We’re welcomed to PWGP “Glory Road: Battle Bowl II” by El Hombre Loco Enmascarado and Nick Christoulos. The announce duo quickly review tonight’s card:
-A gauntlet match to crown the new PWGP Television Champion. Two men will start and once one of them has been eliminated the next participant will enter. The last man standing will be the new Television Champion.
-”High Five” Jimmy Jive vs “Top Ten” James Daniels in a “I Respect You’ Match”. The feud between this father and son has lasted over a year. Tonight one of these two men must make his own flesh and blood utter the words “I respect you” to win. What lengths will these two go to make one another utter those words?
-New PWGP Wings of Icarus Champion, Robbie “Red” Baron will defend the title against former champion, Zaros, and the number one contender, Kurt Thomchuck, in a Triple Threat Match.
-PWGP Global Champion The Technician defends against Sweet Daddy D, who earned ten points as PWGP Television Champion before forfeiting the title to claim this opportunity.
-But tonight is about the Lethal Lottery and Battle Bowl! Tonight the war between PWGP and MLWA comes to an end. 20 wrestlers from both companies will be randomly thrown together in tag team matches. These PWGP/MLWA combinations must coexist because the winners will advance to Battle Bowl, a ten man battle royal with bragging rights going to the winner and the company they represent. BUAC Spokesman has apparently giving his roster some motivation. If a PWGP wrestler wins Battle Bowl, he will challenge for the PWGP Global Title in four weeks.
It’s time for the opening contest and Nick Christoulos goes to the ring to announce the first two participants.
MATCH 1
PWGP Television Title Gauntlet Match
Participant 1: Moondog Runt
vs
Participant 2: Vod
(Referee: Mark Lindsey)
Runt tried his best against the much bigger Vod. At points the beast from the deep would unable to solve the the pinball enigma that is Moondog Runt, but he would finally be able to ground his wild adversary with a gorilla press slam. Runt would fight back but Vod would catch him with the Deep Six piledriver to put him away fro the three count.
Eliminated: Moondog Runt
Participant 3: Thing Dos
Thing Dos would start the match with his usually brand of shenanigans, which frustrated Vod. After spending a few minutes chasing Dos around the ring, Vod finally got his hands on him and took out his frustrations out with a series of slams. It didn’t take long for Vod to drop Thing Dos with the Deep Six for the pinfall.
Eliminated: Thing Dos
Participant 4: Thing Uno
Vod would tackle Uno with a spear the moment he entered the ring and he started to toss his opponent from pillar to post. Loco and Christoulos began to wonder if anyone was going to be able to stop the sea monster. It looked like Uno would be the next to fall when Vod would tossed him out of the ring and toss him into the barricade, but when Vod tossed him back into the ring he found he was unable to follow him. Thing Dos has stayed at ringside and hid under the ring to grab Vod’s foot. Vod was unable to get back in the ring before Mark Lindsey counted ten and awarded the fall to Thing Uno.
Eliminated: Vod
Following the fall, Vod would drag Dos out from beneath the ring and smashed him into the ring post. He would then roll into the ring and destroy Uno with three Deep Sixes before finally leaving the ring.
Participant 5: Landshark
Landshark wasted no time taking advantage of his “Surf ‘n Turf” partner’s dirty work. He would hit Uno with a Backslide Driver and pinned him for the elimination.
Eliminated: Thing Uno
Participant 6: Orville Newton
This match would go back and forth between the two competitors, with neither man able to keep the advantage for very long in this contest. Orville would finally take advantage of a mistake, blocking an attempted hurricanrana and put Landshark away with a Blockbuster from the middle rope.
Eliminated: Landshark
Final Participant: Moondog Buster
Buster would use his strength advantage to dominate the first few minutes of the match, as Orville was still recovering from the previous fall. Newton would be able to fight back and surprised Buster with a few close falls. He appeared to be on the verge of regaining the Television Title when he came off the top rope with a cross body block but Buster rolled through and got the shocking three count.
Winner: AND NEW PWGP Television Champion, Moondog Buster.
Following the match, Moondog Runt would return to the ring to celebrate with Buster. The new champion was seemed just as shocked at his victory. Loco and Christoulos noted that this was the biggest moment of Buster’s career and they couldn’t help but point out that he did this without the help of his former longtime manager, The Guru.
