Welcome to PWGP “CHARGE”
The show opens with El Hombre Loco Enmascarado (aka That Masked Guy, or “Loco). He apologizes to everyone watching around the world for the lack of a program last week. Loco doesn’t get into specifics but informs us that “issues” developed just moments prior to last week’s show which caused all but the emergency lighting in the PWGP Exhibition Centre to go out. Loco reassures us that both the BUAC and Buck U Productions are looking into the matter and hope to see if fully resolved in the weeks to come.
Having said that though, there was a show for the live show for those in attendance in the Exhibition Centre and PWGP managed to get the rights to footage shot by fans in attendance to bring us highlights:
-The Bam Brothers (Axel Moros, Vlars and Big O) defeated Old School Inc (Paul Carlyle, Avalanche Anderson and Jerry Apollo) in a hard hitting encounter when Vlars dropped Apollo with the Puke Bucket and Big O hit a flying splash. After the match, the live crowd gave Old School Inc a standing ovation and chanted “Please Come Back” as the trio bowed. The Bam Brothers have now advanced to the semifinals of “The Three Kings Tournament” and will face the winners of the match between “The Family” and Team AMLL, which happened later in the program.
-Next was a match between Red Tiger Kid and Máscara de Tigre del Negro. RTK appeared to want to simply talk but Negro wanted none of it and the two had a spectacular high flying contest. The two seemed to fight to a stand still, trading blows with one another from a kneeling position, when Daimon appeared and choke slammed both of them, leaving Eddie Tims to throw the match out. Officials would prevent the masked demon from doing any further damage and the duo were able to escape.
-”Top Ten” James Daniels would retain the Television Title against Zaros of Surf ‘n Turf. The match wasn’t without controversy, as continued to butt heads with his father, Jimmy Jive, who was assigned to officiate the encounter. In the end though Daniels would take advantage to an inadvertent distracting by the overly excited Land Shark, to hit Zaros with the Television Title and pick up the pinfall victory. This win would see Daniels regain the two points he lost last week when he had lost to Zaros by disqualification and makes his second successful defense of the Television Title.
-The Family (Kraken, Mack Brody and BOB, with their manager, The Guru) defeated Team AMLL (Asterio, Cielo Guerrera and Mosca de Loca) to advance to the semifinals of “The Three Kings Tournament”. The three luchadores put up an incredible fight, and faired much better than The Red Brigade had the week before, but once again it was a case of the much bigger members of The Guru’s Family, just simply being too much for the Mexican trio and Brody would pick up the victory, levelling Asterio with a lariat and pinning him. The Family will now face The Bam Brothers in the tournament semifinals.
-In the scheduled main event, The Brute Squad (Son of Brute and Mini Brute, with Tony Columbo and Brutus Smith) would defeat Moondogs Buster and Runt (with The Guru and PWGP Global Champion, The Technician). This was a wild contest that saw both teams using Buster’s bone at different moments in the match. Mini Brute would pin Runt with a Cannonball Senton from the top rope, but it was what happened after the match that left the fans carving more. Kraken, Brody and BOB came down to the ring and their intentions were clear, reinjure Smith’s knee prior to his Global Title Match with Tech at “Glory Days: Three Kings”. The Bam Brothers would arrive to even the odds and a huge brawl ensued that saw The Brute Squad and Bash Brothers clear the ring of The Family and send them running to the back.
-This would normally have been the end of the program, but Robert Fredrick appeared and ordered a special Halloween Battle Royal to thank the fans in the Exhibition Centre for being such great sports. Everyone in the battle royal was wearing a costume, including Goober the Gooker as an inflatable dinosaur, Things Uno and Dos as The Unknowns, The Unknowns as Things Uno and Dos, Vod as Gertrude Quest and “Hard Nosed” Jack Holm as himself. Orville Newton, dress as El Hijo del Pollo, would win the match, last eliminating Daimon, who was oddly dressed as a big game hunter with tiger masks on his belt. Red Tiger Kid and Máscara de Tigre del Negro would assist with the elimination and Daimon would chase them to the back. Robert Fredrick would congratulate Newton after the match and announce he would face James Daniels for the PWGP Television Title on next week (THIS WEEK’S) program.

