The Lion's Road intro ends and we open to Mandeville Nelson standing at the broadcast booth with Bastian Krull and Chad Gomez.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Greetings! I am Mandeville Nelson alongside the best broadcast team in professional wrestling, Bastian Krull and Chad Gomez! We're in the Windy City! Chicago, Illinois! And guys, tonight's main event is a rematch from nearly two months ago... but a lot and I mean A LOT has transpired since then.
BASTIAN KRULL: Absolutely, partner! Matt Pulver pinned Alexander Irvine in that last match and that was the catalyst for their heated rivalry, Irvine has been an absolute thorn in Pulver's side, doing his best to try and drive a wedge between the already rocky partnership between Matt Pulver and Kenshin Takamura. To their credit though, it seems the Streak is finally on the same page.
CHAD GOMEZ: They'd better be because Black Lion's Road is an odd couple that works. We saw them beat the crap out of each other a month ago, then Cutlass wins the title? They were out here last week and looked great against the Ninjas. So, the Streak better have it together or that title reign ends tonight.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: Let's send it to the ring!

JAKE AARONS: This bout is to be fought to one fall with a ten minute time limit! Already in the ring from Seattle, Washington! He weighs in at two hundred and twenty five pounds... BLAKE MITCHELL!Mitchell raises his arms before the lights fade as Muse's "Space Dementia" begins to play. Shortly after the intro, a shadow emerges from the lion's mouth and then the lights come on to reveal Kris Slade as he slowly walks down the aisle and to the ring. He avoids all eye contact, staying fixated on the ring. JAKE AARONS: His opponent from... CHICAGO, ILLINOIS!Big pop. JAKE AARONS: He weighs in at two hundred and thirty five pounds... KRIS SLADE!He leaps onto the apron then falls to his knees, letting out a scream before jumping into the ring. He bounces off the ropes as he yells at the crowd before tossing his sweatshirt out of the ring. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Robbie Morris!Referee Robbie Morris signals for the bell and Kris Slade rushes Blake Mitchell! A kick to the gut doubles him over and Slade pushes him into the corner, Slade drives his forearm into the Emerald City Saint's face and begins rubbing it back and forth! Referee Morris is able to step between them, but Slade goes right back to the attack and back elbows Mitchell in the head! Slade grabs Mitchell by the wrist and yanks him out of the corner into the Skull Cracker! The jumping knee sends Mitchell down to the mat, but Slade keeps on top of him and yanks him back up to his feet! Mitchell is all kinds of dazed and confused, Slade headbutts him back into the corner and then peppers him with several closed fist punches - completely legal here in LR - before spinning around and clobbering him with a rolling elbow! CHAD GOMEZ: If Blake Mitchell wasn't back in Seattle after that knee, he's probably up on the Space Needle now!Slade props him up as he teeters out of the corner, hoists him up and over his shoulders into a Gory Special and then turns back toward the middle of the ring... CRADLE DRIVER! The crowd gasps as Slade hits the move effortlessly. He rolls Mitchell over and covers. 1... ... 2... ... 3! BASTIAN KRULL: That's the Diamond Darrell Special. A Gory Special into a Cradle Driver and as you just saw it, it is a brutal move. You go from being in an uncomfortable submission to being planted right on top of your head! A three count is all you need, but you could probably count to a hundred!Slade gets up and gets in the camera, shouting "THIS IS MY KINGDOM" repeatedly before he marches back toward Blake Mitchell. Referee Robbie Morris gets in his way and some security rushes the ring to aid him, they manage to talk Slade out of whatever he was planning and he exits the ring. He heads up to the broadcast booth. KRIS SLADE: This king needs a crown!Slade throws the microphone back down on the desk and makes his exit. CHAD GOMEZ: It was one win!Gomez looks at Krull and Nelson expecting to be argued on the matter but both of them shrug as we go to commercial.

Backstage, Becky Chande has corralled James Edwards for an interview moments before his match just outside the stage entrance to the famed Lion’s Mouth. Becky flashes her pearly whites at the camera while James glowers at the camera. BECKY CHANDE: I’m backstage with one of the men about to do battle here tonight on the Iron Road, James Edwards! James, you were victorious last week in your debut, do you feel that gives you any edge this week?Edwards shakes his head. JAMES EDWARDS: Nah. BECKY CHANDE: Not much for small talk again this week?Again, Edwards shakes his head. BECKY CHANDE: So do you care if I go ahead and get to the heavy duty stuff? JAMES EDWARDS: Sure, shoot.BECKY CHANDE: Johnny Ajax suffered from concussion-like symptoms after you kicked him in the head with the Violent Gospel. As a result LR officials had no choice but to pull him from the rest of the tournament, what are your thoughts on the situation?Edwards stiffens up. JAMES EDWARDS: I think I covered that pretty well in my video leadin’ up to this fight.Chande isn’t going to let him slide on the question, however. BECKY CHANDE: Please elaborate for fans who haven’t had the choice to view your previous comments yet. JAMES EDWARDS: All I said was that I wish it hadn’t happened. I didn’t want to hurt the guy.BECKY CHANDE: Chatter on social media doubts the sincerity of that statement, though. Some fans believe that you displayed little caring for Mr. Ajax’s well-being or for that of your opponent this week, Daniel Hawkins. Care to comment?Edwards bristles at the mention and is clearly agitated. JAMES EDWARDS: I meant what I said. What do those people want to do, go to the hospital, hold the guy’s hand, and then plaster it all over Twitter? I don’t operate that way. Dozens of people have taken the Violent Gospel to the head and haven’t gotten hurt. It was bound to happen at some point. I knew that and the audience should too. This is a combat sport, emphasis on the word combat, we do some brutal things to each other in the ring, it is an occupational hazard.BECKY CHANDE: So don’t plan on retiring the move or altering the way you deliver it?JAMES EDWARDS: Hell no, the old girl has won me too many fights. I ain’t taking her out back and shootin’ her in the head just because she bit too hard once. BECKY CHANDE: Are you aware that rumors are swirling that the Lion’s Road officials are investigating banning the move in response to public outcry?Edwards looks genuinely shocked at the revelation. JAMES EDWARDS: You gotta be shittin’ me, Becky?BECKY CHANDE: It's just a rumor.Edwards briefly stomps out the picture, and in the background, a rather loud curse is heard before he appears again on the screen. JAMES EDWARDS: Listen, I’ve got a fight to get ready for so I don’t have any more time to talk.BECKY CHANDE: Fair enough. Well, ladies and gentlemen, that was James Edwards. Stay up to date with the story by following @lionsroadonline on Twitter or logging on to our website. Back to you guys in the booth.
