Welcome to PWGP “CHARGE”!
Tonight’s episode opens with BUAC Spokesman, Robert Fredrick. He announces that in four weeks time, PWGP will hold its next special event “Glory Road: Three Kings”. The card is still coming together, but Fredrick can announce that the show will be headlined by the semifinals and finals of a sixteen team tournament appropriately entitled, “The Three Three Kids Tournament”. While BUAC has only been back in control of PWGP for the past two weeks, this tournament has been months in the planning and Robert Fredrick is proud to announce they have managed to attract teams from around the world to participate. Tonight marks the beginning of the tournament on tonight’s expanded two hour episode of “CHARGE” and we will see four opening round matches, along with our already scheduled matches. Robert Fredrick finishes by promising we’ll learn more about in the weeks to come and thanks the audience for their continued support.

We go to ringside where our host, El Hombre Loco Enmascarado (better known simply as “Loco”) is on his own this week, but promises that Nick Christoulos will be joining him between his ring announcing duties. He hypes the Three Kings Tournament, as well as Máscara de Tigre del Negro’s match against a mystery opponent for to earn a PWGP contract, and tonight’s main event: the PWGP International Tag Team Champions, Krak ‘n Mack defending against their former Invading Army allies, the Agents of Pain. Loco reminds us about the added stipulation in the main event, the losing team is gone from PWGP. Also, last week a new PWGP Global Champion was crowned. Later tonight we’ll hear from the new champion, The Technician. With that said, Loco hands it over to Christoulos for the introductions of our opening contest.
MATCH 1
PWGP “Three Kings Tournament” Opening Round Match
Team Pollomania
(Orville Newton, MANDINGO and Capt Gill Baits)
(Orville Newton, MANDINGO and Capt Gill Baits)
vs
Team Extreme K
(Alan Hunter, Sweet Daddy D and Easy E)
(Alan Hunter, Sweet Daddy D and Easy E)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
The crowd was excited to see three of their favourites teaming up once again, and we’re not talking about Team Pollomania. Orville Newton did his best to try to keep his team on the same page his partners, collectively known as “The Pimp & Shrimp Connection” seemed uninterested in following his lead. Meanwhile Hunter and the East K Connection proved why they are considered to be one of the hands on favourites to win the inaugural 3KT with crisp tag team work and double team maneuvers. Team Pollomania showed glimpses of potential, especially Newton who continues to show improvement in the ring. At the end of the day though, it was Team Pollomania’s lack of cohesiveness that lead them to scander an opportunity in isolating Easy E to fight amongst themselves. Easy E was able to get the tag to Sweet Daddy D, who cleared house and would pick up the submission victory over MANDINGO with the Dragon Sleeper Hold.
Winners: and advancing to the Three Kings quarterfinals, Team Extreme K.

We go to backstage correspondent, Lauire Heeley, who is with Máscara de Tigre del Negro. She asks him for his thoughts about his match tonight. Negro promises that he will win tonight, regardless of who stands against him and will earn his PWGP contract. Heeley goes on to ask him about the hooded figure who has been stalking him over the past several weeks. Before he can answer though, Riel appears and wants to know who it is as well. He also wants to know why Negro hasn’t been answering any of his messages. Negro tries to walk away but Riel grabs his arm and tells him he owes everything to him. Negro responds by saying he owes Riel nothing and tonight he proves what he’s known all along, he doesn’t need Riel and never has. He marches of, leaving Riel to seethe.