Orville Newton would shake hands with the new champion before rolling out of the ring and heading up the ramp. He would take a moment to wave at the fans in attendance in Pollo Hall Winnipeg. The moment was quickly ruined as Big O ran out from the back and blindsided him. He ran off before the Moondogs could intervene but seemed very satisfied with what he had done to his former tag team partner.

We go to the back where Laura Heeley is standing by with BUAC Spokesman Robert Fredrick and MLWA GM Greg Stradford. Each of them stands next to a raffle drum and Heeley tells us they contain the names of ten PWGP wrestlers and ten MLWA wrestlers. Following the next match up the Lethal Lottery will begin. Each team in the Lethal Lottery will be made off one member of of each roster with Stradford and Fredrick taking turns pulling names from their respective drums. The five winning combinations will advance to the main event in Battle Bowl, with the winner grabbing bragging rights for their respective company. Heeley reminds us we’ll find out who the first two teams will be following the PWGP Wings of Icarus Title Match, which is next.
***
MATCH 2
PWGP Wings of Icarus Title Triple Threat Match
Robbie “Red” Baron
(Champion)
vs
Zaros
vs
Kurt Thomchuck
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
The match started off with Zaros and Thomcuck teaming up to temporarily eliminating Baron from the match, tossing him from the ring and over the announce table. They would turn their attention towards each other. They would quickly trade near falls back and forth before. Thomchuck would gain control, sending Zaros into the ringpost and locking in an armbar. He would appear moments away from winning the match when Baron came off the top rope with a double stomp on both men. Baron would make a great showing for himself against his two challengers but ultimately his own inexperience would cost him as he was speared by Zaros and hit with Life Tree Down by the goblin. It would be Thomchuck who would pick up the victory, tossing Zaros from the ring and rolling Robbie Baron up for the three count.
Winner: AND NEW PWGP Wings of Icarus Champion, Kurt Thomchuck
Thomchuck would escape to the stage with the WoI Title while his opponents picked themselves up. He would yell, “I told you so,” at the crowd before exiting to the back.

Laurie Heeley is back with Robert Fredrick and Greg Stradford. Stradford picks first from his drum first and he picks Teddy Davis. Fredrick picks next and it’s BOB. Their opponents after the next draw from of them, Paulie Rod and Philly Cheese Snake.
***
MATCH 3
Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match
Teddy Davis & BOB
vs
Paulie Rod & Philly Cheese Snake
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
Davis seemed to have a way with BOB and the two of them bonded right away. Philly and Paulie Rod on the other hand couldn’t seem to get along with one another. To give them credit they did try to keep Davis cut off on their side in the ring but Rod would tag himself in whenever Philly was in control and refused to allow his partner back in unless he was starting to get in trouble. Finally Philly had enough and abandoned Rod to the mercy of BOB and Davis. Davis would pick up the victory after BOB nearly kicked Rod’s off with a big boot and then launched Davis off the top rope with a splash on top of Paulie to pick up the three count.
Winners: and advancing to Battle Bowl, Teddy Davis and BOB.
***
We return to Laurie Heeley in the back. Robert Fredrick and Greg Stradford have already drawn the names from their drums and the next match will feature “Iron” Mack Brody and Agent D versus Kraken and Firefly.
***
MATCH 4
Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match
Mack Brody and Agent D
vs
Kraken and Firefly
(Referee: Mark Lindsey)
Not surprising at all Brody and Agent D did very well as a team, sighting their time together as part of Asper’s Army. Kraken on the other hand had little interest in teaming with Firefly and tried to fight the whole match himself. To the delight of the crowd, Kraken and Brody had no problem fighting one another and following a fist dump started throwing fists. Kraken would get the better of the exchange and would go on to dominate the next several minutes against Agent D. He appeared to be on the verge of winning the match for his team but Firefly would take the opportunity to tag himself in when the French Canadian Colossus came too close to their corner. The momentum would completely shift with this tag and Kraken could only stand on the apron and watch as his “partner” was taken apart by Brody and Agent D. Brody would finish Firefly off with a stiff lariat to win the match, while Kraken watched on with disgust.