Jake Aarons puts the microphone to his lips, but "Until the End" by Breaking Benjamin interrupts him. The fans turn their attention to the lion's mouth as it roars open and AJ Knight walks out with a big bucket of popcorn and way too large soda. He walks over to the broadcast table and Mandeville Nelson hands him a microphone, Knight puts his soda down on the table and accepts it. CHAD GOMEZ: C'mon! Use a coaster! AJ KNIGHT: Hey everyone! I bet you're wondering what is I'm doing out here, I haven't got a match here tonight after all...Knight pauses and invites the camera closer. AJ KNIGHT: OR DO I!?
A "DUN DUN DUN" is heard, drawing a few chuckles from the crowd. AJ KNIGHT: Sadly, because of Johnny Ajax's injury, I do not. Johnny, if you're watching this, man, then get well soon! I'd love to have that match! Honestly, I'm out here to scout my opponent for next week... James Edwards! A win from him tonight makes him the last man standing between me and the Iron Championship. If any of you need me, I'll be down at ringside with my refreshments! Maestro! Take it away! Knight hands his microphone back to Nelson and grabs his soda, he walks down to ringside and a stage hand puts a chair out for him. Knight thanks him and takes a seat as Daniel Hawkins begins making his way out as we head to commercial.
WE CONTINUE ON THE IRON ROAD WHEN WE RETURN JAMES EDWARDS vs. DANIEL HAWKINS

JAKE AARONS: This bout is one fall to a finish with a ten minute time limit in the Iron Road tournament! Introducing first from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Weighing in at two hundred and fifteen pounds - Daniel Hawkins!Hawkins raises his arms before "Once More Round the Sun" by Mastadon hits and James Edwards breaks through the curtain after the opening beats of the song and power walks down the aisle. JAKE AARONS: His opponent from Lexington, Kentucky! He weighs in at two hundred and four pounds... JAMES EDWARDS!He takes a lap around the ring, slides under the ropes, and does four quick martial arts bows before settling into his appointed corner. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Xavier Price! Both men meet in the centre of the ring and shake hands, quickly backing to their corners for referee Xavier Price to signal for the bell. The match begins in a hurry as Edwards forgoes the usual collar and elbow start to our matches to chase Hawkins down into a corner with strikes, Hawkins to his credit is firing back and trying to grab a clinch. Edwards grabs a waist lock and suplexes Hawkins across the ring! The fans go nuts for it as he was in the middle of being forearmed by Hawkins when he pulled it off! Edwards floats over and tries to isolate the arm, but Hawkins rolls his hips and gets Edwards moving too. Edwards is on all fours and Hawkins uses the fact that Edwards already has his arm to try and advance into a rear waistlock, but Burning Heart gets up and quickly goes behind Hawkins... GERMAN SUPLEX! Price quickly checks Hawkins, but he signals he's good and begins getting to his feet. Edwards goes in for the kill, looking for a slap but Hawkins ducks it... but I bet you he wishes he hadn't! Edwards comes back with a backfist! And a second! And a third! More than a Double Tap! Hawkins is spun around by the strikes... SLEEPER! Edwards drags him back into the centre of the ring... SAKA OTOSHI! The inverted headlock takeover lands Hawkins in some hot water and deep trouble, Edwards sinks the choke in deeper and Hawkins taps out! BASTIAN KRULL: Wow! CHAD GOMEZ: Look at AJ Knight!Knight puts down his soda and popcorn and applauds, Edwards looks out at him not really sure what to make of the whole show as he's getting his arm raised by Xavier Price. Price goes to check on Hawkins, but tells the stage hands to do it when AJ Knight slides into the ring. He keeps between the two men, but Knight insists he's only there to shake Edwards' hand and extends it. Edwards slowly accepts it, the two have a firm shake and stare each other down. BASTIAN KRULL: That picture in the ring says it all, fans - Edwards vs. Knight next week in Kenosha! Both men are tied at four points apiece and a victory over the other puts them in that Iron Championship match on November 10th in Green Bay. Knight makes his exit, watching Edwards as he backs up the aisle - Edwards too keeps his eyes fixated on his next opponent as we fade out to commercial.