MATCH 2
Máscara de Tigre del Negro (0 points)
vs

vs

(Referee: Mark Lindsey)
-If Negro wins, he gets a PWGP contract
-If Negro wins, he gets a PWGP contract
Negro waits patiently in the ring for his opponent to arrive. Out comes Jeremy Squire, best known to PWGP fans as the self-proclaimed “King of the Dark Match”. Squire never has a chance to make it to the ring, as he’s attacked by Riel from behind with a chair. Riel tells Negro that tonight should have been an easy night for him, but he chose to turn his back on the man who brought him into PWGP in the first place, so instead he’s going to face the DEMON!
Riel seems about to call for the lights to drop, but seems to have second thoughts. Loco observes that he appears almost nervous to do so. Instead, Riel returns to the back. Seconds later Daimon appears and now it’s Negro’s turn to appear nervous. Daimon picks Squire up by the throat. Pointing at the young luchadore, Daimon choke slams Squire on the entrance ramp and then starts making his way to the ring.
Negro doesn’t wait for him to get in the ring. He rushes across the ring and hits a diving drop kick through the ropes that catches Daimon off guard and sends him tumbling over the barricade and into the crowd. Negro quickly rolls back into the ring and climbs to the top rope. As Daimon rises, Negro leaps off and dives into the crowd with a somersault plancha that sends the masked demon crashing into several chairs. Grabbing one of the chairs, Negro climbs back over the barricade and into the ring. He climbs back to the top turnbuckle, chair in hand, and as Daimon stands up, leaps off and crashes into Daimon, smashing the chair into his face.
The crowd is firmly behind Negro now. He grabs the monster by the hair and tries to pull him to his feet, but Daimon suddenly grabs him by the throat and shoves him back first over the barricade, back towards the ring. The masked demon climbs over the barricade himself and as Negro stands, Daimon levels him with a big boot. Daimon picks him back up and tosses him into the ring steps with a crash. He picks the luchadore back up and tosses him into the ring and follows him in, stepping over the top rope.
Mark Lindsey tries to stop him, yelling that there’s no match. Loco points out from the announce boot that no one called for the bell so the match hasn’t actually even started yet. Daimon responds by grabbing Lindsey by the throat and choke slamming him. He turns and grabs Negro by the throat, but instead of simply going to for another choke slam, he grabs him by the leg and sets him up for a Choke Breaker instead, the move that has left both Alan Hunter and Eli Buchanan lying in the middle of the ring. Speaking of Buchanan, he’s not even here tonight so there appears to be no one here to stop Daimon from destroying Negro.
The lights suddenly go out in the ring. When they come back up, nothing has happened. Negro is lying in the middle of the ring, apparently dropped by Daimon as he looks around, confused and possibly a bit worried.
This proves to be nothing but a distraction though. The hooded figure we’ve been seeing watching Negro for weeks jumps over the barricade and drags the luchadore to safety. Before Daimon can react, the hooded figure helps Negro to get up to the top of the entrance ramp, while security and officials finally arrive to detain the masked demon.
The figure removes his hood and reveals that he too is wearing a tiger mask. Loco informs us all this is Red Tiger Kid, a young wrestler who has been tearing it up in the western United States in companies like Seattle Pro Wrestling and Nappa Valley Wrestling. He also, once upon a time, was Negro’s tag team partner as two thirds of a group known as “Ambush”, which is the name for a group of tigers. RTK tries to check on his former partner, but Negro pushes him away. Negro shouts something in Spanish at RTK and walks off, leaving the Japanese rookie looking frustrated.
NO CONTEST

Máscara de Tigre del Negro is visibly upset as he walks into Robert Fredrick’s office moments later. Fredrick is visibly annoyed by what he’s just witnessed in the ring. Daimon was completely out of control and ruined the planned match up. Negro asks for another shot but Fredrick shoots it down. He tells Negro what happened out there wasn’t his fault, but he did show a lot of heart out there and that deserves to be rewarded. Fredrick offers Negro his hand and congratulates him on becoming the newest member of the PWGP. Negro looks shocked but shakes Fredrick’s hand and thanks him for the opportunity. Fredrick tells him that it doesn’t end there, next week he will participate in the Three Kings Tournament. His partners aren’t the most ideal, but he’s confident that Negro will make the most of the opportunity.
He leaves Fredrick’s office and dumps into Red Tiger Kid. RTK admits to overhearing what was just said and congratulates Máscara de Tigre del Negro on getting his roster spot. He offers his hand to Negro, but the luchadore declines. He tells RTK he knows what he’s trying to do and doesn’t want any part of it. Much more calmly than before, he asks RTK to stay out of his business and stay away from him. He walks off, leaving RTK to shake his head before turning and going into Robert Fredrick’s office himself.

