MATCH 1:
PWGP Wings of Icarus Title Match: (Champion) Kurt Thomchuk vs Robbie “The Red” Baron
Thomchuk tries to end the match quickly but Baron, the man he won the title against, is more than ready for his usual tactics and hits a series of high speed offense that seems to make the champion’s head spin. Thomchuk would capitalize after hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and would begin to wear on Baron’s shoulder and neck to set him up for the Crossface Chicken Wing. Baron would battle back after reversing a power bomb attempt into a rana and would almost score the victory with a victory roll. The champion however was too much for his challenger and would finally lock in the Crossface Chicken Wing after sending Baron into the ring post. Baron would have no choice but to submit and Thomchuk would retain.
Winner: and STILL PWGP Wings of Icarus Champion, Kurt Thomchuk
-Following the match we learn that next week Thomchuk must defend against Paulie Rodd. Rod comes out to ringside to make sure the champion knows he’s coming for the title next week.
MATCH 2
“Double Trouble” Duke Womack and David Lee Sellers vs Things Uno and Dos
Neither team holds any points going into this match and both are dying to get back into championship contention. Try as they might Things Uno and Dos are little match for the pure brute power of Sellers and the technical prowess of Womack. The match remains one sided throughout the contest with Double Trouble working over Thing Dos. The Things manage to make a comeback when Dos ducks a clothesline from Sellers and tags in Uno, but the comeback for the masked pair is soon estiginushed by a spinebuster from Womack and Uno soon falls victim to a Superplex from Sellers that seals the deal for the team.

MATCH 3
(MLWA* Tag Team Champion) Philly Cheese Snake vs Capt Gill Baits
We’re reminded by the announcers that this match, as well as the one to follow, were set up last week by Strange Brew in response to the challenge made the Pimp & Shrimp Connection. If Baits and MANDINGO want to gain a shot at the MLWA* Tag Team Titles they must beat Philly and True North Ant in singles matches first. While this is being discussed Philly seems be getting the better of Baits. The captain tries his best but he simply cannot keep up with the much quicker Philly, who seems to hit Baits from all directions at once. The match comes to a bizarre end while Baits and Philly are fighting outside the ring. Baits sends Philly into the ring post and then slides under the ring and grabs Philly’s feet. When Baits crawls back out, he gets back into the ring but Philly cannot seem to get to his feet and ends up getting counted out.
Winner: by countout, Capt Gill Baits (1 point)
-After the match True North Ant comes down to the ring to help out his partner and it’s soon revealed the reason Philly Cheese Snake couldn’t stand, his feet had been tied to the ring post under the ring with fishing line. TNA tries to protest what happened but gets attacked from behind by MANDINGO, which leads into the next match.
MATCH 4
(MLWA* Tag Team Champion) True North Ant vs MANDINGO
Both Philly and Baits remain at ringside for this match up. MANDINGO continues up his previous attack on TNA inside the ring and tries to go for a quick pinfall. True North Ant manages to fight back. Try as he might, MANDINGO is no match for the power of TNA and soon finds himself on the defense and the hopes and dreams of a MLWA* Tag Team Title shot are in jeopardy. Baits gets up on the apron to distract True North Ant and tosses MANDINGO’s cane over the heads of TNA and referee Mark Lindsey. Philly pulls Baits down and attacks him, further distracting Lindsey. This allows MANDINGO to hit True North Ant with his cane and rolls him up just in time for the referee to turn around and see. Three seconds later the match is over and the Pimp & Shrimp Connection have earned themselves a title match for next week.
Winner: MANDINGO (1 point)
-MANDINGO and Baits would quickly exit the ring and celebrate on the stage while the champions recovered. Loco and Christoulos are disgusted by the antics of these two but cannot help wondering if we’re all looking at the next MLWA* Tag Team Champions.
-The advertisement for “WAPW: Day One” is shown again. This time we’re introduced to Jade, a second generation wrestler. She mocks all the other women that will take part in the tournament and promises to be the last woman standing at the end of the night, with the WAPW Title over her shoulder.
