The show returns and the scene opens outside of Frank “D.C.” Wiland’s Dynasty Wrestling School. The camera enters the building where we see students and trainers working out in and around the ring. The camera comes to focus on a young redheaded man sparring finishing up a session young blonde woman in the ring. He pats her on the shoulder and gives her a thumbs up with approval before jumping out of the ring and approaching the camera.
“Bonjour mesdames et messieurs, mon nom est Flynn Buck. Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Flynn Buck. I am one of the trainers here at Dynasty Wrestling School and this week I will be debuting for Lion’s Road Pro-Wrestling”
He chuckles a little and shakes his head, offering a smile to the camera.
“Now, I’m aware that I look pretty young to be a trainer but trust me when I say that Wiland hired me because of my wealth of experience, which I plan to bring with me this week when I make my in ring debut week.”
“Hey Flynn,” a man calls from inside the ring behind him, “you want to spar?”
Flynn turns to wave at him before winking at the camera. He jumps in the ring and motions for the man to come towards him. The man ducks under his arm and smack him on the back of his head. Flynn turns around and smiles, but we see an edge to his features. He lets his opponent come at him, the man tries to duck under his arm again but Flynn grabs him around the waist and German suplexes him in the center of the ring. The man lays there for a moment before Flynn gives him a hand to his feet and pats him on the back.
“Rule number one, mon amie. Show respect in the ring and you’ll get respect. Be disrespectful and you’ll get Thunderstruck.”
Flynn turns and winks at the camera before helping the man out of the ring.
"Thunderstuck" by AC/DC plays us out of the segment and as the screen goes black this appears:
UP NEXT FLYNN BUCK DEBUTS!

Paulie Rod climbs into the ring as "No Sleep 'til Brooklyn" slowly fades out. ACDC's "Thunderstruck" begins playing as the house lights go down, the fans chant along with "THUNDER!" each time it's said.
JAKE AARONS: Your opening contest for Mane Event is to be fought over a ten minute limit with a pinfall, submission or knockout to decide the winner! Introducing first from Montreal, Quebec! He weighs in tonight at two hundred and twenty pounds... FLYNN BUCK!
The lion's mouth roars open and Flynn Buck rushes out, running to one side of the crowd and pointing before running across to the other side and doing the same. He jogs down to the rings, hops off the ramp when he reaches ringside and does a full lap around the squared circle, fist bumping fans along the way.
JAKE AARONS: His opponent already in the ring is from Little Italy and weighs in tonight at two hundred pounds... PAULIE ROD!
He rolls into the ring and poses while referee Xavier Price checks over Paulie Rod. The bell sounds and a collar and elbow tie-up ends with Flynn Buck on the mat in a side headlock applied by Paulie Rod. The fans are clapping, rallying behind the Canadian talent as he fights back to his feet. Rod tries to tell the fans to knock it off, but Buck surprises him with a roll up!

KICKOUT!
Rod springs to his feet just as quickly as Buck does. Buck runs in for a lariat, but Paulie Rod ducks it and drops his opponent with a neckbreaker! He covers!

2-KICKOUT!
Paulie Rod rolls up to his feet, grabbing Buck up into a front facelock. He grabs the tights and snaps off a suplex, floats over for the cover!

2-KICKOUT!
We flash forward a bit and Paulie Rod is in the corner waiting for Flynn Buck to get up to his feet and when he does, Rod rushes in with a double axe handle smash (otherwise known as a Polish Hammer) but the youngster ducks it and levels Rod with a blistering knife edge chop! Rod briefly doubles over in pain, but fights right back up into a European uppercut from Buck! Buck doesn't even give Paulie Rod a chance to think about recovering as he dropkicks him down to the mat! Buck jumps on his chance with Rod down to head out to the apron and climb up top and as soon as Rod is up and facing him... TORNADO DDT! Buck doesn't go for the cover and instead stalks his prey... Paulie Rod stumbles up and Buck applies a double chickenwing... TIGER SUPLEX!
1...
Buck releases the pinning hold, and instead goes to the corner and looks to be sizing Paulie Rod up... Rod gets up on all fours and Flynn Buck makes him feel Thunderstruck as his Bomaye style running knee connects! He rolls over for the cover and it's academic!

MANDEVILLE NELSON: He calls that one Thunderstuck, and I bet Paulie Rod feels every bit of it!
BASTIAN KRULL: A fantastic showing from Flynn Buck against Paulie Rod and not only do we get a glimpse of him heading into his Qualifying Bout next week, but so does his opponent. We still have no idea who Flynn Buck will be matched up against.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: No, the open contract has yet to be signed and the spot remains open. Although I don't think Flynn Buck is too concerned about it - he seems to me the type that is confident in his abilities and welcomes a challenge in all forms.
BASTIAN KRULL: Absolutely, but it never hurts to scout an opponent out and Buck may not be able to do that. Anyway, up next is an exciting young stud from Washington State! "The Emerald City Saint" Blake Mitchell has issued an open challenge for his Quest for the Crown qualifying bout. We'll see who's stepped up after the break!