Winners: and advancing to Battle Bowl, “Iron” Mack Brody and Agent D
Following the match Kraken would show his displease by dropping Firefly with a choke slam. When Mark Lindsey tried to intervene, he received a choke slam for his troubles as well, which actually got a pop from the crowd. Officials would quickly arrive to insure Kraken didn’t cause any more damage and escorted him to the back.
While this is going on, we see Stradford and Fredrick drawing names for the next match. Laurie Heeley announced it would be True North Ant and Asterio against Axel Moros and Agent B. When Asterio and True North Ant came out on stage with one another, Kraken was still on the stage and he attacked both men. TNA would get sent tumbling down ramp but Asterio took the brunt of Kraken’s wrath, receiving a powerbomb on top of the stage. Officials finally managed to get Kraken to the back but the damage was done and their opponents were coming out ready to take advantage of the situation.
***
MATCH 5
Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match
Asterio and True North Ant
vs
Axel Moros and Agent B
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Moros and Agent B peeled Asterio off the stage and dragged him to the ring. Agent B would send True North Ant into the ring steps, while Moros tossed Asterio into the ring and hit the Rolling Death Valley Driver to pick up the quick three count.
Winners: and advancing to Battle Bowl, Axel Moros and Agent B.
***
We return to the back, where Robert Fredrick appears annoyed. He tells Laurie Heeley that he’s disappointed that Kraken isn’t going to Battle Bowl this year, and understands his frustration, but doesn’t condol what we’ve seen here tonight and will be talking with the BUAC about the best course of action to follow, noting that Kraken will receive a week’s suspension at the very least for the attack on Mark Lindsey.
He goes back to the drums, where Greg Stradford is standing. They take turns picking names and Laurie Heeley announces the next match. It will be Alan Hunter and Jimmy Winner against Duke Womack and Big O.
***
MATCH 6
Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match
Alan Hunter and Jimmy Winner
vs
Duke Womack and Big O
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Once again the random draw has put together two combinations who seem to have little issue co-operating with one another. Neither team has ever wrestled alongside each other but they both quickly work together like as if they had been teaming for years. Womack and Big O manage to isolate Hunter for the better part of the contest and it appears Big O is out to try and injure the Bach Brothers’ number one rival. It would take a well timed distraction from Orville Newton, who decided to join Loco and Christoulos at the commentary table, that allowed Hunter to make the tag to Winner. Moments later Winner would catch Womack with the Blazin Kick to put him away and secure the victory for his team.
Winners: and advancing to Battle Bowl, Alan Hunter and Jimmy Winner.
After the match Big O tried to catch Orville but he escaped through the crowd. Vlars and Moros would come down to join him and the three would get in Eddie Tims face about Orville but Winner and Hunter chased them off with a pair of chairs to ensure the referee wasn’t hurt.
***
Robert Fredrick and Greg Stradford watched the end of the match from the match and were pleased that Hunter and Winner showed there was a chance that the two brands could co-exist. They drew the last four names and Laurie Heeley announced the last match in this year’s Lethal Lottery would be Jeremy Squire and Vlars against Faititili… and his longtime rival, MLWA Heavyweight Champion Bryant Adam Thompson!
***
MATCH 7
Lethal Lottery Tag Team Match
Jeremy Squire and Vlars
vs
Faititili and Bryant Adam Thompson
Faititili is reluctant to have anything to do with his former best friend, and with good reason considering their history with one but Thompson acts as if there’s no beef between the two of them. Things are unsteady between the former tag team partners at first but as the match progresses they seem to get on the same page. Try as they might Vlars and Squire can’t seem to find a way to find similar chemistry and moments later Squire falls victim to a flying splash from Faititili. It’s then that the Notorious B.A.T.’s true colours come out and he tossed Faititili over the top rope so he can steal the victory for himself.
Winners: and advancing to Battle Bowl, Faititili and Bryant Adam Thompson.
***
In the backstage area we see Robert Fredrick speaking with some PWGP officials, giving them instructions to go find Jimmy Jive and James Daniels to tell them their “I Respect You” Match has to be postponed due to time constraints. It’s being rescheduled as the main event for next week’s episode of “CHARGE”.
Meanwhile Greg Stradford is on the phone and seems to have received some startling news. He blows it off as being nothing when Fredrick inquires what’s bothering him and acts confident MLWA will win Battle Bowl with their “Ace in the Hole”, Bryant Adam Thompson qualifying for the event. This leads to a bit of back and forth banter between the two men before they head off in opposite directions to speak seek out their rosters to hype them up for the main event.

