The lights black out as a hard guitar riff hits the speakers. With each of the three soft cymbals, a spotlight appears on the stage: one green, one yellow, then one white. The second riff trains two more spotlights on the lion set, both white, before the pipes and fiddle start, heralding the appearance of Declan Black. Wearing a confident smirk, he steps out of the roaring lion's mouth. Slapping a few hands when convenient for him, he steps-saunters, really- to the ring, in a light blue silk suit and shoes that look to have cost more than the gross domestic product of Botswana, the picture of a self-assured athlete. He places his hand out for a mic, and a nearby translator readies himself to relate the message to the crowd.
DECLAN BLACK: I can't tell you how happy I am to be here in Lion's Road. Someplace where the competition is simply top-notch, where wrestling is given proper respect. Now, I could run my mouth telling you how I'm going to win the Battle Royal for a shot at Corey Cruelty and the Heritage Championship tonight-and I will, mark my words. But at the present time, there seems to be a more pressing matter at hand. Some of you know, the dirt sheets leaked it... I wasn't supposed to come here alone. I was supposed to have a very, very pretty shadow. My darling girlfriend, Miss Caitlin Flanagan, was supposed to come to Lion's Road as my manager. And we had the contracts, we had everything set... until Beach Blast rolled around. Kassie Dark got assaulted by the Douchebag Mafia, and I realized, with Caitlin there beside me... that nobody's safe on their own. I told my girlfriend, somebody I care about more than anyone...that maybe staying in my locker room was a better idea. And as much as that sad look in her eyes hurt my soul, I knew... I made the right decision. But that's not to say I'm safe, either. Everybody in the back seems to be ganging up, forming alliances. Lion's Road is no longer a safe place to be without your back watched. And nobody's going to watch your back without something in it for them. Which begs the question... who's watching Declan Black's back? Well, you see, I'm not the only one in that locker room that's world-travelled. That has won acclaim all over the globe. One other name popped right out at me, and he's somebody I had my experiences with in REDEFINE Pro Wrestling, one Mark Storm. The lights in the arena begin to dim and the audience rise to their feet, as the nostalgic melody of "Bad Guy" by Jordon Comoli begins to play through the PA speakers. Smoke begins to rise from the stage and the audience begin to applaud, as emerging from the clouded mist is the self proclaimed prince of CHAOS - Mark Storm, who stands tall at the top of the entrance ramp. A smile is plastered on his face as he marvels at the scenery, embracing all the cheers as he close his eyes and widens his arms before coming down the ramp. Standing by the edge of the ring, he lets out a triumphant roar, with the audience roaring back to him as he jumps onto the apron before he slingshots his way over the top rope. He falls to his knees in the middle of the ring, looking up at the heavens as his theme music slowly begins to fade out. Declan stores the mic in the crook of his arm, and shakes Storm’s hand, before graciously handing it off. MARK STORM: Declan, you and I we’ve known each other for quite some time haven’t we? We’ve been doing this dance for a while but this is the first time we’ve ever been inside the ring together. I’m not sure whether to be angry about that, or to be relieved because it’s no secret that inside that ring, you are force to be reckoned with. You’re a man that’s widely respected in this profession because of what you’ve done, and what you’ve achieved. And you’re a man, that I want, on my team. Everyone’s breaking off into little cliques and plotting and planning their next moves and I’m just observing. I’m sitting in the corner of that room and I’m laughing because every single one of them, they’ve all devised a plan. They’ve got their notebooks out and I’m just watchin’ them jot down all their ideas, there master plan to success here in Lion’s Road. It’s comical. You see Declan, I don’t believe in plans. The whole structure of them all working towards an end goal, and that’s it, after it’s all done, it’s done. And you’re left asking yourself, where do I go from here? I prefer, a little bit of CHAOS. With CHAOS, you’re never left dry. With CHAOS, you’re always gonna have a good time. With CHAOS, you have no limitation, no end goal that you need to reach! Do you know what I’m trying to say, Declan?Declan, by now, has grabbed a second mic, raising it to his lips as he chuckles. DECLAN BLACK: Yes, Mark, I really think I do know what you’re trying to say. But, hey, we’re in a lion’s den here, and prides... .well, they tend to move in threes. And, by sheer coincidence, a few days ago, a very promising young prospect, a man who has every tool it takes to follow in our footsteps... well, he signed here a few days ago. And I talked to that man, and I know, Mark, that you did, too.
