and BOB would tumble to the floor and security quickly swarmed in to remove him from ringside.
With the better part of the contestants gone from the match it was down to the final eight: Sweet Daddy D, Alan Hunter, Faititli, Tech, Buster, Daniels, Goober and Thing Uno. Tech noted there was more baby faces in the match than heels left in the match and tried to lure Goober and Thing Uno over to their side. Poor Goober looked conflicted, as Faititili had come to his aid on more than one occasion, but Thing Uno didn’t seem to have any qualms about turning on former allies. He dumped Goober to the floor, much to the crowd’s shock and appeared to swear his allegiance to Tech and the others. Uno wasn’t down though with his treachery because as soon as Moondog Buster and Sweet Daddy D squared off he took great delight tossing both of them over the top rope. His celebration was shorted lived though as Tech would toss him out as well before turning his attention back to Faititli.
It was now down to only Tech, Hunter, Faititli and Daniels. Hunter and Faititili worked together to try to fend off the heels but a low blow by Daniels would drop Hunter to the mat. With Hunter temporarily incapacitated, Daniels quickly rushed over to help the Technician, who was just moments away from being eliminated by the Samoan warrior. Daniels would blindside Faititli from behind and with Tech’s assistance would dump him to the floor. The duo would turning their attention back to Hunter, who was still trying his best to get to his feet after the low blow.
Hunter tried his best to fend off both Tech and Daniels, but the duo was too much for him to fend off in his weakened state and he was soon being stomped on in the corner. Things appeared bleak for the newly rehired Hunter, but a mistake by Daniels, who accidentally clotheslined Tech while the masked man was trying to hold Alan, would lead to Hunter being able to shove the second generation wrestler over the top rope. The Technician would get back to his feet and find it was down to just him and Hunter, but he had no time to form a game plan because Hunter struck him with a super kick and Tech went tumbling over the top rope and to the floor.
Winner: Alan Hunter
The crowd went wild as referee Eddie Tims entered the ring and raised Hunter’s name in victory. A chant of “welcome back” echoed through the PWGP Exhibition Centre as he fell to his knees and raised his fists in the air.
BUAC spokesman, Robert Fredrick walked out on stage holding the PWGP Global Championship. He congratulated Hunter on his return and winning the Thanksgiving Battle Royal.
Robert Fredrick explained why he had the Global Title with him. Global Champion Brutus Smith met with doctors following last week’s match with Daimon and he has not been medically cleared to compete tonight in his contractually obligated rematch against the demon later tonight. Normally this would lead to the former champion, Daimon, being awarded the title back, but after meeting with the BUAC, Robert Fredrick has come with an announcement. Eli Buchanan, who never received his rematch for the Global Title after losing the title to Daimon, will face the demon tonight to determine a new champion, and because of his win here tonight in the Thanksgiving Battle Royale, Alan Hunter was being added to the bout to make it a Triple Threat Match.
Hunter appeared pleasantly surprised as the crowd began to cheer again. Outside the ring, Tech was visibly angry at the decision and kicked the chairs before complaining to Loco. We go to break with Hunter continuing to celebrate in the ring.
***
We return from break to find the remnants of the Invading Army, Kraken, “Iron” Mack Brody, Bryant Adam Thompson, the Agents of Pain and Máscara de Tigre del Negro in Robert Fredrick’s office, all yelling at once at the BUAC spokesman. Fredrick holds hi hand up and tells the group to shut up. He states he understands why they’re upset about not participating in the Thanksgiving Battle Royal, but honestly speaking, neither he or the BUAC really cares what they think since they all were part of the conspiracy to take over PWGP. Robert Fredrick says most of Kraken, Brody and Thompson should be thankful they even have their jobs right now, because they’re currently champions.
Fredrick’s words clearly concern Negro and the Agents. Agent B says he and Agent D have PWGP contracts, but Robert Fredrick informs them both that the BUAC made their contracts were null and void when they sided with the Invading Army, therefore their contracts were torn up by the BUAC and should Thompson or Krak ‘n Mack lose their titles before new ones can be written up, they will be immediately shown the door as well. Too bad no one has seen their manager, Saul Asper since he was injured by Faititili because most of the group standing in Fredrick’s office gave him power of attorney over their careers in PWGP.