A video package shows Sweet Daddy D cashing in his Golden Opportunity to become PWGP Television Champion. We watch highlights of his successful title defences at the same time PWGP Global Champion, the Technician is shown doing whatever it takes to keep his title. The package ends with Sweet Daddy D informing Tech that he’s cashing in his ten points for a title shot at “Glory Days: Battle Bowl II” and promises to become the new PWGP Global Champion.
***
MATCH 9
PWGP Global Title Match
The Technician
(Champion, 2nd Title Defence, w/ The Guru)
vs
Sweet Daddy D
(1 point)
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
The match opens with Tech and SDD chain wrestle back and forth and the champion shows why he calls himself the greatest technical in the world by getting the better of the exchange and leaving the Sweetner no choice but to go for the ropes to escape an armbar. The challenger would come back with a couple of stiff blows and nearly took the champion’s head off with a super kick. The challenger would frustrate Tech with a series of hip tosses and slams that would send the champion rolling out of the ring to slow down the pace.
After conferring with his Hall of Fame manager, the Guru, Tech returned to the ring and used an eye rake to take control of the match. The Guru would distract Roller long enough for Tech to unravel his wrist tape and wrap it around the challengers throat, hiding it with a grounded side headlock. The champion would do his best to hide the illegal tactic from Roller, while slowly choking the life from his opponent. Just as it appeared he would get caught, a timely distraction by the Guru would allow Tech to toss the tape from the ring, and Tech would try to go for a pin after a DDT. Sweet Daddy D would manage to get his feet on the bottom rope to break up the pin attempt. Undeterred, the champion pulled Sweet Daddy D away from the ropes and went for another cover but Sweet Daddy D managed to kick out. Tech would pull the Sweetner to his feet and tried to go for his signature finisher, the Piledriver, but Sweet Daddy D back dropped the champion out of the ring, buying himself time to recover. The Guru would help his client to his feet and Tech scrambled back into the ring, not wanting to lose his advantage. He would be met with a super kick right in the jaw and both men would collapse to the mat.
Both men would lay on the mat while Andrew Roller began the ten count on them. The Technician was the first to his feet but missed a clothesline attempt and would receive a series of chops from the challenger. Sweet Daddy D would start to build momentum and the crowd would get behind him. He caught the champion with a second super kick and went for the cover but the Guru managed to put Tech’s foot on the bottom rope while Roller wasn’t looking. Sweet Daddy D would confront the Hall of Famer about this and while everyone’s attention was on the altercation, the Technician took the opportunity to kick the point of his foot against the mat to load it up. When the challenger turned around, the champion tried to catch him with a kick but Sweet Daddy D caught his foot and hit a leg whip before transitioning into a figure four leg lock. Once again the Guru proved his worth by getting up on the apron and distracting Roller just as Tech began to tap. A frustrated Sweet Daddy D, realizing that he should be PWGP Global Champion, released the hold and grabbed the Guru by the front of his shirt. Tech would grab Roller as he tried to get to his feet, distracting the referee from seeing the Guru spray something in the Sweetner’s eyes. Blinded, Sweet Daddy D bent over to while he clutched his eyes in pain. This allowed the champion to catch him with a loaded kick. Tech would quickly follow-up with the Piledriver and covered the challenger for the pin and retain his title.
Winner: and STILL PWGP Global Champion, The Technician.
The champion and his manager would quickly leave the ring and celebrate on the stage. Meanwhile Sweet Daddy D was being attended to in the ring by trainers and was still clutching his eyes from whatever the Guru had sprayed into them. He was helped to the back by officials as we move on to the next segment.

A video package is shown from earlier today at the PWGP 2019 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. Here are some of the highlights:
-The Technician inducted his trainer and Southern wrestling legend, “Mad Dog” Lawrence Moody, who was humbled by the honor and thanked PWGP. He finished his speech cutting a promo on the other inductees and challenging them to a fight, much to the delight of the crowd.
-Brutus Smith was inducted by his manager, Tony Columbo and he kept his speech short and sweet with a single “I am Brute” and a wave to the crowd.