At this, Declan looks directly into the camera held by a cameraman in the corner, getting really close. DECLAN BLACK: So...AJ Knight, we know you’re in the back taping up, gearing up for this Battle Royal. But a smart guy like you, you must have a monitor real close, so hear this vet, listen up and listen up good. This is a once in a lifetime offer, and me and Mark aren't patient men. This... is your invitation to become the final part of our little project. The third member of Project...Storm joins him for one cold word… MARK STORM: CHAOSDECLAN BLACK: See you in the ring, AJ. He mockingly blows a kiss into the camera as “Brenda Stubbert” reprises, and leaves with a smirk, Mark Storm one step behind him.
BACKSTAGE
A set of doors bust open and in walks Agent B pushing his manager, Eli Buchanan, in a wheelchair, followed close behind by Agent D. ELI BUCHANAN: I TOLD YOU I'M FINE YO--AGENT B: Uh huh, then why did we have to drag your ass out of bed. We told ya you shouldn't have partied with that moron last night. ELI BUCHANAN: What I do in my own time is none of your fuckin' business!Eli notices the camera and smacks both of the Agents of Pain, pointing towards it. He takes off his sunglasses and sneers. ELI BUCHANAN: So I guess you want to know how we feel about what happened last week, when these two men were robbed of their opportunity to win the Pride Championships by an obvious biased referee. Buchanan chuckles dryly. ELI BUCHANAN: Well tonight, these two show just how fuckin' pissed off they are.Eli attempts a smile, but winces in pain and rubs his temple. ELI BUCHANAN: Jacob, Bro, I want you and your girlfriend to pay attention tonight because it's going to be a small taste of what you two are in for next week. Good luck.He puts his sunglasses back on and motions to Agent B to take him to their locker room. The pair move out of view of the camera and Agent D stops and laughs. AGENT D: Breaking necks and cashing checks. Someone's going out on a stretcher tonight! He laughs as he walks away and the scene fades to black.

BACKSTAGE
Next we go backstage where the camera is centered on Becky Chande. The camera pans as she begins speaking to show Julian Cutlass standing alongside her. His hands are on his hips and he has a focused expression. BECKY CHANDE: Julian, it seems like Alexander Irvine and yourself as the members of Black Lion’s Road have been all over Japan these last couple of weeks. JULIAN CUTLASS: The fans over here know quality pro-wrestling when they see it. When they saw us in action, three times in one night with no one able to stop us, it seems like we’ve been everywhere. Some of that is due to our agent, Francine, but we like to get out and interact with the fans – just as long as it doesn’t interrupt training or dinner-time. But Black Lion’s Road is about cultivating the talent, the skill, and most importantly the will to bring out the best in all of us. It’s no wonder that the fans appreciate us.BECKY CHANDE: Thus far, there hasn’t been a lot of back-and-forth between Ben Chrenshaw, the inaugural Iron Champion, and yourself going into your match next week. What are your thoughts going in?Cutlass pauses for a moment and shrugs. JULIAN CUTLASS: Look, Chrenshaw’s a good fighter. It’s a shame that he’s aligned himself with Robb Daniels but we saw how that worked out last week. As the proverbial Man in Black around here, I plan not only on winning the Iron title next week, but also defending it all over Canada over the next several tours.BECKY CHANDE: Julian, thanks for taking the time.JULIAN CUTLASS: You’re welcome, Becky.Cutlass walks off the set as we go to the next segment.