We go to Robert Fredrick’s office, where he’s talking with Greg Stradford, MLWA General Manager, on the phone. The conversation appears heated and it’s suggested that member of the MLWA roster might have had something to do with what happened last week. The call ends with the BUAC Spokesman agreeing to let MLWA hold their the finals of their tag team tournament next week a “Glory Road: Three Kings”, as well as a MLWA Title match. Robert Fredrick seems less than pleased about either match but ultimately agrees, stating “I owe you one.”
The Unknowns, Things Uno and Dos, Surf ‘n Turf and a few others come into his office. Fredrick seems upset with the lot of them, suggesting they are just as responsible for what happened last week as anyone from MLWA, but they will have to deal with that matter at another time. Fredrick informs them that BUAC has decided to pull the trigger on another championship in PWGP, the Wings of Icarus Championship. This title will be meant for those not afraid to “fly to close to the sun”, with a 205 pound weight limit. The first champion would be determined at “Glory Days: Three Kings”, with a “tournament, within the tournament”. There would be be two six pack challenge matches, with the winners moving on to the tournament finals to crown the champion. He wishes all the lighter members of the roster good luck and kicks them out of his office.

MATCH 1
Three Kings Tournament Quarterfinals Match
Team Extreme K
(Alan Hunter, Easy E and Sweet Daddy D)
vs
?
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
We’re told prior to the match by Loco that Danjon no Unmei, the Japanese team lead by GRIM, did not catch their flight to Winnipeg and thereby forfeited the match. However, when Nick Christoulos prepared to make the announcement, Alan Hunter grabbed the microphone from him and said they weren’t going to accept a win by forfeit and on behalf of his partners, The East K Connection, he makes an open challenge to any trio not still in 3KT. This brings out Gertrude Quest with Surf ‘n Turf to answer the challenge.
MATCH 1
Three Kings Tournament Quarterfinals Match
Team Extreme K
(Alan Hunter, Easy E and Sweet Daddy D)
vs
Surf ‘n Turf
(Vod, Zaros and Land Shark, with Gertrude Quest)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
The momentum would quickly change when Easy E tagged back into the match and Zaros racked his eyes, allowing him to tag Vod back into the match, who nearly ran Double E over with a running shoulder tackle. Vod and Zaros would make a series of quick tags as they worked over Easy E’s neck and back, setting him up for their one of their pet finishers. Despite his pleading, the duo ignored Landshark’s frequent requests for a tag, as both of them were tired of his shenanigans. Finally though, Landshark had enough and as Vod set Easy E up for the Deep Six, he tagged himself in. the ensuing argument between him and the other members of Surf ‘n Turf would allow Easy E to make the tag to Alan Hunter and Hunter would level all three of their opponents with a flying cross body block.
Things quickly broke down with Sweet Daddy D coming into the ring as well. He and Hunter began having a super kick party, hitting all three of their opponents with a series of the lethal maneuvers. Vod and Zaros would be tossed from the ring, leaving poor Landshark to fend for himself. Easy E was tagged back into the match and Team Extreme K hit a triple super kick before all ascending to separate top turnbuckles. Sweet Daddy D would hit a flying elbow drop, followed by a Swanton from Hunter and finally a frog splash from Easy E who picked up the pinfall for his team.
Winners: and advancing to the Three Kings Tournament semifinals, Team Extreme K.
Following the match, Team Extreme K quickly departed to celebrate and await to find out who they will face in the semifinals next week at “Glory Road: Three Kings”. After they departed though, Vod and Zaros got back in the ring and began browbeating Landshark for costing them the match. Quest would stop the verbal assault, only to nearly level Landshark with a stiff right hand. She would start barking orders at Vod and Zaros, who picked their former ally up and hit their power bomb and blockbuster combination they call “Into the Sea”. The three of them would then leave him lying in the ring and departed for the back.