-To the shock of many people, Saul Asper inducted the Guru into the Hall of Fame, giving touching, if not slightly passive aggressive speech about how influential the Guru was as a manager and as a mentor. The Guru cried during his speech and indicated he wasn’t sure how much longer he had left in the industry and thanked everyone before leaving the stage.
-The tempo of the the event took as the memory of the late El Hijo del Pollo, member of the legendary Pollo family and an individual who had personally invested money into PWGP to help it grow. Eli Buchanan would come out on stage. He would admit that he never got along with the Pollo family but that he respected them. He points out that many of the PWGP roster came through Pollo family run promotion, Pollomania Lucha Libre, and the Pollos, in particular Super Pollo, had a strong influence during the first few months of the PWGP. Buchanan announces that the BUAC has contacted the Pollos and on behalf of Buck U Productions, the BUAC and PWGP, he’s proud to announce that El Hijo del Pollo and Super Pollo are the newest members of the PWGP Hall of Fame for their contributions to the company. He reads an acceptance speech sent by the Pollo family, doing his best to step around some of the more colourful language the Pollos are known for.
-The ceremony closed with Alan Hunter, Sweet Daddy D and Easy E inducting their mentor and trainer “Big Bad” Paul Carlyle. Each man told stories about how Carlyle influenced their careers. Whether it was because of the funny tales they told, or the touching anecdotes about how Carlyle helped them out during dark moments in their lives, there wasn’t a dry eye in the PWGP Exhibition Centre by the time Paul made it on stage. He thanked everyone for coming out to watch “a bunch of dust farting dinosaurs” get honoured. He went on to make a touching speech about how much pro wrestling meant to his life and thanked his daughter Jade for coming to watch “Daddy” get inducted. He thanked his three inductors, especially Easy E, who he said was like a son to him. He ended the speech by telling everyone that this wasn’t the end, but just the beginning of the next chapter in his life and promised that big things were on the horizon.

MLWA’s David Lee Sellers, still in possession of the MLWA Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title (aka the PWGP 24/7 Championship), comes down to the ring. He brags that he’s been champion ever since “Glory Road: Three Kings” and no one has dared try to take the title from him. He challenges anyone in Pollo Hall Winnipeg to come try to take it from him.
The lights in go out and the crowd cheers. When the lights come back up Tiger Mask Red is standing in the ring. Or is it really him? Something looks off about him, his skin is pale and the announcers note he’s giving off an odd odour that smells like something is rotting. Sellers tries to level him with a big boot but Tiger seems unfazed by the blow. Sellers starts nailing him with lefts and rights and knocks Tiger back into the rope, who is still doesn’t appear to be feeling any of the shot. Sellers whips Tiger into the ropes and goes for a lariat. Tiger ducks and as Sellers spins around to face him gets a face full of black mist. Blinded, Sellers is unable to defend himself against a German suplex that sends him into the corner, leaning against the bottom rope. Tiger comes charging in and hits a running knee strike to the face. As Sellers tries to recover, Tiger climbs to the top rope. Sellers starts crawling on his hands and knees, still trying to wipe at his eyes. Tiger flies off the top rope and connects with a frog splash across Sellers back and rolls him over for the cover. Eddie Tims slides into the ring and makes the three count.
New PWGP 24/7 Champion: Tiger Mask Red???
The crowd isn’t quite sure how to react to what they’ve seen. It’s clear that there’s something wrong with Tiger but they’re not sure what it is. He’s met with a mixture of cheers and boos as he holds the title above his head, while the announcers question what’s happened to him and referring to him as Eli Buchanan.
The lights in Pollo Hall Winnipeg go out again and just as quickly as he appears, Tiger Mask Red disappears again. The announcers continue to ask each other what just happened and they wonder if we’ll ever see Tiger, or the 24/7 Title, again.

A video package is shown going over the issues between PWGP and MLWA, going back to when Bryant Adam Thompson and the Agents of Pain were released from PWGP following their involvement with the Invading Army that tried to take over the company. David Lee Sellers defeating Gobber the Gooker for the 24/7 Title and taking back to MLWA is shown, as well as the invasion of PWGP undercard talent going against the wishes of Robert Fredrick to invade MLWA’s television taping to try to get the title back. We see MLWA talent retaliating by destroying PWGP equipment, preventing them from being able to go on the air with an episode of “CHARGE”. Next is shown the invasion headed up by MLWA Champion Bryant Adam Thompson that saw the MLWA locker room breaking up the Anniversary Cup Ladder Match and stealing the Cup. Robert Fredrick is shown laying out the challenge to MLWA GM Greg Stradford for the two companies to end their issues at “Glory Road: Battle Bowl II”, which brings us to tonight’s main event.
