From Detroit Rock City, it's the End of the Road 2019! Hello fight fans and welcome to today's program, I'm Sam Hewitt alongside Brian Shelzi and we've got a special ninety minute program for you. Two big steel cage matches, one of which is for the World's Heavyweight title. Ben Chrenshaw, the reigning champion defending against the man he beat... albeit in controversial fashion, David Troy.

That's the whole reason the cage is up. No outside help in this one tonight. The cage keeps the fighters in and everyone else out. Chrenshaw and Troy have had a tremendous rivalry that dates all the way back to January's Heritage Cup and it seems only fitting that the end of the year wraps up something that started at the beginning.
SAM HEWITT
Speaking of the Heritage Cup, we're going to be joined later on in the program by Rafa, the new Heritage Heavyweight Champion. He... or his manager, Marion Payett will be sharing their thoughts on facing Jason Cashe in the opening round. And maybe the other fighters in the bracket, too. Our second cage match is a rematch of a World title bout from back in the summer. Alexander Irvine battles AJ Knight in the fifteen foot high cage, Knockout or Submission only.
BRIAN SHELZI
Both men know what it's like to be inside that structure, but only AJ has won one. I'm not counting War Games - that's a different beast entirely. I know this rule set benefits Irvine, who doesn't like going for pinfall victories to begin with, but can AJ Knight tap out or knockout Alexander Irvine?
SAM HEWITT
Plus we've go--
We're interrupted by "New Orleans is Sinking" by the Tragically Hip as it leads the Heritage Tag Team Champions down to the ring. Eli Buchanan and Hammerstein, each with a belt over their shoulder, bump fists at ringside.
BRADY ROSSEN
Ladies and gentlemen, your opening bout of the evening is to be fought over a ten minute time limit for one fall, one submission or a knockout to decide the winner! Introducing first at a combined weight of four hundred and fifty eight pounds... BUSTER! RUNT! THE MOONDOGS!
The Moondogs are already in the ring and give the fans a piece of their mind in response to the boos.
BRADY ROSSEN
Their opponents at a combined weight of four hundred and seventy seven pounds... HAMMERSTEIN! AND ELI BUCHANAN!
The Champs get inside and hand their titles off and quickly get checked over.
BRADY ROSSEN
Your referee for this bout is Robbie Morris!
We start things off with Hammerstein and the bigger of the Moondogs, Buster. The tag team champion grabs the arm of the man... or dog from Parts Unknown and wrings it around, before dropping to his knees and delivering a fireman's carry to the mat. Buster gets back to his feet and complains to referee Robbie Morris that the Hammer pulled his hair, but Morris tells him he had a clean view of the whole thing and no such thing happened.
BRIAN SHELZI
Maybe if he combed his hair once in a while, he wouldn't feel like it's being pulled.
The two men lock-up and Hammer backs Moondog up into the corner and holds on until Morris calls for a break. Hammer breaks clean, but Buster slaps him across the face! The Heritage Tag Team Champion responds by slapping on a side headlock, but the heavier Buster shoves him off into the ropes. Hammer bounces off, ducks underneath a lariat attempt and tries to hook-up for a full nelson... but Buster hits him with a back elbow. With the American Monster staggered momentarily, Moondog Buster charges into the ropes...
POUNCE!
Hammerstein lays him out! Hammer gets up and roars as the Detroit crowd gives their support! Buster rolls out of the ring, making an automatic tag to Moondog Runt while Hammer tags in Eli Buchanan. Runt comes in and slides between Eli's legs, he springs up and rakes Buchanan in the eyes! Morris throws up a yellow card as Runt throws a couple of punches and then a kick to double the two time manager of the year over. Runt slaps on a front chancery and leaps up to gain some momentum...
BUT ELI HANGS ON!
NORTHERN LIGHT SUPLEX!
SAM HEWITT
Moondog Runt thought he had a DDT ready to strike, but Eli Buchanan hangs on and shows us why his suplex arsenal is nearly unmatched in Lion's Road.
Buchanan doesn't float over for the pin, but instead opts to scoop Runt up off the mat and hoists him into a spinebuster position. He charges toward the ropes and throws Runt against them, he bounces off and Eli catches him!
NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!
SAM HEWITT
Good grief! The Chaos Driver finds it's mark, but I don't think I've ever seen it set-up like that. That should be it for him.

3!
Hammerstein stops holding Moondog Buster off and turns around to celebrate the win with Buchanan, as Morris checks on Runt. The duo collect their tag titles and hold them high!
SAM HEWITT
And that is why they a--what on...?
Two men hit the ring and attack the champions!
BRIAN SHELZI
You know who that is, Sammy?!
SAM HEWITT
I do. Go Gensai and Frank Dylan James - the World Tag Team Champions! Mandeville Nelson said they were coming, but I didn't think they'd be here 'til the new year.
Gensai takes Eli and delivers a Gensai style piledriver! A leg hook belly to back suplex lifted into a piledriver! While FDJ creams Hammerstein with a big boot to the face and then delivers a crushing powerbomb! The two men stand tall, raising their World Tag Team titles high in the air with the Heritage Tag Team Champions unconscious on the mat.
SAM HEWITT
I'd say that's a statement - a very loud and clear one.