Backstage interviewer, Laurie Heeley is standing by with Red Tiger Kid and Máscara de Tigre del Negro. She asks the pair if they are planning to reform the partnership they shared before the pair arrived in PWGP. RTK says he would enjoy that, but understands Negro’s reluctance though and will no longer press the issue. Tonight though, they must team together if they hope to stand a chance against Daimon and The Technician in tonight’s main event. Negro agrees with him this will be a tough fight for them, but warns Daimon and Tech if they’re not careful they might just face an ambush.
The Guru and Reil enter and we see sinister ginger hand a large wad of cash to Guru. Guru tells the two young wrestlers that tonight they will be made an example of for their heroes, Brutus Smith and Eli Buchanan of what awaits them next week at “Three Kings”. The pair walks away laughing, while RTK and Negro looked concerned.

MATCH 2
Axel Moros
(with Vlars and Big O)
(with Vlars and Big O)
vs
BOB
(with Kraken, Mack Brody and The Guru)
(with Kraken, Mack Brody and The Guru)
(Referee: Jimmy Jive)
This match is a preview for the semifinals match next week at “Glory Days: Three Kings” between The Bam Brother and The Family in the tournament semifinals, but it’s also the latest chapter in the bitter feud between the two big men. As soon as the bell rings they start throwing wild right hands at one another. BOB kicks Moros in the gut and hits a running clothesline, but Axel barely moves at all. BOB tries a second one but once again he cannot move the behemoth. BOB tries for a third clothesline, but his time Moros ducks and scoop slams the green-faced goliath to the mat. Kraken and Brody drag BOB outside the ring before Axel can follow up and The Guru starts whispering orders in BOB’s ear.
BOB rolls back in the ring and Moros moves into attack. Brody climbs up on the apron and distracts him long enough for BOB to hit him from behind with a double axe handle blow and a knee to the side. BOB impressed everyone in the ring by scooping Moros up and slamming him to the mat before following up with a leaping leg drop. He hits a series of falling headbutts to Moros as he lies on the mat before going for the pin, only to get a two count. The Guru directs him to go to the top rope and BOB does so. He jumps off, looking for a diving headbutt, however, Moros rolls out of the way and BOB finds no water in the pool to soften his hard landing.
Both men are slow to get up and their teams cheer them on. BOB’s to his feet first and hands a headbutt, but it doesn’t seem to faze Moros one bit. He gives BOB a headbutt of his own, which seems to stun the wild man a bit. Moros hits a second headbutt, then a third. BOB falls against the rope and bounces back into Moros’s arms, who hits the Rolling Death Valley Driver out of nowhere. He goes for the cover, but Brody is in the ring to break up the pin and Jimmy Jive calls for the bell.
Winner: by disqualification, Axel Moros (1 point)
After the match BOB and Brody attack Moros. Kraken tries to get in the ring as well to help out, but Big O breaks Vlar’s mop handle across his back. Meanwhile Vlars rolls into the ring with his metal bucket and starts hitting both Brody and BOB with it and the pair quickly make their escape, leaving The Bam Brothers standing tall and Moros with an important victory heading into next week’s special show. Jive raises Moros’s hand in victory one more time before we move on.

In his office, BUAC Spokesman Robert Fredrick watches what’s just transpired with PWGP Television Champion, “Top Ten” James Daniels. Daniels seems pleased that Jive just officiated the last match and believes this means he won’t be the referee when he defends against Orville Newton later tonight. Fredrick states Daniels’s father will in fact referee his match and reminds that his title defence will be after the following match. Daniel leaves in a huff to conclude this brief interaction.
***
Laurie Heeley is standing by with Tony Columbo. She asks him if Brutus Smith will be ready to compete next week for the PWGP Global Title next week and Columbo gives her a long, confusing response that suggests Brute will be, although he’s almost as hard to understand as the masked giant is himself. He goes on to say that it’s been too long since there was a real number one contender for the PWGP International Tag Team Titles, and on behalf of The Brute Squad he’s challenging any three other teams next week at “Three Kings” to a four corner elimination match, which means any of the four teams has the potential to get the three points they require to challenge for the titles. He then takes his leave of Lauire and heads for the buffet, or maybe the washroom (it’s really hard to understand him).

