We’re welcomed to PWGP CHARGE by our announce team of El Hombre Loco Enmascado (not sure why he insists on still being called this since everyone just calls him “Loco”) and Nick Christoulos. They remind us that tonight will feature both of the MLWA titles being defended, with the Agents of Pain defending Tag Team Titles against Strange Brew and Bryant Adam Thompson defending the MLWA Title against his bitter rival, Faititili. Also, in the main event the Anniversay Cup Finals will finally be settled as Alan Hunter and Axel Moros will face off against two other competitors in tonight’s main event to deteremine the Cup winner.
This takes us to video footage filmed earlier today. Axel Moros and his fellow Bash Brothers, Vlars and Big O are attemtping to enter the PWGP Exhibition Centre. They are stopped by BUAC Spokesman Robert Fredrick and several armed police officers. Fredrick informs the trio that following the attacks on Orville Newton, Jimmy Jive and James Daniels last week, only Moros will be allowed to compete here tonight and that would appear be only because the Bash Brothers have a friend in the BUAC. After the threat of charges being laid against all three men, Vlars and Big O depart after Moros tells them he’s “got this”.
Following this video we go to the ring where Nick Christoulos is making the introductions for the first match.
MATCH 1
PWGP Anniversary Cup Qualifying Match
Teddy Davis
vs
Vod
(w/ Gertrude Quest)
(Referee: Mark Lindsey)
In the early going of the match Vod tried to dominate the battle using his superior strength to overpower the former MLWA Champion. Davis was faster though and used this to his advantage, sticking and moving and frustrating the sea monster. Eventually Vod would gain the advantage and would ground the former champion, working over the neck and shoulder of Davis in an effort to set him up for the Deep Six Piledriver. The Nightmare would make a comeback after Vod missed a splash from the second rope and and pin Vod with a super kick. The match would not end without controversy, however, as Vod’s hand clearly grabbed onto the bottom rope but Mark Lindsey couldn’t see it from his vantage point and awarded the victory to Teddy Davis
Winner: and advancing to the Anniversary Cup Final, Teddy Davis.

We quickly go to Robert Fredrick’s office where Laurie Heeley is standing by with him to get an update on the three men injured by the Bash Brothers last week. Fredrick informs us that James Daniels’ injuries were minimal and he will be cleared to compete next week, but both Orville Newton and Jimmy Jive suffered cracked ribs from the attacks against them. Newton is young and is expected to be out for a month. Jive on the other hand has a lot of wear and tear on his body after decades of competing and isn’t expected to return anytime soon. Jive is expected to be on CHARGE next week, along with James Daniels, and is slated to make a huge announcement. Fredrick won’t reveal anymore at this time and Heeley thanks him for his time.

MATCH 2
PWGP Anniversary Cup Qualifying Match
Mini Brute
(PWGP International Tag Team Champion, w/ Son of Brute & Tony Columbo)
vs
Jin Hirai
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Hirai makes his first PWGP appearance since breaking away from the influence of GRIM and finds himself with a huge opportunity. The match starts off with the pair trying to get a feel for the other’s style but quickly breaks down as it becomes clear Hirai has not completely abandoned the tactics he adopted while being aligned with the Dark Wizard. Hirai used a mixture of martial arts and blatant cheating to wear the smallest of the Brutes down. Mini Brute would finally find an opening to try to make a comeback, using a pair of belly to belly suplexes to nearly pick up the victory. This was too little, too late, however, and Hirai would put Mini away with a thrust kick to the throat followed by a Fisherman’s Buster to pick up the pinfall victory.
Winner: and advancing to the Anniversary Cup Final, Jin Hirai

We got to the back and Saul Asper is with the MLWA Champion, Bryant Adam Thompson, and the MLWA Tag Team Champions, The Agents of Pain. He tries to hype the trio up for their title matches and begs them not to let him down. Agents B and D promise to mop the mat with Strange Brew, stating they’ll win this match before heading to BATTLE Japan for its annual Tag Team Classic. Thompson tells the duo they better win or they better never come back from Japan after how they let him down last week. There’s a brief heated exchange between Thompson and the Agents before Asper pulls the Tag Team Champions away and leads them to the the ring.