RINGSIDE
Firefly and Helius are standing inside the ring as "Killing is My Business" by Megadeth hits and out of the lion's mouth emerges Eli Buchanan in a wheelchair, Agent D and Agent B flank him on either side and march on down to the ring, leaving Eli to wheel himself down the runway. CHAD GOMEZ: I've had some bad hangovers, but I don't think I've ever had one confine me to a wheelchair. MANDEVILLE NELSON: You're not as big of a drama queen as Buchanan is, either.Agent B and D get inside the ring and immediately attack their opponents, Darnell Cane calls for the bell to begin the match! D dumps Helius through the ropes and to the floor and the Agents turn their attention to Firefly, stomping the crap out of him! Cane begins his five count, ordering one man in, one man out... Agent B backs off and heads to the corner while D pulls Firefly to his feet and repeatedly kicks him in the gut! Doubled over and dazed, D grabs him by the arm and lariats him to the mat! He pulls him back up by the arm... right into a spinebuster! D gets up, smiling as he rolls Firefly out of the ring with his foot, making an automatic tag to Helius. BASTIAN KRULL: I don't think I've ever seen that before! He just rolled Firefly out of the ring, and is egging Helius on to get inside the ring and challenge him! CHAD GOMEZ: It's a lot like being asked to be a human target. Helius gets in and brings a fight to Agent D, levelling him with some strikes. With D staggered, Helius bounds off the ropes... spinning hee-NOPE! Agent D ducks it and Helius soars over top of him, D bulldogs him to the mat and pulls him up, throwing him into the AOP corner where he tags in Agent B. B climbs in and begins stomping a mudhole into Helius in the corner! When he's finished, he pulls Helius to his feet and Irish whips him into the ropes - knocking Firefly back down to the floor as he tries to climb back on the apron - B tags in D again, and B rushes up... Irish whips Helius again... DOUBLE FLAPJACK! D rolls out, making B the legal man and he rolls Helius onto his back! 1... ... 2... ... 3! CHAD GOMEZ: Damn! MANDEVILLE NELSON: Certainly an impressive win for the Agents of Pain ahead of their match next week with Hammerstein and Anna Matthews! BASTIAN KRULL: Eli Buchanan promised someone was going to leave on a stretcher much like Jason Orion did last week after they dumped him over the top rope, I think these two may have been s-- CHAD GOMEZ: You spoke too soon, Bas!Eli stands up, ordering them to do it again! Agent D and B both whip Helius into the ropes, then flapjack him down to the mat upon his return! This time though with a whole lot more force! Helius cries in pain, clutching his chest as Eli Buchanan applauds on the outside. He pulls the camera close to him... ELI BUCHANAN: Dump her, Jacob! I don't want to have to have them do it to you, but you may not leave me a choice! MANDEVILLE NELSON: And to think Hammerstein calls that trash his friend!CHAD GOMEZ: Do you want them to target you again? MANDEVILLE NELSON: Bring it! Fans, our battle royal to determine Corey Cruelty's challenger for next week's Heritage title bout is up next! So we're going to take a quick commercial break, but don't go a--HANG ON! I'm getting word from Sammy Hewitt that something's going on backstage...
BACKSTAGE
Our camera is running up to a scene in the catering area, Julian Cutlass is in a clearly heated exchange with Ben Chrenshaw though no words can be made out. Chrenshaw throws his drink on Cutlass, who responds by grabbing him in a clinch. Several staff and nearby wrestlers work to separate the two men. Chrenshaw smirks as he's dragged out of the room, Cutlass assures his restrainers that he's cool and they slowly let go of him. As soon as they do, Cutlass darts out of the room after Chrenshaw.