MATCH 3
Three Kings Tournament Quarterfinals Match
The Funky Brew
(Faititili, Philly Cheese Snake and True North Ant)
vs
Team MLWA
(Paulie Rod, David Lee Sellers and Duke Womack)
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Team MLWA tries to attack The Funky Brew right at the bell, but Faititili and company are ready and a huge brawl begins the match. This leads to all three members of Team MLWA being deposited over the top rope and The Funky Bunch standing tall in the early going.
Eddie Tims works quickly to try to gain some sense of order in the match. Womack and Philly start for their respective teams. Womack tries to show off his technical superiority but the snake man is more than able to go hold for hold with him and the two of them chain wrestle for the next few minutes, ending in a series of close pinfall attempts. Womack slides back to his corner and tags in Sellers, who points at TNA and yells that he wants a piece of him. True North Ant is tagged in and Sellers challenges him to a test of strength. At first Sellers seems to get the better of the exchange but TNA proves that he might just be one of the pound for pound strongest men in the company by fighting back and getting the better of the knuckle lock. Sellers has to resort to a kick to the gut to break the hold but TNA manages to counter a lariat with a pair of hip tosses and a drop kick.
A dazed Sellers tags in Paulie Rod, who tells True North Ant he wants a piece of Faititili. Loco reminds us that it was a little over a year ago that Rod and Faititili met in the finals of the Buck U Cup, which the Samoan warrior won, and it was that victory that led him to become the first ever PWGP Television Champion. Rod obviously hasn’t forgotten that and is hoping to get a measure of revenge tonight. Faititili is about to lock up with Rod, when a commotion from the crowd catches his eyes. Bryant Adam Thompson, wearing the MLWA Title (SPOILER ALERT), enters through the crowd with Saul Asper and The Agents of Pain and take seats in the front row. All four men are wearing MLWA t-shirts and when confronted by security they hold up tickets for tonight’s show.
Rob takes advantage of the distraction to attack Faititili from behind and hits a chop block. He spits at Philly and TNA, who both come in the ring. Eddie Tims moves to stop them, allowing Sellers and Womack to enter and all three men attack Fatititli’s leg. Tims turns around too late to prevent the assault, but quickly gets two of them out of the ring, leaving Womack to continue the damage that Rod had started. He begins twisting Faititli’s knee with a leg grapevine before reaching out and getting the tag to Sellers, who comes off the second rope with a huge stomp to Faititili’s exposed knee. This attack on Fatitili’s leg would continue for the next several minutes, with Team MLWA continuing to make frequent tags, while they were cheered on by Asper’s Army in the front row.
Faititili would nearly get the tag to Philly Cheese Snake after hitting a enziguri on Womack, but Sellers would charge across the ring to try to knock his partners off the apron. TNA pulled the top rope down and Sellers would tumble to the floor and Faititili made the tag to Philly Cheese Snake. The snake man would enter and hit Womack with a series of lightning fast kicks. Rob would come in but would get caught with a cobra clutch suplex that would temporarily incapacitate him. Philly would lock in a cobra clutch on Womack but Sellers broke up the hold before his partner could tap. This led to True North Ant coming in and spearing Sellers out of the ring. In the confusion, both Rod and Faititili were tagged back in the match. Faititili hit a super kick to his old rival before climbing to the top rope looking for a splash.
The Agents of Pain took this opportunity to jump the barricade and climb up on the ring apron. Security came out to try to remove them and all eyes were on them. This allowed Bryant Adam Thompson to jump over the barricade as well and knock Faititil off the top rope. Paulie Rod locked Faititili in a knee bar, while Sellers and Womack insured neither TNA or Philly could help him. Unable to make it to the ropes and his friends unable to save him, Faititili finally tapped out to the hold and Tims called for the bell.
Winners: and advancing to the Three Kings Tournament semifinals, Team MLWA.