MATCH 3
MLWA Tag Team Title Match
The Agents of Pain
(champions, Agent B & Agent D, w/ Saul Asper)
vs
Strange Brew
(True North Ant & Philly Cheese Snake)
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
We’re reminded at the start of the match that Strange Brew earned this title match by winning a six man tag team match along with Faititili against the Agents of Pain and Thompson. There is a lot of history between these two teams, as TNA was once a member of Asper’s Army alongside the Agents and it was only after the return of Philly that he slowly began to see the light and eventually made things right with the snake man. The Agents clearly haven’t forgotten this “betrayal” and attack the challengers before the bell even rings. Philly and TNA fight back and a brawl ensues around the ring. The challengers appear to be getting the better of the exchange and seem on the verge of a quick title win when TNA gets sent shoulder first into the ring post, leaving Philly all alone to face the wrath of both the Agents. The Agents work over Philly, concentrating their efforts on his back and neck. We’re reminded by Loco and Nick that Philly was forced to retire for two years due to injuries to both parts of his body and the Agents have no qualms about putting him back on the shelf on their way to retaining the titles.
There is a brief moment of hope for Philly, as he manages to dodge a big boot from Agent D and almost gets the tag to True North Ant, but Agent B pulls him off the apron before Philly can get to him and sends him into the ring steps. Philly would have to endure a few minutes more of damage from the champions before hitting a double DDT on the Agents and making the tag to his partner. TNA would enter and flatten both Agents before nearly getting the win following a Manitoba Stampede Slam (Oklahoma Stampede) on Agent B. Agent D would break up the pin and the champions would try to hit the Snapshot elivated DDT but on the ant man, but Philly would make the save with a flying drop kick to both men. This would lead moments later to Philly locking Agent B in a Cobra Clutch, while True North Ant locked Agent D in a Sharpshooter at the same time and the champions submitting at the same time.
Winners: and NEW MLWA Tag Team Champions, Strange Brew!
After the match, the new champions embraced and helped each other put their newly won titles around their waists. Loco and Nick put over the journey these two have went from being bitter enemies, back to being friends and finally champions as a team. Meanwhile Asper can be seen berating the Agents about their loss. The Agents shove him aside and head to the back and the last we see of them is Asper running after the pair, begging them not to leave.
***
In his office we see Robert Fredrick is pleased by what he’s just witnessed in the ring. PWGP Wings of Icarus Champion Kurt Thomchuck comes in and demands to know why he wasn’t booked to compete tonight and is angry that he wasn’t invited to compete in the Anniversary Cup, suggesting he should be in tonight’s main event because he’s a champion. Fredrick doesn’t agree and tells Thomchuck that next week he’s going to be in an eight man tag team match featuring seven other competitors from the WoI division. The champion storms out of his office and Fredrick goes back to watching his monitor.