AS I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH "Gangster's Paradise" by Coolio begins to play throughout the arena. The lights abruptly turn off all at once as the music continues to play. Seemingly hundreds of camera flashes begin lighting up the darkened arena then suddenly the curtain is thrown back and Robb Daniels and his wife Lauren emerge from the lion's mouth... Robb wears a very serious look upon his face, walking down the center of the runway with his wife in tow. He points to the King of the Lions Championships before stopping on the apron, holding the ropes open for his wife then wiping his feet before stepping through himself. He circles the ring, removing his sunglasses and hands them off to a stage hand. He tosses the title belt across his shoulder while enjoying the negative reaction as he talks trash right back to them. He tells the camera that he's the champ before reaching for a microphone as the music ends. ROBB DANIELS: Last week Ben Chrenshaw and I were beaten out of the Pride Championship title tournament in the first round by Alexander Irvine and Julian Cutlass the man who I defeated to unify the King of the Lions Championships. I have accepted the defeat and have decided to move forward here in Lion's Road as I search for the next challenger that I can defend my championship against...Daniels holds the microphone with one hand and walks slowly back and forth before looking back at the stage.ROBB DANIELS: So tonight! Tonight...I am laying down as OPEN CHALLENGE to someone in the back who feels as if they deserve a title shot. I will be defending the King of Lion's Championship against somebody next week. The question is... who--will--it--be...?He stands back with a very serious look on his face before walking to the side of the ring facing the stage sticking his arm over the top rope and motioning for someone to come on out. "Phenomenon" by Dir en Grey kicks up over the speaker system as the fans get to their feet as they get loud for the man entering. The Lion's Head entrance tunnel roars, allowing the Japanese sensation, Kenshin Takamura, to emerge. The crowd erupts as he poses in front of the Lion's Head.MANDEVILLE NELSON: This Tokyo crowd is going nuts for TAKAMURA!Daniels steps back into the center of the ring with Lauren standing by his side. Nodding his head slowly up and down before gripping the championship title that is draped over his shoulder tighter.
The smoke begins pouring from the Lion's nostrils before The Tokyo Tiger walks confidently down the aisle with all eyes on Daniels. He stops at the ring steps looking around at the raucous crowd before walking up the ring stairs and walking along the apron and stepping into the ring. He walks by Daniels and is handed a microphone by the stage hand before turning and walking back towards the King of Lions Champion.KENSHIN TAKAMURA: You are looking for a challenger next week, and I am looking for my next challenge after tonight. Just as anyone in the back, I did not come to Lion’s Road to just be another face in the back. I came to be the best. And, tonight, can take a large leap toward that by being one-half of the inaugural Pride Champions with Matt Pulver. Now, here you are looking for someone to challenge you for your throne as King of the Lions, I accept, and look forward to putting you the test.Takamura lowers the microphone and stands there, awaiting what inevitably would be a retort from Daniels.MANDEVILLE NELSON: Daniels wanted a challenge, Kenshin Takamura is offering him just that!
BASTIAN KRULL: Not just an ordinary challenge though... Kenshin Takamura has the support of an entire nation!
CHAD GOMEZ: And he's going to disappoint an entire nation! Daniels lifts the microphone to his mouth before smirking. He laughs and backs towards the ropes facing the entrance. He sits on the middle rope and allows his wife to exit the ring. He steps through the ropes out onto the apron smiling. He lifts the microphone once more.ROBB DANIELS: See you next week!He jumps down from the apron to the floor as Daniels and his wife Lauren make their way back up the aisle as "Phenomenon" by Dir en Grey begins playing over the speaker system once more. As Takamura panders to the crowd in the ring. Daniels stands on the stage raising the King of the Lions Championship in the air before ducking behind the curtain.