Security quickly escorted Thompson and The Agents of Pain out of the Exhibition Centre, while their MLWA compatriots celebrated in the ring. Rod, Sellers and Womack laughed at Faititili as he was helped to the back by TNA and Philly. Their jubilation was cut short though, as they were attacked from behind by Things Uno and Dos, who had referee Mark Lindsey with them. Rod and Womack were dumped out of the ring and Dos rolled Sellers up, putting his feet on the ropes for the three count.
NEW PWGP 24/7 Champion: (or is it MLWA S.H.I.T. Champion?): Thing Uno
The Things try to make a run for it with the title, but are cut off by Womack and Rob. Womack drops Uno with a DDT on the arena floor and covers him for the pin.
NEW MLWA S.H.I.T. Champion: Duke Womack
The members of Team MLWA quickly jump over the ringside barricade as the PWGP locker room empties to try to regain their once again stolen title. Womack laughs from amongst the fans, holding the title above his head and disappears to the back with Sellers and Rod.
***
Back in Robert Fredrick’s office, he’s back on the phone with Greg Stradford demanding to know what just happened out there. He doesn’t seem to believe Stradford when he states he had nothing to do with it and gets angry when Stradford suggests this might not have happened if he and the BUAC hadn’t fired Thompson and the Agents of Pain. Fredrick hangs up but notes out loud it doesn’t feel quite as satisfying to do so pressing the “End” button on his phone, rather than slamming the receiver down.

MATCH 4
PWGP Television Title Match
“Top Ten” James Daniels
(champion)
vs
Orville Newton
(challenger)
(Referee: Jimmy Jive)
Daniels is once again not pleased to see his father officiating the match and gives him a rough time when he pats him down prior to the match. Orville Newton, on the other hand, is looking more confident than he has ever had before.
The two lock up, but Daniels quickly pulls back and jumps out of the ring. He grabs the Television Title and starts heading back up the entrance ramp. Jive is handed a microphone by Christoulos and tells Daniels that he had a feeling his son might try to do something like this. That’s why he went to the BUAC and got them to authorize him to strip Daniels of the title if he should intentionally get himself counted out. Daniels protests this decision but as his father begins the count, he finally makes a dash for it and just slides in the ring before the count of ten.
His relief over remaining champion is only momentary as Newton grabs him in a small package and gets a two count. Daniels scrambles to his feet but almost gets pinned with a school boy when he takes a swing at his opponent and then again when Newton manages to catch him in a backslide. Just a quick as Daniels got into the ring, he slides back out, looking to slow the pace down.
Jive begins the count again and Daniels tells him to calm down before he gives himself a stroke. Once again we waits almost until the count of ten before getting back in the ring and Loco questions whether Daniels is trying to run the time limit down, something unheard of in PWGP, a company whose athletes have treated the Television Title as a fast track to a Global Title match. That’s exactly what it seems Daniels is doing though, as he exits the ring twice more to slow the pace down.
Perhaps realizing this as well, Newton finally jumps out of the ring and goes after him. Daniels sees him coming and starts running around the ring, with Newton hot in pursuit. Daniels rolls into the ring and when Newton follows him in, Daniels drops an elbow across his back. He picks Newton up and sends him shoulder first into the ring post and locks on a modified cobra clutch, looking for a submission victory, and once again eating away at the time limit.
Daniels goes for a roll up and only gets a two count. He starts yelling at Jive to count faster but his father warns him not to lay a finger on him, otherwise he’ll disqualify him and strip him of the title. This seems to light a fire under Daniels and he begins to stomp on Newton and drop a series of elbows before going for a cover and only getting another two count. Now showing signs of frustration, Daniels slams Newton in the centre of the ring. He climbs to the top rope and signals for the flying elbow, but instead of going right for the move he starts jawing with his father again. Finally he leaps in the air, but Newton rolls out of the way and hen crashes hard to the mat.