Robert Fredrick informs Bryant Adam Thompson that he will defend the Television Title tonight against former champion, Goober the Gooker, but because he’s in a thankful mood and appreciates the effort these two men put in at tonight’s battle royal, he’s going to add Faititili and James Daniels to the match to make it a fatal fourway. Oh, and did he fail to mention, that match is about to start so Thompson better get down to the ring.
As Thompson runs off, fuming, Fredrick addresses Krak ‘n Mack and the Agents of Pain. The BUAC has reinstated the points system for the tag team division, so you must accumulate three points to earn a shot at the International Tag Team Champions, but they’ve decided to make an exception for one night only. Next week Krak ‘n Mack will defend the titles against the Agents of Pain. The winners will keep their jobs, while the losers will be immediately kicked out of the building. Robert Fredrick tells the four of them he would be wish them luck, but he honestly doesn’t care which team loses. The two teams immediately leave the office, staring holes into one another.
Finally Robert turns to speak with Máscara de Tigre del Negro. He tells the young luchadore that he should have Negro kicked out of the building because unlike the others he never he had a contract with PWGP to begin with. Good thing Negro has people looking out for him. Máscara de Tigre del Negro is honestly shocked when Robert Fredrick informs him that Eli Buchanan has spoken up for him, asking that Negro gets an opportunity to fight for his career. Therefore next week, Máscara de Tigre del Negro will face an opponent of Fredrick’s choosing and if he wins he will receive a PWGP contract. Fredrick then tells Negro to get out of his office before he makes the BUAC spokesman regret that decision.
Nego quickly leaves and we see him sighing with relief. Behind him, a hooded figure watches him from the shadows as he walks away.

MATCH 2
PWGP Television Title Match
Fatal Fourway Rules
Bryant Adam Thompson (champion) vs Goober the Gooker vs Faititili vs James Daniels
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Thompson is clearly not happy about having to defend his championship in a match where he doesn’t even have to be pinned to lose the title. The Technician is clearly a bit annoyed that he’s not in this match either, but reminds Loco and everyone listening to him that he has a contract that gives him a title match whenever he wishes. Loco asks him why not use it to insert himself in this match and Tech replies he’ll only cash in his opportunity when the odds are in his favour.
Thompson starts the match by trying to work out some sort of partnership with James Daniels. Daniels appears to agree, but suddenly grabs Thompson and sends him shoulder first into the ring post and tries to steal a three count with a school boy. It’s Goober, of all people, who breaks up the pin attempt. He tosses Daniels from the ring and hits a butterfly suplex on Thompson, but the pin is broken up by Faititili.
Faititili and Goober look about to go at it, but there still seems to be some kind of comradery between the two from what they’ve went through together over the past few weeks. The awkward moment between them is broken up with Daniels charges at them and they give him a double hip toss followed up with a double elbow drop with some funky dancing added in to the mix. The two high five each other but get taken down by Thompson with a double drop kick out of nowhere.
Thompson tosses Faititli out of the ring and hits yells at him, saying he will never beat him for the Television Champion. He turns and hits a spinning roundhouse kick to Goober. Thompson goes for Bat Outta Hell but James Daniels shoves him off the top rope and Thompson crashes to the floor. Daniels then quickly climbs to the top rope and hits a flying elbow drop on Goober and pins him for 1...2...3!
Winner: and new PWGP Television Champion, James Daniels.
Daniels grabs the Television Title and looks at it. He runs around the ring celebrating, while Thompson looks on with shock from the arena floor.
A group of security come out to ringside and ask Thompson to come quietly with them. The crowd realizing that Thompson has just lost his job start to chant, “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye!” Thompson yells at the security to back away from him. He grabs a chair and rolls into the ring, defying anyone to come in and try to drag him out. Faititili rolls into the ring behind him. When Thompson turns around the Samoan warrior super kicks the chair into his former best friend’s face and Thompson goes down in a heap. Immediately the security enter the ring and grab Thompson. They handcuff him and drag him out of the ring and up the entrance ramp, even as he screams and begs them not to do this. Faititli grabs a mic and yells, “Hey Bryant! Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye!” and the crowd starts singing it again as Thompson disappears from sight.