We return to break to find the action has already begun in the battle royal. MANDEVILLE NELSON: Fans, as you can imagine - fighters are combustible elements and putting eleven of them inside the ring at one time is just asking for trouble. We tried to hold them off from starting until we came back from break, but they took matters into their own hands... so let's show you some of the eliminations that took place during the break...The split screen ends and we return our full focus to real time as Project CHAOS high five each other, Brody Howitzer backs into the corner and calls to Adam Adonis, who walks over and is handed a few bills from Howitzer and nods. Howitzer stands tall on the second rope, watching the action as Adonis stands guard in front of him. CHAD GOMEZ: I didn't know B-Movie actors made that kind of dough! Well, good on him! Howitzer's hired some protection! The three members of Project CHAOS stand united in an adjacent corner while Johnny Weyland, White Phoenix and Aria Price come together and calculate a plan. Emperor Ian stands in the middle and eggs everyone on! He steps up to Price, telling her a woman doesn't belong in this ring! She pops him with a right hand! He staggers back and Mark Storm delivers a blow! He stumbles about... right into a Mongolian chop from Adam Adonis! Emperor Ian goes down and both Declan Black and White Phoenix lunge after him! The two come face to face as Ian slinks away, leading to them coming to blows! This seems to ignite the ring as all hell breaks loose! The only two bodies not being thrown about are Brody Howitzer and Adam Adonis! Declan Black suffers from First Fire as White Phoenix shotgun dropkicks him across the ring! Black's momentum carries him right into Adonis, who looks down at Black on the mat... picks him up in an inverted facelock, DDTS HIM TO THE MAT! He leans down, ready to scoop him up... but Howitzer taps him on the shoulder and asks if he can go the honours. Adonis presents Black to him and Howitzer dumps him out of the ring! JAKE AARONS: Declan Black has been eliminated!Knight lunges at Howitzer, but Adonis blocks him! Knight's size advantage comes in handy though, as he knee lifts Adonis and then throws him shoulder first into what was supposed to be Howitzer, but ends up being the ring post! Emperor Ian drops a double axe handle on the back of White Phoenix, who turns around and European uppercuts him! Emperor Ian staggers away and Phoenix follows him. Mark Storm hits a gutwrench powerbomb on Aria Price and goes to attack Johnny Weyland, who clamps on a Muay Thai clinch and begins kneeing the hell out of the New York native! Storm falls to the mat after the fourth or fifth knee and Weyland drops to a knee... Storm staggers to his feet and gets waylay'd by a flying forearm! Mark Storm falls face first into the corner turnbuckles and Weyland grabs him... SPINE CHILLER! The double knee backbreaker sends Mark Storm backflipping to his feet... White Phoenix rushes up and dropkicks Storm over the top rope and to the floor! JAKE AARONS: Mark Storm has been eliminated!Emperor Ian, free of White Phoenix for the time being picks up Aria Price and tries to dump her over the top rope, but she lands on the apron and clubs Ian with a forearm several times before he can send her down to the floor. He staggers back into the ring and she rushes up the turnbuckles, he turns around as she comes off the top with a double knee drop! She rides him down to the mat and rolls to her feet! She starts a clap that the Japanese fans follow along with and when Ian gets to his feet, she runs up and a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takes Ian down to the mat! AJ Knight grabs Ian and chucks him over the top rope! JAKE AARONS: Emperor Ian has been eliminated! BASTIAN KRULL: We are down to six! Or five, if you believe that Adam Adonis is actually going to spend the rest of this bout ensuring that Brody Howitzer doesn't get eliminated. What if it comes down to those two?CHAD GOMEZ: Then Adam Adonis will be a good little hired goon and leap over that top rope and jump down to the floor, letting Brody freakin' Howitzer have his rightful place in the spotlight! BASTIAN KRULL: Have you ever seen any of his movies? CHAD GOMEZ: Sure, I watched 'em on Crackle!Price lays low in the corner for a moment as AJ Knight attacks White Phoenix, Johnny