BASTIAN KRULL: Before we go to the ring, here's a clip from the "Emerald City Saint" Blake Mitchell that was uploaded to YouTube earlier this week...
The scene at the Port of Hueneme where Blake Mitchell can be seen walking along one of the many large shipping freights at the harbor. He stops nearing the end of the freight as the light from the camera reveals more of him. Mitchell is wearing jeans a shirt and a black leather jacket.
"See I left Seattle in search of a new challenge...a new home but most importantly to become a champion. I came here...to Lion's Road to be the face of the company and insert myself in the Quest for the Crown to become the first ever...KOL Champion!"
Mitchell clears his throat looking over his shoulder as if he's being followed or not suppose to be where he is.
"Who is he some of you may be asking and rightfully so. Those of you who are unfamiliar with me I am referred to as the "Emerald City Saint"...I am Blake Mitchell and I'm bound and determined to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming KOL Champion on June 11th. But as for this Thursday Night...I am extending an open challenge to ANYONE whether you're on the Lion's Road roster or not to face me in a Qualifying Match."
Mitchell rubs his hands together and gets very quiet as if he hears someone coming.
"I have made my intentions perfectly clear with management and they are aware of my open challenge and have encouraged it."
Mitchell looks over both shoulders and even around the corner of the shipping container before continuing to speak.
"Let me be clear when saying that any free agent...can step up and meet me in the ring on Thursday night. I'm not afraid to fail and a person that's not afraid of failure can be a very dangerous person. Some would say that I am the most coveted free agent but I could definitely see myself settling in on the Lion's Road should I become the KOL Champion."
"There are plenty of men and women out there who think they are deserving...who believe that they should be the Heavyweight Champion of the World but the difference between those people and the Emerald City Saint is that I am putting myself out there with an open challenge. Making myself vulnerable for anyone who wishes to accept my "invitation". Facing the unknown is something you cannot prepare for but I am a soldier ready for battle at all times."
"I have literally defended my country, I have graduated from medical school then shortly after fighting on the front line and serving as a trauma surgeon for my brothers in arms. I am as tough as they get and I know with what I've learned, experienced and how I prepare myself everyday that the Emerald City Saint...Blake Mitchell is ready to take his place atop the Lion's Road!"
Mitchell smiles then suddenly bright security lights appear all over the harbor and Blake Mitchell is seen walking out of the picture.

The video ends and the arena falls into darkness, the fans cheer in anticipation as Imagine Dragon's "Warriors" begins playing as a white spotlight shines down on the lion's mouth.
JAKE AARONS: This open challenge is a Quest for the Crown qualifying bout and is to be fought over a ten minute limit with a pinfall, submission or knockout to decide the winner! Introducing first from Seattle, Washington. He weighs in tonight at two hundred and twenty five pounds. "The Emerald City Saint" Blake Mitchell!
The lion's mouth opens up and Mitchell emerges, walking down the ramp to the ring with the spotlight following him the entire way. He climbs into the ring and removes his jacket while playing to the crowd.
JAKE AARONS: His opponent...?
Paul Stanley's "Live to Win" hits and out comes James Hickory with a microphone in hand.
JAMES HICKORY: An open challenge!? That sounds inviting. Unfortunately for you, Blake Mitchell - all I do is win. They don't call me Jimmy Winner for nothing, so I'll accept your open challenge and after I get the 1-2-3... you can call me the uncrowned KOL Champion!
Hickory drops the microphone and heads to the ring. He climbs inside and the referee calls for the bell, Hickory and Mitchell lock-up and Hickory backs him into the corner after a bit of a back and forth. A break is called for and Hickory slowly backs away before slapping Mitchell in the face to a chorus of boos! The two lock-up again, but much more aggressively this time and Hickory looks to back Mitchell into the ropes again, but Mitchell turns it around on him and backs him into the ropes. He draws his arm back as though he's going to slap him, but instead throws him out of the ring as we head to break.
Back from break, Hickory levels Mitchell with a knee lift that sends him back into the ropes. Mitchell slaps him again and turns his back... pointing to his head and begins talking about how his superior intellect allows him to win. He turns around and tells Mitchell to bring it, and let me tell you - you don't have to invite Blake Mitchell twice. He shoots in with a crisp single leg takedown and gets it, but Hickory scrambles to his feet. Mitchell charges him, knocking him back into the corner and climbs onto the second rope... raining punches down on "Mr. Winner". Hickory is finally able to shove him off, but Mitchell lands on his feet and superkicks Hickory back into the corner! The Emerald City Saint grabs Hickory in a waistlock and belly to belly suplexes him back into the middle of the ring! Mitchell gets up and goes to the legs, grabbing a leg in an arm each and turns him over for a Boston crab! Hickory cries out in pain, but uses his strength to quickly get to the ropes. Mitchell grabs him as he's getting up and delivers a nicely executed vertical suplex! Mitchell swings his hips and looks to be bringing him up for a second one, but instead scoops him up and walks over to the corner before delivering a fallaway slam! Mitchell rolls out to the apron and climbs the ropes before leaping off with a diving elbow drop! The Space Needle! He covers!