-We return to Robert Fredrick’s office, where the Technician enters and discusses his rematch for the PWGP Global Championship, and Robert Fredrick assures him BOB is not here this evening. The Guru’s health is discussed and Tech suggests that his manager might not be returning and the two have discussed him finding new representation. The Technician states he will concern himself with that and promises that he will regain the Global Title tonight.
MATCH 5
Television Title Battle Royal
Everyone not otherwise competing here tonight is in the ring. Loco and Christoulos point out how the vacant Television Title is normally won in a one night tournament but there was no room on tonight’s card to hold one and they discuss whether with the inclusion of the MLWA* titles there are now too many championships in PWGP. The match itself is dominated by all three members of the Bash Brothers (Axel Moros, Vlars and Big O), who start systematically eliminating everyone else. It comes down to the Bash Bros and “Too Sweet” Jimmy Jive, who is still furious over what the trio did to his father several weeks back. Jive is the victim of a three on one assault but capitalizes on Big O accidently knocking Vlars over the top rope to dump him out as well. Unfortunately for the second generation star, he too his dumped out of the ring, by Moros, who is the last man standing.
Winner: and NEW PWGP Television Champion, Axel Moros
-Moros celebrates his second reign as Television Champion with his fellow Bash Brothers. Meanwhile, Jive recovers on the entrance ramp and contemplates what to do next to get revenge on the trio.
-Back once again in Robert Fredrick’s office, we find former MLWA* Champion Bryant Adam Thompson enter along with his manager, Saul Asper. Thompson demands his rematch for the MLWA Title, but Robert Fredrick seems tempted to reject the idea and reminds Thompson that he attacked both MLWA Champion Sweet Daddy D and number one contender Faititli last week. He does agree to make the match next week, but declares that in three weeks time the winner will have to face off with Faititili. Thompson isn’t pleased by the idea but vows to beat both of them and prove he’s the only man worthy of being MLWA* Champion.
MATCH 6
Surf ’n Turf (Zaros, Vod and Landshark) vs The Moondogs (Buster, Runt and Nightmare)
Yep, you read that right. For one night only Teddy Davis has become Moondog Nightmare in an effort to gain some revenge on Surf ‘n Turf for costing him the chance at winning the Anniversary Cup three weeks ago. We’re also reminded that Moondog Buster, former Television Champion, has a shot at the PWGP Global Title next week against whoever is champion at the end of the night. Surf ‘n Turf attack at the bell and single out Moondog Runt. The masked trio work over the smallest of their three opponents until he’s able to scramble free and tag in Nightmare, who goes to work on all the members of Surf ‘n Turf, almost taking Gertrude Quest’s head off in the process when she tries to get involved. The distraction allows Vod to flatten Nightmare and he’s soon at the mercy of Surf ‘n Turf now. The other two Moondogs have seen enough and they both get into the ring and a six man brawl breaks out. In the midst of it all Buster somehow becomes the legal man in the match. He scoops up Landshark and hits a running power slam. Davis locks Vod in a rear naked choke while Runt hits a double stomp from the top rope. With them out of the way, Buster is free to hit a second power slam and picks up the win for his team, finally putting his team’s issues with Surf ‘n Turf behind him and giving him momentum going into next week’s Global Title match.
Winners: The Moondogs
-We get the advertisement for “WAPW: Day One” yet again. This time we’re introduced to Amber Braze, a sweet young woman from Georgia who encourages us not to take underestimate her southern bell demeanor because she’s as tough as they come and tomorrow night she promises to become the first ever WAPW Champion.