MATCH 3
PWGP “Three Kings Tournament” Opening Round Match
“Old School Inc”
(“Big Bad” Paul Carlyle, Avalanche Anderson and Jerry Apollo)
(“Big Bad” Paul Carlyle, Avalanche Anderson and Jerry Apollo)
vs
“We Three Things”
(Things Uno & Dos and PWGP 24/7 Champion, Goober the Gooker)
(Things Uno & Dos and PWGP 24/7 Champion, Goober the Gooker)
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
The crowd cheers the arrival of the three legends, particularly Carlyle who once co-hosted “CHARGE” before taking time off to have knee surgery. The cheers soon turn to jeers, however, as the three members of “Old School Inc” insult the crowd and get them riled up. Their opponents make no effort to even try to take the situation serious as Goober and the Things spend the opening few minutes playing tricks on the legends and spending just as much time on the arena floor inside the PWGP Exhibition Centre as they did in the ring.
Eventually Carlyle and his partners took control of the match and never seemed to lose. The three legends proved that their best years might be behind them but they were just as dangerous as ever, tossing all three of their opponents around the ring, eventually singling out Thing Uno and wearing him down for several minutes. Uno would eventually manage to make a tag to Goober after rolling out of the way of a splash from Anderson. Goober never had an opportunity to do anything as he was suddenly rolled up by his own partner Thing Dos. A confused Andrew Roller made the three count.
NEW PWGP 24/7 CHAMPION: Thing Dos
Thing Dos grabbed Uno by the arm and scooped up the 24/7 title before the pair made a run for it through the crowd. Goober soon made chase after the pair, leaving no one left in the ring to oppose Old School Inc. Andrew Roller, still looking very confused, slowly made the ten count and called for the bell.
Winners: and advancing to the Three Kings quarterfinals, Old School Inc.
The three legends didn’t seem to care what happened. They celebrated like they had just scored a huge victory and congratulated each other before heading to the back.

Lauire Heeley is back, this time with the Agents of Pain. She asks them for comments about their International Tag Team Title match against the current champions, Kraken and Mack Brody, with their jobs on the line. The Agents of Pain send a shout out to their manager, Saul Asper, who is still recovering from the injuries he suffered at the hands of Faititili two weeks ago. They go on to say that they hate the fact they have to face their “brothers” here tonight, but put over how they’ve been a tag team longer than Kraken has even been in the business. Tonight they hope that “Krak ‘n Mack” don’t hold any hard feelings towards them after they take the titles from them and go on to become the greatest team in PWGP while Kraken and Brody are in the unemployment line.
The Technician and his manager, The Guru enter. The Agents are defensive upon seeing him, remembering that Tech was partially responsible for The Invading Army losing control of PWGP two weeks ago, leading to the situation they now face. Tech ask for them to relax and tells them he’s only here to wish them the best of luck tonight. The Guru quickly adds that if they’re looking for new representation he’s more than willing to take on some new talent. The Agents tells them to get lost, stating they already have a great manager and tonight they’ll dedicate their victory to Saul Asper when they become champions. Tech and Guru back away and the Agents leave to prepare for their match.