MANDEVILLE NELSON: An impressive win! He got some great height on that elbow drop too! Devastating move!
BASTIAN KRULL: Absolutely! Yikes! He's going to gain some fans just on his move alone!
Mitchell walks to the far side of the ring reaching for a microphone from the ring announcer. He his handed a microphone and walks back to the ring with the audience cheering for him.
BLAKE MITCHELL: Tonight is only the beginning. Now that I've qualified for the Quest for the Crown...I am going to win the KOL Championship!
He tosses the microphone down to the mat before raising his arm and exiting the ring by rolling under the ropes.

JAKE AARONS: It is now time for your main event of the evening! This contest is a Quest for the Crown qualifying bout and is to be fought over a ten minute time limit or time remaining with a pinfall, submission or knockout to decide the winner!
The lion's mouth roars open as Blasted Monk makes his way out.
JAKE AARONS: First from Foshan, China. He weighs in tonight at one hundred and seventy five pounds... Blasted Monk!
Monk gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, which causes him to smirk. He strolls down the ramp until he reaches the ring at which point he impressively leaps onto the top rope, and then does a full lap around the ring while running on the top rope. This gets a gigantic pop from the crowd that gets drowned out by Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" that signals the arrival of his opponent. Smoke pours out of the lion's nose and the mouth opens up as a spotlight hits. Keith Skyfire walks out, ignoring the fans boos.
JAKE AARONS: His opponent from Knoxville, Tennessee. He weighs in tonight at two hundred and fifty five pounds... Keith Skyfire!
Skyfire reaches the ring and enters, he grabs his ring jacket and opens it up before throwing both arms out. Keith quickly jerks the ring jacket back together, slowly turning moving back across the ring to his corner waiting for the match to begin.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: This is going to be an interesting contest to say the least.
BASTIAN KRULL: On one hand, there is quickness and agility of the Blasted Monk who has a mastery of Kung Fu to back him up. Whereas Keith Skyfire is a big man with some serious athletic ability. A skilled technician in there.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: A beautiful contrast of styles for our very first main event in Lion's Road!
Referee Cordell Garner calls for the bell and Skyfire lunges at Monk, who ducks and grabs him by the head and slams him into the turnbuckle! Skyfire stumbles away holding his face in pain allowing Monk to ascend the turnbuckle. Skyfire turns around and Monk soars through the air! He connects with a flying body press! He covers!
1...
...
2...
KICKOUT!
Skyfire kicks out and immediately springs up looking for a lariat, but Monk ducks that and hits the ropes... he comes back with a spinning heel kick! He covers again!
1...
...
2-KICKOUT!
Monk quickly gets to his feet and kicks Skyfire in the stomach before knocking him into the ropes with a shuffle sidekick. He grabs his wrist and tries to set him up for the ride, but Skyfire reverses and sends him in. On the rebound, Skyfire tries for a lariat again but once more Monk ducks, hits the opposite ropes and leaps... right into a front waistlock! Skyfire slams him down to the mat with a belly to belly slam! Skyfire angrily pulls him to his feet and shoots him off the ropes again and this time finally connects with the lariat! Monk nearly does a full flip before landing! Skyfire follows it up with a knee drop!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: ...and the pendulum of momentum swings into the favor of Keith Skyfire.
BASTIAN KRULL: Blasted Monk did everything right in the early moments for dealing with a man of Skyfire's size. He made Skyfire miss, kept him off balance while he was attacking and I think he got a bit too confident in his abilities and thought he could leap directly at him.
Skyfire stomps the head of Monk a few times before pulling him up off the mat. He throws Monk into the ropes again and tries for an exploder suplex, but Monk elbows his way out of it. Monk goes for a jumping wheel kick, but Skyfire ducks it and grabs him immediately in a rear waistlock and sends him to Suplex City by way of Germany. The crowd gasps as Monk lands hard and Garner pushes Skyfire away so that he can check on him. Skyfire taunts the crowd before getting the okay from the official, the big man from Tennessee grabs Monk's leg and applies an STF! Monk grunts his response to being asked if he'd like to submit and Skyfire repeatedly tells him to give it up. Monk claws his way close to the ropes, but Skyfire grabs his hair and pulls it to increase the pressure on the hold which forces referee Cordell Garner to begin his five count for Keith Skyfire to release the hold. Skyfire obliges and backs off only to pull Monk back into the center of the ring, apply a spinning toehold and begin repeatedly slapping Monk in the face!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Oh my!
BASTIAN KRULL: Nothing pretty about that, Mandy. It's disrespectful as all hell, but it's 100% legal!
Skyfire lets go of the toehold and pulls Monk up to his feet... he grabs him up in a front facelock and quickly swings him up and shows off his power as he stalls the impact of the vertical suplex. The fans count along the seconds... 15... 16... 17... 18... 19... SLAM! A vicious vertical suplex that is immediately followed up by another diving knee drop! Skyfire calls for the end and pulls Monk into position for a powerbomb! Skyfire pulls him up, but Monk hammers down some punches! With Skyfire staggered, Monk drops his weight back and delivers a hurracanrana! He rolls through for the pin!
1...
...
2...
...
3-NO!
BASTIAN KRULL: Blasted Monk swears that was three! But Cordell Garner says only two!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: One of the best referees in the business, I trust his call!
Monk kicks Skyfire in the chest several times as he's trying to get back to his feet. Skyfire pushes Monk away and gets to his feet, but Monk roars back with a dropkick to the knee! Skyfire falls to a knee, and Monk drops down and nails him with a thrust to the throat! Skyfire falls backwards, but turns over onto all fours. Monk leaps onto his back and kicks his legs out... SENTON SPLASH! The impact flattens Skyfire, but hurts Monk in the process as he rolls around on the mat in pain. After a few moments, Skyfire begins to stir and grabs the middle rope to pull himself up. Monk gets to his feet and runs up the turnbuckles... he flips off with a moonsault!
BASTIAN KRULL: Skyfire catches him! Look at this display of power!
Skyfire swings him into position for an airplane spin and rotates around a good twenty five to thirty times before dropping him onto his feet. Skyfire hoofs Monk in the gut with a toe kick and pulls him in... hoists him up for the powerbomb and then lifts him high above his head before slamming him down into the mat!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: That's the Skyfire Special! An elevated powerbomb and I think that'll be it!
1...
...
2...
...
3!
Referee Cordell Garner checks on Blasted Monk, but Keith Skyfire yells at him to raise his arm. Garner tries to, but Skyfire snatches it away and raises them anyway.
BASTIAN KRULL: An impressive win by Keith Skyfire and an equally impressive showing from Blasted Monk! He simply got out muscled by Skyfire.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Keith Skyfire now joins Blake Mitchell as two of the six confirmed for the Triangle Survival matches on June 11th in Los Angeles. Of course, the winner of both of those matches will meet in the main event to determine the first ever King of the Lions Champion!
BASTIAN KRULL: Next week, the man you saw earlier tonight - Flynn Buck will be in one of those two Qualifying Bouts as well as the lady that you're about to hear some words from. Lexxi D. Vine is standing by with her tag team partner, Holly Holbrook!