***
We go to the PWGP locker room, where BUAC Spokesman Robert Fredrick is speaking with the entire roster. He tells Hunter, BOB, Faititili, Brody and Moros it’s up to them to win Battle Bowl for their company. He reminds them that this is their house and they need to put this issue to rest once and for all. He ends by reminding them that if one of them wins they will get a PWGP Global Title shot next month and gets the whole roster to chant “PWGP!”
From there we go to the MLWA locker room and Greg Stradford is shown trying to get the rowdy MLWA roster to quiet down. He tells them that a lot depends on them winning here tonight and while he won’t give a reason, other than personal pride, he emphasises that this is a “do or die” situation for their company. He tries to continue with his speech but gets cut off by Saul Asper and MLWA Champion Bryant Adam Thompson, who make it clear that the Champ is going to win this for MLWA and he better get properly rewarded for it when it’s all over. Thompson leads the other MLWA participants out of the locker room before Stradford can say another word and he’s left with a nervous look on his face.

MAIN EVENT
MATCH 10
PWGP BATTLE BOWL 2019
PWGP vs MLWA
Teddy Davis vs BOB vs “Iron” Mack Brody vs Agent D vs Axel Moros vs Agent B vs Faititili vs Bryant Adam Thompson
The battle royal would start off with a bit on controversy as Duke Womack, David Lee Sellers and Paulie Rod attacked the PWGP participants with chairs. BOB was singled out by the trio, who, along with Thompson and the Agents of Pain, put the Green-face Goliath through the announce table. The PWGP locker room emptied out to prevent anything else from happening, and the trio of Womack, Sellers and Rod were dragged out of the arena much to the delight of the crowd.
PWGP appeared to start off the match at a disadvantage with a man already down, but once the bells rings it’s everyone for their own. Davis and Winner show little interest in helping their MLWA brethren to eliminate the PWGP participants and and it’s everyone verses Asper’s Army in the early going. The trio are battered by they managed to weather the storm long enough for the action to break down. Axel Moros goes after Alan Hunter, an individual that he and his fellow Bash Brothers have had issues with for weeks. Brody and Winner face off and start trading fist as well. This leaves Thompson and the Agents to go after Faititili and Davis. The battle goes back and forth for the next few minutes and no one seems any closer to being eliminated, when out of nowhere Hunter ducks a running charge from Axel Moros, who goes tumbling over the top rope and to the floor.
Eliminated: Axel Moros
The announcers and the live crowd are shocked by the early exit of Moros, someone who had to be considered a favourite to win Battle Bowl this year. He’s escorted to the back by several officials, in a very angry state, while the action continues.
Back in the ring the action continues. With the only other big man out of the match, the attention of Hunter, Davis, Faititli and Winner turn to eliminate Mack Brody. The wild Texan did his best to fight the four of them off, but it was his former allies, Thompson and the Agents, who came to his rescue. It looked like it would be a four-on-four battle, but Brody’s PWGP pride was too great. He tossed Agent B over the top rope without a warning and started punching and kicking everyone that came within reach. Soon Teddy Davis was next to go soaring over the top rope.
Eliminated: Agent B and Teddy Davis
Winner tried to slow Brody’s momentum with a series of kicks that would have made his mentors Julian Cutlass and Alexander Irvine proud. Brody tried to grab him by the throat but Winner went for a Triangle Choke. Brody appeared to be in trouble for a moment but Winner couldn’t get it locked on properly and Brody was able to muscle him up. Brody tried to dump Winner over the top rope but Winner refused to let go and held on for dear life as he was dangled over the top rope. Seeing their opportunity, the rest of the participants quickly got behind Brody and dumped him over the top rope, sending both him and Winner to the floor below.