The scene goes to Becky Chande standing in front of a Lion’s Road backdrop, mic in hand.
BECKY CHANDE: I’m standing here backstage at the arena here in Chicago, Illinois, and I’m joined by none other than one half of the Pride Champions – Matt Pulver.
The camera pans out to reveal Matt Pulver, dressed in his wrestling attire and his Pride Championship slung over his right shoulder. He rolls his wrists, looking quite focused, as Becky continues.
BECKY CHANDE: Tonight, you and Kenshin Takamura will defend your championships against Black Lion’s Road; Alexander Irvine and the King of Lions Champion Julian Cutlass. What are your thoughts going into this match?
MATT PULVER: Well, we have faced Black Lion’s Road before, and while it wasn’t easy, we did beat them. They are two of the toughest men I’ve ever met, and probably the toughest men in the entire world. But I’m ready for them. We are ready for them.
I have a shot at the King of Lions title in a couple of weeks and I’ve been training the hardest I’ve ever have been in my entire life. And when I haven’t been training, I’ve been watching Cutlass matches. At this point, I probably know more about him than he does himself!
But this match isn’t about that. It’s about these Pride Championships” he smirks a bit as he pats the belt. “As much as I want to prove myself and carve out a legacy for myself as the top guy here in Lion’s Road by being King of Lions, I have to focus on the now. Because to truly be a top guy, the top guy, you have to go out there and prove yourself every night. Every match. And that’s what I’ve been trying to do all this time. That’s what The Streak is all about! Because as much as I don’t want to compare myself to Alexander Irvine – The Streak is not that different from Black Lion’s Road. We all have one thing in common; we want to be the best and we want to face the best.
And that’s what the Pride Championships are all about! These may just look like regular old gold plated leather straps, but they represent so much more. They represent that fire inside of us! That fire that makes Kenshin and I, no matter how much trouble we face, put our differences aside and persevere.
So my thoughts going into this match are no different than going into any other match; to leave that ring with this championship still firmly placed around my waist.
BECKY CHANDE: You can’t argue that there’s history to back up your confidence. But there are some that would argue that Alexander Irvine has gotten inside of your head lately. Just two weeks ago we sa-…
Matt grabs the mic, interrupting Becky Chande, and pulls it to his face, which is donned by a very serious expression.
MATT PULVER: I'm sick of people talking about this, so let me just set things straight once and for all. Alex, your little attempts of getting my head just show how petty you are. You can come out here and talk all this… crap about me. Trying to act all macho and try to find some sort weak spot. But what you want me, and all these people to forget… and what you probably want to forget yourself, is that I got inside of your head by beating you fair and square in a wrestling match! So do me, yourself and everyone else a favor and take all that shit you're talking to a mirror, you fu-…
Matt stops himself short, and takes a moment to breathe collect himself, before looking back at the camera with forced smirk.
MATT PULVER: Just watch, Alex. Just watch me beat you once again.
With that he walks off, leaving a somewhat bewildered Becky Chande alone with the camera.
BECKY CHANDE: Well, there you have it. Back to you, guys.

Chuck Cooper paces back and forth in the ring. JAKE AARONS: This bout is one fall to a finish with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first from Nashville, Tennessee! Weighing in at two hundred and twenty seven pounds... CHUCK COOPER!"Panic" by the Smiths hits and Ben Chrenshaw emerges from the lion's mouth with his Iron title draped over his shoulder. He smirks before removing his glasses, plopping them on the broadcast table and nodding to the commentators. The Crippler heads down to the ring. JAKE AARONS: His opponent from London, England! He weighs in at two hundred and thirteen pounds! BEN CHRENSHAW!Chrenshaw slides into the ring. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Buster Powell! The bell sounds and the two men lock-up, Chrenshaw squats down to gain some leverage over the slightly larger man and manages to back him into the ropes. Powell calls for the break and Chrenshaw breaks clean and invites Cooper back into the centre to lock-up again. They do and the Crippler grabs an arm out of it, wringing it out briefly before Cooper flips forward and reverses it into one of his own! Chrenshaw writhes in pain before rolling forward, trying to emulate Cooper to get out of the hold but the veteran of the Southland still has the hold applied when Chrenshaw gets to his feet. Chrenshaw goes back to the drawing board and doubles over, using his shoulder to push Cooper upwards and then hip toss him to the mat! He covers Cooper! 1... ... 2... KICK OUT! Cooper gets back up and goes for a tie-up, Chrenshaw does a go behind and takes Cooper's legs out from underneath him. He makes like he's going to hop up and apply a grounded side headlock which leaves Cooper vulnerable for Chrenshaw grabbing his leg and locking him in the Wrinkle in Time! The single leg crab is dead centre of the ring and Cooper quickly submits! Chrenshaw holds it for a few seconds more and then drops it, smirking as he's handed his title back and exits the ring. He walks up the aisle, grabs his sunglasses and heads to the back. Another day at the office for Mr. Chrenshaw.
The camera goes back to Mandeville Nelson, who is off-center on the camera so the video screen can be shown to the viewing audience. MANDEVILLE NELSON: Fans, at this time we'd like to reveal the brand new rules for the Iron Championship. The video screen pops on with several bullet points.