Robert Fredrick watches what has just happened with a certain level of satisfaction. Someone knocks on his office door and 24/7 Champion Alan Hunter enters. The two men shake hands and Fredrick once again congratulates Hunter on winning the battle royal and getting his job back. Hunter thanks him in return for the opportunity to win the PWGP Global Title tonight. This reminds Robert of something. He doesn’t like champions facing champions, so Hunter will have to forfeit the 24/7 Title before tonight’s main event.
Alan Hunter seems to have a better idea though. He goes out into the hall and grabs, Mark Lindsey, official referee of the 24/7 division. He sees Goober walking by, holding his head and tells the turkey man he did will out there. The two shake hands and Hunter acts like Goober has a grip of iron and immediately tells Lindsay he gives up. A confused Mark Lindsey hands an even more confused Goober the 24/7 Title and declares him the champion.
New PWGP 24/7 Champion: Goober the Gooker!?
Hunter re-enters Robert Fredrick’s office and tells the BUAC spokesman it’s been taken care of. He pardons himself so he can go get ready for the main event, leaving Fredrick to chuckle at the nonsense and go back to his work.

Backstage correspondent Lauire Heeley tries to get a word in with Eli Buchanan, but Buchanan takes one look at her and politely turns down the request. He’s immediately confronted by Riel, who blames Buchanan for Daimon losing the Global Title last week. Buchanan replies that he doesn’t know how Riel and his “better half”, Daimon, managed to keep employed with PWGP after the Invading Army was defeated last week, but unlike last week when Eli didn’t lay a finger on Daimon, the demon would feel all of his wrath tonight. Buchanan promised him two things: one, it didn’t matter if it was him or Hunter, one of them was going to walk out as Global Champion because it wouldn’t be Daimon, and two, Daimon was going through another buring table tonight.
Buchanan marched off, leaving Riel and Heeley by themselves. Heeley appeared about to ask a question before Riel told her to keep her mouth shut, otherwise he’d find a way to send her back to whatever diner the PWGP hiring staff found her in. He too departed, saying it was time to release Daimon upon the world once more.

MAIN EVENT
MATCH 3
PWGP Global Title Match
Triple Threat Rules
Daimon vs Eli Buchanan vs Alan Hunter
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
No sign of Riel, as Daimon walked out to the ring himself, rather than make his normal grand entrance. The crowd booed him as he made his way to down the ramp and Loco speculated that the demon had lost a bit of his mystique following his loss last week to Brutus Smith. Buchanan and Hunter both made their way down to the ring with loud cheers from the crowd.
At the beginning of the match it was quite clear that Hunter and Buchanan had agreed to work together to take Daimon down and worry about who became Global Champion afterward. Daimon tried to fight the pair off, grabbing them by the throats and shoving them away multiple times, but that battle plan came back to haunt him as Hunter grabbed hold of his right arm, allowing Buchanan to clip the demon’s leg from behind. Daimon dropped to both knees, allowing Buchanan and Hunter to hit a knee strike and super kick combination. The masked monster would fall to the mat and both men covered him, but Daimon literally tossed them both off him before the count of three. Buchanan would try to hit Daimon with another knee strike but the demon caught his leg. Hunter hit a second super kick but the blow seemed not to faze the beast at all. He shoved Buchanan away, sending him through the second and middle ropes to the floor with the momentum, and would rise to his feet.
Hunter, realizing he needed to play to his own strengths, would try quicken the pace. He ducked a clothesline from Daimon and hit the ropes, bounces off with a running drop kick that only made the demon take a few steps back. Hunter was undeterred. He hits the ropes again and spingboarded off with a leg lariat. Again, Daimon seemed unfazed from the move and grabbed Hunter with a handful of hair before he could try for a third high momentum attack. Hunter managed to counter out of the predicament by grabbing Daimon by the head and pulling him down into a jawbreaker on top his his own head. Buchanan chose this very moment to springboard into the ring with a flying clothesline, sending the big man backwards out of the ring.