MATCH 4
PWGP Television Title Match
Moondog Buster
(champion, 4 points)
vs
Landshark
(0 points, w/ Gertrude Quest)
(Referee: Mark Lindsey)
Buster’s unbelievable reign continues with his second defense of the Television Title, this time against “Surf ‘n Turf” member, Landshark. Quest seems to have a lot of faith in her charge and mocks Buster for being out of shape compared to the younger Landshark. He faith in him seemed warranted at first as he practically ran circles around Buster and dominated the first few minutes. Buster however proved you don’t have to faster than your opponent, just wiser. He caught Landshark with a backbreaker off an attempted crossbody block and never seemed to lose control of the match, using his limited but lethal offense to wear Landshark down. Quest would managed to swing the advantage back to her charge, distracting Buster long enough for Landshark to roll him up with both feet on the middle ropes. Lindsey would catch this and admonished him. The two would argue, allowing Buster to recover. The champion would spin Landshark around and hit a scooping powerslam to pick up the victory and retain the Television Title for the second time.
Winner: and STILL PWGP Television Champion, Moondog Buster
Buster would quickly exit the ring with the Television Title. Meanwhile an angry Gertrude Quest would confront Mark Lindsey for apparently costing her men two matches tonight. Things would get heated and Buster would come back to protect the referee from a possible attack. This all seemed like a setup however, as Zaros appeared and would catch Buster with a spear. He would then hit Life Tree Down on the champion before posing with a foot on the fallen champion and holding the Television Title over his head while Quest and Landshark applauded. They would quickly leave when Runt arrived with a folding steel chair, aiming to take their heads off. Zaros and company would regroup on the stage and the goblin would indicate he was coming for the Television Title very soon.
***
Laurie Heeley was standing by with Faititili in the back and asked him about his match for the MLWA Title match with his bitter rival, Bryant Adam Thompson. Faititili brought up how he and Thompson were once close friends but that Thompson had allowed himself to throw away everything he stood for to gain championships and glory, and turned his back on both his friends and PWGP to gain both. Tonight he planned to take away the only thing Thompson clearly cared about, the MLWA Title and put his former friend behind him once and for all.
***
MATCH 5
MLWA Title Match
Bryant Adam Thompson
(champion, w/ Saul Asper)
vs
Faititli
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
On his way down to the ring Faititili was attacked by Thompson and hit with the MLWA belt. Thompson would throw his challenger into the ring steps, not once or twice but three times. With the crowd booing, Thompson would repeatedly strike Faititili with the championship before Eddie Tims finally managed to pull him off. The champion would roll into the ring while officials came down to check on the Samoan warrior. He acted as if he had just scored on of the biggest victories in his career and yelled at Faititli, telling him he’d never be as good as he is. Even in his beaten state, Faititili couldn’t take it hearing his rival talk like this and tried to get into the ring despite the protests by officials. Thompson would hit him with the MLWA Title as he climbed up on the apron, sending him back to the floor below. Faititili, bleeding profusely from the head, tried to get to his feet but fell down again. Meanwhile Thompson continued to celebrate in the ring, holding the championship above his head.
NO CONTEST
Robert Fredrick appears on the big screen and is livid. He informs Thompson that he will not get away with this attack. The match with Faititili will happen at a future date, but it may not be for the MLWA Title because Thompson will still defend the title. Thompson demands to know who he’s facing. His face falls when Sweet Daddy D comes running out and slides into the ring, Thompson tries to attack him and the two exchange blows.
MATCH 6
MLWA Title Match
Bryant Adam Thompson
(champion, w/ Saul Asper)
Vs
Sweet Daddy D
(Referee: Eddie Tims)
Thompson clearly wasn’t ready to face anyone here tonight and quickly finds himself at the losing end of the exchange with the challenger. Sweet Daddy D gets him into the corner and begins to lay into him with a series of punches before tossing him into the center to the ring. Asper waves for someone to come out from the back and the Agents of Pain come running out. Their arrival distracts Sweet Daddy D long enough for Thompson to attack him from behind and take control of the match. He would work over the challenger, concentrating his attack on the chest, and yelled insults while he took great pleasure with his work. The momentum would shift when Sweet Daddy D countered an attempted hurricanrana into a sit down power bomb. Sweet Daddy D would fire off a series of right hands as Thompson got to his feet and catch the champion in the Dragon Sleeper Hold. The Agents would try to interfere, allowing Thompson to escape the submission and hit a roundhouse kick. The new MLWA Tag Team Champions, Strange Brew, would come running out and attacked the former champions, leading to the two teams brawling to the back. This distracted Thompson, who yelled at the Agents to come back. When he turned around he ate a super kick from Sweet Daddy D, who quickly followed up by climbing to the top rope and hitting the flying elbow drop to pick up the three count.
Winner: AND NEW MLWA Champion, Sweet Daddy D!
After the match, Sweet Daddy D celebrated with Strange Brew. Meanwhile a distraught Thompson had a temper tantrum in the ring while Asper yelled at Eddie Tims, who only gave it right back at him before departing. Asper turned to the camera and promised this wasn’t the end of this and promised the MLWA Title would be back on Thompson soon.
***
PWGP Global Champion, The Technician and his manager, The Guru, came out after the break and the champ called out BOB to come face him. BOB, who he will face for the championship next week, came charging out, with Tony Columbo right at his heels. Tony would try to calm him down but Tech would egg BOB on with insults until BOB finally shoved his manager aside and slid into the ring. Tech would attack him with the Global Title, and it became clear he was hoping to injure him before their match next week, but the title blows didn’t seem to faze BOB at all. He grabbed Tech by the mask and started headbutting him. BOB lifted the champion over his head and slammed him. He looked to go for the running splash but The Guru pulled Tech out of the ring and the two of them hightailed it to the back while BOB roared, delighting the crowd.
In the back we see Tech and The Guru run into Robert Fredrick. They try to complain that BOB is an animal and belongs in a cage, not a ring. This gives Fredrick an idea, he makes their match next week for the Global Title a cage match. This angers The Technician but before he can say anything The Guru yells out a warning and the two of them run off with BOB and Columbo right at their heels.