- Victory can be obtained by Pinfalls, Submissions, Knockouts and Points Decision - You start with 15 points and 1 point is deducted for rope breaks, downs and exiting the ring. - 4 points are deducted for committing a yellow card foul. - No time limit draws. The person with the most amount of points remaining is the winner. - There is a 10 count on the floor rather than the standard 20. This coupled with losing points for exiting the ring encourages the action to stay inside the ring. - Iron Rules can also be applied to tag matches. The points are increased to 25 per team and in addition, a point is deducted for each tag and save you make. - If a partner earns a red card during a match, they will be eliminated and their partner will be forced to fight in a shorthanded situation.
MANDEVILLE NELSON: There are rumours that this rule set could get applied to all matches here in Lion's Road, but such a change likely wouldn't happen until the new year. The first match to feature this new rule set? That's tonight's main event! Don't miss it!
Ben Chrenshaw is backstage, walking with a purpose and has already changed back into his suit and donned his aviator sunglasses. He rounds the corner and comes face to face with... HAMMERSTEIN: Crenny! Good luck in our match!Hammerstein smiles and extends his hand toward the Iron Champion, but while the champ looks down - he does nothing to acknowledge the hand hanging in the air. HAMMERSTEIN: It's going to be an ho--BEN CHRENSHAW: Put your hand down. The icy tone of the Crippler is followed by a movement as he steps closer to Hammer, who keeps his hand up. HAMMERSTEIN: But I jus--BEN CHRENSHAW: Put it down.Chrenshaw snarls his words and grabs Hammerstein's wrist, causing him to flinch slightly and ducks. Chrenshaw flips over him and lands hard on the floor, Hammerstein backs away as Chrenshaw staggers back up to his feet. The Crippler snaps his head toward Hammerstein, who is backpedalling quickly and runs into a door. Hammerstein looks on in horror as the Iron Champion pounces toward him... a stage hand opens the door and Hammerstein falls on his ass, Chrenshaw soars past his challenger and lands on a chair. Hammerstein scurries to his feet and rushes up to Chrenshaw and the stage hand who is checking him over. HAMMERSTEIN: Ben, bro!? You OK!?Chrenshaw begins to stir, mumbling something as the stage hand motions to Hammerstein to go. Hammer nods and realizes that now would be the perfect time to exit.

Backstage Becky Chande is waiting patiently in the parking lot as a stretch limo pulls up and out steps Robb Daniels from the vehicle. He closes the door with a very blank look on his face. Becky approaches him quickly with her microphone in hand.
BECKY CHANDE: Ladies and Gentlemen I have been joined by the former King of Lion’s Champion Robb Daniels.
ROBB DANIELS: Hello Becky. It’s been a bit hasn’t it?
BECKY CHANDE: I was getting ready to ask you how have you been?
ROBB DANIELS: Let’s say I have been better.
BECKY CHANDE: You have been off the map since Wild Hunt and your return has been highly anticipated.
ROBB DANIELS: Wild Hunt… since that night I have been at home… soul searching you could say. My phone has been ringing off the hook with promoters furious that I’ve cancelled all of my bookings. Many of them wanting an explanation for where I’ve been and why I couldn’t fulfill my dates. I know that I have disappointed a lot of people those who are my longtime supporters and those who just love to see Robb Daniels get his ass kicked. Regardless Becky I stand before you a humbled man. I am the fallen champion and I have been at home for the last three weeks doing absolutely nothing about it.
BECKY CHANDE: So what did you do on those three weeks?
ROBB DANIELS: I’ve spent my time reflecting. Thinking about my reign as the King of Lions. See in the beginning…I was proud and honored to represent Lion’s Road as its Champion. As time went on I bought into my own hype and lost focus. I escaped Tokyo Roar with the title but I couldn’t extend the portrayal of a real champion any longer. Throughout my career I have climbed the ladder, took the brass ring and dropped it from time to time. This time was no different. I disrespected the KOL Championship, the men and women who challenged for it, the fans in attendance and those watching from home all over the world.
BECKY CHANDE: You appear to be remorseful for your actions. Were you surprised that Julian Cutlass was the man to beat you for the title?
ROBB DANIELS: Honestly I wasn’t shocked at all. I have been in a really dark place in my life as of late and as I laid there on the mat after the three count made by the referee there was a sense of relief knowing that it was all over…with the weight being lifted from my shoulders. Then later that night when staring out the window of the place it hit me. Even later that night when I laid in bed thinking about laying on that mat as Julian Cutlass celebrated with the title I had carried for over a hundred days. I grieved over losing the King of Lion’s Championship…
BECKY CHANDE: So why are you here? Are you ready to return to the ring?
ROBB DANIELS: A wise man who I have learned a lot from in this business told me that I didn’t need a championship any longer to be the top guy. He also told me that I need to step aside and allow the young, talented and hungry wrestlers fight over it. Perhaps he was right. Maybe my time has come and gone in the business. I retired once and came back to compete here in Lion’s Road. Since then I said I retired once and I’ll never do it again. I’m not sure where Robb Daniels goes from here… as for tonight I’m here to either restructure my contract or ask for my release…
Daniels smiles and shrugs his shoulders at Chande before turning his back and walking out of the picture.
BECKY CHANDE: We'll be right back!