MATCH 7
PWGP International Tag Team Title Match
(Champions) The Brute Squad (Brutus Smith and Son of Brute) vs Jin Hirai and Aozora Kiyonaga
The challengers are less than pleased to see Brutus Smith is wrestling here tonight rather than Mini Brute, who they have been competing against in recent weeks, but Tony Columbo, the champions’ manager, knows very well how to use the Freebird Rule to his team’s advantage. Smith starts off for his team, but neither Hirai or Kiyonaga are willing to face him and he tags in Son of Brute. Kiyonaga locks up with him and the smaller Brute in the match proves he’s just as dangerous as the masked giant standing out on the apron and tosses the challenger across the ring. Smith is tagged in and he takes great delight leaving welts across Kiyonaga’s chest. When Hirai tries to intervene he gets a few chops of his own. Son is tagged back into the match and the Japanese duo takes the opportunity to attack his left knee and single him out for the next several minutes as they wear his injured leg over. They attempt to make him submit with a knee bar and later a single legged crab, but neither are enough to make Son submit. Finally, Son of Brute is able to kick Hirai into his corner, sending both of them to the floor. He crawls to his corner and manages to make the tag just before both Japanese wrestlers jump on him. Neither Hirai or Kiyonaga are able to stand against the wrath of the angry giant and try to make a break for it. Brute has other ideas and grabs them both by the throat and levels them with a double choke slam. The three count is academic at that point and the champions retain.
Winners: AND STILL PWGP International Tag Team Champions, The Brute Squad
-The champions celebrate in the ring, while the challengers recover on the floor. Loco and Christoulos opening question whether anyone will be able take the titles away from the Brute Squad as long as Smith is around. As if to answer that question, a camera in the backstage area show the Bash Brothers watching what’s happening in the back on a monitor and laughing to one another. Maybe there is a team tough enough to do what so many thought impossible.
-We go to the locker room, where Alan Hunter is getting ready to defend the PWGP Global Title for the first time. MLWA* Champion Sweet Daddy D comes in and the two hug. The two joke about being champions at the same time and suggest that one day they’ll have to face off to find out which of them is the true champion in PWGP. Sweet Daddy D wishes his friend the best of luck in his title defense coming up next and leaves Hunter to finish getting ready to compete.
-A video package is shown from two weeks ago when the Technician managed to successfully defend the PWGP Global Title against BOB by handcuffing the Green-faced Goliath to the cage. After the match BOB would break free and attack Tech, beating him into a bloody mess with his own loaded boot. Hunter is shown arriving in the cage to cash in his Golden Opportunity and successfully becoming PWGP Global Champion. This brings us to tonight’s main event where the Technician gets his contractual rematch.

MATCH 8
PWGP Global Title Match
(Champion) Alan Hunter vs The Technician
Before the bell rings, Tech goes out and tells the announcers that he hates cheaters like Hunter who wait for people to not be able to defend themselves so he can steal titles from them. Loco and Christoulos think that’s pretty funny because that’s exactly what the former champion did, cashing in a Golden Opportunity to pin Alan Hunter last fall to win the vacant Global Title. The match starts off slowly and both men take their time to feel each other out. Tech would try to go after Hunter’s leg but would eat a knee for his trouble and roll out of the ring. Hunter wasn’t about to let him to take a break and caught Tech off guard with a plancha. Hunter would throw Tech back in the ring and hit a series of moves that led to Tech scrambling back out of the ring. Hunter in his haste to keep the fight to his opponent, would roll out of the ring and go after him. Tech would catch him with a drop toe hold and send him face first into the ring steps. The former challenger would toss Hunter back into the ring and went for the pin, only getting two. He would begin to wear Hunter down, concentrating all his energy to set up for the Piledriver. He would go for a series of pinfalls but they were designed to make Hunter waste more energy rather than to end the match. The momentum would change when Tech made the error of going to the second rope for an elbow smash. Hunter would counter with a reverse atomic drop and follow up with a clothesline. After taking a moment to recover from the assault against him, Hunter would begin to pull out all his big offense, getting a two count after hitting a Slingblade and another following a super kick. He went to the top rope and and tried for the Swanton but Tech got his knees up in time and Hunter had all the air knocked out of him. Tech would roll him up for the pin but only got a two count. He would go for the pile driver but Hunter would counter into a backdrop. Tech would try to get to his feet but got caught with a super kick. He didn’t go down and Hunter pulled out a third super kick that finally put him down. Hunter would climb to the top rope again and this time hit the Swanton and finally picked up the three count.
Winner: AND STILL PWGP Global Champion, Alan Hunter
-Hunter celebrates in the ring while the referee, Andrew Roller helps Tech to the back. The champion’s celebration is cut short though, as Moondog Buster comes out on stage and we’re reminded that he receives his shot at the Global Title next week.