MAIN EVENT
MATCH 7
PWGP Anniversary Cup Match
Alan Hunter
vs
Axel Moros
vs
Jin Hirai
vs
Teddy Davis
(Referee: Andrew Roller)
BUAC Spokesman, Robert Fredrick is sitting at ringside with the Anniversary Cup. Loco and Christoulos remind us that this match was originally booked back in December but was interrupted due several members of the MLWA roster invading and stealing the trophy. We’re reminded that the True North Ant and Faititili were originally booked for this match but had to drop out when they earned the title matches which occurred earlier this evening, leading to Davis and Hirai winning qualifying matches to take their place.
While the original match for the Anniversary Cup was a ladder match this will be a traditional fatal fourway instead. At the start of the match Davis and Hunter seem to form a temporary alliance while Moros and Hirai do the same. Hunter goes after Moros and Davis matches off with Hirai, leading to all four men throwing fists. Hunter appears to be getting the better of his rival, but Moros dumps him over the top rope and goes to help Hirai beat down Davis. The two of them send Davis into the corner and squash him with an avalanche splash followed by a running knee strike. Hirai and Moros appeared to be on the same page but the Bash Brother turned on Hirai and flattened him with a clothesline. He slammed Hirai on top of Davis before posing for the crowd. As he turned around Hunter caught him with a flying crossbody block> Hunter rolled off him and caught Moros with a super kick as he got to his feet. Hunter went for the pin but Moros rolled out of the ring. Hirai would jump on Hunter from behind and locked in a nerve hold, hoping for a submission victory. Hunter appeared to be fading and Roller looked like he was about to award the victory to the Japanese wrestler, but Davis hit Hiria with a series of stiff kicks. Davis would take Hirai down with a butterfly suplex. He saw Moros getting up on the apron and knocked him back to the floor with a running drop kick. Hirai recovered and tried to catch Davis with a kick but Davis caught his foot and locked in an ankle lock. That would be broken up by Hunter with a Sling Blade. He tried to follow up but got flatten by Moros with a clothesline. All hell broke out at this point, with none of them able to retain control of the contest for long. Hunter and Moros would spill out to the floor to brawl while Davis and Hirai continued to brawl in the ring. Hirai would do for a brain buster but Davis would counter into a cross face. Surf ‘n Turf suddenly hit the ring and attacked Davis. They triple teamed him and Zaros and Vod hit their double team “Life Tree into the Sea” power bomb and block buster combination. Hunter would break free of Moros and chase the three of them off with a chair. Hirai would try to attack Hunter but would get flattened with a chair shot. Moros would come into the ring and kick the chair into Hunter’s face. Moros grabbed Hunter and hit the rolling Death Valley Driver and got the victory.
Winner of the Anniversary Cup: Axel Moros (awarded 5 points)
The crowd began to boo as Axel Moros rolled out of the ring. Despite his obvious dissatisfaction over how it went down, Robert Fredrick awarded him the Anniversary Cup and photos were taken by members of the media. Inside the ring all three of his opponents slowly recovered and the camera focused in on Alan Hunter, who was clearly upset that Moros had gotten the better of him again. The program goes off the air with Moros holding the trophy above his head and yelling that the Bash Brothers are number one.
Reminder, next program will feature the PWGP Global Champion defending against the winner of the 2019 Battle Bow, BOB. Until then, in the meantime and in between time… Good night, God bless and may the Force be with you!

Meanwhile a distraught Thompson had a temper tantrum in the ring while Asper yelled at Eddie Tims, who only gave it right back at him before departing. Asper turned to the camera and promised this wasn’t the end of this and promised the MLWA Title would be back on Thompson soon.