Jive begins to count both men down and the two wrestlers slowly get to their feet. Newton is up first and he fires away with a series of right hands before going for a crucifix pin when Daniels goes for a wild right punch. Newton only gets two, but it right back on him, looking for another pin attempt. Out of desperation, Daniels racks his eyes and whips Newton into the corner. He follows in but Newton gets his foot up and catches Daniels under the chin. Newton gets up on the second rope and hits a leaping Silverdust cutter and goes for the cover, just as the ring bell sounds. Nick Christoulos reluctantly announces that the ten minute time limit has been exceeded.
TIME LIMIT DRAW
The crowd boos as Daniels rolls out of the ring and retrieves his championship. He starts heading to the back, as both Jive and Newton look on with disappointment, albeit for different reasons. Robert Fredrick appears on the big screen and tells Newton not to look too upset. He liked what he saw tonight, so next week as “Glory Road: Three Kings”, Orville will get one more shot at becoming Television Champion, when he faced Daniels again, this time with no time limit. Daniels is livid and has a tantrum while everyone else looks pleased.

Back from break and ready for the main event. Red Tiger Kid and Máscara de Tigre del Negro are already waiting in the ring and are talking strategy with one another. The Guru comes down to the ring with The Technician. The Guru hands the PWGP Global Champion the mic and Tech tells us that he hates this conspiracy against him as champion. Not only does he feel Brutus Smith has no right to a rematch for the Global Title, which Tech won fair and square after Brute forfeited the title due to injury, but it’s obvious PWGP wants Tech to get hurt tonight against “Eli’s boys”. Well that isn’t happening and he promises once he and Daimon get done with “these cubs” it will be something no one will forget.
Reil appears on the stage and makes his way to the ring as well. He tells Tech he completely agrees with him and tells everyone that he has come to realize that he and Daimon have nothing to fear from anyone, but everyone should fear him and Daimon. He points to the sky and the lights go off. When they come back up, Daimon is standing in the ring instead of Reil, but so is Eli Buchanan and Brutus Smith!
The crowd cheers as Smith and Buchanan going right after Tech and Daimon. Buchanan clotheslines Daimon over the top rope and both go tumbling to the arena floor. Meanwhile Tech tries to escape from Smith, but grabs him by the mask and spins him around, grabbing him for a choke slam.
The Moondogs rush down to the ring to help out their captain out. Everyone has forgotten Negro and RTK are standing in the ring. They hit stereo planchas and take the Moondogs out on the arena floor!
Kraken, Brody and BOB come running out but The Bam Brothers are out and meet them on the entrance ramp and they all brawl into the crowd.
Team MLWA is back, with the Agents of Pain and Bryant Adam Thompson. Team Extreme K and the Funky Brew come out and they all begin to fight as well.
It’s chaos everywhere in the PWGP Exhibition Centre! The locker room empties and people are fighting everywhere!
Back in the ring Brute is still hold Tech by the throat. The Technician wisely kicks Brute’s weakened knee and the masked giant releases his grip. The Guru hands Tech the Global Title and he tries to hit Smith with it. Brute sees him coming and smack the title out of his hands. He grabs The Technician by the throat and hits a choke slam in the middle of the ring. Smith picks up the Global Title and holds it over his head as “CHARGE” comes to an end.
-Can Tech retain the Global Title against Brute Smith, or is his reign about to “I am Brute”?
-Will all our nightmares come to fruition and Daimon becomes WTC Destiny Crown Champion, or will Eli Buchanan finally end the demon’s reign of terror and send him back to whence he came?
-Who will become the first Wings of Icarus Champion?
-WHO WILL BECOME THE THREE KINGS?
So many questions and I’m too tired to answer them. Tune in next week for PWGP “Glory Road: Three Kings” to find out these answers and so much more. Until then, in the meantime and in between time… Good night, God bless, and may the Force be with you!

-Following the tapings, once again everyone fought their way down to the ring for control of PWGP 24/7 / MLWA S.H.I.T. Championship. At this point, Thompson and the Agents of Pain joined forces with Sellers, Womack and Rod to fight off the members of the PWGP roster and the others. They then destroyed all the cameras in the PWGP Exhibition Centre, as well as doing severe damage to many of the electrical panels in the building, cause the PWGP Exhibition Centre to lose most of its power and preventing them from broadcasting last week.