MATCH 4
PWGP Television Title Match
“Top Ten” James Daniels
(champion, 0 points)
vs
Robbie “The Red” Baron
(champion, 0 points)
vs
Robbie “The Red” Baron
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Loco tells us Daniels is calling himself “Top Ten” because ten is better than five, an obvious shot at his father, “High Five” Jimmy Jive. Robbie Baron is relatively new to the business and were told to he will be participating next week in the Three Kings Tournament.
Daniels dropped Baron right off the bell with a clothesline and began to ground and pound him. He whipped Baron into the ropes and charged in, looking for another clothesline, but “The Red Baron” managed to get his feet up and stomped Daniels into the mat. Baron quickly followed up with a double axe handle from the middle rope and picked him up for a body slam. Daniels raked Baron’s eyes and used a school boy roll up to slam the back of Baron’s head into the bottom turnbuckle. Eddie Tims admonished him for the eye rake but Daniels ignore the referee. He lifted Baron up and hit a shoulder breaker before climbing to the top rope and hitting a flying elbow drop to pick up the quick three count.
Winner: AND STILL PWGP Television Champion, “Top Ten” James Daniels (2 points)
Following the match, James Daniels ordered Eddie Tims to remove Baron from the ring. When Tims wouldn’t comply, Daniels picked him up himself and chucked him from the ring before telling Tims to raise his hand a second time. Tims refused, instead going to check on Baron. Daniels seemed disgusted, but celebrated in the ring for several minutes anyways, much to the disdain of the crowd.

In his office, Robert Fredrick was re-watching footage of Daimon choke slamming Mark Lindsey, along with head referee, Andrew Roller. They were discussing what to do about Daimon when James Daniels barged in. He asked if they had seen how disrespectful Eddie Tims was towards him. He reminds them both that he is the only two-time PWGP 24/7 Champion in the title’s history, and THEIR Television Champion. Daniels said he deserves to be respected by the officials around here and wants to know what Fredrick and Roller are going to do to make it up to him.
Robert Fredrick reminds Daniels that the BUAC has put him in control, not Daniels, but perhaps he’s right. Perhaps Daniels does deserve more respect; after all, he was the first ever 24/7 Champion on top as well. Fredrick has an idea, since Daniels seems to have a problem with Eddie Tims and Mark Lindsey appears to require medical care and probably won’t be able to return to his duties for several weeks, perhaps Fredrick should have a referee who will officiate all his matches, exclusively. Daniels seems to like this idea and tells Andrew Roller, “Welcome to the team”. Robert Fredrick tells him though, as head referee, Roller is far too busy to officiate only James Daniels matches. Instead, he has another referee in mind, one who has just been signed with the company. Daniels demands to know who it is and Robert Fredrick points behind him. When Daniels turns around he is face to face with his father, “High Five” Jimmy Jive, wearing a referee shirt.
James Daniels is absolutely stunned. He yells that he beat Jive, he can’t be here. Robert Fredrick reminds Daniels that he only beat his father in a retirement match. Jive has decades of experience in the ring, which makes him the perfect person to become a referee. Jive dances around and tells his son it’s going to be just like old times and he can’t wait call his matches. The newly christened referee leaves the office while Daniels continues to look stunned. Robert Fredrick slaps him on the back and says, “You’re welcome,” before kicking Daniels out of his office and going back to conferring with Andrew Roller.

MATCH 5
PWGP “Three Kings Tournament” Opening Round Match
“Team Surf, Turf & a Shark Too”
(Vod, Zaros and Land Shark, w/ Getrude Quest)
(Vod, Zaros and Land Shark, w/ Getrude Quest)
vs
Team AMLL
(Asterio, Cielo Guerrera and Mosca de Loca)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
(Asterio, Cielo Guerrera and Mosca de Loca)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Long time fans of Lion’s Road might remember Asterio as a primary competitor in the early days of the company. He now regularly competes regularly for AMLL, a lucha libre company PWGP has working relations with. Your guess is as good as ours where Quest and Surf ‘n Turf found Land Shark but judging.
Team AMLL controlled the pace early on in the match, keeping things quick with their lucha style. Land Shark and Zaros both surprisingly seemed to fair well in the early goings but even they couldn’t keep up with the three luchadores and Vod’s head seemed to be spinning as Team AMLL literally ran circles around him for a while. It would take a chop block from Zaros and a huge slam from Vod on Asterio for their team to take control. “Team Surf, Turf & a Shark Too” played to their strengths over the next few minutes with Land Shark using ground and pound, Zaros cheating every chance he could while using high risk moves and Vod simply tossing Asterio around. It would take a misque by Land Shark, who accidently got in the way of a Spear from Zaros, that led to Asterio getting the tag to Cielo and would lead to Shark eating a pinfall after getting hit with a 630 Splash from the “Sky Warrior” with Mosca and Asterio kept his partners at bay.
Winners: and advancing to the Three Kings quarterfinals, Team AMLL
After the match, Team AMLL celebrated on the stage. Meanwhile in the ring Vod and Zaros were clearly upset with Land Shark and Gertrude Quest had to get between them and Shark to prevent anything bad from happening. She kept yelling, “Trust me,” and eventually the quartette left together as a unit.