The feed cuts to the back to find two young, attractive brunettes standing side-by-side. One has big, soulful blue eyes and a benevolent smile, while the other – the one with the microphone in hand – is quite the opposite: an intense, brown-eyed, scowling bundle of disdain. It is this second woman who first addresses the camera.
Girl: 'Sup, LOSERS?! Y'all enjoying your little two-bit 'raaaaasslin' show or whatever?!
Boos immediately begin to emanate from the crowd as the young girl flashes a cocky smirk.
Girl: Well, guess what?! This no-'count company's about to go big-time! Know why?! 'Cause Lexxi D's in the house!
At this point, the second woman attempts to interject:
Girl #2: ...and Holly...
Lexxi: Shut up, Virgin Mary. And that goes for you too, losers! Shut up and recognize perfection! I'm richer than you, I'm hotter than you, I'm better than you at, like, everything... and next week I'm gonna show you what real wrestling's like. Y'all better be paying attention, 'cause when I'm done with that loser opponent they got off the street for me to beat up...
Holly: ...don't forget about our match in two we---
Lexxi: Shut UP, Virgin Mary!! Anyway, when I'm done with that loser, that belt... uh, erm... um... EUGH!
Lexxi lets out a screech of frustration, stamping her foot and throwing her microphone on the floor before rounding on her companion:
Lexxi: This is YOUR fault, Mother Thirsty-esa! You threw me off!
The second girl goes to reply, but before she can so much as open her mouth, Lexxi jabs a finger into her chest menacingly:
Lexxi: I'm done! I'M DONE!
With that, the youth storms off, leaving the second girl to flash a long-suffering grin at the camera as the feed cuts away again.