Weyland begins using some boxing strikes on Adonis - who does a fine job blocking, and popping Weyland with shots of his own! Adonis knee lifts Weyland when he's not expecting it and clasps his hands around his waist as he's doubled over, he hoists him up... POWERBOMB INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! Weyland hits hard and stumbles out... Adonis is shoved aside as Howitzer jumps on top of Weyland with a Thesz press and begins hammering down blows! Price jumps on Howitzer's back with a sleeper hold applied! He tries to shake her off, and Adonis does his best to grab her but the B-Lister's frantic movements make that impossible for him to do! White Phoenix ducks a leaping enzuigiri attempt from AJ Knight and applies a full nelson! After he settles Knight down a bit in the hold, he drops him to the mat with a full nelson facebuster! Howitzer decides he has one option left to get himself out of the hold as he's fading fast... he pops back up to his feet after Price brought him down to a knee and back pedals toward the ropes. Phoenix nails his springboard twisting European uppercut - which he calls the Psycho Crusher on Adonis, knocking him onto the ropes. His weight dropped on the ropes coincides with Price and Howitzer hitting them causing both of them to go toppling over and to the floor! JAKE AARONS: Brody Howitzer and Aria Price have been eliminated!Phoenix tries to finish the job on Adonis, but even with some help from Johnny Weyland, Adonis manages to stay in the match. Weyland drops to his knees again, and Phoenix tries to pull Adonis back up to his feet but a SUPERKICK from AJ Knight connects and Phoenix goes over the top rope and to the floor! JAKE AARONS: White Phoenix has been eliminated!AJ Knight leans over the ropes, talking some immense amounts of shit! Weyland runs up and dumps him over! JAKE AARONS: AJ Knight has been eliminated!Knight slaps the apron in frustration and then begins brawling with White Phoenix, Weyland rests against the middle rope watching as stage hands and security try to separate Knight and Phoenix, but an even bigger problem comes forth as Ben Chrenshaw climbs over the guardrail and slides into the ring, Julian Cutlass is hot on his trail and slides in behind. The two begin trading blows inside the ring as Weyland and Adonis back off into corners and watch the two men who will compete for the Iron Championship next week go at it! More security and stage hands file into the ring and try to separate these two, but Chrenshaw and Cutlass take turns tossing them over the top rope in between strikes against one another! Chrenshaw gouges Cutlass' eye and clotheslines him over the top! Robb Daniels hits the ring and pulls Chrenshaw back before he can exit the ring after Cutlass, Alexander Irvine arrives to do the same for Cutlass before he can climb back into the ring. With the assistance of security, the two are hauled off into separate directions again. CHAD GOMEZ: Can anything else happen in this battle royal!? This is wild!BASTIAN KRULL: Battleroyalception! A battle royal within a battle royal! Hopefully security can contain these two this time. MANDEVILLE NELSON: After they've broken off a good two or three times from security to fight, I wouldn't count on it! I don't think the Japanese were prepared for this!CHAD GOMEZ: Anyway, guys - let's not forget there's still action to go in the ring! BASTIAN KRULL: You're absolutely right! Adam Adonis and Johnny Weyland are the final two in this match! One of these two men have a date with Corey Cruelty and his Heritage Championship next week! Adonis smiles and Weyland circles about, the two engage in the first collar and elbow tie up of this match and jockey for position, switching places several time along the ropes. Finally, they reach the corner turnbuckles and Adonis attempts to lift Weyland's leg over the ropes, but he cracks him! Adonis stumbles back and Weyland takes him out with a flying leg lariat! He pops back up and grabs Adonis for his sit out jawbreaker, but the Last of His Kind clubs Weyland with a forearm and falls back to his knees. Weyland staggers into the corner, but comes rushing back out... RIGHT INTO A SUPERMAN PUNCH! Weyland goes down, Adonis gets up in a hurry and dumps Weyland over the top rope but Johnny Weyland lands on the apron. Adonis tries to rectify this with another