Laurie Heeley is backstage with Krak ‘n Mack and asks them about their defense of the International Tag Team Titles later tonight against the Agents of Pain. Kraken answers her in French and Laurie turns to Mack Brody in confusion. Brody simply shrugs and says he doesn’t understand a damn word he says but they both speak one language in common, beating people up. Brody seems pretty angry about what The Agents of Pain said earlies and states that the Agents will feel the pain before he and Kraken kick their asses out the door. No one is going to take these titles from them.
Heeley changes the subject and asks them if they’ll be participating in one of the “Three Kings” qualifying matches next week if they successfully retain. Kraken and Brody look at each other and laugh. Brody says they will be and they’ve got a partner in mind that loves to beat people up even more than they do. Before she can ask them more about it, the champions walk off to get ready for their match.

MATCH 6
PWGP Three Kings Tournament Opening Round Match
Team MLWA
(David Lee Sellers, Duke Womack and Paulie Rod)
(David Lee Sellers, Duke Womack and Paulie Rod)
vs
The Unknowns 1, 2,& 3
The fans are very familiar with all three members of Team MLWA, as the company sometimes tapes matches for their own program before PWGP programs. Needless to say they are not greeted kindly by the crowd in the PWGP Exhibition Centre. This actually leads to The Unknowns being cheered for a change, something that is somewhat unheard of.
There’s little to be said about this match. Team MLWA absolutely dominated the match from the opening bell and The Unknowns were unable to get more than a few punches in, let alone any true offense. Paulie Rod, the runner up in last year’s “Buck U Cup”, got the victory for his team by making Unknown 3 submit to an ankle lock, which appeared to injure the masked wrestler, which probably means we won’t see him for another three months.
Winners: and advancing to the Three Kings quarterfinals, Team MLWA
While Team MLWA celebrated their victory, Things Uno and Dos came running out with the 24/7 Title and being chased by Goober the Gooker. The three of them would climb into the ring, not realizing Team MLWA was still there. Sellers, Womack and Rod would attack the wacky trio, tossing Goober and Thing Uno from the ring. Sellers would then drop Thing Dos with a power bomb and pin him.
NEW PWGP 24/7 Champion: David Lee Sellers
Sellers would grab the title off Dos and yell into the camera that he was taking the 24/7 Championship back with him to MLWA, so if PWGP wanted to ever see it again, they’d have to come to his house to come get it. The trio would then take their leave with Sellers draping the title across his shoulder.