JAKE AARONS: This bout is one fall to a finish with a ten minute time limit! Introducing first from Urtecht in the Netherlands! He weighs in at two hundred and two pounds... JAN VAN DER ROOST!"Rooster" by Alice in Chains hits, a single orange spotlight fades in over the lion's mouth as Jan van der Roost slowly walks out with a pair of oranges gloves and a towel around his neck. He looks toward the ring with his head down. He stops, looks at Brian Shelzi and then climbs the steps. van der Roost places the towel on the turnbuckle, wipes his feet on the apron and climbs through the ropes. He looks up towards the orange spotlight then puts the left glove on. The lights come up and he tosses the right glove into the crowd. JAKE AARONS: His opponent from Rochester, New York! She weighs in at one hundred and thirty pounds! SARAH STARR!"Superstar" by Pegboard Nerds/Krewella plays as the lights flash pink and black with the beat of the music. Sarah Starr then makes her way out of the lion's mouth with Kenneth Starr in tow as a solid pink spotlight shines on her. The wife and husband confidently walk to the ring, shouting at fans along the way. She slides into the ring and makes her way to the middle of it where a pink star spotlight flashes a few times before disappearing as Sarah walks to the corner. Kenneth Starr meets her on the outside, giving her words of encouragement. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this bout is Cordell Garner! Referee Brian Shelzi calls for the bell and a lock-up ensues, JVR quickly arm drags Starr down to the mat. Kenneth Starr leaps onto the apron claiming that his wife's hair was pulled, which draws La Cucaracha from the back. She rushes down to ringside and throws a foam cockroach at Kenneth, he leaps off the apron quickly as though he's convinced it's a real one. His explanation when he runs around ringside to the camera though? "It's probably infested by cockroaches!". La Cucaracha takes a seat at ringside while Kenneth Starr kicks the foam cockroach into the crowd and stands as far away from Cucaracha as possible. Sarah Starr shakes herself out while JVR has a good chuckle at what's transpired so far. They lock-up again, Rooster takes Starr down to the mat with an arm drag but she pops back up and catches JVR off guard, knee to the gut and then a quick rake of the eyes! Shelzi questions her but she's claim she got her knuckle in his eye! "Like this!" Starr exclaims before punching him square in the eye! Rooster goes down clutching his eye. CHAD GOMEZ: A good ol' technical strike to the eye!BASTIAN KRULL: Well, the punch to the eye is certainly a lot more legal than that eye rake was.CHAD GOMEZ: What eye rake?Starr pulls Rooster up off the mat to his knees and clobbers him again, the 42 year old Dutchman gets up and stumbles across the ring. Starr grabs him in a side headlock, but Rooster quickly shoots her off then drops to the mat. She leaps over him and hits the ropes, he leaps up and European uppercuts her! She doesn't go down, but rather falls into the ropes and springs out into a hip toss! Roost drops down and grabs a hold of her arm, but Kenneth Starr eggs her on and she gets back up to her feet while JVR does his best to maintain the hold. Starr pulls him in and knees him in the shoulder then delivers another punch to his eye! Roost falls back into the ropes but comes back with an open hand chop! Starr staggers into the ropes, comes back out - another chop! Falls back into the ropes again, springs back out - chop again! Roost creates some distance after she falls into the ropes a third time, goes for the superkick but Kenneth Starr grabs her foot and pulls her out of the ring! BASTIAN KRULL: Oh come on!CHAD GOMEZ: He's a manager, Bas! He has to have her best interests in mind! BASTIAN KRULL: Big difference between that and interrupting the flow of the match! Kenneth quickly tries to recompose Sarah by offering words of encouragement, while keeping an eye out for La Cucaracha. She comes rushing around the ringside area and chases Kenneth Starr off leaving Sarah Starr leaning against the apron. Sarah stands up and grabs Cucaracha, who turns and almost swings! The crowd OOHs as Cucaracha catches herself. Starr laughs at her and Cucaracha shrugs as JVR grabs Starr by the hair then the tights to pull her back inside. Kenneth yells at the referee about the hair pulling, JVR's momentary lapse in judgment causes him to eat a headbutt! Roost falls to a knee and Starr rushes behind him to the ropes, springs off... grabs his head... TALKING POINT! She falls backwards, driving her knees into the face of Roost! JVR writhes in pain, rolling out to the floor holding his face. BASTIAN KRULL: Looks like one of her knees caught him in the eye! After those two closed fist punches, that's got to hurt even more. That move alone could break the orbital bone, such an injury would be a terrible thing to see happen to anyone, let alone anyone in their debut match.Cucaracha checks on JVR with Shelzi. He gets OK'd by the ringside physician and slides back into the ring, Starr jumps on top of him with stomps and then yanks him to his feet. He is whipped off the ropes, then she attacks with a huracanrana! 1... ... 2-KICKOUT! JVR gets up, a man on a mission and goes for a clothesline, Starr ducks it but eats a stiff kick when they both turn around. JVR throws her arm over and hoists her up... Starr kicks wildly and Roost hits a sloppy brainbuster! He gets up and begins the Rooster Stomp, going all around the body with it. He finishes the sequence with a stomp on the chin, causing Starr to slowly get up holding it. He pulls her in for the Dutch Death Spike, but Kenneth Starr leaps onto the apron to distract! JVR drops her and heads toward him, but La Cucaracha beats him there. Starr drops off the apron and runs away with Cucaracha chasing him to the back. JVR turns around into a low blow! Shelzi calls for the bell! CHAD GOMEZ: That was totally a punch to the thigh!JVR falls to his knees in pain, then face down to the mat. Starr recomposes herself and leans on the middle rope, she sees JVR come back up to his knees and strikes... STARRSTRUCK! The enzuigiri hits and Sarah Starr makes a mock cover! She counts 1-2-3 herself and gets to her feet holding her arms high. Security whisks her out of the ring as the ringside physician slides in to check on Rooster. BASTIAN KRULL: This issue isn't settled yet. Jan van der Roost picks up a disqualification victory over Sarah Starr, who I guess picks up a moral victory in her mind - I'm not sure what that little cover of hers at the end counts for in her mind. CHAD GOMEZ: Oh, lighten up.BASTIAN KRULL: Yeah, it's me who's the problem. Anyway, fans - we're going to take a quick break! Our main event is coming up, but we'll hear from Grace Kazoulis before that. Don't go away!