superman punch, but Weyland ducks underneath and slides back into the ring. He nails a shin kick to the small of Adonis' back causing him to arch in pain and leaps up... DOUBLE KNEE BACKBREAKER! The Spine Chiller connects and Adonis lunges forward, across the middle rope. BASTIAN KRULL: He's hit Spine Chiller for the second time in this match, and looks to be on the verge of winning this thing!Weyland grabs him in an inverted facelock and begins to lift, but Adonis grabs a hold of his head and backflips over. He grabs Weyland... OLYMPIC SLAM! Weyland gets to his feet dazed and confused, even dropping to a knee at one point and that's when Adam Adonis grabs him and pulls him up for a powerbomb... he rushes toward the ropes, but Weyland in a last ditch effort - counters into a headscissors and both men crash over the top rope! Hanging precariously by the ropes, the two are kicking at each other trying to knock the other down! Both manage to regain their foot simultaneously and Adam Adonis leaps into the air for a superman punch, but Weyland executes a beautiful counter punch that connects flush and Adonis crashes down to the apron and the arena floor leaving Johnny Weyland as the last person standing! The fans cheer on his effort as he nonchalantly raises his arms on the apron and climbs back into the ring. JAKE AARONS: Adam Adonis has been eliminated! Therefore your winner of the battle royal... JOHNNY WEYLAND!Xavier Price raises Weyland's arm in victory as a match card of Corey Cruelty and himself pops on the Pollovision declaring the two will face off next week. Weyland smiles, then motions around his waist. MANDEVILLE NELSON: A confident fighter, Johnny Weyland - motioning that he will become the fifth Heritage Champion.CHAD GOMEZ: Even if he does, he may only have a reign as long as the others because I know for damn sure that Adam Adonis will be chomping at the bit for his revenge after tonight. BASTIAN KRULL: Not taking anything away from Weyland, Adonis showed some great tenacity here tonight and it was a well placed punch - and sometimes that's all it takes - that stopped Adonis dead in his tracks and gave Weyland the victory here tonight.

JAKE AARONS: Ladies and gentlemen, your main event contest is for the Pride Championship! This match has a thirty minute time limit with one fall, one submission or one knockout to determine the winners. MANDEVILLE NELSON: You heard Jake Aarons correctly, folks - this match will not be contested under television time remaining! We have booked the extra air time and will stick with the full thirty minutes if we need to!
CHAD GOMEZ: What if goes the distance again?
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Then we'll have to show you the conclusion of the match on our next broadcast.
BASTIAN KRULL: I'm ready for this one, there's a big fight feel in the air and two of Lion's Road's best tag teams are chomping at the bit to become the Pride Champions. Let's go back to Jake Aarons.
JAKE AARONS: Introducing team number one... at a combined weight of four hundred, thirty four pounds... ALEXANDER IRVINE! JULIAN CUTLASS! THEY ARE BLACK LION'S ROAD!
As “Break on Through” by the Adrenaline Mob hits the speakers as Julian Cutlass and Alexander Irvine emerge to the roar of the lion and the roar of the crowd. Both stalk down the aisles clad in their respective robes as eager fans grasp for them. One particularly striking sign tells us #BLACKLIONSMATTER. The two men tolerate the fans but pay close attention to the ring and climb inside. They hand their robes off to the attendants, exchange a fist-bump, and stretch in preparation for the match.
JAKE AARONS: Introducing team number two... at a combined weight of four hundred, four pounds... MATT PULVER! KENSHIN TAKAMURA! THEY ARE THE STREAK!
"Phenomenon" by Dir en Grey kicks up over the speaker system as the fans pop loudly for the hometown hero! The lion's head roars open, allowing Kenshin Takamura and Matt Pulver to emerge. They raise their arms in the air as smoke begins pouring from the lion's nostrils before Takamura extends his hand to Pulver, Pulver looks at him and slaps it dismissively before sprinting down to the ring. Takamura follows suit and they both leap over the top rope and take separate corners, playing to the crowd.
JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Cordell Garner!