The crowd cheered as Buchanan and Hunter stood there facing one another. The two of them fist dumped and without missing a beat started throwing fists at one another. Buchanan appeared to getting the better of the exchange when Hunter ducked under one vicious looking right and went for a super kick. Buchanan caught his foot and tried to spin him around but Hunter used the momentum to hit a spin heel kick that knocked Eli into the ropes. He charged at the former Global Champion, but Buchanan duccked and back dropped him over the top rope . Hunter landed on his feet and caught Buchanan with a leaping knee to the face. Buchanan staggered back and Hunter went for a springboard crossbody. Buchanan ducked and Hunter managed to roll through to his feet. He swung at Buchanan but Eli grabbed him from behind and went for a German suplex. Once again though Hunter landed on his feet and as Buchanan scrambled to his feet the two met with a stare off while the crowd applauded their effort.
Outside, on the arena floor, Daimon rose to his feet. Both competitors inside the ring saw this and in unison went for stereo suicide dives, but Daimon caught them both by the throat! To the shock of everyone in the audience, he picked them both up by the throats and choke slammed them on the ring apron. Both Buchanan and Hunter groaned in pain as they collapsed to the floor. Daimon grabbed Buchanan by the hair and tossed him back into the ring and then did the same to Hunter. He rolled in himself and went for the cover on Eli, but Buchanan kicked out a two. Undeterred, Daimon rolled rolled over on to Hunter, but he two managed to kick out at two.
Enraged now, Daimon lifted both men to their feet and went for a second double choke slam. Both men countered with a kick below the belt. They grabbed him and hit a double ddt and again both piled on top of him for the pin, but once again only could get a two count on the masked monster. Buchanan pulled Daimon to his feet and grabbed him from behind in a waste lock. Hunter caught Daimon with a super kick to the upper chest and Buchanan used the momentum to hit a German suplex. To the shock of both men though, Daimon almost immediately started getting to his feet. Buchanan charged in, looking for Thunderstruck, but Daimon grabbed him by the throat and choke slammed him again. Hunter went for another super kick but Daimon scooped him up and grabbed him by the throat. He brought Hunter down across his knee with a choke breaker and went for the cover, but Buchanan somehow managed to pull Andrew Roller away before he could make a three count.
Furious, Daimon got to his feet and tossed Buchanan out of the ring. He climbed out after him and picking him up again, tossed him across the announce table, almost wiping Loco and Tech out in doing so. Daimon reached under the ring and pulled out a table and set it up at ringside. Obviously remember Buchanan promised would happen to him tonight and seeking payback for what happened to him last week, Daimon grabbed a bottle of lighter fluid from beneath the ring and squirted it all over the table. He pointed a finger at the table and fire shot out, shocking the crowd and setting the table ablaze. Daimon turned around to grab Buchanan, but Buchanan jumped on top of the announce table and threw himself at the demon, causing them both to go crashing through the table.
While the crowd chanting accordingly to situations like this, Alan Hunter was still down in the ring. A cry from the crowd announced BOB’s arrival, along with the Guru. BOB climbed to the top rope and flew off, hitting Hunter with a flying headbutt. He started pounding Hunter with his fists until security arrived and dragged him out of the ring.
At the announce table, Tech reminded Loco about how he would pick his spot when the moment was right. Well, the moment was right. He quickly left the announce table and handed his contract to a weary Andrew Roller, who asked him if he was sure. The Technician made it clear he was and Roller handed the contract to Nick Christoulos, who announced that Tech was cashing in his contract. The Technician pulled a limp Alan Hunter to his feet and hit a piledriver and went for the cover. 1...2...3!
Winner: and new PWGP Global Champion, The Technician
The crowd was utterly shocked by what just happened. As Tech raised the Global title over his head, they began to boo and pelt him with garbage. The Technician though seemed to soak it all in before exiting the ring and joining his manager, the Guru, on the stage, while cameras zoomed in on Buchanan, Hunter, and even Daimon, all recovering around the ringside area. The show goes off the air with the Moondogs joining the new champion and their manager on the stage for their celebration and we’re left wondering what can possibly happen next.
So, in the meantime, and in between time… Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you!