Backstage the camera zooms in on Becky Chande holding a mic in the direction of Grace Kazoulis. GRACE KAZOULIS: Thanks for giving me a moment Becky. No, I'm not booked tonight but there is a thing I wanted to get of off my chest since … well … like since I watched last Mane Event on YouTube again.
It was after my match and Bastian Krull asked Chad Gomez if Chad was going to belittle me like he does everyone else. Well, Chad didn't. Not to my knowledge or as he put it not while I was around. I'm not saying he did it at other times and that's not the point I'm getting to anyway. My point is we cut promos, we try to get into the heads of our opponents. Sometimes we behave like total assholes. Hey, this is competitive, we will keep doing it because it's just part of the work we really love. Sometimes when I really dislike my opponent I too like cutting loose verbally just to make sure everyone knows there is a slaughter ahead.
Sadly, we often forget one thing. We forget that we are some kind of zany brother- and sisterhood. Okay, mostly a brotherhood but that's a different thing. The bottom line is there is something that connects us all whether we are good, bad or ugly, humble or arrogant. Nobody becomes a wrestler because it is the sensible thing to do. We became wrestlers because we love that profession or at least loved it at some point when we got started. What we do is plain mad and most of us wouldn't trade this life for any other. I for one would not but sometimes we forget that is connects us all on some level.
And sometimes we forget to be respectful where it is due. I had a great match with Anna and she almost finished me with that heart kick. Now this is not horse shoe throwing. Almost doesn't count and I walked out a winner. Still, Anna you are a great wrestler and the match could have any way.For a moment Grace looks into the camera a little lost, then shrugs. GRACE KAZOULIS: Yeah. I guess that's what I wanted to say.She gives the fans and Becky a nod and walks off.

JAKE AARONS: This main event is one fall to a finish with television time limit remaining! Introducing first, the challengers! At a combined weight of four hundred and thirty four pounds! ALEXANDER IRVINE! JULIAN CUTLASS! BLACK LION'S ROAD!Adrenaline Mob's "Break on Through" hits and Julian Cutlass and Alexander Irvine emerge from the lion's mouth to the roar of the crowd. Both men slowly and stoically make their way down the aisle clad in their respective robes as fans eagerly reach out to slap hands with them. The King of the Lions and Irvine remain fixated on the ring however and climb right inside. They hand off their robes to the ringside attendants and exchange a fist bump before each taking a corner and stretching. JAKE AARONS: Their opponents are the current, reigning and defending Pride Champions! At a combined weight of four hundred and three pounds! KENSHIN TAKAMURA! MATT PULVER! THE STREAK!“Heart of Courage [Alive Dubstep Remix]” by Two Steps From Hell hits up across the arena as the crowd gets to their feet. The lion's head roars to life, unleashing a billow of smoke from its nostrils as Kenshin Takamura and Matt Pulver emerge from the lion’s mouth to a massive positive response from the crowd. Takamura raises his title up as Pulver warms up beside him. Takamura straps the championship belt around his waist before both men make their way down toward the ring, slapping hands as they do. Matt Pulver steps through the ropes while Takamura slingshots himself over the top rope and into the ring where he rolls through and leaps onto the far turnbuckle, unsnaps his title and raises it for the crowd while Pulver does similarly on the ropes beside him. With that, both men hop down then hand their titles to the referee before taking their corner and muttering between among themselves about the impending match. JAKE AARONS: Your referee for this contest is Cordell Garner!BASTIAN KRULL: Oh, boy. There's a different kind of energy in the air for this one.CHAD GOMEZ: You're not kidding. There's a lot of tension here. BASTIAN KRULL: And fans, if you missed it, Mandeville Nelson announced the new Iron Rules for all upcoming Iron Championship bouts, but the rule set will be in play in this match! Because these are four men who epitomize everything the Iron Division is about. Here are the rules:- Victory can be obtained by Pinfalls, Submissions, Knockouts and Points Decision - Teams start with 25 points - 1 point is deducted for rope breaks, downs and exiting the ring. You also lose a point for every tag and save you make. - 4 points are deducted for committing a yellow card foul. - No time limit draws. The team with the most amount of points remaining is the winner. - There is a 10 count on the floor rather than the standard 20. - If a partner earns a red card during a match, they will be eliminated and their partner will be forced to fight in a shorthanded situation. Referee Cordell Garner calls for the bell and the match begins with Kenshin Takamura opposite Julian Cutlass. The two take striking stances, Takamura goes for a kick to the thigh that gets caught and Cutlass goes for a palm strike. Takamura manages to wrangle him into a front facelock and drop down to the mat, but the Tokyo Tiger switches position and tries to take Cutlass' back and grab a choke. Cutlass spins out of it and takes Takamura down to the mat, dropping the point total to 24. Takamura quickly sweeps and the two men roll with Takamura ending up in the position he wanted in the first place - back mount. He wraps his arms around Cutlass' neck for the choke sleeper. Cutlass gets up to his feet and Takamura leaps off as the crowd applauds the stand off.