Garner goes over the rules with both teams, concluding with them being asked to shake hands if they so desire. All four men fist bump before going back to their respective corners to figure out who is starting the match. The crowd roars as both Matt Pulver and Julian Cutlass exit to the apron, leaving the Tokyo Tiger and the Wolf. Kenshin Takamura and Alexander Irvine engage in a collar and elbow tie up that ends with a clean break after Takamura backs Irvine into the ropes. The two come back out to the middle of the ring and begin again, but this time Takamura pulls a side headlock, but is quickly shot off the ropes by Irvine... a big shoulder block is what follows and Irvine goes down to the mat in a hurry. Takamura stands tall as the Japanese crowd quickly applauds and quiets down as Alexander Irvine, the Wolf, climbs back to his feet. Takamura greets him on the vertical base with a stiff chop, while the Unnatural responds in kind with a forearm. Chop, forearm, chop, forearm, chop, forearm... forearm! Irvine cracks Takamura with a forearm, staggering him... the Tokyo Tiger is backed into the ropes and whipped to the opposite side... Irvine tries for a lariat, but Takamura ducks. Both men keep running, Takamura hits the ropes and tries for a dropkick but Irvine hangs on to the ropes and Kenshin falls to the mat. Irvine rushes in... SHINING WIZARD! The crowd pops as Takamura goes down but is suddenly consumed by the fighting spirit, popping back up... SLING BLADE! Both men are down!
BASTIAN KRULL: Some incredible will power on display from Kenshin Takamura - he took that Shining Wizard full force and was able to shake off the effects long enough for him to get up and nail the Sling Blade, ensuring Alexander Irvine couldn't make a tag while he was in a vulnerable position.
Irvine rolls out to the apron, then drops to the floor. Takamura gets up to his feet, sees where Irvine went and is about to go out to the floor after him whe he gets waylayed by a Julian Cutlass running elbow! As Lion's Road rules dictate - an automatic tag is made when the legal man touches the floor. Takamura goes down and rolls out of the ring, bringing said rule into effect again as Matt Pulver hops into the ring to a variety of "PULVER" calls from the Japanese fans. CHAD GOMEZ: Just when you thought you were out, something pulls you back in!
BASTIAN KRULL: And Pulver drops down to the mat, pulling Cutlass down with him. He's got that hold on t-- Irvine in to break it up!

Pulver climbs onto the middle rope, gathers some momentum by jumping up and down on it... then DOUBLE STOMPS the back of Alexander Irvine while he's draped on the ropes. Pulver pulls him back into the ring and tries to lock on a guillotine choke, but Irvine backs him into the corner. He presents both to Pulver, who sits up and admires the belts for a long moment... then climbs to his feet, ignoring all his pain and leaps onto the second rope, hoisting the titles in the air! He leaps down and sees Kenshin Takamura standing across from him. The two share a long tense stare down between each other before hugging, Takamura grabs his belt and raises Pulver's arm! The duo bow to the Japanese crowd, but are quickly spun around by Irvine and Cutlass as another tense moment takes place. Irvine and Cutlass both slowly extend their hands, and the Streak happily shake hands with Black Lion's Road. The two BLR men bow out, leaving the ring obviously dejected at losing.
BASTIAN KRULL: Black Lion's Road are disappointed, but they have reason to hold their heads high... they gave a fantastic effort. These two teams are amazing! I for one would love to see them lock up again soon.
CHAD GOMEZ: Absolutely, this match was a battle!
MANDEVILLE NELSON: No cheating, no underhanded tactics. Just four men vying for the richest prize in our sport - championship gold. They gave it their all, and that's a fact that neither one of these four men will soon forget, I'm sure.
Kenshin Takamura hugs what appears to be some of his family in the crowd before jumping the guardrail to soak in the moment with the Japanese fans. Matt Pulver stands smiling ear to ear on the ring apron, holding his belt high as the show comes to a close.