Eliminated: Jimmy Winner and Mack Brody
With Brody and Winner out it’s down to Hunter and Faititili for PWGP and Thompson and Agent D for MLWA. The two sides faced off and the crowd cheered as all four men went at it. Thompson and Agent D seemed to get the advantage, raking the eyes of the PWGP competitors but Hunter and Faitiitli managed to fight back and leveled their MLWA rivals with super kicks. Hunter seemed to be on the verge of eliminating Agent when the Bash Brothers ran out. In an act of retaliation for his earlier elimination, Moros, along with Vlars, grabbed Hunter by the arms and dragged him out of the ring; costing him the opportunity to win Battle Bowl for PWGP. They would try to beat down on him but Orville Newton ran down to the ring with a chair and started hitting all the members of the Bash Brothers with it. This gave Hunter enough time to recover and he helped Newton fight off the Bash Brothers. Officials and security quickly arrived to break up the fight and all five men were escorted to the back.
Eliminated: Alan Hunter
Back in the ring things were looking bad for PWGP’s last hope, as Faititili was getting beaten down by Thompson and Agent D. They choked the Samoan warrior in the corner while Thompson insulted Faititili, putting him down and slapping him as Agent D held a boot against his throat. Thompson signaled for his partner-in-arms to hold Faititili as he climbed to the top rope. Thompson came flying off with a flying drop kick, meant for Faititili’s head, but the Samoan warrior managed to break free and Agent D took the drop kick to the chest.
A confused Thompson yelled at Agent D to get up. He was spun around by Faititili, who hit him with a series of punches that backed him into the ropes. Faititli went for another super kick but Thompson sidestepped it and raked his eyes. Thompson grabbed his former friend by the hair and tried to toss him out of the ring but Faititili reversed the momentum and sent Thompson soaring over the top rope to the floor below.
Eliminated: Bryan Adam Thompson
The PWGP crowd erupted at the elimination of the single biggest antagonist from MLWA, while Thompson sat on the floor in utter shock. He tried to protest that the elimination shouldn’t count and when security moved in to remove him from the ringside area he demanded to know who they thought they were and reminded everyone he was the MLWA Champion. This didn’t impress the security one bit and they literally carried him out, kicking and screaming, much to the delight of the crowd.
Unfortunately the crowd’s cheers soon turned to boos. Faititili was suddenly blindsided by Agent D, who had been forgotten about momentarily. Agent D grabbed the Samoan warrior by the shoulder and the back of the tights and dumped him unceremoniously over the top rope and to the floor below.
Eliminated: Faititili
The crowd sat there in shock as Agent D stood in the middle of the ring, arms high in the air. He started shouting that he was the winner and tried to get the crowd to start chanting “MLWA”. This only seemed to anger the crowd, who began to boo loudly.
A roar suddenly caught everyone’s attention and everyone turned to see BOB climbing out of the rubble of the broken announce table and rubbing the back of his head. A distressed Agent D realized much as everyone else in the arena and watching around the world that BOB had never been officially eliminated and was very much still in this match. He jumped on BOB as the Green-faced Goliath slid into the ring, but his blows were no match for the pissed off BOB, who shoved him off and climbed to his feet. BOB absorbed several blows from Agent D before grabbing him by the ears and started headbutting him as the crowd chanted his name with every strike of his massive head. He stopped after a dozen headbutts and yelled wildly. Agent D shouted back in surprise as BOB tossed him into the ropes and kicked him so hard he tumbled over them and to the floor.
Eliminated: Agent D
Winner: and BATTLE BOWL II CHAMPION, BOB!
The crowd erupted and the PWGP locker room, minus the Bash Brother who were nowhere to be seen, emptied out to celebrate with BOB in the ring. The crowd chanted “PWGP” as Robert Fredrick handed a confused BOB the Battle Bowl Cup. Tony Columbo was there to whisper calming words into BOB’s ear as Robert Fredrick and Senior Referee, Andrew Roller raised his hands in victory.
Many of the members of the MLWA locker room, including GM Greg Stradford, came out and shook hands with the PWGP wrestlers. Loco and Christoulos took this as a sign that the war between the two companies had finally came to an end. The MLWA wrestlers got the fans to start chanting “PWGP” once more and we go off the air with that chant ringing throughout Pollo Hall Winnipeg as Loco and Christoulos sign off.
That’s it. Not sure where we’re going from here, but it’s been a blast.
So in the meantime, and in between time… Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you!