BASTIAN KRULL: Wise decision by Takamura. It's a lot different if it's late in the match, it's still a risk, but they may not have the energy to withstand your body weight on their back when they attempt to stand up and you can use that against them. Early on, there's lots of energy there. Don't risk the points, don't risk it in general.
The two men take turns feinting, trying to force the other to make a mistake. Cutlass goes for a palm strike, but Takamura slips it and goes behind. He forces Cutlass to the mat, but it isn't a takedown so it doesn't count as a point deduction. Takamura's grip goes from a rear waistlock back to the choke, Cutlass tries to roll out of it but winds up putting himself in a worse position. He remains calm though and twists his body, then uses his elbow to create some space between his neck and Takamura's arm... he gets an arm wringer applied but Takamura wheels out of it into a front facelock. Cutlass pulls out and attempts a knee, but Takamura backs up to avoid it and finds himself in the wrong corner. Cutlass locks-up with him and Alexander Irvine tags himself in, dropping their point total to 24. Irvine gets in and like a wolf goes right to work, he gets Takamura in a front waistlock and then transitions into a rear waistlock. Takamura manages to pull Irvine's arm and clamp on a kimura. Irvine grabs the Tokyo Tiger's leg and does a front roll to get himself out of that predicament. Irvine winds up on top and clamps on an inverted facelock, but Takamura grabs onto the back of Irvine's head as he's pulling him up and contorts his body... snapmaring him back down to the mat. Pulver reaches in and tags.
CHAD GOMEZ: These blind tags are going to wind up detrimental to somebody sometime.
BASTIAN KRULL: Hahaha, you're not wrong.
Pulver stands tall, waiting for Takamura to roll out of the ring and eggs Irvine on. The crowd works itself into a frenzy over this match-up and Irvine smirks before walking up. Pulver tries to close the gap with kicks, but Irvine keeps out of his range. Pulver kicks wildly, so Irvine whacks him with a slap! Irvine likes it so much he tries to do it twice, but Pulver rattles off two quick kicks to the legs! Irvine is reeling back toward the ropes and Pulver senses blood, so he keeps on him. Irvine smirks through the kicks and catches Pulver with a headbutt! The young lion is staggered and Irvine goes on the offense, clubbing him with strikes and backing him into the ropes! Pulver ducks a shot and clocks Irvine with a kick across the chest! The Wolf is knocked back into the ropes and doesn't lose a point because of that, but Garner gives him a ten count. Irvine shakes his head and gets up at three. Once again, he keeps his distance and works defensively - eating some kicks to try and open up and opportunity against Pulver. Irvine clocks Pulver with a palm strike right on the nose, sending him down to his knees and onto the mat. Pulver is on all fours stirring and gets back up at three. Irvine immediately clinches and forces him back into the ropes, he works the midsection with some jabs before applying a waistlock and belly to belly suplexing Pulver across the ring!
BASTIAN KRULL: That suplex counts as a down, so that puts the Streak at 23 points. Remember now you lose points for being downed, using the ropes to break a hold, exiting the ring and in these tag matches, you lose a point for every tag and save you make. If you receive a yellow card, you'll be deducted four points. Should a tag team partner get himself disqualified - the match will continue as a handicap match.
CHAD GOMEZ: Good luck with that.
Pulver gets back up at the count of four, his first kick attempt is caught and he follows it up with a leaping enzuigiri! Irvine staggers and manages to make a tag to Cutlass before he can fall, negating that point deduction for a down but losing one for the tag. BLR is at 23 now also. Pulver circles around Cutlass and the two lock-up, Pulver grabs a hold of the champion and forces him into a guillotine choke and brings him down to his knees. The King of the Lions tells Garner that he's not going to give up, Pulver tries to wrap his legs around Cutlass' body but the King of the Lions Champion picks him up and Northern Light suplexes him to the mat! The Streak is at 22. Pulver doesn't stay down long and Cutlass uses that youthful foolishness on his part to rush his number one contender, palm striking him into the corner! He nails some repeated elbows and then grabs the headlock and takes Pulver down to the mat, bringing the point total to 21. Pulver tries to work his way out of the hold as Cutlass does his best to transition into a guillotine choke of his own, Pulver gets to his knees and lunges his shoulder into Cutlass - putting him against the turnbuckle. Pulver keeps his arms outstretched so as to not use up a rope break while in this hold and Cutlass abandons the choke, switching to a double underhook and quickly turning and butterfly suplexing Pulver across the ring to break the Streak's point total to 20.
CHAD GOMEZ: Outsmarted! A good idea by Pulver, but it ended up costing him anyway!