MAIN EVENT
MATCH 7
PWGP International Tag Team Title Match
Krak ‘n Mack
(champions, Kraken and “Iron” Mack Brody)
(champions, Kraken and “Iron” Mack Brody)
vs
The Agents of Pain (Agents B & D)
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
-The losing team is gone from PWGP
Robert Fredrick came down to join Loco and Christoulos to call the action during tonight’s main event. Despite once being allies at one point, neither team appeared to so much as shake hands with one another. Loco asked Fredrick if this tension was what he was hoping for when he signed this match, Fredrick responded only by saying it felt good to see the shoe on the other foot.
The Agents of Pain tried to attack the champions right at the bell, but Krak ‘n Mack were ready for them and fists started flying. The crowd cheered wildly, not that they cared for either team but because, much like Robert Fredrick, they were enjoying these two hated teams beating one another up. Give the Agents credit, they’re two tough hombres, but in pure brawl they can’t stand toe-to-toe with Kraken and Brody for an extended period of time and soon the champions had them backing into the rope. The champions began to pound the challengers but when they both charged forward to knock their opponents out of the ring the Agents pulled the ropes down and sent them tumbling to the floor instead.
At this moment, The Guru stepped out from the back and began to observe the match from the top of the stage.
Back at ringside, the Agents both climbed to the top rope and dived off on top of the champions. They began to ground and pound both the champs before grabbing Brody and tossing him into the ring. The Agents hit a hi/low clothesline and chop block combination on Brody and Agent B covered him for a near fall. The Agents of Pain hits a double team slam and a double elbow drop for another near fall. Loco pointed out how we might be seeing the best performance from the Agents of Pain right here tonight and Christoulos quipped that having your job on the line would do that to you, which made Robert Fredrick laugh a bit.
The Agents of Pain would try to hit their double team finisher on Brody, the Flapjack, but Kraken would roll into the ring and flatten them both before they could hit the maneuver. Roller would order the French Canadian Colossus out of the ring but he was soon back in, legally, after Brody tagged him him. The behemoth would run through both his opponents with running shoulder tackes, followed up by tossing them into the corner and hitting a running avalanche splash on both men. He would try to put Agent B away with a leg-trap choke slam but Agent D would clip his knee from behind. This would bring Brody back into the the ring and the brawl would begin all over again amongst the four men.
In the midst of the chaos, The Guru made his way down to the ring. He grabbed Agent D’s foot, nearly tripping the taller of the two Agents. D would turn around and start yelling at the elderly manager, who held up his hands and apologized for the mistake. This though allowed Kraken to knock Agent D over the top rope with a clothesline, while Brody hit Agent B with a big boot. Brody and Kraken hit a double choke slam before Brody slapped his partner across the chest and pointed to the top rope. Kraken smiled, knowing what his partner had in mind. The masked super heavyweight climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit a picture perfect moonsault on Agent B, and, while Brody made sure D wouldn’t interfere, picked up the three count.
Winners: AND STILL PWGP International Tag Team Champions, Krak ‘n Mack
The Guru climbed up on the apron and applauded the champions. Brody held the ropes open for him and he climbed in, raising both their hands in victory. Loco, Christoulos and Fredrick were all shocked at the announce booth as it appeared The Guru had just usurped the contracts for the champions away from the absent Saul Asper.
PWGP Global Champion, The Technician, came out to ringside and joined the others in the ring. He started bragging about how he loved when a plan comes together, stating that he and The Guru had been planning this out for the past three weeks. He picked the right moment to cash in his title opportunity and now there was no one with enough points to get a shot at him for a long, long time; not Buchanan, not Daimon, not anyone. And now that the International Tag Team Champions had agreed to join The Family, there was no one who could stop them.
Robert Fredrick picked this moment to stand up and was handed a microphone. He congratulated him on how wisely he picked his moment to win the Global Champion, and Tech was right, with Deedee Gagnon having wiped out everyone’s points and the Three Kings Tournament in full swing, it was unlikely anyone would be claiming the ten points required to challenge him for a while.
Fredrick stated that there was two things he should point out though. The first of which was that the winners of the Three Kings Tournament could each get a title opportunity anytime they wished, just like Tech did last week. Tech stated that was fine because he was going to team up with Krak ‘n Mack and they would win the tournament and keep those points away from everyone else. This brought Robert Fredrick to his second point. He told Tech he wouldn’t be teaming with Kraken and Brody to enter the tournament because at “Glory Road: Three Kings”, The Technician would in fact be defending the Global Championship and it would be against the one person who still held claim to a shot at the title.
The lights in the arena went down and when they came back up former Global Champion, Brutus Smith stood at ringside, pointing right at Tech and signalling that he was going to take back the championship he never lost to begin with. Brody and Kraken stepped forward to shield Tech, while the champion and The Guru both yelled about how unfair this was.
The show goes off the air with the crowd cheering and electricity in the air. What’s going to happen next? Who will be the remaining four teams to make it to the quarter finals of the Three Kings Tournament. You’ll have to tune in next week to find out!
In the meantime, and in between time… Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you!