Pulver gets up, not too happy and storms into a lock-up with the KOL Champion. He isolates an arm and tries to pull him down to the mat with a Fujiwara armbar, but Cutlass palm strikes him out of it! Pulver falls down to the mat, but quickly rolls to this feet. No matter, the Streak is at 19 points. Takamura requests back into the match and Pulver nods, Cutlass steps aside and lets him do so. Irvine scolds him for that one, but Cutlass assures him he knows what he's doing. 18 points remain for the Streak as Takamura gets in and the two trade grapple attempts at close quarters with Takamura eventually grabbing Cutlass' arm and judo tossing him to the mat. BLR is at 22. Takamura takes the champion's back and is trying to gain wrist control, but Cutlass is doing a fantastic job of defending such. Takamura changes his mind and goes back to the choke attempt from earlier, turning it more of a grounded side headlock choke. Takamura wrenches back on it, Irvine tells Cutlass the ropes are right behind him, encouraging him to keep calm though. Cutlass gets up to a knee and swings Takamura over and down to the mat, bringing the point total to 17 for the Streak. Cutlass rolls right into side control and delivers some brutal grounded palm strikes to Takamura, who scrambles to cover up. Just by nature of where he is, Takamura rolls into the ropes.
BASTIAN KRULL: Didn't look to me like that rope break was intentional, but no matter - the Streak is at sixteen points to BLR's twenty two.
Takamura gets up, a little ticked and begins walloping Cutlass with kicks, backing him into the ropes. The Tokyo Tiger tries to clinch him once there, but the King of the Lions delivers a knee to the chest of Takamura and drives him back into the middle of the ring. Takamura absolutely drills Cutlass with a forearm shot, sending him wobbly leg into a tag from Alexander Irvine. 21 points now for BLR. Irvine gets in and is an absolute animal, he goes for the clinch and isolates Takamura's arm - the one with the bad shoulder - and drives an elbow onto it. Takamura yelps and throws a forearm his way, but Irvine is able to easily avoid it with control of the arm. He chickenwings the arm and half nelsons the other... SUPLEX! The Streak is at 15 points now and Irvine actually makes a cover.

2-KICKOUT!
Irvine quickly goes back to work on the shoulder from side control, he grabs the wrist of Takamura and wraps his arm around for a headlock while wrenching on the wrist. With his free hand, he presses down on the back of Takamura's elbow of the arm tangled up and Takamura is forced to use a rope break to escape. 14 points for the Streak. Alexander Irvine gets up and smiles at Pulver, who glares back at him. Irvine swoops in for a takedown, but Takamura sprawls. They grapple for position from there with Takamura forcing him down into north-south position, Takamura tries to hold him there while favouring the shoulder but this allows Irvine to easily spin out. He grabs Takamura and takes him down to the mat to put them at 13 points. Irvine works to escape from Takamura's guard, but Takamura pulls him into high guard and goes for a triangle choke... but Irvine kicks up and pins his shoulders down!

2-KICKOUT!
Takamura is forced to release the hold and Garner separates the two men, Irvine dashes across the ring and flying forearms Takamura! The Battle Cry drops Takamura and brings the Streak to 12 points. Takamura rolls out of the ring, making it 11 points for the automatic tag. Pulver hops in and roars as he leaps to deliver a forearm strike! Irvine gets staggered, but comes back with one of his own! Pulver ducks a second one and whips Irvine across the ring into the corner. Pulver charges in, but Irvine moves and Pulver hits sternum first. Irvine grabs a full nelson and Dragon suplexes Pulver! 10 points! Irvine laughs as he foregoes a pin attempt and pulls Pulver up to the mat, kneeing him in the gut and snapping off a brainbuster to bring the Streak down to the nine points. Irvine swings his hips in his best Eddie Guerrero impression and looks to go for another... and does! Eight points! A third? Yup! He's going for it! He gets it! Seven points! Cutlass yells to pin him, watching Takamura stir from the outside. Irvine goes for a fourth... HITS IT! Six points. He goes for a fifth, but decides against it and leaves Pulver on his knees. The young lion topples over and Irvine has a good laugh before dropping down for the cover.

3-TAKAMURA SAVES THE DAY!
BASTIAN KRULL: Five points remain for the Streak to BLR's twenty one.
CHAD GOMEZ: Doomsday for Pulver and Takamura!
Irvine gets up and stomps Takamura's bad shoulder before pushing him back out of the ring. Irvine clamps on a guillotine choke to Pulver, then slams him down with a DDT. Four points remain. Garner begins registering the knockout count.

9-Irvine pulls him up!
BASTIAN KRULL: Come on!
Irvine chuckles at the boos, but hoists Pulver onto his shoulders in the Argentine Backbreaker and begins the Torture Rack that he calls the Awakening! Pulver is out, so there's no waking him. Garner calls the match and Irvine drops Pulver, Cutlass goes to retrieve their newly won belts and Irvine begins pounding on Pulver while he's out! Takamura reaches in, pulls Irvine out by the ankle and goes to wallop him but Irvine punches him in the shoulder! Takamura doubles over in pain and Irvine rams him into the ring post shoulder first! Cutlass drops the belts and goes out to break this up, but gets spun around... ROBB DANIELS?! Daniels drops him with the Picture Perfect Stunner and exits as quickly as he came. Irvine grabs Takamura and hoists him up on his shoulder for the backbreaker rack, but instead of torture racking him... he drops him shoulder first on the apron! Takamura is in agony on the arena floor! Security comes down in full force to break this all up, Alexander Irvine finally notices Cutlass is slowly pulling himself up and looks around without a clue as to what happened. Pulver is motionless on the mat still. Irvine gets in, retrieves the belts and helps Cutlass up. Cutlass tells him what happened and Irvine looks around for Daniels as the show concludes.
